I recently stayed at JW Marriott Hotel Medan and was truly impressed by the experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional—every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was at check-in, concierge, or housekeeping. The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, with a fantastic view of the city skyline. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with high-quality amenities. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a huge plus. The facilities were top-notch—I particularly enjoyed the infinity pool on the upper floor, which offers an incredible panoramic view of Medan. The fitness center was well-equipped and clean. Food-wise, I was blown away by the breakfast buffet at Marriott Café. A wide variety of both local and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. Overall, JW Marriott Medan exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and excellent service, this is the place to be.

The room is clean and well maintained, location is still quite central, many eateries outside the hotel. Breakfast serves local food and continental food as well. I would like to come back next time.

Our family of four stayed at deSatu Hotel during a short trip to Medan, and it was a pleasant surprise! The location is unbeatable right next to Centre Point Mall and just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around with kids super convenient. The rooms were compact but clean, with cold AC and strong water pressure in the shower a must after a long day exploring the city. While the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, we found plenty of food options nearby, including local favorites like Soto Sinar Pagi. The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering tips on where to eat and how to get around. The only downside was a bit of street noise at night, but nothing that kept us awake. Overall, it’s a great value for families looking for a clean, central, and budget-friendly stay in Medan.

well the hotel is very clean, and this is personal experience i got very nice sleep here the location also very close with the city of medan so very comfortable

The service was good, one highlight to afternoon staff, when I approach the counter for check in, there is one one man came to reception in the middle of my registration and asking about the room availability, I expect the staff will say, can I get back to you? let me handle her first, but instead he check the room availability on the different system beside mine. At last he handled me. He might be only make sure that there is room vacant, but you can only focus on who come first and then you can move on to another, after all its accor brand. Overall experience the room is clean, the bathroom very god and clean. Will be back for sure 

Good location. Have many restaurants nearby also. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was provided. The food was normal but okay. Good view also.

Was a little bit surprised when there was a towel inside the towel, but it probably fell off the shelve of towels and besides that the hotel is fine, there’s no problem. Nice bar and swimming pool uptop and there’s also a restaurant downstairs. I tried the food at night from the bar. A beer was about 50.000 rupiah, a pizza was about 78.000 rupiah for a special one, fries about 30.000. All tasted good so very happy with that. For the price I’d say it’s a very good hotel.

Affordable basic room but clean enough ( some ants though). Location is central within 20min walking radius of major malls ( Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), Damri airport bus ( in front of Plaza Medan Fair), family massage/reflexology outlets (Jl.Orion), and the popular medan cakes outlets eg ”bika ambon” (Zulaikha)/”bolu” (Meranti). Car park is available with security. However, the complimentary breakfast is only set without selection option.
