Although the fall colors are a little disappointing in Tachuan, the hotel is excellent. Location wise it is situated between the main attractions of both Tachuan and Honcun within walking distance. The facility is very modern and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are clean and with all amenities you want to have. They provide good breakfast free and also wonderfully cooked dinner from their menu with very reasonable prize. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and helpful. A nice day, a nice B&B, I like it. The B&B is very quiet and comfortable, and the housekeeper is also great. He gave us two tickets to the Shouzhuo Garden Scenic Area, which has beautiful scenery. It is not far from Hongcun Scenic Area and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

This stay was fantastic! We were immediately drawn to the elegant garden upon entering the courtyard. The flowers and plants were beautifully maintained, the courtyard design was unique, and the interior of the old house was tastefully decorated, clearly showing the owner's dedication. The rooms were exceptionally clean, which was a major plus for our whole family. Furthermore, the toiletries were L'Occitane, the bottled water was Evian, and milk was provided in the room daily – these details enhanced the experience. Also, I must mention the fantastic location! It's right inside the south gate, and South Lake is right outside the door – highly recommended!

Such a fantastic place to stay in this magical village… we felt extremely welcomed since our arrival, the room was so tidy and comfy with all the amenities you could wish for. The breakfast was delicious with attention to all the details including making their own soy milk. We also had dinner there on our last night and the food was nothing short of a fancy restaurant but with the care of a homemade meal. I will never forget my time here… the village is also one of the most magical places I had the chance to visit. The staff helped us get a taxi to our next destination, they were really nice people and we wish to visit them again someday. Thank you!

The service is really attentive ❤️. Before staying at the hotel, the housekeeper will come in advance and add WeChat to set up a WeChat service group, inform the location, and come to greet you. When delivering, he also gave you a souvenir handmade in the store. The children and elders all enjoyed their stay. We could see the starry sky in our room at night. The children were very surprised and kept asking if they could continue to stay here tomorrow? ! The room is consistent with the picture of the reservation. The special mountain spring water and welcome dinner in the store are very considerate. The breakfast is also 10 kinds of which are very balanced and rich. The welcome dog Wangzai is very cute. He greets and sees off guests, and the overall impression is wonderful. Very good impression. I will stay here again next time I come to Hongcun.

Very Good
We had a wonderful stay at the Valley of Zen and would highly recommend to anyone considering staying in the area. Vera-Lee and the manager were very welcoming and nothing was too difficult for them, we are very grateful for the warm reception. Location is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the village in a very peaceful location and hotel provided convenient shuttle to go into the village. It’s also convenient for Huangshan. Sound bowl experience is also a must - very relaxing. Highly recommend!
