Laprima Hotel ★★★★
"The view from the room was pretty good. The room facilities were quite basic, but that's acceptable for an island in Komodo, and it was good value for money. It was also clean and tidy. My only minor complaint is that I couldn't change the shower filter, so I wasn't sure about the water quality."
Loccal Collection Hotel Komodo ★★★★
"The hotel rooms were rather old and the cleanliness was average. The hotel location was good, with a night market nearby and very beautiful scenery outside."
Dejavu 2.0 Hotel Labuan Bajo Komodo ★★★
"I have to give this hotel a thumbs-up. I came to Komodo to dive, and I was absolutely delighted with the hotel's location! Mixue Ice City is downstairs, and there are many dive shops across the street. Turn left and walk 20 meters to an ATM. Across from the ATM is a local travel agency where you can book day trips. Another 50 meters to the pier, another 20 meters to KFC and Starbucks, and a little further is the seafood street. Turn right and walk 100 meters to find many delicious restaurants, massage parlors, and supermarkets. My favorite ice cream shop is only about 50 meters from the hotel. The location is simply perfect. My half-day trips, day trips, and fundive events all meet at the pier. It's a 150-meter, three-minute walk. After a day of traveling, I can get right off the boat and be right at the hotel. 🥹 It's so convenient. I saw some comments saying it's noisy at night because of the bar. I stayed on the second floor and didn't hear a thing. The hotel staff was very welcoming. I arrived at 11:00 PM, thinking I wouldn't be able to check in until 2:00 PM, but they told me I could check in right away. 🥹🥹 Super lucky! One downside, however, was that the sheets weren't very clean. We brought disposable bed linens with us. Anyone booking this hotel might want to take note. I rarely give hotels positive reviews, but the location of this hotel is simply amazing. Hahaha. If you're going diving, definitely choose this hotel! I'll definitely consider this hotel next time I visit."
Sylvia Hotel & Resort Komodo ★★★★
"The room was pretty good, but the breakfast wasn't great. We had to take a taxi every time we wanted to eat, and it cost 100K each trip. If you're traveling in a group, it might be better to stay in town, near the pier, as it's more convenient for dining."
Zasgo Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is very centrally located, and from my balcony I was able to enjoy an exceptional view of the harbour, accompanied by a stunning sunset that I will never forget. Although the hotel is not particularly new, the service was excellent throughout my stay. Rooms are kept in pristine conditions, and are provided with all amenities you need. At street level there is a convenient minimart with an ATM, as well as a few shops within the same building. The restaurant also offers barbecue options at very reasonable prices. In addition, the swimming pool was remarkably clean and cosy, featuring another spectacular view over the harbour. I only spent one night there, but it is definitely an experience I will always remember."
Seaesta Komodo Hostel & Hotel ★★★★
"This hostel is so comfort for even stay at the hostel but the fasiliti like a hotel too.recommended and will repeat again."
Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo ★★★★★
"The room was spacious and new. The sofa was big enough for my child to sleep on, so we didn't need an extra bed. Getting a taxi to town was also very convenient, and the breakfast was abundant. We had a few lunches and dinners at the hotel, which were also good. It was so relaxing to just lie back and enjoy the sea breeze."
East Marina Guesthouse ★★★
"Overall, it was good. It was relatively new and very clean. After checking out, I saw that the cleaning staff had even wiped the balcony door clean. The staff were also very friendly, proactively asking if I needed any help. The only drawback was the inconvenience of finding places to eat. Their chef's cooking was really bad, and even the drinks were unpleasant to me. Aside from the food, everything else was quite good."
Harbour Komodo Hotel ★★★
"Nice location, very near to the harbour. The bed is clean and TV with Netflix accessibility is great. One night stay for going out the sea the next day is acceptable."
Choose the Perfect Komodo Stay for Your Travel Needs
Sudamala Resort, Komodo, Labuan Bajo
"This was one of my favorite hotels in Indonesia! I paid extra to upgrade to a private pool villa, and the experience was superb. Absolutely no mosquitoes, and everything, both inside and out, was spotless. The service was excellent. Watching the sunset from the hotel's beach was also beautiful. For 1000 a night, the overall value for money was incredible. Such a shame I only stayed one night; I wish I hadn't stayed at Ayana instead!"
Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo by IHG
"Very close to the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the hotel itself is new and spotless, making you feel right at home. I particularly liked a tall, slender manager who had an incredibly bright smile."
Plataran Komodo Resort & Spa
"My stay on Komodo Island, Indonesia, far exceeded my expectations, and can be summed up as a perfect blend of nature and human touch. Here's a breakdown across four aspects: environment, service, details, and activities. **1. Environment: A Hidden Tropical Paradise** The hotel is nestled along the coast of Komodo Island, boasting a private beach with crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand. The entire resort is enveloped by lush tropical vegetation, meticulously preserving its original ecological landscape. Guest rooms and public areas are thoughtfully spaced, ensuring absolute tranquility – day and night, you'll only hear the gentle lapping of waves and the chirping of birds, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. **2. Service: Attentive and Welcoming, Making You Feel at Home** The hotel provides a dedicated butler team for each guest. We were looked after by our room butler, Mr. Daniel, and his team throughout our stay. They maintained instant communication via a WhatsApp group (WA group), responding swiftly to everything from itinerary suggestions to daily requests. What truly touched me was when I experienced sudden abdominal pain; my butler proactively inquired and quickly brought medication, a level of care that went far beyond standard service. Upon check-in, welcome drinks, a special fruit platter, and complimentary mini-bar beverages were already prepared. At check-out, we even received handmade cookies as a travel snack – these thoughtful details highlight the hotel's meticulous care for its guests. **3. Activity Experience: Rich, Diverse, and Full of Rituals** The hotel organizes various activities daily: - **Ocean Exploration**: Snorkeling and boat trips are led by professional instructors, allowing guests to explore coral reefs and tropical fish directly in the hotel's waters. - **Signature Dining**: Sunrise breakfasts and sunset dinners combine gourmet food with natural scenery, creating a romantic ambiance. - **Cultural Experience**: Evening traditional dance performances vividly showcase Indonesia's cultural charm. - **Environmental Action**: Most unexpectedly, the hotel plants a tree in Bali in the guest's name and provides a photo, giving the trip a meaningful, sustainable dimension. **4. Overall Impression** From the quick check-in upon arrival and daily butler follow-ups to the seamless check-out process, there was no unnecessary waiting throughout our stay. The hotel infuses a human touch into a luxurious vacation – offering both the secluded feel of a private beach and the sense of belonging fostered by the enthusiastic team. A special thank you to Butler Daniel for his meticulous arrangements, which made this Komodo trip not only comfortable but also a memorable experience with a story to tell. As of now, this is truly the benchmark for island resort holidays in Komodo."
AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach
"We stayed for 3 nights, and the hotel's views were absolutely stunning! The room was very comfortable, and the Southeast Asian restaurant by the pool had delicious food at reasonable prices. The front desk can help arrange taxis if you want to go out. We tried a local seafood stall once but never went back because the environment was so poor. After that, we just ate at the hotel, and we never got tired of it. The breakfast was also incredibly rich, with many local specialty dishes. The restaurant opens at 6:30 AM for breakfast, but if you need to leave early, you can pre-order a breakfast box to take with you, which is very convenient. Highly recommend!"
Tahoma Villas Labuan Bajo by ABM
"I liked the hotel, very beautiful territory and very quiet. It is far from the city, but the bike solves this problem. Two types of breakfast are offered - Indonesian and continental. Take the Indonesian, it is very tasty and filling, but I did not like the continental at all - just a cold omelet and a piece of bread without standard jam and fruit. There is a comfortable gazebo near the pool where you can lie down, but unfortunately there is only one, so if it is occupied, then there is nowhere to relax near the pool, there are no sun loungers, etc."
Pavilla Labuan Bajo
"This is a business district, so it's not entirely quiet. Prayers start at 5 AM. However, it's close to the airport and other attractions are easily accessible. There was also a faint ventilation smell in my room (Room P3). Overall, it's fine for 2-3 nights. The staff were polite."
Theodor at Labuan Bajo
"Our experience was very good, the owner of the hotel received us and was extremely gentle. He helped us to get a moto very fast (about 20 minutes), he even packed our breakfast very early for the next day because we were going out to a tour. Next day we took breakfast at the hotel and was better than expected. Thank you for everything!"
Diamond Hill Villa
"They'll ask if you need a taxi as soon as you arrive, then try to rip you off. All they care about is making money off Chinese people. And what about their attitude towards Chinese people? The swimming pool is full of green sediment; it was cleaned once, but it's still there."
TRIPLE 888 SUITES
"Highly recommend this hotel!! Nice location with large space room. Bed is clean and storage enough for us to put our luggage and things. Small kitchen with some bowls and cutlery is good. Walking distance to some restaurants for our dinner as well. Just the TV no Netflix, only local channels and few US movie channel."
Eco Tree O'Tel
"The hotel has a fantastic location with an amazing view at its restaurant. The room was clean and spacious. Shower worked well. The complimentary coffee and tea were 24hrs available. I did not have any problems with mosquitoes probably due to the hard working cute geckos. The staff were warm, smiling faces everywhere. But unfortunately they were young to handle the noise situation. Due to action filled tours and activities quality sleep was importan, however this was not considered by the staff as they carried on with their laughter and the repair works being conducted at odd hours like 7am. I would definitely recommend the hotel but as a friendly advice to the management, your sound insulation is poor so you have to train youe staff accordingly. Thank you for the wonderful time."
Menjaga Bay
"One of the best hotels I experienced, beautiful, well decorated, excellent food and not expensive for the quality, remote but with lots of activities available. The staff was amazing. i strongly recommend this little gem"
The Jayakarta Suites Komodo Flores
"The electrical outlets were extremely loose. The room facilities were incredibly old, almost 30 years old. Environment: The environment of the hotel's public areas was quite different from what was advertised online. Although there was a beach right outside, the seawater was completely black. There weren't even any benches or anything on the beach. Service: The service was generally so-so, typical of other hotels. This hotel is far from the city center. If you want to go to town, you have to wait for the hotel's daily shuttle bus from 6 PM to 9 PM. Otherwise, getting to town is very inconvenient. There's nothing around the hotel—no convenience stores, no restaurants, and you can only order takeout. The hotel has a restaurant, but everything is extremely expensive; a plate of fried rice usually costs around 70 or 80 yuan. Also, the hotel breakfast was particularly bad, consisting of very strange and unusual items that didn't look fresh."
