Guest UserThe moment I opened the room door, I was immediately impressed! The bed was clean, thick, and came with soft, plush pillows – it felt amazing to just collapse onto it after a long journey. The large window, with its pristine white curtains and sheers, framed a charming armchair and coffee table set in the corner of the room. I left the curtains open all night, allowing for a clear city view. The service was incredibly prompt, and the staff were very responsive and efficient. My request for an extra pillow, due to my back pain, was immediately fulfilled. What I had anticipated from an Aston group hotel, and indeed, what I found at Harper Hotel Wahid Hasyim by Aston, was a diverse and delicious breakfast spread. While perhaps not as extensive as some larger Aston hotels, for a hotel of its class, HARPER HOTEL BY ASTON IS THE BEST!! The hospitality of every hotel employee was also incredibly satisfying! Friendly, full of smiles, and helpful! It's absolutely great! As a tour operator, I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel's location is excellent, close to the train station, and it's very clean. Breakfast is included and well-prepared, quite delicious. We visited nearby attractions, most of which were within walking distance. I also saw a large mosque. It's currently Ramadan, and I even participated in their evening activities where officials gave speeches to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which is like their annual new year. I'm very glad I got to experience it.

Guest UserConveniently located from the train station (though we used Grab).
Loved the availability of WatsApp with the hotel, they responded promptly.
Despite 1 set of toiletries for 2 guest, seemed a little silly.
The housekeeper are always very kind to provide more when requested.
Excellent masseuse at the Spa on L2.
Breakfast buffet is sumptuous though the 'top up' is slow after 9am.
Centre point Centre shopping mall is just right behind the hotel.. with variety of f&b, shops & korean supermarket.

Had a great stay at Grand Central Premier Hotel!
The room was very big, spacious, clean, and well maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. The facilities and amenities are also great. I especially appreciated the welcome drinks during check-in, a nice touch that made the experience feel more premium. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day.
Location-wise, it’s very strategic. It’s within walking distance to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. Plus, it’s close to Deli Park Mall, one of the nicest shopping malls in the city, so food and shopping options are easily accessible.

Overall stay is good but the amenities like bath towel is shabby and faded white color, no face towel n small towel. breakfast is really ‘local indonesian’ style . I ordered room service for dinner and its good👍. I am staying at pool terrace and view is superb at night. I love the view.

Guest UserEverything was good, except for one thing: I booked two nights in a smoking room, but on the first night, I was given a non-smoking room. I only got a smoking room on the second night. Also, on the second night, my family and I wanted to use the pool at 7 PM, but we weren't allowed because it was being used for a wedding dinner. Even though the pool is supposed to be an amenity for guests.

Guest UserI always choose Ibis Pattimura when I first landed in Medan because mostly I took the late night flight from Kuala Lumpur. The reception was good and overall service was good. But one thing that is always happen is the noises on the corridor (people talking, kids running on the corridor) and its not sound proof and it caused me lack of sleep. Hopefully the management taking action on this matter or the security or housekeeper staff will regularly check the floor to avoid this bothering noise from neighbours room or corridor.

The apartment is very spacious, which makes it a great choice, especially for family gatherings. The room was very clean, and the price is very reasonable for the size and value offered.
However, the apartment would benefit from some updates, as the mattresses feel quite soft and old. Replacing the mattresses, pillows, and blaket would significantly improve comfort and make the stay even better.
Overall, this is a good place for families looking for a spacious and affordable stay, and with a few upgrades to the bedding, it would be perfect.

Anonymous UserI recently stayed at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan, and overall, it was a decent experience—especially for the price.
The hotel is located in a pretty strategic area, making it easy to get around the city and access nearby attractions, shopping spots, and transportation. Many guests also highlight the convenience of its location and accessibility.
The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, with basic amenities like air conditioning, TV, and WiFi. Cleanliness was generally acceptable, although some areas could use better maintenance and attention to detail.
One of the positives is the staff—they were mostly friendly and helpful during the stay, which made the experience more pleasant. The breakfast offered a decent variety of food, though sometimes items were not refilled quickly during busy periods.
However, there are a few downsides. Some guests have reported issues like noise (especially from air conditioning units), occasional maintenance problems, and inconsistent service at the front desk. The facilities are also quite basic, so don’t expect anything luxurious.
Overall, Grand Sakura Hotel is a good budget-friendly option if you’re looking for a simple and convenient place to stay in Medan. It’s best suited for short stays or travelers who prioritize location and value over luxury.
