ERMASS Athens

This is a great serviced apartment-hotel. The facilities are new, you can cook, and the space is large and clean. The location is excellent, within walking distance to nearby attractions. Highly recommended, though the price is a bit on the higher side.

The room was great – spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable stay. It's also conveniently located near the metro station, just a few minutes' walk away. Nearby, there's a century-old yogurt shop called Stani, and their walnut honey yogurt is delicious. The only downsides were the small front desk and the rather unassuming entrance. The surrounding buildings also looked a bit run-down, making the immediate area feel a bit shabby. However, I found Athens as a whole to be quite old and a bit like a large county town, not very European at all. The food also had a distinct Middle Eastern flair.

Everything about the hotel was great. The hygiene was good, the front desk was always staffed, and the facilities were excellent and new. The only issue was the neighborhood; around dusk, there were a lot of suspicious-looking people near the city center, which is a major safety concern in Athens due to serious theft and robbery. However, as long as you're careful and return before dark, it's fine. I really liked the hotel itself. There's also a beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views.

The front desk staff, Thanes, was really nice and helped me check in quickly. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. I had a pleasant two-night stay, thank you very much! 😊
