The hotel's location is excellent, with Macau Polytechnic University, Fisherman's Wharf, the Grand Prix Museum, the Macau Science Center, and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre all within walking distance. There are many great eateries nearby, giving the area a vibrant local feel. The room furnishings match the official photos. It's also not far from other hotels and attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's.

Every time I visit Macau, I stay here. It's great value for money, and the king room's bed is better than the twin room's. The location is very convenient with lots of food options nearby. The hygiene is also excellent, and the shower pressure is good. The facilities are comprehensive. I'll definitely come back next time.

On vacation in Macau, take a bus directly from the Qingmao Port. It was crowded, but orderly. The lobby was grand, but breakfast wasn't as extensive as I'd imagined. The rooftop pool offered a rich city view.

Overall, my stay was mostly satisfactory. I have two suggestions: 1. The bathroom ventilation wasn't very effective, and the airflow in the room was just average. I recommend improving and increasing the exhaust and ventilation facilities. 2. The shower drain is located right in the middle of the floor, which causes dirty water to flow back around your feet while showering. This design is impractical and lacks user-friendliness.

High-end, elegant, and stylish. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and we received a complimentary room upgrade. The facilities are comprehensive, and the room was clean and hygienic. It's very close to the bus station, making transportation convenient. A superb experience with excellent value for money.

Back in '22, I lived in a university dorm at Nam Van, right across from this hotel. This time, a friend was visiting from Hong Kong, and I found the price quite reasonable. Plus, it satisfied a little curiosity I'd had for years, so I chose Rio to host my friend. It was quite nostalgic to spend a night on Rua de Coelho do Amaral again after all this time. The location, first off, is unbeatable. There's an OK convenience store downstairs, and within 100 meters, you'll find San Hou Cheng and 7-Eleven. For dining, entertainment, and shopping in ZAPE (New Port Area), you basically don't have to worry. In terms of transportation, the Oriental Arch station behind the hotel offers convenient access to various areas. Service was standard and without any issues; the staff were quite patient and friendly. The room itself was larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the overall cleanliness could use a small upgrade; some unidentified stains on the wallpaper really detract from the hotel's image. The facilities aren't new; many show clear signs of use and aging. But it was clean and tidy enough, and it didn't affect the normal use of the room's functions. Soundproofing was pretty average; I could clearly hear kids playing in the hallway. The mattress was generally on the firmer side, and personally, I prefer a softer style, but that's a matter of personal preference. Overall, it was a pretty good and pleasant experience. It also fulfilled that little bit of curiosity I had three years ago when I looked at the hotel building from my balcony. I'd choose it again if I have the chance.

We booked theFamily Room, which was an excellent choice for us. The room was spacious and very clean, with plenty of room for all four of us to be comfortable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we all slept soundly in the quiet room. We also appreciated amenities like the separate bath and shower, mini-bar, and free Wi-Fi. RIO Hotel was an outstanding choice for our family trip to Macau. It provided great value, combining the comfort of a clean and roomy base with the ultimate convenience of an easily accessible central location. We highly recommend it to other families visiting the city and would certainly stay here again.

Excellent! Located in the old district of Macau Peninsula, it's convenient for dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping. Personally, I think it offers better value for money than staying in Taipa. From the Gongbei Port, you can take the Sands or Grand Lisboa shuttle bus, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point. For your return journey, you can also take the Sands shuttle back to the Border Gate. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel (bus route 3) that goes to the Ruins of St. Paul's, which is also just over a 1km walk away. The Fisherman's Wharf, Sands, MGM, Wynn, and StarWorld are all within walking distance too. The hotel management staff are polite and humble, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. It's quiet at night, ensuring a good rest. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay. I visit Macau frequently and will definitely stay here again next time.
