"Our stay at the AMANI Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda was absolutely fantastic! First of all, we loved the hotel's design: modern, cozy, simple yet elegant, and perfectly integrated with the local atmosphere. All the amenities were complete, every corner of the hotel was spotless, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast was excellent, a blend of continental and Chinese styles, very healthy and nutritious. Best of all were the people at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The housekeeping staff were also superb, providing everything we needed. A huge thank you to all the staff at the AMANI Hotel! We loved the hotel's location. Downtown Kigali is very touristy and noisy, and we wanted a more authentic, quieter place to stay, which was perfect—convenient and safe. Everything was perfect. Negative points • Although I booked a twin room, they told there were none available. The first room they showed me on the second floor was extremely noisy due to loud music and vibrations from the restaurant and event space. The next room they offered faced the road, but the wall was not soundproof and the outside noise was very disturbing. • When I tried to speak with the manager, there was no manager available on Sundays. If the manager is off, there should be someone acting on their behalf. • The restaurant had many flies. There were both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs, but even the “hard-boiled” ones were half-cooked inside. When I asked for a properly hard-boiled egg, one of the kitchen staff gave me an unpleasant look, and even after asking, the egg was still undercooked (photo). The male kitchen staff were unfriendly, and it was impossible to order any egg dishes comfortably. • The corridor lights turn off automatically, making it pitch dark and creepy. Positive points • Comfortable bed, welcome drink

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very modern and the staff is wonderful. I booked this room the day of arrival and was still able to get a complimentary hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel car was very modern as well. The free breakfast was great and I ate at the restaurant every night. Special shoutout to the driver Dodos who helped me navigate through the area. The hotel is in a very busy area with shops and restaurants and stores. Dodos took his own time to walk with me around the area. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I would have no issues booking here again.

I had such a wonderful stay at the hotel! 😊 It’s super clean and in a perfect location. The only little downside was that breakfast isn’t included for standard rooms over $100. Other than that, I absolutely loved it! The restaurant and bar deserves ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨

Facilities: The room is a little old and not very big, but the decor is very reasonable. Cleanliness: It's cleaned very well every day. Environment: Excellent environment. Service: Excellent service; the staff responds very quickly. It's just a bit noisy because it's near the street.

Отель очень понравился! Неожиданно высокий уровень обслуживания, не уступает лучшим отелям Турции. Номер стандарт достаточно просторный, большая кровать с двумя тумбочками и кушеткой, большой шкаф, длинный стол и стулья, кресло с журнальным столиком - мебели достаточно для комфорта. В ванной душевая кабина, ванна, не хватает только биде или гигиенического душа. В ванной также стеллаж для одежды. Чистота на высоте. Сервис тоже: вечером приходит работник и расстилает постель, ставит около нее тапочки и коврик типа полотенца. Завтрак проходит возле бассейна, на улице или в помещении. На шведском столе, помимо стандартных блюд, три разных салата, несколько видов сыров (в том числе камамбер и рокфор), 4-5 видов свежих соков (арбуз, ананас, маракуйя и др), из фруктов - два вида маракуйи, арбуз, ананас, оранжевые шарики - ”гусиная ягода”, папайя, а также плоды томатного дерева. Завтрак изысканный!

I had a great stay at Royal Crown Hotel. The hotel was clean, the room was a nice size, and it had a comfortable setup. I appreciated the smart TV and the overall feel of the room. The airport pickup service was convenient and cost $30. Breakfast was included and had fresh fruit, a plain omelette, and potatoes that were really good. The only issue I had was that the balcony doors would not lock, which was something that should be addressed for guests’ safety and peace of mind. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good amenities and helpful service.

I had sent 2 emails to inform lodge i would check in at 2.30 am; no one was on reception when I arrived. Had to wait 20 minutes for guy to show. They’d put in very loud room beside very busy dual carriageway. In the end they upgraded me to quieter room but still heard construction noise banging from neighbouring compound throughout the night. I left a 10,000 franc tip for dinner one night; that was mistakenly put on check out bill for $10. It is beautiful but I have quite a few buts….
