A great place to stay overall. Check-in was fuss-free. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was large and there were 2 pillows of varying hardness. The toilet and shower area was separate and toilet even had a bathtub. Water pressure was good and the hot water came on easily. Amenity kit including toothbrush, toothpaste and shaver was provided at check in. Staff generally made good effort to improve the stay - providing water bottles and a radiator in the room on request. There was some communication difficulty when it came to having parcels left at the concierge though that was eventually sorted out. The hotel had a well equipped gym, a good length heated swimming pool, a hot tub and a sauna, with the facilities available for use till 11pm. Location is convenient, with the nearest metro station less than 10 minutes away.

Second time staying, Hotel location is very near the Tiananmen Square, and its perfect for autumn in Beijing. Rooms are spacious, its a little old, but we are not too fuzzy, breakfast was acceptable but for something that you would go crazy over. Four restaurants are available within the hotel varying from Chinese, seafood hotpot, Japanese and German cuisines. There's a good collection of jade ornaments and art pieces to buy if you have deep pockets. There are many places within the hotel where you could take some awesome photos and also hotel has professional photographers available. We extended our stay for 2 more days and definitely will choose to stay here again. Staffs are very friendly especially the ladies who were at the lobby foyer are cafes, i hope the hotel management recognises their excellent services.

Good location, walking distance from Wangfujing. Excellent stay. Smooth check-in for my prepaid booking (1,000 RMB deposit required). The hotel features beautiful classic decor and spacious rooms. I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Central Beijing. The hotel is stylish and comfortable, but what impressed me most was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special shout‑out to the team who assisted me with ordering food delivery when my phone couldn’t register on the app. They handled everything smoothly and made the whole experience stress-free. Overall, a great stay with excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend Sofitel Central Beijing to anyone visiting the city.

A special thank you to Zhang Jiaxin at the front desk and Deng Shufen, the server, for making us feel so warmly at home, even though we were far from it. Throughout our stay, both were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They responded quickly and efficiently to all our requests. I particularly want to thank Deng Shufen, who not only had a kind attitude but also proactively helped us change the bed board and promptly contacted maintenance to fix issues with our door and power outlets. She was truly dedicated and responsible, and her attentiveness was evident in everything she did. I highly recommend this place to anyone who values excellent service quality and pays attention to detail!

We booked a family room and it was incredibly spacious, essentially two standard rooms joined together. Having two bathrooms was a huge convenience; both adults and children could get ready without any hassle. The water heated up quickly and the pressure was consistently strong. The location is perfect for sightseeing – it's super easy to get to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. Wangfujing Pedestrian Street is right next door, there's a 7-Eleven across the street, and a Qingfeng Steamed Bun shop. Diagonally opposite is Zigongyuan Roast Duck, which always has a huge line because it's so popular. There are countless things to praise about this place! We stayed for 5 days and were very satisfied. The only minor drawback was the limited TV channels; there were only about 30 local stations available.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Next door is Menkuang Luzhu, and nearby are Fangzhuan Factory, Ziguangyuan, and Siji Minfu, all very close. It's also near Wangfujing, but most importantly, the subway is right across the street! Who understands the relief of getting off the subway and being right back at the hotel after a long day of walking? It's also super close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. I forgave some minor issues because of the hotel's incredible location. The room is very small but has everything you need, which is decent.

The easiest way to get to Building 5 from the subway is to take the shortcut through the mall. There are many delicious local eateries nearby. I highly recommend Ya'er Liji for breakfast and hotpot, and Ziguan Garden for Peking duck. I stayed for 6 days straight. While the front desk staff weren't overly enthusiastic, they were always accommodating. The cleaner on Tuesday morning on the seventh floor was the most meticulous, her attention to detail was perfect. However, the cleaner on Friday morning was much less thorough; the towels provided were shedding lint, and the tea bags weren't replenished.

I booked this as a Novotel, but before check-in, I was told it had changed names. This might indicate some issues – perhaps the hotel didn't meet Novotel's standards. The hotel is quite old but well-maintained, with no obvious problems. The outdated design itself isn't a huge deal, but I genuinely can't understand the bathroom door's design – the handle pinches your hand, and the door doesn't close securely. For the price, the location is quite good. Within a few hundred meters' walk, you'll find Dengshikou Subway Station (Line 5) and Jinyukou Station (Line 8). Wangfujing Pedestrian Street is about a 15-minute walk away. I didn't use the hotel's breakfast. There are plenty of breakfast options on the way to Dengshikou Subway Station.

The positives: Location, Location, Location! It is a 10 minute walk away from the forbidden city, and it is close to the temple of heaven. The room service did a nice job as well cleaning the room daily. The negatives: 1- the access to the hotel is through stairs, if you have luggage, you won’t have someone to help you with the bags before you check in. 2- the pictures make seems nicer than it actually is. 3- the lobby is not clean, neither is the floor where we were booked. 4- the rooms too close to each other, the room walls are not well isolated, you will keep hearing noises throughout the night of people walking and speaking loudly beside the rooms. 5- the bathroom has a strong odour coming from it. Not due to room service hygiene though. 6- the toilet seat had wear marks/dark marks on it. 7- pay attention to the fine print while you are booking, despite that all options say double bed, we were asked to pay extra for a queen size bed. Which is fine , however that extra cost puts the hotel rate in the same range of higher tier brand hotels. 8- the room is small, and there are no hangars for the towels.

Five stars, highly recommended! My experience at Holiday Inn Express Beijing Wangjing Huacai was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the subway station, and within an hour's reach of the airport and high-speed rail stations. The surrounding area is bustling with commercial activity, offering numerous malls and restaurants. It’s perfect for exploring Beijing's local vibe and culinary scene after work. Plus, its proximity to my business appointments saved me a lot of time and energy. Stepping into the lobby, I immediately felt a warm welcome. The public areas were clean and tidy, and the newly added lounge sofas looked simple yet stylish. The room was a pleasant surprise. I noticed that the furniture had been recently renovated, and the addition of USB charging ports was a thoughtful touch. The bedding was comfortable, with a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard – and skin-friendly duvets and pillows. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, and all the toiletries were from premium brands. The hotel's service was truly exceptional. During check-in, the front desk attendant, Ms. Xiao Shi, was efficient and patiently explained the facilities and local attractions. Throughout my stay, every request was met promptly, and the cleaning staff were very meticulous. At check-out, the staff helped with my luggage and bid me a warm farewell, making me feel truly at home. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring authentic Old Beijing snacks and drinks, which I genuinely enjoyed.

Facilities: All-inclusive, everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness: Great, much better than the CitiGO I stayed at last time in Wuxi. Environment: Located in China Resources City, close to Fenghuanghui and Lilane, and very near to Sanyuanqiao Exit D. Both dining and transportation are extremely convenient. Service: All the staff, from the front desk to the laundry room to the floor service, were excellent 👍 Very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and polite. Highly satisfied. The hotel was full of guests, very lively, and had a festive atmosphere, like Chinese New Year. The heating was very strong, so much so that I had to open the window for ventilation. Beijing has been quite warm recently; it would be good to turn down the central air conditioning's heating a bit, it would save electricity and be more comfortable. The auntie in the laundry room was very responsible, and there was also a tall, fair-skinned girl with long hair at the front desk who was very polite.

Exceptional hospitality and the best stay in Beijing! I stayed at the Kerry Hotel for two nights from January 26th to 28th, 2026, and it was a truly heartwarming experience. From the moment I entered the room, the manager’s welcome message and cookies made me feel genuinely valued. Since I had to check out at 5:00 AM on the 28th, the hotel kindly prepared a breakfast box for us. I was so touched by this thoughtful gesture. I also want to mention the concierge staff—their English was excellent, and they were incredibly helpful not only in calling a taxi but also in explaining how to get back, which made our trip to Sanlitun very enjoyable. 'A special thank you' goes to the doorman on duty(Jan 27th around 5pm) when I returned from Sanlitun. I encountered a sudden internet issue and couldn't use Alipay. I only had a 100 RMB note, but he quickly sensed the situation and exchanged it for smaller bills so I could pay the taxi driver without any conflict. His quick thinking and flexibility saved the day, and I really hope he receives the recognition he deserves. The hotel’s Adventure Zone (kids' club) was also fantastic. The staff members positioned throughout the area kept my 7-year-old son safe, and the facility was clean and not overcrowded. It was definitely a highlight of the trip for him! The location is perfect as well. I could see all the major CBD buildings at a glance, and the view of the CCTV headquarters from my room was breathtaking. I will definitely choose Kerry Hotel again for my next trip to Beijing. It felt like every staff member was doing their absolute best to take care of the guests. Came here to play with ice and snow, but the ice park was closed, but the snow park was. Came here with children and the elderly, and booked a suite and standard room in the VIP building. The VIP building is newly renovated, the environment is very good, the lobby is large and grand, but there are relatively few guests, even on weekends. You have to drive to another building to eat and soak in the hot springs, which is a bit far to walk, and the snow park is closer to the dining place. It is worth praising that the staff of the snow park have a good attitude, a good experience, and everyone is very enthusiastic. It is worth complaining about the toilet in the snow park, which is a simple one, cold and unclean. There is only one, and you have to queue. It would be better if the snow park opened a few cafes with better environment. There is a small beverage shop with a very bad environment, which is very crowded. The elderly were sitting inside waiting for us to play with snow, but later they felt uncomfortable and went back to the hotel room. . . I've been to this hotel several times for internal department meetings and team-building events, so I brought my family here for Chinese New Year. The hotel's location is super convenient, about an hour's drive from the city. The rooms are individual villas, offering a wonderful sense of harmony with nature ✌🏻, providing peace and tranquility for those busy with work. This is a five-star hotel under the international Hyatt chain, and during Chinese New Year, they were very well-staffed. Sunny, the lady who checked us in at the front desk, was beautiful, kind, and incredibly helpful, responding to every request with enthusiasm 😍. International Trade CBD/Chaoyang Joy City Beijing|2.87km from downtown
Having spent considerable time in the vicinity of the International Club, International Building, Japanese Embassy, Associated Press, and Ritan Park, I'm very familiar with this area. The hotel is strategically located just off Chang'an Avenue, at No. 21 Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It's situated in the heart of the CBD, adjacent to Chang'an Avenue and the Embassy District. Jianguomen subway station is a mere 7-minute walk away, and iconic landmarks like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are just a few blocks from the hotel. It also offers convenient access to vibrant shopping and entertainment hubs such as Guomao, Wangfujing, and Sanlitun. I myself spent nearly a decade working in the International Building. Upon entering the lobby, its high ceilings and grand, pillarless design create a truly magnificent impression. The suites are thoughtfully laid out and exude an elegant, classic charm. A serene garden with a gentle flowing fountain enhances the overall sophisticated ambiance. Despite opening in 1997, the facilities are comprehensive, and the environment, cleanliness, and service all maintain a first-class standard. The standout feature is the unforgettable butler service; the personalized, one-on-one attention makes you feel right at home. The 24-hour comprehensive butler team provides exceptional service, anticipating and fulfilling every guest's need. Our butlers, Jasmine, Parker, Alex, and Bradley, orchestrated a series of unique experiences, including the St. Regis's classic traditional ritual of champagne sabrage. This spectacular event took place in the gallery of the Danielli Italian Restaurant on the hotel's second floor, where guests collectively raised their glasses, savored exquisite champagne, and celebrated. The sabered champagne cork was then presented as a cherished keepsake. Dylan Zhao and Candie (灿灿) went above and beyond, waiting for our return even after we came back late from a football match at Workers' Stadium. As we opened the door, they were already there, ready to welcome us home with comforting warm honey-lemon water and hot peppermint Earl Grey tea, perfectly prepared for optimal flavor. Their handwritten cards were also a thoughtful touch, now treasured keepsakes. They truly made our St. Regis night wonderful, cozy, and unforgettable. While there's so much more I wish to express, my feelings at this moment are truly beyond words, deeply etched in my heart. This unforgettable St. Regis experience will forever be etched in my memory. I look forward to returning on August 25, 2025. My sincerest thanks once again to The St. Regis Hotel for everything.

To ensure my children and I had a comfortable stay in Beijing, I compared many hotels and ultimately chose the Regent. Upon arrival, a doorman helped with our luggage, and luckily, a room was ready, so we were able to check in around 12:30 PM. The room was very comfortable and perfectly suited for two adults and two children. The pool was a huge hit with the kids; we stayed two nights and visited three times. The service at the pool reception was also great; they noticed I was wearing the room's cloth slippers and warned me to be careful not to slip. The only downside occurred during breakfast on the second day. Because my outdoor shoes were a bit uncomfortable, I wore my room slippers into the restaurant (as I had the day before). When I went to get more food, there was a large puddle of water around a corner. The lighting in that spot was a bit dim, making it impossible to see, and I nearly fell. I had to inform the staff about the water before they promptly cleaned it up. I also told a gentleman in a suit, who seemed to be a manager. He only offered to move our table, and there was no subsequent apology. After I sat down, I was still quite shaken. Feeling both startled and disrespected, I decided to go to the front desk and speak with the restaurant manager myself. Although they did take some corrective actions afterwards, such as bringing two teddy bears for our children and some bread from the restaurant, and even called after we checked out to offer a room upgrade for our next stay, I still feel it's important to mention this incident. As it's an IHG hotel, it should be different from a budget hotel. Guests come here for excellent service, but this morning's experience was quite a deviation from what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with direct access to the China World Mall, and it's home to Nanmen Hotpot and Ma Liu Ji. The basement connects directly to Metro Lines 1 and 10, which is super convenient. Line 1 goes straight to attractions like Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing, and the Military Museum. Beijing traffic can be bad, so having easy subway access is a huge plus. This time, I also noticed a significant improvement in the hotel's service. We're a family of three, and we pushed the two twin beds together to sleep. When the staff cleaned the room, they thoughtfully put a thick bed sheet over them, so the person in the middle didn't feel the uncomfortable gap between the two beds, and we slept really well. Plus, every day they'd provide extra bottles of mineral water and tissues based on our habits, and when I asked for a band-aid, they proactively offered iodine swabs, which was very thoughtful. 👍

1: The front desk staff who checked me in, wearing teal eyeshadow, kept a straight face and emphasized three times that I needed to keep the executive lounge schedule and adhere to its times. Excuse me, is this my first time visiting an executive lounge? And second, I'm not blind or deaf, so I would have understood after you said it once. Also, please fix your makeup. 2: After being in the room for a while, I noticed a yellow stain on a pillowcase. I called, and the attendant quickly came to replace it. It's no exaggeration to say she replaced the pillowcase in 2 seconds. This was, without a doubt, the best experience of my stay. 3: As part of the executive benefits, I had a late check-out until 4 PM. However, at 2 PM, my card stopped working. My three-year-old and I were stuck in the elevator, unable to go up, and he got scared. It was then that I realized they might have deactivated my card... We had to go back to the front desk on the ground floor to resolve it. All of this is fine, these are minor issues. 4: They charged me 3500 for check-in and took the deposit quickly. But getting the deposit back was a different story. I've stayed at so many five-star platinum and diamond hotels, and I've always received my deposit before even leaving the hotel entrance. This is the first time I've encountered not receiving it after 12 hours. Customer service told me it would be returned via the original payment method within 48 hours... I've truly never heard of a deposit being delayed like this. 5: The shower in the room was very cold, and at night, it was extremely hot, making it hard to sleep. The breakfast was decent but didn't offer much. Please stop serving that 'cheong fun' (rice noodle roll); it's an embarrassment. Anyone who has ever had 'cheong fun' would know what I'm talking about... The executive lounge had almost nothing to eat; it was far too little, not even half of what you'd find at a Ritz. The orange juice was good. There was one young male server in the executive lounge who was absolutely the best; the other female staff were just props. That's all.

🌺 A Warm Winter in Beijing, a Wonderful Start to the Year at the Waldorf 🌺 For our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, we chose the Waldorf Astoria Wangfujing, and from the moment we stepped into the lobby, a sense of warmth enveloped us. Our dedicated concierge provided impeccable care, from a thoughtful welcome upon arrival to heartfelt recommendations for authentic local cuisine. That meticulous attention to detail made us feel incredibly at home. Any requests for our room were always met with incredibly swift responses, giving us peace of mind. Waldorf's breakfast, as always, is a favorite! Not only did they thoughtfully prepare a special menu for the little one, which really got their appetite going, but the real surprise was the authentic Old Beijing Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) – rich, savory sauce and perfectly chewy noodles instantly won over the whole family's taste buds, making it a daily 'must-order' item! Watching the little one happily slurp up the noodles was the warmest scene of our mornings. During our days in Beijing, we were fortunate to have the warmest and sunniest weather, with blue skies and warm sunshine accompanying us as we explored the ancient capital. This wonderful trip to the Waldorf Astoria Beijing kicked off our brand new 2026 with an incredibly beautiful prelude. 🍾 Wishing everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse, happiness, good health, and all the best! 🎊

Service is great, actually really good, I would stay here again…..the price makes sense…. The breakfast buffet is truly amazing and a mix of both Chinese and western cuisines.

Even though the hotel has been open for many years, the stay experience was still excellent. Behind the reception desk hung a painting by Zeng Fanzhi, understated and sophisticated – truly fitting for the imperial capital. Waking up to the sunlight streaming into the room in the morning was absolutely beautiful, instantly putting me in a vacation mood, even though I was here for a business trip... The breakfast was very rich, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Second Ring Road, and parking is free, making it convenient to visit nearby attractions. The overall environment lives up to the standards of an established five-star hotel, with top-notch facilities and attention to detail. The service was thoughtful; seeing that we were traveling with elderly and children, they proactively upgraded us to an Ultraman suite, which made the kids very happy. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and at 58 yuan, it was great value for money. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip.

This hotel is the former residence of one of the Eight Iron-Cap Princes of the Qing Dynasty. While it retains many historical elements, the rooms themselves feature modern decor and bathrooms, which is a nice touch ^_^. The prince's own private garden is absolutely beautiful, and I saw many families holding gatherings there. You can enjoy afternoon tea or even hot pot – it really gives you a sense of pure bliss 💥. A major deciding factor for choosing to stay here was the direct back entrance to the Pop Mart City Park inside Chaoyang Park ✌️.

For this friends' gathering, we wanted to experience a traditional courtyard hotel. We chose the Waldorf Astoria over the Aman, and it was an excellent experience! The room was very new and spacious, and the courtyard was beautiful. All the staff were incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, our dedicated butler, Amber, contacted us to ask if we needed any anniversary decorations and about our bedding preferences. We arrived quite early, and our room wasn't ready yet, so they kindly prepared a room for us in the main building to rest. They guided us through the entire process, and the service was incredibly detailed and attentive, giving us a fantastic first impression right from check-in. For breakfast, we opted for room service. The variety was extensive, with American, Continental, Chinese, and even low-fat options. Staff member Will also provided very attentive service. The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photography service. Although it was raining, the photographer (a young man named Yueqian) found great spots, and the photos turned out natural and beautiful. While taking photos in the courtyard, we met another staff member, Judy, who was very enthusiastic. She gave us many tips on photo locations and also told us about fun places to visit in Beijing. If we weren't heading to Universal Studios, we would have loved to stay a few more days. The overall experience was excellent, and I'd love to bring my parents here next time.
