Due to a typhoon, my bullet train was cancelled, so I ended up staying an extra night at the hotel. This unexpected extension allowed me to visit attractions I originally didn't have time for, which was a pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about extending my stay in the same room at the last minute, but booking the extension through Trip.com was incredibly smooth! I even had a chance to interact with the big white geese in the small garden 😊😊😊. This hotel is great, I really like it!

I made a last-minute decision to take my granddaughter to Beijing, and considering we had both young and old in our group, I figured staying downtown would save us time and effort when visiting attractions. So, I booked this Capital Hotel on Ctrip. Online reviews highly recommended its location, citing convenient transport and proximity to major sights. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic during check-in and even upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. From our window, we could see the Beijing Hotel, and a part of the Forbidden City in the distance. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, also very roomy. We stayed for four nights; it was quiet and comfortable. We were out early and back late every day, so we didn't really get to fully enjoy the amenities.

Traveling to Beijing for a business trip, I needed a hotel close to Tiananmen Square and 1949 The Hidden City (Quanjude). As an InterContinental Platinum member, I used to stay at the Regent, but now I've switched to the Legendale. The location is excellent, it offers great value for money, and I was pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade. The amenities in the room are high quality, no expense spared, giving off a vibe of upward mobility. The breakfast fruit was delicious, and the room itself was very well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer isn't a newer model; I hope they can update it soon.

I have to commend Destin at the front desk! I was exhausted when I arrived at the hotel, but he greeted me with a constant smile and processed my check-in quickly and efficiently. He thoughtfully informed me about breakfast times and elevator locations, and even enthusiastically recommended nearby attractions and authentic local restaurants. He was incredibly patient and thorough when answering my questions. His attentive service truly melted away the fatigue from my journey. Next time I stay, I'll definitely look for him again.

Here I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)

The biggest highlight of the Xinqiao Hotel is its extremely convenient location – directly opposite Chongwenmen Subway Station (where Lines 2 and 5 intersect). It's incredibly easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and Beijing Railway Station by subway or bus. Plus, there are malls like New World nearby. However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. After all, it's an old hotel that opened in 1954, and some rooms have dim lighting. Some room types are windowless, which can feel a bit stuffy if you haven't confirmed beforehand. I personally recommend getting a room with a window. In summary, if location and transportation convenience are your top priorities and you're fine with the older style of an established hotel, this is a hassle-free choice!

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Wangfujing. There are many snack shops, restaurants and a few hair salons next to and in front of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with hailing a taxi and showing us how to get to the various attractions. The hotel even provided a small map to guide us on foot to and from the Palace Museum. Very special is this hotel very family friendly, the have connecting room for the family to stay in, for us, we can take care of our girls without open the door and go to another room. The daily housekeeping was very thorough. The female housekeeper responsible for our rooms 715 and 716 was particularly friendly, attentive, and responsible. My daughter accidentally spilled soy milk on the carpet and bed; I informed her, and she promised to handle it. When we returned to the room that evening, the carpet and bed were spotless, without any smell or stains. We were very satisfied with the hotel's service. We will stay in this hotel again when we go to Beijing again.

Fantastic hotel! 1) It's right opposite the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. 2) The room, though small, was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. The pillows, in particular, were those wonderful memory foam ones – I slept like a baby all night. The toiletries were also very comprehensive: hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were all provided. 3) The service was exceptional, making me feel right at home. Plus, there were complimentary drinks in the fridge! Overall, great value for money.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic – shopping areas and attractions are all within walking distance, making transportation a breeze and saving a lot of hassle. The biggest surprise was the hotel's intangible cultural heritage experience program. The instructor was very detailed in their explanation, and the hands-on creation of traditional crafts felt incredibly ceremonial. It was both relaxing and a great way to experience local culture, suitable for both adults and children. The accompanying gym is also worth mentioning; the space is clean and well-ventilated, equipped with a full range of cardio and strength training machines. A workout there really helps shake off travel fatigue. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend!

While there was an initial misunderstanding due to a hygiene concern which caused distress on our first night stay that I had to escalate the matter through Trip.com, the hotel manager turned the experience around. The night before check-out, we had a genuine and positive conversation at the lobby. She was humble and openly acknowledged her shortcomings and appreciated for helping her learn and grow as a leader. Good to know that a manager willing to take accountability and desire to improve. Every hotel staff we have interacted with are professional and friendly. Aside from the good service recovery, we loved the hotel's convenience: 1. Siji Minfu Peking Roast Duck Restaurant (四季民福) is next to the hotel along with other food options in the same stretch. 2. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (shopping and food). 3. The fun robot that delivers food right to our doorstep! The hotel also prepared light snacks for our airport journey. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!

Overall, a five-star review – I really love this hotel. I'm a foreign tourist and I've traveled to over thirty provinces and ninety cities across China. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and have also recommended it to my friends and family. The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent hygiene. The rooms are spotless, and the bathrooms are equipped with smart toilets, which as a foreigner, I particularly appreciate. I do have two issues I'd like to bring to the hotel's attention: First, the takeaway delivery policy. For food safety reasons, the hotel doesn't allow robots to deliver food to guest rooms, so I have to go downstairs to pick it up every time I order. Several times, by the time I get my food, it's already completely cold. Sometimes, it's really inconvenient to go downstairs to pick up food right after showering. My suggestion to the hotel is this: You could prepare a food safety waiver. Guests who voluntarily sign it would acknowledge and accept the food safety risks themselves, allowing robots to deliver food to their rooms. This would both maintain the hotel's management requirements and be more convenient for guests. Second, the bathroom scale in my room is broken and inaccurate. I weigh 180 jin, but the scale showed only 40 jin – the numbers are completely off. Aside from these two minor issues, the hotel is five-star worthy in every other aspect. If these problems can be improved in the future, I will definitely bring my family back to stay here often.

We had such a fantastic time bringing our child to the Le Du Port Marriott this trip! My child was participating in a robotics competition, and after adding the hotel's butler, Skyller, on WeChat, they pre-checked us in so my child could rest during lunchtime. We learned it was also my child's birthday that day, and they even prepared balloons and a small cake, which made my child incredibly happy. Any requests were promptly addressed. A huge thumbs up to Skyller! 👍 The room was spacious and clean, and the children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared; the small slippers and toothbrush made my child feel really involved. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and there was even a dedicated children's serving area, making mealtime enjoyable for my little one and stress-free for us. The pool temperature was just right for splashing around and enjoying the hot springs with the kids, plus there's a children's play area. This was my partner and my first time vacationing in Miyun, and also our first stay at the Hylla Hotel. The entire trip far exceeded our expectations; it was truly wonderful! I have to specially commend our dedicated concierge, Golden Key Ethan. Before we even arrived, he proactively added us on WeChat to connect, showing incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Knowing we wanted to relax and recuperate, he took the initiative to pre-book Ayurvedic treatments and singing bowl sessions for us at the wellness center. He also thoroughly explained all of the hotel's unique offerings, such as the hillside hot springs, the gymnasium, and the mountain hiking trails, clearly outlining the duration of each activity and any booking注意事项 (important notes). We didn't have to worry about a thing. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, answering any small questions we had almost instantly. He's reliable, patient, and warm. I later learned he's a professional 'Golden Key' concierge, and his professionalism was evident—it’s rare to find such a dedicated and caring service person. The hotel itself is also outstanding. Tucked away on the hillside, the air is fresh and quiet, with negative oxygen ions reaching 9000! The 12 forest hot springs create an amazing ambiance, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich, far surpassing the quality of a five-star hotel in the city. There’s also a huge kids’ play area, with facilities that cater to both adult relaxation and children's fun. This time it was just my partner and me enjoying a relaxing getaway, and we are completely smitten. We'll definitely bring our daughter and the whole family next time, and we'll certainly ask concierge Ethan to arrange our itinerary again! Despite the small size of the hotel facilities due to its prime location, the overall experience was excellent and I highly recommend it. * **Location:** The hotel is situated in the heart of the Wangfujing commercial district, right next to APM shopping mall and Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Oriental Plaza is also a short walk to the south, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. * **Ambiance:** The space from the hotel exterior to the lobby is quite compact. The lobby itself is probably the smallest I've seen in a five-star hotel, but it's very well-managed, and you can sense the quality of a well-established five-star property. * **Service:** The hotel service was fantastic. From the moment I arrived outside the hotel to checking in at the lobby, there were always staff members proactively offering assistance. * **Room:** The room I was assigned was quite spacious, with a standard layout and decor. The view from the higher floor was particularly good. * **Dining:** Breakfast is apparently on the 5th floor. The dining area is quite large, and the food selection is standard.

Pros: The hotel's location is pretty good, with plenty of dining options nearby and within a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Cons: Food delivery was too slow; the delivery robot was idle, and my food wasn't delivered. The room lighting was a bit dim. The shower curtain in the bathroom didn't feel very clean; I'd suggest using a glass film instead. The mattress was slightly smaller than the bed frame, making it easy to bump my legs. When booking through Ctrip, it showed breakfast included, but if you book for two consecutive days, it's only for one day. Be sure to check the booking page, as I had to pay extra for breakfast. This wouldn't be an issue if booked separately. The lobby lounge area has been converted into a tea shop, leaving limited seating.
