Due to a typhoon, my bullet train was cancelled, so I ended up staying an extra night at the hotel. This unexpected extension allowed me to visit attractions I originally didn't have time for, which was a pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about extending my stay in the same room at the last minute, but booking the extension through Trip.com was incredibly smooth! I even had a chance to interact with the big white geese in the small garden 😊😊😊. This hotel is great, I really like it!

Service: The front desk and doorman provided excellent service. We're a family of four, and we booked two rooms; they arranged for us to have connecting rooms, which was very convenient. Our stay coincided with the hotel's Intangible Cultural Heritage experience event. We just needed to get vouchers from the front desk to participate. The activities varied daily, and on the evening we went, it was a cloisonné crafting experience. The two instructors were very good, and they even gave us extra flowers to take home. Their service was fantastic! ^_^ Facilities: The hotel lobby is grand and impressive, and the room facilities are excellent, spacious, bright, and airy. Hygiene: The hygiene is spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. Environment: The hotel environment is beautiful and comfortable.

Traveling to Beijing for a business trip, I needed a hotel close to Tiananmen Square and 1949 The Hidden City (Quanjude). As an InterContinental Platinum member, I used to stay at the Regent, but now I've switched to the Legendale. The location is excellent, it offers great value for money, and I was pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade. The amenities in the room are high quality, no expense spared, giving off a vibe of upward mobility. The breakfast fruit was delicious, and the room itself was very well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer isn't a newer model; I hope they can update it soon.

I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. They upgraded me directly to a deluxe suite with two rooms and two king-sized beds. Even though I only stayed for two nights, it was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is very close to Jianguomen subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. Breakfast was also fantastic, served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, which is a generous four-hour window, catering to all guests' needs. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. Overall, Sofitel is definitely my top choice when visiting Beijing.

Here I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)

The biggest highlight of the Xinqiao Hotel is its extremely convenient location – directly opposite Chongwenmen Subway Station (where Lines 2 and 5 intersect). It's incredibly easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and Beijing Railway Station by subway or bus. Plus, there are malls like New World nearby. However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. After all, it's an old hotel that opened in 1954, and some rooms have dim lighting. Some room types are windowless, which can feel a bit stuffy if you haven't confirmed beforehand. I personally recommend getting a room with a window. In summary, if location and transportation convenience are your top priorities and you're fine with the older style of an established hotel, this is a hassle-free choice!

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Wangfujing. There are many snack shops, restaurants and a few hair salons next to and in front of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with hailing a taxi and showing us how to get to the various attractions. The hotel even provided a small map to guide us on foot to and from the Palace Museum. Very special is this hotel very family friendly, the have connecting room for the family to stay in, for us, we can take care of our girls without open the door and go to another room. The daily housekeeping was very thorough. The female housekeeper responsible for our rooms 715 and 716 was particularly friendly, attentive, and responsible. My daughter accidentally spilled soy milk on the carpet and bed; I informed her, and she promised to handle it. When we returned to the room that evening, the carpet and bed were spotless, without any smell or stains. We were very satisfied with the hotel's service. We will stay in this hotel again when we go to Beijing again.

I brought my daughter to Beijing for 5 nights before the summer holidays, right after her high school entrance exams, to avoid the peak travel season. The hotel's location is excellent; the Jinyu Hutong subway station is directly opposite, which was the main reason I booked it. It's a convenient walk to the Forbidden City, and easy to cycle to the National Museum of China and Tiananmen Square, with the subway for further destinations. However, in such a prime location, you can't expect spacious rooms. Ours was incredibly tiny, barely enough room to turn around at the foot of the bed. We arrived for check-in after 2 PM on the first day, but couldn't get our room until after 8 PM, when we returned from Badaling. We were given room 520, which was at the very end of the hallway. I had booked a room with a window, but ours only had a half-sized window, and the bathroom counter had almost no space around the sink. I later realized that room 520 was an outlier; the rooms in the middle of the hallway seemed much more spacious. On the third day, I requested a room change, and the front desk handled it quickly and efficiently. On our last day, the hotel sent up some complimentary snacks and fruit. We didn't eat them, but we still appreciated the gesture very much.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic – shopping areas and attractions are all within walking distance, making transportation a breeze and saving a lot of hassle. The biggest surprise was the hotel's intangible cultural heritage experience program. The instructor was very detailed in their explanation, and the hands-on creation of traditional crafts felt incredibly ceremonial. It was both relaxing and a great way to experience local culture, suitable for both adults and children. The accompanying gym is also worth mentioning; the space is clean and well-ventilated, equipped with a full range of cardio and strength training machines. A workout there really helps shake off travel fatigue. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend!

Every time I choose Kerry, it's mainly because it's close to my offices in Guomao and Yintai, and I don't have to move rooms if I extend my stay after the company-booked dates. The reservation and concierge staff were all very enthusiastic and quickly responded to my inquiries about extending my stay and receiving a package for me, helping me arrange a direct extension. The hotel rooms are very spacious. Odd-numbered rooms have a fantastic view, directly overlooking the CCTV Tower and CITIC Tower (China Zun), while even-numbered rooms offer views of Guanghua Soho. Although the hotel seems to be a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained. The front desk lady was very efficient, and the staff in housekeeping and the downstairs conference rooms were all polite and welcoming. The concierge team was thoughtful and meticulous. Although it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the advantage is that you can walk directly through the underground mall, so you don't have to worry about wind, rain, or strong sun – it's truly the top choice for business trips.

We had booked two family rooms at the hotel next door, but fewer people came than expected, and they wouldn't let us change to just one room, which is understandable. So we canceled that booking and quickly reserved a family room with bunk beds at this hotel while it was still available. It was a pleasant surprise! There were two bathrooms, one large and one small, which was great for the kids. The bunk beds were also very wide. Everything was excellent, except for the lack of a window. The air conditioning worked great, and the room service was good, especially the front desk service. Honestly, everything was impeccable, from the value for money and pre-arrival communication to the actual stay. However, I have to mention the staff at the Kids' Club – they were quite something. My package included the Spring Kite Flying activity, and I asked a staff member if I could pay extra to switch to the pottery workshop. She said yes, it would be an additional 100 RMB. So I called my child over from outside, and we were just about to start when another staff member, a heavier-set woman in a white t-shirt, quickly interjected, saying we couldn't. When I asked why not, she replied with a very dismissive look, ”The activities we put in packages are the ones nobody wants to do.” I didn't want to argue with her, so I went to the front desk in the main lobby. After the front desk called to inquire, they said we could indeed pay extra for pottery. But by then, I'd completely lost interest. It just felt like a lack of consistent service, which was really disappointing. I hope this gets some attention, because for a hotel with such a great environment, I think it's one of a kind in Beijing. It would be a shame to spoil the whole experience because of one bad apple.

This is our third time staying at Marriott Beijing Changping, and this time we opted for the 'Flying House' themed family room. The room features a bunk bed with a slide, which completely captivated our child, keeping them entertained for a long time. The room is well-equipped with children's amenities, including a baby toilet seat, a step stool, toiletries, and bathrobes. The only downsides are some safety concerns: the stone edges of the indoor hot tub are very sharp and lack corner protectors, and the upper bunk's guardrail is quite low, requiring parents to closely supervise their children. The hot spring area offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor pools, all clean, with different depths, slides, and ball pits. The water temperature is perfect for kids, satisfying their desire to play in the water. The indoor kids' play area feels a bit old, with many damaged soft mats on the floor. There were no staff members supervising or assisting during playtime, so parents with young children should definitely accompany and watch them closely. The hotel is conveniently located next to Wanda Plaza, which has plenty of dining options and children's entertainment.

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

Even though this hotel is ten years old, I was worried it might be run down. I originally booked the Rocks Hotel, but was put off by the outdated facilities, dirty carpets, and incredibly rude service! I chose Hilton for its reputation and reliability. When I booked, I left a few requests, not really expecting them to be noticed, but when I arrived, the front desk proactively addressed and fulfilled every single one. Every staff member at the hotel genuinely focuses on the guests, offering smiles and greetings. Their service mindset is excellent. I particularly want to commend the housekeeping staff on my floor and the cleaning auntie on the first floor – they are incredibly proactive, have a great attitude, and are very dedicated. However, I do think the doormen could be more proactive. When I checked in, it was pouring rain! My friend and I both had our hands full with bags and were sitting in the back seat, but no doorman offered an umbrella or even opened the car door. After struggling up the steps, the revolving door in front of me was broken. I stood there awkwardly for about 30 seconds, trying to figure it out, before a staff member finally noticed me and directed me to the side entrance. The room itself was good, and I slept really well because I was so exhausted. I have to say, it was incredibly quiet; no noise woke me up at all. A special thanks to Manager Ding Yuzhu, who has a lovely smile and proactively asked about my experience. I'll definitely contact you for my next visit. Thank you everyone, and thank you, Hilton.

Choosing the Regent Hotel was truly the best decision I made during my trip to Beijing. I was exhausted and weary from days of sightseeing. I had initially considered the Grand Hyatt on Chang'an Avenue, but its reviews suggested it was a bit dated and average, so I ultimately opted for the Regent. It turned out to be the right choice. Service: What left the deepest impression on me was the service. I've stayed at many five-star hotels, but most of them are all style and no substance. The hardware might be great, but the service often falls short, with stiff and indifferent staff. Every single staff member at the Regent, however, was incredibly warm and friendly, making you feel completely at ease. During my three-day stay, I took many taxis from the hotel entrance, and each time, a dedicated concierge would open the car door and help with my luggage. In the lobby, staff frequently approached guests to ask if they needed any assistance, and everyone was exceptionally polite. Facilities: The hotel's facilities are both luxurious and inviting. There were a surprising number of foreign guests; I felt there were more foreigners than Chinese. In all my hotel stays, this was the first time I'd encountered such a large international crowd. Yet, the hotel staff treated both local and international guests with the same excellent level of service. Breakfast: The hotel breakfast was truly outstanding. Many hotels offer a rich breakfast spread, but often lack attentive service. The Regent's breakfast also included an à la carte menu, with delicious eggs Benedict and beef noodles that I enjoyed every day. The variety of salads, fruits, and bread was also extensive, and I felt it was a very healthy selection. Overall, the quality was very high. Pool: The pool facilities were excellent. The pool itself is large, and there are also a massage pool and a smaller pool. It also has both steam and wet saunas, which were great. Outside, there's a lounge area where you can get water, which is a thoughtful touch. I didn't get a chance to use the gym due to time constraints. Location: The hotel's location is also superb. There's a subway station right outside the entrance, making it very convenient to get to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. You can also catch a direct bus to the Great Wall from right outside the hotel. It's truly convenient, and the nearby takeout options were also delicious, saving me the trouble of finding food elsewhere. I will definitely stay at the Regent again on my next visit to Beijing.

The bed was also a super king-size, 2 meters wide, and very comfortable to sleep on. The next day, I came back late after running errands, and the hotel was kind enough to extend my check-out time. The hotel also has a brewery and a very famous bakery. If you pay a deposit upon check-in, you can enjoy discounts there. The room facilities were great, the recliner was very comfortable, and the bedding was nice. The live singer at the bar was excellent. The pool wasn't deep, perfect for a splash, and the water quality and environment were good. The location was fantastic, near Guomao, with a decent view, and within walking distance of the mall. However, the service wasn't great. The staff seemed poorly informed about many hotel details – spa prices, amenity kit prices, differences between room types, etc. They had to transfer calls to answer these questions, and once transferred, they couldn't transfer me back to the original front desk, so I had to hang up and redial... Sometimes I couldn't even get through. During two separate phone calls, I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration and specifically asked if decorations could be arranged for my check-in day. I was told yes. But upon arrival, nothing had been set up. Only after I inquired again was a small cake hastily brought to the room, and the staff didn't even offer a single 'Happy Birthday.' The next morning, the two lattes I ordered at the beginning of breakfast only arrived after I had finished all my food and had to prompt them again. The music at the bar was very loud. It was divided into smoking and non-smoking sections, but oddly, all the non-smoking areas were incredibly noisy, with no quiet spots. My family and I couldn't hear each other talk, so we had to go to the smoking section. I was forced to inhale secondhand smoke all evening and woke up with a sore throat the next day. I feel the area planning is very problematic and genuinely unfriendly to non-smokers. Also, the management seemed a bit chaotic at times. Non-guests could access the pool and gym. And when I checked out, there were even police in the lobby arguing with hotel staff and a customer.

I had the chance to experience this 'classic' renowned hotel, and I found it quite good. Although it's a bit old and some of the facilities are dated, especially in the apartment rooms, the cleanliness is commendable and the service is excellent. The apartment rooms, despite their traditional decor and older equipment, are spacious and well-suited for families. The standard rooms have been renovated with a more modern style and contemporary amenities. While smaller, they are very comfortable to stay in. I specifically requested a high floor for a better view! I also sampled the food at 'Changan One' and 'Tea Source,' ordered a birthday cake from 'Su Yuan,' and tried the breakfast buffet. All were very satisfying. The Kung Pao Chicken at Changan One was particularly unique, and the fried chicken wings at Tea Source were similar to spicy fried chicken. This stay truly exceeded my expectations! I happened to check in on my birthday, and I was so touched by how thoughtful the hotel was. 1. **Surprise Upgrade**: When the front desk staff (they/them) found out it was my birthday, they proactively upgraded my room. That feeling of being quietly looked after was simply wonderful. 2. **Personal Touch**: The room was decorated for my birthday, and the handwritten card really stood out. The handwriting was neat and sincere, completely unlike a generic printed template. It instantly made me feel a sense of belonging. 3. **Flawless Service**: From check-in at the front desk to the concierge's guidance, every single staff member was incredibly friendly and professional. Their warmth and expertise made me feel so welcome. Not only are the facilities excellent, but the soft skills in their service are also impeccable. Thank you for giving me such a memorable birthday. Next time I'm in the area, this will definitely be my first choice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My child chose this hotel for their college entrance exam because of its proximity to Luhe High School. We were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel's service throughout the exam period. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even delivering takeout directly to our room. The cleaning staff were also very thoughtful. The hotel also offered a refrigerator for storing items, and ice was provided for cold drinks. The freshly ground coffee from the front desk was also very fragrant and refreshing. Most of the guests during the exam period were students and parents, and the environment was very quiet, which was conducive to students studying and resting.

I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! First off, the staff were incredibly warm and responsive, handling any request promptly and perfectly. The courtyard of the siheyuan is particularly charming and makes for great photos; the rooms, meanwhile, are clean, tidy, and well-designed, making for a very comfortable stay. My overall travel experience was definitely enhanced by this hotel, and I highly recommend it!
