Location: The hotel is situated within the Xidi Scenic Area. Upon check-in, each room receives two complimentary adult tickets to Xidi, with each adult ticket allowing one child to enter for free. The tickets are valid for 3 days, meaning a family of two adults and two children staying here can enjoy free entry to the scenic area.
Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities. The bathroom amenities and bedding are of good quality, and the decor has a charming traditional aesthetic. The complimentary items provided, such as the peach wood comb, toiletries, towels, and cotton-linen slippers, are all of high quality. It feels like you're bringing home a lot of lovely souvenirs after just one stay!
Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room.
Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

The hosts tried to get in touch with me before I checked in but I couldn’t receive due to not having a local number. The hosts will very kindly arrange a pickup/drop off for you as the homestay is located outside of the key scenic area so definitely try to get in touch with them before your arrival (or else, expect to walk about 15 minutes from the main bus station - it’s not too bad honestly)
The hosts were super kind and the lady boss was so nice to invite me to her tea shop in the main village to drink some tea before driving me back. The room was quiet and amenities were super great! Highly recommend if you like a quiet space.

Guest UserAfter a few days of exploring Huangshan, we returned to the hotel. It's a 5-6 minute walk to the main scenic area of Hongcun, so there's no need to rush around with luggage.
The spacious living room features a tea table, a rockery, and a boat – sitting there and daydreaming feels like stepping into a painting. The biggest surprise was the fully automated guest room controls; lighting and curtains were managed with a single touch, and the smart toilet was incredibly convenient. Every detail reflects the thoughtful touches of a high-end hotel.
The shared facilities were top-notch: a bright and clean laundry room ensured clothes were always fresh, the rooftop infinity pool offered panoramic mountain views, and there was a fully equipped gym where you could relax and rejuvenate after a long day of sightseeing.

Anonymous UserThe location is fantastic, within walking distance to Hongcun, and there's a free shuttle bus. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the smart controls were super convenient. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The self-service laundry room was incredibly practical. The front desk service was very attentive, paying attention to every detail! The value for money is amazing. It's my top choice for travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Guest UserThere's a good reason why HONGCUN YINMO HOTEL has zero negative reviews – it's an excellent hotel! I stayed for two nights and genuinely believe it's the best hotel in Hongcun. The location, ambiance, cleanliness, and service all get a perfect score 💯. It's incredibly chic and spotless, with the room cleaning done exceptionally well; even the corners are clean and odor-free. The toiletries are comprehensive, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is a real comfort. The corridors are also very quiet, making for a truly peaceful stay. Plus, they offer beautiful traditional clothing for guests to wear for free for photos, which is a lovely touch! Upon check-out, they even gave us two local specialty pastries. I honestly recommend this hotel.

Guest UserI booked the Hongcun Wanxinglou·Nanhupan Garden Homestay online. It's conveniently located right by the South Lake, near Hongcun's South Gate, making it easy to visit all the core attractions. The room was spacious and tidy, with a separate wet and dry bathroom that had no strange odors. They provided disposable toilet seat covers and decent quality toilet paper, as well as a full set of disposable amenities. The entire homestay has a charming rustic, antique vibe, and the room was very quiet. I was quite satisfied! Due to bad weather forecast for Huangshan the next two days, I canceled my subsequent plans and immediately extended my stay here for another night offline to enjoy a deeper exploration of Hongcun, hehe! The food here is also quite good, and both the owner and staff are very warm and enthusiastic. Recommended!

The location and service at this Ji Hotel are truly exceptional. It's just a two-minute walk from the bus station; I planned to see the morning mist, and the parking lot across the street was right there; all the good restaurants and places to go to Hongcun are within walking distance; taxis to Xiuli, the county town, Tachuan, and Bishan are very convenient, and there are many buses to Huangshan at night right outside the hotel. I've been incredibly impressed by the hotel's excellent location. The front desk staff were extremely professional. When they saw me with a nosebleed and tissues in my hand, they quickly gave me two tissues – I was so grateful. I hadn't brought a change of clothes, so I asked the hotel to do my laundry late at night, and they readily agreed. I felt very apologetic for making such a request, but I'm incredibly grateful to the young woman on duty that night (I don't know her name), thank you so much! Another incredibly thoughtful touch was the gloves as a souvenir! In the cold southern winter, my fingers were freezing, and wearing the gloves kept me warm and cozy the whole time. Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Hongcun!

What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk to Hongcun Ancient Village, which is incredibly convenient. They have a beautiful garden on the 5th-floor rooftop – perfect for photos, both the scenery and people turn out great!
Friendly tip: If you're visiting both Hongcun and Xidi ancient villages, make sure to buy the joint ticket. It allows unlimited entries within three days. Oh, and I highly recommend checking out Bishan Village too; it's a wonderful place to explore at your own pace and full of delightful surprises.

jasmineCCBefore checking into Banyan Tree Huangshan, my expectations were really high, but I ended up quite disappointed. Let me start with the positives: 1. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, quite decent for a star-rated hotel. The fresh juices were squeezed on demand, and the fruit quality was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were very efficient at clearing tables and setting up, so there was never any waiting for a seat, everyone could get seated promptly. 2. The service throughout our stay was fantastic. Everyone was very attentive and patiently listened to guest feedback and suggestions, making adjustments proactively. The downsides, however, were quite noticeable: 1. The hardware is terrible and doesn't match the price point at all. The air conditioning in the room was very noisy and just barely passable. The bathroom was particularly bad; I've never encountered such poor bathroom facilities, especially not in a five-star hotel. The shower pressure was very weak, and so was the water flow from the bathtub faucet. The toilet height was incredibly uncomfortable; even for someone of my 175cm height, it was awkward to use. Plus, the quality was poor, and due to the bad glaze, flushing was a hassle. The central air conditioning in the lobby was practically useless. Walking into the hotel lobby, it felt only a few degrees cooler than outside. We didn't want to spend any time in the public areas; with outdoor temperatures at 37 degrees Celsius, the heat in the lobby was unbearable. 2. The hotel's main selling point is its 'getaway' style, and while the environment is indeed deep in a valley, quiet and secluded, it lacks the simple recreational facilities that would make guests want to stay. I went to the pool table three times and couldn't play because there was always a queue. Besides that, there weren't many other good leisure activities. For example, the coffee and tea area wasn't appealing because the public area AC was too high, making it uncomfortable, and the cafe environment itself didn't match the price of the hotel, falling far short of many five-star hotels in scenic areas. Although the hotel advertised iron-flower performances, they were only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and we perfectly missed them during our two-day stay. In summary, the hotel's promotional pictures are very attractive, but the reality is quite different. If you're just looking for a secluded getaway, it can meet that need. For everything else, there's a lot of room for improvement.
