GGuest UserI took my baby on a family vacation and was lucky to stay at the beautiful Qijing Meisu in Xidi. It is next to Xidi Village, quiet and not noisy. The courtyard is tranquil and full of flower fragrance. When you push open the gate, you can see rape flowers and mountains in the distance. The boss is a Beijinger with an optimistic and generous personality. He is very friendly. When I brought my baby back, I happened to see the boss making breakfast. The baby said it smelled good. The boss asked us to eat with him. The handmade buns and green rice dumplings were so delicious. The baby also successfully became good friends with the original resident of the yard (a cat named Yamamoto). I felt that the Xidi Village restaurant was too noisy during the holidays, so I bought some food and returned to the pavilion in the courtyard to eat and drink tea. The breeze blew on my face, and Yamamoto, who had a good sense of propriety, lay quietly by the door. Everything felt perfect! Clean, sanitary, quiet and sincere, next time I come to Xidi, I will choose Laoban's house as my first choice!

GGuest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰.
I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

GGuest UserBanyan Tree Huangshan boasts a superb location, nestled halfway up a mountain, surrounded by peaks and offering views of Hongcun and Lucun villages with their white walls and dark tiles. The landscape of Southern Anhui is picturesque, like a painting from afar, and up close you can hear the birds chirping by the stream.
Even more impressive than the beautiful surroundings is the exceptional service. Everyone is incredibly enthusiastic, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. Our butler, D, was especially attentive and responsive to all our requests. When we bought some medicine and had it delivered to a village quite far away, our butler brought it straight to our room as soon as they found out, which deeply touched us. We truly felt at home here. We stayed for six days and were reluctant to leave. The scenery and the excellent service at Banyan Tree Huangshan are definitely worth a return visit.

The hotel environment is better and the facilities are complete. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel is also delicious. The staple food, fruit, milk and coffee, are all available. Good review!

GGuest UserI originally reserved a room for one day, but the boss was so kind and the courtyard was so beautiful. I stayed here for 4 consecutive days and I couldn't bear to leave. You can sing, eat, and fish in the small courtyard. There is a large area of rice at the door. The misty mountain is especially fairy. The surrounding area is very quiet. When you enter the village, there is a long and beautiful road with flowers, rice fields and mountain bosses on both sides. There are bicycles that you can borrow to ride and take pictures. It is really beautiful. The boss is really caring. The room is very comfortable and the facilities are complete. The bed is very comfortable and the toiletries are very good. Because it was raining and the clothes were not dry, the boss even took the dryer specially. There is also a toilet mat for babies in the room, which is very suitable for bringing children to play. The meals cooked by the aunt are also delicious, and the boss also gave the children fruits to eat and special products when they left. Knowing that we were going to Jingdezhen, the boss asked a friend to help us book a discounted hotel. When we left, he sent us to the car like a friend from afar. Mom and Dad also lived very comfortably and made friends with the boss and mom. They insisted that I stay for a few days when I came back from Jingdezhen, and I would take the children on vacation when I have time. My mother told me to write more good reviews 😄😄

1. The entire architectural style is Huizhou, but I also feel it incorporates Song dynasty elements. Every few steps reveal a new scenic view, making it truly enjoyable to explore. Each functional area is meticulously designed. Watching a movie on the B1 floor at night is incredibly relaxing, and the rooftop infinity pool offers stunning views over many small villages – it's a fantastic experience.
2. The hotel staff are very polite, enthusiastic, and genuinely considerate of guests.
3. The hotel's breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese, Western, and Cantonese options, and the quality is excellent.
If I visit again, I would still choose Tan She.

GGuest UserPig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area.
Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.

Location: Xishu is close to the entrance of the scenic spot, but it is quiet in the mind. It is very quiet to sleep at night without noise!
Environment: Hui-style architecture, a lot of lush vegetation, a very unique courtyard, and a good environment!
Facilities: The room facilities are quite complete, there is an electronic toilet, a bathtub, and a disposable bathtub bag. It is very clean and tidy. The bed is moderately soft and comfortable, and there is a free costume experience!
Service: The boss is very enthusiastic. It happened to rain when we arrived at the parking lot outside the scenic spot on the day of check-in. The boss came to pick us up in the rain and sent special snacks to the hotel. It was delicious! He also took the initiative to help us upgrade to a large room, which was very considerate. It was a very pleasant and comfortable accommodation experience!
