Ginza/Tsukiji/Shinbashi Tokyo|0.49km from downtown
The hotel's location is excellent. It's a ten-minute walk from Shimbashi subway station and a five-minute walk to Ginza. Downstairs, there are Lawson, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven convenience stores. Shimbashi subway station is incredibly convenient, with direct subway lines to Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, and Kamakura. Getting to Disney is also easy, requiring just one transfer at Tokyo Station.

The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent; you could walk to the entire Ginza shopping district. There's a popular ramen place nearby that wasn't very good, but a Yakiniku restaurant called Jojoen (not the one on the Mitsukoshi building) was incredibly delicious. You won't have to worry about food or drinks staying here. The Asakusa Line downstairs goes straight to Narita Airport (if you're not good with transfers, just allow two hours for the trip). I would definitely choose Mitsui Garden again next time I visit.

A very satisfying hotel overall. While the transportation isn't the most convenient, they offer a shuttle bus to the JR station three times an hour, which we used daily and found quite convenient. For the return trip, it's a short walk or you can take the U-line. We were upgraded to a room on the 22nd floor with a beautiful view. The room isn't old at all, and personally, I think it's better than the Hilton.

Love everything about the hotel, great location especially family with kids, we stayed for our first 3 Nights in Tokyo. Off to Hakuba - Sapporo and back to Tokyo in 2.5 weeks and we will be staying at Tokyo Dome Hotel again. The other best thing is they let us to leave our luggage so we don’t have to carry it everywhere we go. Amazing services! highly recommended!

Great hotel in a quiet part of Ginza . The room is spacious and all the staff is super nice , especially the uncle outside the hotel who always greets you with the biggest smile . The only thing this hotel needs to improve is the breakfast … the coffee machine is old and leaky and the food is cold and not super tasty given the amazing food you can get outside . Would stay again next time I am in Tokyo.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi/Akihabara/Kinshicho Tokyo|1.32km from downtown
Love the hotel! The location is perfect, locate just accross the road from Tokyo station which is one of main station that can access to both JR lines and Metro lines. We took Airport limousine bus from Haneda to Tokyo station, so it was easy to take all all luggages to the hotel. It's also possible to walk to/from Tokyo station without acrossing the road, by walking through Yaesu underground shopping mall (but this way has no escalator). Room are clean and nicely equipped, they provide 1 universal dapter on the desk, but there's also USB-C socket on each bed headboard. Room space is considering big for Tokyo, we can open 2 suitcase at the same time. There's free drink for guests in lobby area until midnight. For breakfast, we can choose an option between breakfast in the hotel or exchange with 500JPY coupon for nearby shopping mall. All staff that we met are helpful and could communicate very well in English, one staff provide me a Tokyo station map with explanation note how to easily find a way in the station when I approach then to ask for help. For sure we'd would prefer to stay in this hotel again for our next trip in Tokyo!

Shinagawa Tokyo|5.46km from downtown
My check-in experience was quite bad. Even though there were staff at the front desk and other guests were queuing, I was specifically told to use the self-service machine, which was very difficult to operate. The staff member guiding me on how to use the machine also had a very unhelpful attitude, giving unclear instructions. In the end, I wasted 15 minutes and still had to go to the front desk to sort it out. The location is convenient, right opposite Shinagawa Station, perfect for those with large luggage as you can find the hotel as soon as you exit the station. It's also a transport hub, making it easy to get to many tourist attractions. The room was a bit small, but it was clean, and they cleaned it every day. The best part is the hotel restaurant downstairs. With your check-in info/room card, you get a discount on a set menu, which was ¥4500 yen instead of the original ¥5500 yen. There's a 7-11 convenience store downstairs, some duty-free shops, and I think even a CPD store. It's good for picking up some last-minute souvenirs, but the airport probably has better options.

Akasaka Tokyo|2.21km from downtown
Room and bed were very comfortable, immaculately clean and modern. 2 mins walk from train station, if you need lift access to train then a 6 mins walk, we had a stroller. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, we went during Christmas, very busy! But tables were spacious so even though there were so many people you don’t feel cramped. Good variety of food selection. We had dinner at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Delicious, especially the tuna salad. I found the lobby staff a little lack of personality, at check in, no mentioning of where breakfast will be, what time check out is. Just checked you in and that’s it, no personal notes in the room. When I expressed I’ve lost my phone at the shop in Tokyo, no sign of empathy (it was a western male staff) no gesture of helpfulness, very cold and robotic. This goes for concierge also, he is an older western gentleman, he needs to use Google translate also which is frustrating cause I could do exactly the same research with Google translate. Overall, hardware is solid, need to fine tune the staff, sprinkle a little bit of personality in them.

This is an excellent choice that we made in this visit to Tokyo. The hotel is located in a quiet but super convenient place. The train station is just 2 minutes walk and you can easily reach Tokyo station or Disney Land within 10 minutes. The Keiyo line there connects with Hibiya line that you can go to other places such as Ginza, Ueno,... without transferring in Tokyo Station. The supermarket is just next to the station. Familymart is just downstairs, and Ministop or 7/11 are just around there. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the laundry machines - they are supergood - the best I've ever experienced so far in Japan's hotels. I will definitely re-book for my next visit to Japan in the future.

This hotel is perfectly located right next to Shibuya Station and Shibuya Sky, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The staff are warm and courteous. Lying in the bathtub at night, gazing at Tokyo Tower while listening to city pop was a truly wonderful experience. The only minor drawback, which is a common issue in Japan, is that the food isn't quite as good as what you'd find back home; breakfast wasn't particularly delicious. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We have always been an avid traveller and we love five stars hotel. And this trip to Tokyo, we booked for the biggest Aman Suite at Aman Tokyo and we also booked for a few nights in Bvlgari Suite at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo. However the price we paid for Aman is 380,000yen more than our suite in Bvlgari yet the services and experiences we get in Bvlgari is so much better. The staff generally speaks better English, and their butler are way more proactive and confident, perhaps due to language proficiency. Also at Bvlgari they serve daily evening refreshment which they do not have at Aman. Also the breakfast at Bvlgari is 24 hours so we do not have to worry about missing our breakfast hour. We also do not see a lot of differences between the suite type in Aman. Personally we wouldn’t recommend Aman Tokyo to anyone considering there are a lot of better options and five stars hotel around for the price we paid.

I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, facility and service! The subway entrance of Higashi Ginza station is nearly right in front to the hotel front door so you can access to several tourist locations near grey line or deep pink line easily. I realized hotel in Tokyo do not have hotpublic bath but this hotel has one!! You can also check how crowded the bath is from your room through TV monitor. The hotel offers Happy Hour service where you can enjoy free flow of sake, wine, beverages and simple snacks like dried fruits and chips from 5pm to 9pm. Very expensive for what you get. Our room was 12sqm and bathroom 2m x 1m - and the rate was twice the price of our Ginza accommodation which was significantly better and was in the heart of Ginza. There was no water in the room and you had to fill up a water bottle from a dispenser on a different floor, waiting 10min for the lift to arrive The onsen was good and the staff were very very attentive, but unfortunately didn’t make up for how disappointing the room was.

This hotel has a strong Japanese character. Its location behind Senso-ji Temple means the route from the subway station can be a bit inconvenient for travelers with luggage. Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi/Akihabara/Kinshicho Tokyo|1.84km from downtown
Hoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores. The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible. However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business.

Odaiba Tokyo|4.46km from downtown
Cleanliness: No issues. Ambiance: I had a room with a view of Ariake Arena, which was generally nice. The bedroom is right as you enter, so all bedrooms are quite spacious. The bathroom is at the very back. If you don't like the bed being right by the entrance, you might want to avoid this. Also, the bedroom doesn't get much natural light because the bathroom is on the outside with a window (a transparent glass bathroom). Service: If you're coming to the hotel from outside the building, there are absolutely no signs, elevators, or escalators to get to the hotel lobby on the 2nd floor. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs to reach the hotel's main entrance. It's hard to imagine a hotel of this caliber having such an arrangement. Facilities: It's hard to believe that a hotel at this price point and level doesn't come standard with a bathtub. To clarify a misconception: no room in this hotel offers a direct view of Big Sight.

This hotel is truly heartwarming. It's located in Hibiya Park, very close to Shimbashi Station. The lobby on the 18th floor offers expansive views and feels bright and grand. We were given a room on the 27th floor, and we could even spot the tip of Tokyo Tower from our window. The room layout was well-designed and fully equipped, including a Japanese shower/bathtub. Although not huge, there was enough space to open two 24-inch suitcases. The twin beds were both 1.2 meters wide, a bit soft, but very comfortable to sleep on. There were plenty of breakfast options, including sashimi rice bowls, and you could help yourself to soft drinks in the lounge. Most of the guests were Westerners, and the staff's English was fluent, making communication smooth. The service was superb! Since our stay coincided with my daughter's birthday, we received a meticulously handwritten card from the hotel staff! We also got a birthday gift, and all our requests for the room were met. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo.

If 100 is a perfect score, this hotel has its pros and cons. The convenient location and room size both deserve a 90. The shower water pressure and the service from most of the staff are at least an 80. However, you can clearly hear the subway from the room, and even with the small window handle adjusted up or down, the noise persists. During my two-night stay, one night I couldn't fall asleep until the subway stopped running in the middle of the night. The next morning, I was woken up by the noise around 7 AM. I groggily recorded a video, but my phone's microphone near the bed didn't capture it well. The actual sound is about one to two times louder than what's in the video. The room also didn't provide earplugs, which is quite unbearable – I'm deducting 70 points for this. There were noticeable marks on the room walls and the bathroom floor, so I'm taking off another 50 points. The carpet is old and somewhat damaged, and the room looks dingy. For a room that costs over 1500 per night, this warrants another 60-point deduction. So, this is a hotel with overly distinct pros and cons.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's right above Tokyo Station, next to the Marunouchi entrance. This made catching the Shinkansen the next day incredibly convenient, and even chartered cars could pull right up to the entrance. The deluxe room is quite spacious for Tokyo, making it easy to pack and unpack. However, compared to the room size, the bathroom feels a bit cramped, and the sink drains very slowly. The bedding comfort is just average. Perhaps because I didn't request a higher floor when booking, they assigned me the lowest floor (6F), which was a bit disappointing. Since I was only staying briefly, I didn't bother asking the front desk to change it. From the moment I arrived to check-in and luggage delivery, the overall service awareness and attitude were excellent. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and the quality was unremarkable; it didn't leave a lasting impression compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The hotel isn't right next to a subway station, but the shuttle bus service is super convenient, running every 15 minutes to and from Meguro Station. It pretty much covers all your transportation needs. It wasn't until after we checked out that we realized they'd upgraded our room type! It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. There are also many convenience stores and small restaurants nearby, and it's quiet at night when you return. The room, while not large, was very clean and well-arranged. A pleasant surprise was being able to see the Tokyo Skytree from my window; seeing it lit up at night always brightened my mood, which was a nice little bonus. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was better than expected, so I slept soundly. The only minor drawback was the 10 AM check-out time, which felt a bit early and made the morning feel rushed. However, the front desk check-out process was very quick and efficient. We'd already stayed here at the start of our Japan trip (stayed in a twin room) but returned towards the end of our travels and booked two double rooms. They were allocated next to each other, which was just ideal. Space is small, enough room for one person but a couple would struggle, especially with luggage. As a solo occupant, it was really good. Small double bed was super comfortable. We had rooms 720 and 722, which were on the side of the hotel, away from the main road. This made for a quieter stay. Efficient blackout blind. Air conditioning was effective, providing heat when required too. Small refrigerator was useful, alongside decent electric kettle. Large screen TV with some international channels. Bathroom was small but perfectly formed. Fairly spacious shower cubicle, with great pressure and even temperature. Rain forest shower head as well as conventional hose. Typical modern Japanese toilet. Massage chair was welcomed by me personally as I really enjoyed using it at the end of a busy day but appreciate that it did take up valuable space. Location ideal for transport connections, convenience stores, nightlife and restaurants.

This was my first time visiting Tokyo, and I stayed at Agora for five days: 🤵‍♀️ During check-in, although the staff didn't speak Chinese, they provided detailed check-in instructions in Chinese. All the front desk staff I encountered during my stay had excellent attitudes.👍🏻 🧹 The hotel usually cleans rooms every three days. If you need daily cleaning, just put the magnetic sign from your room outside your door before noon on that day. 🛏️ I chose a twin room, and when I opened the door, I found they had pushed two single beds together. The size was decent, and two adults could sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. 📍 The location is excellent. Downstairs, there's a restaurant called Bansuke that serves delicious fried fish ochazuke. Just a short walk away, you'll find FamilyMart, Lawson, and 7-Eleven. There are also drugstores and restaurants at the large intersection outside. 🚇 Higashi-Ginza Station is just around the corner from the hotel entrance, making it very convenient to take the Asakusa Line and Hibiya Line. There's also an express train directly to the airport; just check Google Maps for the schedule. If you prefer to walk to Ginza Station, there's a dedicated underground passage, which is very convenient. 🛍️ If you want to go shopping, most malls are about a 10-minute walk away, and the street is quite lively. 💦 The only downside is that the room is indeed quite small, with barely enough space to lay one suitcase flat. But honestly, for this price, getting such a great location is already very satisfying. The experience was excellent, and I'm grateful to Agora for a wonderful memory of Tokyo.🥰
