Hotel suite. Comfort stay near port Labuan Bajo. Hotel located in the heart of Labuan Bajo, offering comfortable accommodation for travellers exploring the Komodo region. The hotel features spacious rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms and contemporary amenities, designed for a smooth and relaxing stay. Guests benefit from free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, private check-in and check-out services, and daily housekeeping. Additional facilities such as an elevator, luggage storage and concierge support help ensure a convenient and well-organised experience throughout the stay. Ideally located within walking distance of Wae Rana Beach and a short drive from Komodo International Airport, Komodo Suites Downtown is well suited for couples and travellers seeking comfort, reliable hotel services and easy access to Komodo National Park and local attractions.

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Komodo. Accommodation in Komodo is generally overpriced, and most rooms on the main street are small, making it cramped for two people and offering no good views. This hotel, however, is built halfway up a hill, and you can walk uphill to reach the best-rated local restaurants. From the balcony, you get an amazing panoramic view of the entire sea and town. The guest rooms are spacious, perfect for two people without feeling cramped. The bed and sofa were much more comfortable than expected. The room also came with three large bottles of water, enough for daily drinking and washing. Overall, the stay significantly enhanced our trip, making it a top choice. The only minor drawback is that due to the local water quality, the shower water had a slightly salty taste."

AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach

Amazing

Let's start with the positives. The hotel is perched on a hillside overlooking the sea, offering a fantastic location. Our deluxe sea-view room also had an excellent view directly of the ocean, as shown in the photo taken with my Fuji – stunning! Now, for the objective downsides. On the day we arrived, our flight from Bali to Komodo landed at 1 PM. Hotel check-in time is 3 PM, and we had booked an Ayana sunset cruise for 4 PM. So, a week before our trip, I emailed the hotel via Trip.com requesting an early check-in by 1 hour, perhaps at 2 PM, so we could shower and relax. However, upon check-in, the hotel informed us there were no rooms available for early check-in and that they hadn't received any notification, stating that Trip.com's email address was invalid... It was a big misunderstanding. The hotel's initial attitude wasn't great; they felt they weren't obligated to arrange an early check-in, suggesting that checking in at 3 PM would still leave enough time for a 4 PM cruise. 😂 In the end, after I firmly insisted, they finally arranged a check-in for 2:30 PM! Thankfully, the sunset cruise was a lot of fun, and the subsequent service was all good. For anyone needing an early check-in, I recommend calling the hotel directly, as emails seem to go astray.

I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club. I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask.

Let me jot down my thoughts on this unforgettable hotel, Katamaran. We initially wanted to book Ayana, but it was full, so we settled for Katamaran as a second choice – and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! First, the location. It's only a few minutes' drive from Ayana and shares the same beautiful ocean views. Plus, this hotel has fewer rooms but more spacious layouts, and all rooms face the sea directly. Now, onto the food. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything tastes delicious. I especially loved the cliffside restaurant; enjoying amazing food while watching the sunset over the sea was pure bliss. The hotel also offers many activities like kayaking, yoga, snorkeling, and sunset trekking (though they all come with a fee). The best part is that if you want to go island hopping, you can book the hotel's speedboat directly, departing from their private pier, which is incredibly convenient [strong]. I've collected my fill of sea breezes and sunsets. Can't wait to visit again! [celebrate]

Extremely satisfied with this resort! The hotel itself isn't huge, but the environment is fantastic. You can shore dive directly from the jetty, and there are tons of fish and large coral reefs! Snorkeling gear is provided. The service is also excellent; the laundry service is super fast and reasonably priced. The bathroom is open-air, but it's not an issue at all. The restaurant prices are a bit high, but the drinks are good, and they can even be delivered to your beach chair. Enjoying the sea breeze at night is incredibly comfortable!

Our stay in the Mountain View cabin with private pool was amazing. Awesome view from the room across to the balcony and pool. It was very relaxing to just keep cool in the pool and/or having breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the view. The room, shower etc were spacious and clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. I’ll be coming back to stay in this room again.

The double room and its en-suite bathroom at this hotel are quite spacious, offering a comfortable environment. However, there was an issue with insufficient hot water supply at night, which could affect the showering experience. The air conditioning's cooling performance was poor, and it produced a lot of noise when running, somewhat impacting the room's peacefulness. On the positive side, the in-room facilities are well-appointed, and the hotel's service is very attentive, promptly meeting guests' needs. Additionally, the hotel does not have an elevator, so guests with heavy luggage will need staff assistance for carrying it, which is a slight inconvenience for travel convenience.

Overall, this is a unique and memorable accommodation with a beautiful view, a cozy room, and genuinely friendly staff. One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.

The room was really spacious and even had a balcony! It's super close to the airport and just around the corner from the main street. Out of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in Indonesia, this was definitely our favorite hotel! They cleaned our room every day, and the front desk staff always greeted us with a smile. When everyone you meet is smiling, it's impossible to be in a bad mood, right?! Hahahaha, I didn't take any hotel photos, only pictures of the beautiful Komodo scenery.

I was so satisfied that I stayed for two nights. Overall, everything was great. I lost my room card, and the staff even helped me look for it, although we didn't find it. The breakfast provided was also delicious and very satisfying.

Nice, big room with the terrace and bathroom ( hot shower), Breakfast included with the booking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed on 3 separate occasions and left our lagguage with no issue. We asked for hot water every day which was delivered to room. Very good place to stay for the price in Labuan Bajo.
