Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel

How do I put this? We traveled on the weekend before Children's Day, so it was crowded, and the experience wasn't ideal, but you could tell the hotel staff tried their best to manage. First, the pros: for over 1500 RMB, it included the room, unlimited two-day admission to the Spaceship Park and Water World for two people. Both days, we could enter an hour early, which was great for enjoying ourselves. Plus, on the first day, we could activate the tickets ourselves and enter, which was a nice touch! The Spaceship Park had plenty of fun rides and attractions, and the queues weren't too long – the longest wait was about 30-45 minutes, which is acceptable. The Water World staff were very vigilant about safety; they had eyes like hawks, especially for kids who can swim and were with their parents – it felt a bit overly cautious, to be honest. (Overall, good feedback.) We had already spent a full day playing when we checked in, bought the buffet dinner, and even got a room upgrade. The buffet dinner was also very crowded, but the food quality was good, and the staff service was excellent. Two regrets: first, the Water World was too packed, the shower facilities were insufficient, and the drainage was too slow. The entire shower area, I mean the *entire* shower area, was flooded. Second, the upgraded room had a severe air conditioning leak! We couldn't switch rooms because it was so busy, but a maintenance technician arrived quickly and fixed it. Overall, I feel that since the hotel has been operating for many years, some facilities are showing their age and need timely maintenance and updates. All in all, the value for money is good. I'd give the hardware 70 points and the soft service 100 points.

First time staying at a hotel in Zhuhai, just checked out. Time to leave a review. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too hard. The pillows were comfortable. I slept soundly until morning. The WiFi was stable, no buffering when streaming videos. Shower water pressure was consistent, and hot water came on in seconds. The bathtub was pristine. Toiletries had a subtle, pleasant scent. The body lotion was a thoughtful touch. Plenty of amenities for children. The pool water was clear and heated, and there was a lifeguard on duty, which was reassuring. The kids' play area had slides and a ball pit – my child didn't want to leave! Breakfast was extensive, and the freshly made noodles were delicious. The shrimp dumplings in the Chinese restaurant were authentic. The waitstaff proactively brought a high chair for my child. Checkout was simple; just drop the room key card into the express checkout box and go. Very convenient. The parking lot had ample free spaces and was easy to access. The lobby was bright with high ceilings, and the marine-themed decor was lovely. The elevators were responsive, and the corridors were quiet. The room had great natural light and was spacious enough. The air conditioning was cool, and the mini-fridge worked well. The kettle was clean, and the towels were thick. The bathrobes were comfortable. A stroll in the garden was delightful. The gym was well-equipped. It's close to the amusement park, and there are frequent shuttle buses. Great value for money. I'll definitely come back.

The room was spotless with a huge balcony and a spacious bathtub. I really liked that the toilet, shower, and tub were all separate! The kids absolutely loved the hotel's water park; the pool is massive, and they could easily spend the whole day there. We had the buffet dinner, which had a great selection of seafood, and I ate a lot of salmon and steak. There's a direct pathway to the Spaceship Theme Park, which isn't too far to walk, but if you don't feel like walking, there's a free shuttle bus too! In the hotel lobby, kids can take photos with Kakahu and some cosplaying staff, which my children really enjoyed. Overall, it was a great experience!

This hotel exceeded my expectations by far! The front desk even upgraded us to a family room for free. The room was huge, had a balcony, and faced the scenic area, so we could even see fireworks at night! Most importantly, the butler service was excellent! We'll definitely be back next month!!!

Hengqin Bay is definitely the top choice for family vacations! The entire hotel resembles a seaside European palace, with an amazing ocean-themed atmosphere. Upon entering, you're greeted by an exquisite dolphin sculpture, and the flamingo garden offers fantastic photo opportunities. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the bell staff proactively helped with our luggage. The service throughout was thoughtful and polite. We stayed in a sea-view room; the room was spacious and clean, with a separate wet/dry bathroom and stable hot water. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the balcony offered direct sea views – we could even watch the fireworks at night. The room also came equipped with children's toiletries and a bed rail, showing excellent attention to detail for families with kids. The guest benefits are plentiful: free round-trip shuttle buses to Ocean Kingdom, running every few minutes, making transportation incredibly convenient. Guests also get unlimited access to the hotel's heated water park, an indoor, temperature-controlled wonderland that can be enjoyed year-round. The kids' water play area and lazy river kept our little ones entertained all day. You can even take a boat directly to Ocean Kingdom and watch dolphins up close – the dolphin interaction and educational session was an unexpected surprise for the kids. The breakfast buffet was abundant, offering a wide array of Chinese and Western dishes, pastries, seafood, and desserts, all promptly refilled. From housekeeping to the water park staff, everyone provided excellent service. The facilities are comprehensive, and you can eat, stay, and play all in one place. The value for money is superb. We'll definitely choose Hengqin Bay again on our next visit to Chimelong!

Our room was upgraded to a sea-view room for my birthday, and it even had birthday decorations! The view was fantastic; we could see the dolphin enclosure and the endless ocean. The room was also kept very clean, and any requests were promptly attended to. It's also very close to Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park.
