Zhuhai Xiangjiang Weike Hotel (Gongbei Port Lovers South Road Branch)

I don't think it quite lives up to a high-end hotel standard, even though Trip.com listed it as such. The service and location are decent though. It's only about a ten-minute taxi ride to the train station and the border crossing, which is very convenient, and there are plenty of dining options right downstairs.

Facilities: The hotel is pretty average, and the lobby is a real letdown. I honestly couldn't even tell where the front desk was tucked away. Definitely not what I'd expect from a four-star hotel. Cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness was decent. Environment: It was okay. Service: The breakfast was unbelievably bad, even worse than what you'd get at a three-star. I have no idea how Trip.com rated this place as four-star. The breakfast options were limited, and frankly, there wasn't much worth eating. This is the first time I've ever left such a negative review for a hotel, even though I frequently stay in Zhuhai. This hotel is really just so-so.

The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside, making it convenient to go anywhere. It's only two bus stops away from the high-speed train station and Gongbei Port. I booked a deluxe room with a large bathtub and a mountain view, facing a residential area, so it was pretty quiet at night! The hotel service was also great; any issues were resolved quickly. Thumbs up!

Traveling to Macao and Chimelong with my family, we decided to stay at the Xiangjiang Vick Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. At this price point, it definitely deserves a 5-star rating! The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's close to Gongbei Port, about a 15-minute walk, or you can take a bus right outside for just two stops, making border crossing to Macao super easy. For Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, I recommend taking a Didi (ride-sharing app), which costs around 30-40 yuan. We spent half a day strolling and digging in the sand by the beach, which was absolutely delightful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel-recommended traditional dim sum place was delicious. Plus, it's only a few minutes' drive to the high-speed train station and Zhuhai Airport terminal, making it perfect whether you're catching a train or a flight. The room layout is well-designed, spacious, and comfortable, and it even has a bathtub – a relaxing soak after a long day was wonderful. The hotel service was also excellent; the housekeeping auntie was kind and friendly, and the front desk staff were great too, even giving us a small gift at check-out. Highly recommend staying here!

Seriously exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely perfect – close to Gongbei Port and the M.O.L.L. Plaza, and right outside there's a bus stop. It's super convenient for shopping, dining, and heading to Macau. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. All the facilities were very well-maintained. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was fast, and any issues were promptly resolved. The cleanliness was especially thorough, making for a worry-free stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The free parking is a huge plus for those driving themselves.
