Macau to Zhuhai: Crossing the Border on Foot
Walking across the border is the easiest and most popular option. Simply head to Macau's Border Gate (Portas do Cerco) by public bus, taxi, or hotel shuttle bus. After clearing Macau immigration, you'll walk directly into Zhuhai through Gongbei Port.

This is my second time visiting Chimelong Zhuhai, and since my main purpose this trip was to see the killer whales at the Spaceship Park, I booked a stay at the Spaceship Hotel. Overall, it's not the most impressive hotel in the Chimelong series, but it still maintains the standard quality you'd expect from Chimelong.
Room Facilities:
The front desk upgraded us to a Moon Exploration King Room. The room size was moderate, perhaps a bit smaller than the room we stayed in at Chimelong Qingyuan, but overall, it was comfortable. The facilities looked well-maintained and new, with vibrant colors that are kid-friendly.
Value for Money:
The package deal (scenic spot + hotel) was slightly more expensive than at Chimelong Qingyuan, but the price felt acceptable, especially considering the excellent tourist facilities and service quality at Chimelong.
Breakfast:
My expectations were high, but I was a little disappointed. Perhaps the breakfast variety at the Chimelong Qingyuan hotel was just too extensive, as the selection here at the Spaceship Hotel felt somewhat limited. However, the quality of the breakfast was still very good.
Wi-Fi:
Fast and stable signal.
Bed:
Neither too soft nor too hard, very comfortable.
Restaurant:
We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the top floor, and it was a great experience, much better than at Chimelong Qingyuan, and the service quality was also superior.
Cleanliness:
Exceeded expectations; it was extremely clean and tidy.
Parking:
You can park directly in the underground parking lot. During the off-peak season, there were plenty of available spaces.
Room View:
From the room, you can directly see the roof of the Spaceship Park, offering an expansive view.
Location and Transportation:
This is something Chimelong excels at; each park is tightly integrated with its respective hotel. You can access the park directly from the hotel by just going downstairs, which is incredibly convenient.
Service:
Overall good, though the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming; they seemed a bit stone-faced.
Swimming Pool:
There's an infinity pool on the top floor which looked nice, though it's a bit small. Guests can use it for free.
Gym:

🌿 As someone from a mountain village, I came to the city with an artist for a sketching trip, and it was my first time staying in a five-star hotel.
The hotel environment is quite good, blending in with the local culture, which made me feel the romance of Zhuhai and the charm of the Qianshan River.
🪩 The lobby, illuminated by lights at night, was dazzling and colorful. I couldn't resist doing a little dance.
🧹 The room was clean and tidy.
🎩 Most of the hotel staff were warm and polite, especially the young man in the black uniform, wearing glasses, who was responsible for opening car doors – he was exceptionally enthusiastic and courteous. 👻 Only a few staff members were a bit quirky.

The hotel's location is super easy to find, and we got free parking during our stay. It was so nice and convenient to just walk five minutes south from the hotel entrance to reach the beach. We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Zhuhai. The hotel environment is beautiful and relaxing. Although it rained during most of our stay, we still had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here.
One of the highlights was the infinity pool. Swimming there was incredibly comfortable and the view was amazing, creating a truly enjoyable experience.
The service throughout the hotel was excellent. We would especially like to thank Miya at the front desk. She was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. Her warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable.

I've always wanted to stay at the Galaxy Macau, but unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm warning on the day we checked in, so we couldn't enjoy the water activities. It was a bit disappointing. However, staying at Galaxy is incredibly convenient; there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options available. Plus, if you show your Air Macau boarding pass, you can get many discounts and free gifts. It's also super easy to get to the Venetian, Big Ben, and Parisian from here. After a good night's sleep, we could even pop over to Rua do Cunha the next day, which is very close by. What I'll remember most is how incredibly comfortable the beds are at the Galaxy hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, and the service was absolutely fantastic. Truly five-star service! Since we were traveling with kids, they even gave us complimentary 'Toto' slippers, a 'Toto' tent, and a 'Toto' doll for them. My kids were thrilled and said Galaxy was the most fun! ^_^ Haha. Had a fantastic experience! The young man with glasses who checked me in was super nice. He upgraded my room and even sent up fruit and a cake. He also took the time to explain the hotel facilities and resort (I forgot the name of the resort, but the service was excellent). Room 916 was great, and the toiletries were lovely and fragrant. The hotel is centrally located and has a really charming, vintage feel to it, with lots of international guests. The lobby is quite photogenic, especially with the grand staircase and chandelier! The HSKP attendants and room service server are very kind.

After checking in, the front desk upgraded my room. It was a very spacious room, which is excellent value for money in Macau, where space is at a premium. However, the room had a musty smell and the facilities were a bit old, so the overall environment wasn't great. Stayed here with friends, and it was a fantastic experience! 🏨 The ambiance is super elegant, perfect for taking photos. The service was also very attentive; as soon as we walked in, a staff member warmly guided us. The room facilities are very new, and the bedding is so soft, I slept incredibly well. My friends and I had a wonderful time here, and we'll definitely choose this place again when I come with my family next time. We’ve booked this hotel a few times in the past. This is one of our go-to hotels if we want something that is relatively nice yet is not going to break the bank. Luckily those are promotion for this room. Hands-down, the room and the hotel facility is kept up pretty well. Room amenities exceed standards for four-star hotel. One of the perks of staying here is using their indoor pool, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use during our trip. The one bedroom suite it’s relatively spacious. The bedroom feels bigger and it’s nice to have a living room to kick your feet up. Overall, a solid hotel to stay at that isn’t gonna break the bank.FromTRY 1,985

It was our anniversary and Gary at reception offered us a lte check out since we arrived at the hotel quite late. We were also upgraded together with a free red wine as our gift and we were thrilled and we were further offered 2 complimentary breakfast althought we didn't use att the end. I found out that I didn't take my airpods with me at the time when I checked out and we went to lunch. I came back and then 2 receptionists helped me out and called the room to bring it back down even after checkout, I m so pleased by the services Ascott provided me and to us.

Attended a conference at the university next door. It's a very quiet hotel, and public transport and taxis nearby are all convenient. The building itself is quite old, but the cleanliness is excellent. The only downside was the pillows – they were small and soft, not very comfortable. The staff were friendly.
