Guest UserVery clean! This time I arrived at 11 AM and to my surprise, a room was already available for early check-in. The location is unbeatable, less than 50 meters from the main square. It's incredibly convenient! For a tourist, having a hotel right by the square as a base and resting spot is just fantastic. I woke up at 6 AM and went to the square to take pictures, and it was completely empty! There are many restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was decent.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the pier, and the restaurant offers breathtaking views. Dinner service was acceptable. However, the compulsory service charge on the bill was excessively high. Bar service, on the other hand, was disappointing, with one particular staff member always having a cold demeanor. There was no complimentary bottled water provided in the rooms. Booking a superior room often results in being assigned an accessible room or a subpar one on the ground floor, and even if you're unhappy with your room, they refuse to allow a change.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

Guest UserStaff was courteous and very friendly - especially the woman at breakfast. Room was clean and very large with a nice bathroom. Only negative was the lack of a free shuttle to and from the airport
Would definitely recommend to other travelers

Guest UserI specifically chose this hotel because it has direct access to the water, allowing us to arrive by water taxi straight from the airport. The location is absolutely perfect—ideal both for arriving by boat and for exploring the city on foot.
The only thing worth mentioning is that the hotel could benefit from some renovation. Personally, I think even small cosmetic improvements would make a big difference—for example, replacing the grout and silicone seals in the bathroom so they look fresh, clean, and bright again. This would make the rooms feel even more attractive while preserving the hotel's charm.
The reception team kindly recommended several excellent restaurants in the city, and every recommendation turned out to be fantastic.
The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop terrace with breathtaking sunset views. The bold seagulls that regularly visit are all part of the unique Venetian atmosphere and added to the experience!
Breakfast offers a great variety of choices, and the staff throughout the hotel are exceptional—professional, warm, attentive, and always ready to help.
Thank you very much for making our stay in Venice so memorable. We truly enjoyed our time and hope to return again!

Have to travel
Alomost perfect but “Check in Guide”
As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didn’t receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests.
Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Don’t walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this building’s location . And we got cold because of October’s weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to “Campiello Diego” and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front desk’s WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room.
The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the “finding hotel” process, we like this hotel.
BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good.
Hope our information can help you~

Alex Fu HKGThe best even hotel I’ve ever stayed in Europe.
Super perfect service, highly professional and quality staff, good English, efficient, and take care of my every details.
Quality physical condition of the hotel, the hotel is a re-renovated building from a flour mill, so that it is very spacious, my room is big enough also in European hotel.
Great location, 15-minute from St Mark’s Sq, chilled island and not distanced but you’ve to take water taxi to get to the hotel
Qualify breakfast, an unforgettable enjoyment for my stay
Reliable Water shuttle bus - one of the very important services provided by the hotel to go to / from St Mark’s Sq, Euro15 for the whole stay, 30-minute frequency every day. And the hotel also offer complimentary water taxi to Murano Island everyday, so that I can visit both Murano and Burano at the same day.

Guest UserThe bus driver who picked us up in the evening was incredibly rude; I wouldn't even give him one star for service. We'd pre-booked the shuttle service and had already been charged online, with the order showing as confirmed. However, for some reason, we couldn't access the bus ticket page – it kept showing an error. Perhaps it was because we were using a German SIM card, or maybe there was an issue with the hotel's website (we tried again after leaving the hotel the next day, and it worked fine). But at the time, the bus driver was really difficult, you know? We tried repeatedly to explain and show him the order confirmation page, but he just said it wasn't his fault, that he didn't care about our reasons, and he only looked at the ticket page. His impatient tone and glare would have made anyone lose their cool. So, my husband got into an argument with him. I tried to de-escalate, telling him I understood it was his job and not his fault, but before I could finish, he pointed his finger at my nose, stared me down, and loudly declared, 'Yes, madam, it's all your fault!' Then he got back into the driver's seat and started muttering to himself in Italian, but in a way that sounded insulting. At that point, I lost it too. We flew all the way to Milan and took a train to Venice specifically not to deal with such attitudes. Can't there be special treatment for special circumstances? I believe such people are rare, but this one incident definitely ruined our vacation to some extent. The bus driver who dropped us off in the morning was excellent. Faced with the same issue, he let us on the bus and even said that these things sometimes happen, proving how different people can be. Now, about the hotel: it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station, so it would be more suitable if you're driving. The internal facilities are decent; the well-equipped kitchen was my favorite part. However, one toilet wouldn't flush, the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, and the soundproofing was poor, likely due to it being a wooden building. The hotel has a pool, an internal shop, and a restaurant. The surroundings are quite isolated, with nothing to do nearby besides farmland and residential areas. The front desk staff provided excellent service.

DenysBWe arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels.
On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells.
On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water.
There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all.
The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems.
The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door.
The tourist tax is €3 per person per day.
We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite.
Thank you so much. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again. ❤️

I like the room and the service provided like I need to open alcohol bottle. The staff is very helpful and finish it in short time but the toilet sink was blocked and I could handle it.
