Hotels with balcony in Athens

MiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's. Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels. The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild. They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc. MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world. The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

First of all, it is good: there are about 10 rooms on the third floor of an apartment, the location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the surrounding environment is good. Our room is also very large. The staff is enthusiastic. Then say bad: because the phone can only receive the door password at 15:00, it is not possible to enter the apartment before, so it is impossible to store your luggage when you check in or leave the store! Be sure to pay attention to this problem. In addition, we were three people staying. Every night, when the third person took a bath, there was no hot water. It was the same for three consecutive days. We stayed for three nights. Finally, I need to correct the error. The fifth picture is from the official website. In fact, it has nothing to do with this apartment! Before I went, I thought this was the apartment I would stay in.

I stayed there in February 2026. It's in a perfect location for visiting the Acropolis. I knew from reviews that the facilities were a bit old, but it was perfectly acceptable. Above all, the cost performance was excellent. I also appreciated that slippers were provided. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so I had no problems during my stay. I didn't go to the rooftop bar, but the view looked great.

Quite modern entrance hall and room (bathroom for disabled was not our choice). Reception friendly and provided good recommendation for late dinner. The first morning I woke up by very loud cleaning personnel. Walls are paper thin and door not soundproof. You hear everything. Breakfast terrace with nice view. Pool terrace too small and only available for some hours if slot pre-booked. Music, food and shisha on the rooftop club/restaurant quite okay.

I was so excited to learn the Attalos hotel is very central to everything! The front desk was very attentive and gave me lots of information about this fabulous area in Athens. I got some delicious breakfast up the block. I perchased a warm jacket for 10eu. In a second hand store. Goodwill Greco style! Im always cold. Even in 70 ‘ temp. Florida aclimated lol I’m here alone meeting friends. I feel very safe and would recommend it to anyone who is solo! Kali Taxidi! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

So, I am very thankful of Bedbox's existence because it really made my trip possible. Earning Southeast Asian's currency with a big ambition to travel on Euro, it wasn't exactly easy to find a good place to stay. I had stayed there for about a week and got to visit all the museums and historical places that I've dreamed about. It was GREAT. However, I do have a few complaints. I feel a bit bad about ranting about them but I believe that the place can do much better if they are willing to make some changes. First, the bathroom situation wasn't the best. For the female's floor, the hair on the drain was not cleared even after the housekeepers had stopped by. The sink was clogged up for a whole day with disgusting tissues swimming around in it. I didn't feel comfortable stepping on the floor sometimes. The bathroom stalls were so small that it was impossible to keep your clothes and towels dry. They had exactly ONE plug point near the bed. ONE. I've stayed in plenty of hostels and dorms, but never one with just one plug point and no USB charging port in sight. We all own more than one devices nowadays (powerbank, phone, airpods, apple watch, laptop ...) and I had to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure that everything's charged for my next day out. Many of their furnitures such as the bed frames, lockers, and tables were rusty. The beanbags's coverings in the public resting area on the second floor weren't washed for ages and they stank. All these shortcomings were slightly forgivable because of their hospitality in the hostel. All the staffs that I've met at the place were absolute angels. They tried their best to accommodate their guests' needs. They were polite, soft-spoken, and gentle. The location is also very ideal, near the market with some authentic local food and excellent fresh meat and vegetables if you plan to make your own meals in their kitchen. It is near a lot museums and historical places, even if you want to avoid using any public transportation it is absolutely walkable. If you want to take the metro, it is only a few minutes walk away. Overall, I was so thankful of the place but also couldn't wait to leave by the end of my stay. It was a mixed bag and you should choose your accommodation based on your priorities.

The hotel was clean, with with excellent service. Just a little far from the main centre for walking on hot days. - about 30 minutes, but fine in cooler weather. However, only a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop & taxis were not expensive, about €7.

I traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!

It was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind. However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts. And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well. But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
