Ginza/Tsukiji/Shinbashi Tokyo|0.49km from downtown
The hotel's location is excellent. You can sit in the lobby and enjoy the night view of Tokyo Tower, and it's within walking distance of Ginza for shopping. Plus, there are two FamilyMarts and one 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is super convenient. However, the room was incredibly small. After putting down two suitcases (one large, one small), I couldn't even open the fridge door, and there was hardly any space to move around. The service was subpar. The charging socket by the bed broke at night and couldn't be fixed. They suggested we move to another room of the same type, but it felt like too much hassle, so we didn't. We didn't book a room with breakfast, but we walked in and ate. Later that night, we found a collection letter from the hotel at our door, as if we were going to skip out on the bill? Don't guests usually pay upon check-out? It's not like we didn't pay a deposit. How desperate for money do you have to be to send a collection letter? It was a terrible experience! On the other hand, there wasn't even an apology for the broken charging socket that couldn't be fixed promptly. The service was really bad!

Ginza/Tsukiji/Shinbashi Tokyo|0.18km from downtown
The hotel is right next to Higashi-Ginza subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Major department stores are all nearby, so shopping is a breeze, and there are plenty of dining options, plus convenience stores for picking up breakfast for the next day. If you don't want to drag your luggage onto the crowded subway (it gets incredibly packed), you can take the airport bus to Narita, but you'll need to walk about 10 minutes to the bus stop. The room's price definitely reflects its prime location. However, I wasn't impressed with the toiletries and hairdryer. I'm not sure if the Refa hairdryer was faulty or just designed that way, but it made an extremely harsh, high-pitched noise that left my ears ringing every time I used it. It also dried hair slowly and overheated easily, making it quite unpleasant to use. The shampoo and other bath products were also just average. Overall, I'd still recommend staying here. The location genuinely can't be beat, and despite being on a main street, it wasn't noisy at all.

Tokyo Tower Tokyo|2.04km from downtown
During my last stay, I found a used tissue in the bathrobe pocket. It was late and I was really tired, so I just mentioned it to the duty manager and didn't really press the issue, hoping they would fix it and offer some compensation next time. However, this stay, it was like they completely forgot about their previous mistake. My only request was a late checkout until 1 PM, which they initially refused. I had to get angry and bring up the previous incident before they finally arranged it. The breakfast was another issue. I was prepared to pay full price for it, as the hotel's breakfast really appealed to me. But they insisted my membership had expired and I couldn't get a discount, only for me to discover they had registered the wrong email and membership number… Fine, I guess I'll just save my money and skip breakfast! What should have been a pleasant stay has made me seriously reconsider whether I'll choose this hotel again in the future.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the room and the location was good too. The staff provided excellent service. However, I found the in-room lighting wasn't very functional and the air conditioning wasn't intelligent enough. The shower control was too close to the pipes, making it easy to accidentally get scalded, and there were no warning signs.

Odaiba Tokyo|5.01km from downtown
Good service, but maintenance and consistency could be improved. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. While the overall service and location are good, a few details made the experience fall short of true 5-star standards. Pros: • The washroom is spacious and clean, with strong shower pressure that feels great after a long day out. • The anti-slip mat is a thoughtful touch since the bathtub can get slippery. • Toiletries and body lotion are of decent quality. • The in-room iron is convenient, no need to request one. • The room includes a small balcony and is non-smoking friendly. • The complimentary slippers are comfortable and well-made. • Staff are polite and helpful throughout my stay. Cons: • The bathroom mirror fogs up completely after showering — it would be great if anti-fog mirrors were installed. • My room key card was disabled after the first night, requiring a trip to the front desk for reactivation. • The cupboard doors are old and difficult to open, making noticeable noise. • Breakfast is decent but repetitive. During peak times, guests were directed to a temporary seating area where food wasn’t replenished promptly. • After housekeeping, my used towels were removed but not replaced. • The carpet feels dusty, suggesting it could use a deep clean or refresh. Overall: The staff are courteous and professional, and the basic comfort level is good. However, for a 5-star hotel, the property feels a little dated and service consistency needs improvement. With some attention to maintenance and small operational details, this could easily become a much better experience.

Shinagawa Tokyo|5.46km from downtown
Here as a business traveller. The room design is dated but clean. Breakfast is amazing here. This is a convenient place to stay because shinagawa prince hotel has multiple towers connecting to one and another. Each tower has different shop ie golf simulator, massage, bowling alley etc. 7-11 is right downstairs at annexe tower. This hotel is just a short walk across Shinagawa train station, making this hotel a highly convenient place to access office. Downside is there is no convenient hotel bus pickup from/to Haneda airport. Would be even better if hotel offers this service. Room also has no USB plug since it’s dated design. It’s abit tricky if you plugin UK adapter since the weight would press down and charging process will get interrupted. I had to prop up the weight with something to charge my phone but there is constant sound coming from the plug. There’s not much to tour around in shinagawa area if you are here for leisure. Better to take JR line to Ginza as tourist. Would consider staying at different tower if I need to be back here again.

Location: Exiting Shibuya station, there's ongoing construction, so you might need a moment to find your bearings, but it's not difficult to locate, situated directly opposite Tokyo Plaza. Facilities: The hotel is very modern, featuring a spacious lobby and relatively new room amenities. It comes equipped with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries, and as a delightful surprise, we also received an SK-II morning and evening skincare sample set upon check-in. Environment: The view from the window is absolutely stunning, both by day and night. I snapped a quick photo, and it honestly looks like a perfect backdrop for a blogger's video – haha! Service: The front desk check-in service was excellent. However, for a hotel of this standard, the breakfast quality felt a bit basic, with limited options. Coffee and tea had to be brought by staff – I'm not sure if that was meant to make guests feel more pampered or exclusive. Overall, the breakfast was just average, but everything else was great.

Excellent stay! The lobby staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in. Our room was spacious, bright, and very clean. We especially loved the large TV with 4K dedicated channels, offering vivid and vibrant picture quality. The shower had advanced facilities with great water pressure, and both the air conditioning and air purifier worked wonderfully. It's also nice to have the option to open the windows for fresh air. The washing machine and microwave were very practical. The complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was a perfect start to our mornings. A special shout-out to one of the Shanghai-born staff members, who was very diligent and responsible. The hotel is conveniently located: if you're coming from JR Shinjuku Station East Plaza exit, walk east towards Isetan, and once you see the LV store, the hotel is just 100 meters away. For the Toei Subway, Shinjuku-sanchome C3 and C4 exits are the closest. Shopping and dining options are all within 100 meters, and there's a 7-Eleven supermarket right downstairs. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Environment: The room was spacious and the location was excellent. Facilities: The bathtub was very comfortable for a soak, and the turndown service even provided bath salts. Service: The service was superb, and I particularly want to mention this: During check-in, I had a brief conversation with the lobby manager, Asaki Yoshiuchi, where I casually shared some personal interests. To my delightful surprise, on the day of check-out, I received a handwritten letter from this manager! The letter included a specially drawn illustration that cleverly combined elements of the interests we had previously discussed. He not only remembered our casual conversation but also took the time and effort to transform it into a personalized and thoughtful souvenir. You can truly feel the hotel's sincerity and dedication.

Facilities: I really enjoyed the European-style decor; the hotel is exceptionally well-managed and maintained. The ground floor cafe is a lovely spot for afternoon tea. Cleanliness: Housekeeping is thorough – just remember to put out the 'Please make up room' sign before you head out each day. Ambiance: The 32sqm room was spacious and comfortable, never felt crowded. Service: Upon arrival, the front desk staff immediately offered a wet wipe, which was a very thoughtful touch. They were always smiling and polite, and even delivered my luggage to the room. Breakfast: The breakfast on the 2nd floor was mediocre, but the buffet in the basement (B1) with both Western and Japanese options was quite satisfactory. Transportation: The hotel has a direct underground connection to Shimbashi Subway Station, which is incredibly handy when you're lugging suitcases. Shimbashi is a major transportation hub, offering extremely convenient access to the Yurikamome Line, Shinkansen, and various subway lines, making it perfect for shopping in Ginza and beyond. Location: Additionally, there are numerous convenience stores, pharmacies, food streets, and a lively bar street nearby, making it super convenient for late-night snacks and shopping. This was my second stay at the station hotel, and it's incredibly convenient for transit. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, you can walk towards the Marunouchi South Exit where a small door directly accesses the hotel, so you don't even need to go outside. This time, I booked the hotel's basic 36-square-meter room. The room had a peculiar smell, which I suspect might have been due to the humidity during the rainy season, making my stay feel uncomfortable. The room's location wasn't ideal either; it overlooked some equipment with absolutely no view. The 40-square-meter room type I stayed in before was much better. However, the hotel service and breakfast were, as always, excellent.

Honestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor. Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water. Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily. The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip. Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away. The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. My stay at VIA INN PRIME Nihonbashi Ningyocho was quite good overall. The location is very convenient, close to Ningyocho Station, making it easy to get to Tokyo Station, Ginza, and Ueno. There are also many convenience stores and small restaurants nearby, and it's quiet at night when you return. The room, while not large, was very clean and well-arranged. A pleasant surprise was being able to see the Tokyo Skytree from my window; seeing it lit up at night always brightened my mood, which was a nice little bonus. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was better than expected, so I slept soundly. The only minor drawback was the 10 AM check-out time, which felt a bit early and made the morning feel rushed. However, the front desk check-out process was very quick and efficient. Overall, it's a practical and hassle-free hotel to stay in, with a great location and good value for money. This was my first time visiting Tokyo, and I stayed at Agora for five days: 🤵‍♀️ During check-in, although the staff didn't speak Chinese, they provided detailed check-in instructions in Chinese. All the front desk staff I encountered during my stay had excellent attitudes.👍🏻 🧹 The hotel usually cleans rooms every three days. If you need daily cleaning, just put the magnetic sign from your room outside your door before noon on that day. 🛏️ I chose a twin room, and when I opened the door, I found they had pushed two single beds together. The size was decent, and two adults could sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. 📍 The location is excellent. Downstairs, there's a restaurant called Bansuke that serves delicious fried fish ochazuke. Just a short walk away, you'll find FamilyMart, Lawson, and 7-Eleven. There are also drugstores and restaurants at the large intersection outside. 🚇 Higashi-Ginza Station is just around the corner from the hotel entrance, making it very convenient to take the Asakusa Line and Hibiya Line. There's also an express train directly to the airport; just check Google Maps for the schedule. If you prefer to walk to Ginza Station, there's a dedicated underground passage, which is very convenient. 🛍️ If you want to go shopping, most malls are about a 10-minute walk away, and the street is quite lively. 💦 The only downside is that the room is indeed quite small, with barely enough space to lay one suitcase flat. But honestly, for this price, getting such a great location is already very satisfying. The experience was excellent, and I'm grateful to Agora for a wonderful memory of Tokyo.🥰

A very large, traditional western styled hotel in Akasakamitsuke, which is close to some historical government buildings. Quiet surroundings but not immediately next to a neighborhoody type area. Just business buildings. But Shibuya and Harajuku are a couple subway stops away, about 20 min. Beautiful Japanese garden, and the rooms are fairly large. I liked its retro type feel. And the prices is reasonable compared to other large hotels as Okura or Hyatt. I also stayed at the Hyatt and I much preferred its full service and well trained staff.
