Opting for the New Otani Chang Fu Gong for my Beijing trip was a great choice; the overall stay was consistently excellent and thoughtful, truly reflecting the quality of a seasoned high-end hotel. The service was warm and meticulous. Every day, they'd leave Beijing specialty snacks in the room – classic local pastries and treats. Coming back after a day of sightseeing to these delightful surprises was incredibly heartwarming. The breakfast was of a high standard, with a rich variety of choices, and a distinct Japanese flair. The tender omelets, crispy capelin, and exquisite Japanese pastries were all authentically prepared. At the same time, Chinese and Western hot dishes, breads, congees, cold cuts, and braised meats were all available, catering to different tastes. The view from the breakfast restaurant was a particular highlight. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see a serene courtyard: a neatly trimmed lawn, a rock garden pond, and even white geese leisurely strolling about. The garden scenery was elegant and comfortable. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the view really helped me slow down and relax. The guest room was clean and spacious, with a well-organized layout and good natural light, making for a relaxed and unconfined stay. The overall service was on point, and the breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation in Beijing.

The location is fantastic! We stayed here to take our child to see the flag-raising ceremony, and it's very close to security checkpoint No. 4. Absolutely stunning hotel The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the decor was absolutely stunning. It really does look just like the photos. Its also easy walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street, to multiple subway lines, and to the Forbidden City. Dozens of food options right across the street too, but also several in-house restaurants and room service. Our room was spotlessly clean, the air was fresh and clean, and the housekeeping cleaned up and replaced our towels and amenities daily. The gym was very well equipped with commercial gym standard equipment - it doesnt open til 7am though. The swimming pool area was also lovely though we were too busy exploring Beijing and never got a chance to swim in it! We would both, most definitely, stay with Legendale again and would thoroughly recommend to others, too. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We only wish we had stayed for a bit longer.

Before booking, I read the negative reviews, which were mostly complaints about the service. After staying, I felt like this hotel was one giant obedience test. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell from the air conditioning ducts. I picked up the phone and dialed 'one touch.' The operator transferred me to the front desk, who said they would get back to me shortly. 'Shortly' meant I had to call again to get any kind of answer. After changing rooms, the next day my room card stopped working. That's when I understood why there was a phone in the hallway. After calling, they said an auntie would come to help open the door. Ten minutes later, the auntie finally arrived. After opening the door, she said a concierge would bring a new room card later. Well, it never arrived within two hours. Eventually, when I went to pick up my takeout, I had to go to the front desk myself to get a new one. The tissues in the room ran out. The auntie replaced them with new ones, but just left the new pack on top of the tissue box instead of putting them inside. I don't understand that. There was a short black hair in the bathtub... The mini-bar was completely empty on the first night, possibly due to the room change. At breakfast, I opened a Chinese steamed dim sum, and there was a black hair inside... Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and many guests came at 10:35 AM to get coffee, but it was all gone...

The Beijing New Otani Hotel is an established five-star hotel in Beijing, boasting a prime location near a subway station and a wide array of dining options, including Wangfujing. The hotel itself offers a buffet and a Chinese restaurant. Overall, the hotel is well-maintained. In our room, the shower had excellent water pressure and drained quickly. The bedding was soft, and most importantly, the service was exceptionally friendly. We were in a hurry to check out and accidentally left our charger and important cards in the room. Manager Wang Zhaofeng immediately helped us search for them, responding promptly and quickly sending us photos of the found items, which instantly put our minds at ease. She then arranged for expedited shipping to mail them back to us. This kind of heartfelt service, anticipating and addressing guests' urgent needs, is truly commendable. We visited the hotel's breakfast restaurant once, and the variety was extensive, with excellent taste, quality, and freshness. The restaurant service was also timely and enthusiastic, leaving us very satisfied, especially the excellent service from Runze and Xiao Cai Gege. The superior service from these staff members truly enhanced our stay.

The location was excellent and short walk and there’s a nice halal Lanzhou Beef noddle shop across the road and a fruit seller either outside the hotel or across the road in front of 7-11. A good spot to get some fruits after dinner.

It’s a very good hotel located in ideal location . It’s very near to forbidden city which is just few streets away. Many restaurants located nearby, like Si Ji Min Fu Peking Duck. You could get help from the hotel to get the queue number and waiting at the hotel room before your turn. It’s really save a lot of time. The daily breakfast was good , just that the serving plates or cups were found cracked or chipped , the hotel still use that for serving customers during breakfast .We were given free drink voucher and you gotta to get the voucher from the service counter daily. Free laundry and free robot delivery service . As there’s only one robot for food delivery to room, and during peak hour , you might need to go down to collect the food at the hotel counter yourself . And the room cleaning service is awesome and they helped us to clean the baggage and left us a message in sticky note when the job’s done. Kudos to the dedicated room cleaner. Many local Beijing snacks and cold drinks are served at the hotel lobby and they are free. When we’re checked out , we’re given a small free goodie bag to bring back home.

I was very satisfied with the room; it was clean and tidy. Before staying, I was worried that a siheyuan (courtyard house) might be old or that the room might have an odor. But after checking in, none of those concerns materialized. It was also very quiet. All my worries before checking in were unnecessary. Even before I walked into the hotel, a young man came out to help me with my luggage. If I have the chance to visit Beijing again, I'd definitely stay in a siheyuan here again. The complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was also excellent. The photographer was very gentle and patient, and his photography skills were top-notch! I was very happy with the final photos; he's the most satisfying photographer I've encountered recently!

During this stay, I truly experienced what it means to “be amidst the bustle, yet privately enjoy luxury.” Arriving on the afternoon of the 25th, from the moment I stepped into the lobby, that grand sense of tranquility isolated me from the noise outside the window. The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. The lounge's food, whether afternoon tea or evening happy hour, offered such a vast variety that it was hard to choose. The breakfast at 'Jia Pin Restaurant' on the morning of the 26th absolutely won me over—there were 7 ways to prepare eggs alone, plus fresh grapefruit. These kinds of details are truly a huge plus! Although I know this hotel is a representative of the 'old money' opened in 1999, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! This is definitely the most 'aristocratic' hotel I've stayed at in Beijing, second to none! ♥️

It's about 10 kilometers from Badaling Great Wall, and Shuiguan Great Wall is nearby and not crowded. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

This hotel is perfect for a family staycation! We chose a twin room and had them combine the beds, and we pre-booked bed rails. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for families with children. The best part is that it's pet-friendly too! The hotel package also included access to iQIYI Kids' Playground and a hot spring. The kids' playground offered unlimited entry on the day of validation, while the hot spring was a one-time entry. There's an indoor water slide, which is great for older children. It was quite busy during the holiday, and the breakfast queue started forming before 9 AM.

The location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing, making travel very convenient. As for facilities, the building is a bit old, but well-maintained. However, on the first night, it rained, and I heard water dripping while lying in bed in the middle of the night. The next morning, I saw a lot of standing water on the windowsill. Additionally, the shower often leaks when in use. Regarding service, the staff proactively greeted guests and offered a mail-back service for forgotten items. However, there was an unpleasant experience during checkout. When checking in, I had added executive lounge access for the first day only. But at checkout, the system showed it was added for four days. I explained the situation to the cashier, and even the booking confirmation clearly stated it was only for the first day. Yet, they still had to meticulously re-verify, calling the restaurant and executive lounge to confirm, as if they suspected the customer was trying to cheat. I had to wait a long time; were they going to check video recordings? Regardless of whether Hilton's management is strict or chaotic, they certainly failed in terms of customer satisfaction.

I brought my parents and child to Beijing for the Mid-Autumn Festival. My mom wanted to visit the Temple of Heaven, my dad wanted to eat Chen Ji braised offal, and my child wanted to see the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was a busy schedule! The hotel's location is excellent. There's a side entrance less than 20 meters from Dengshikou Subway Station. Dongdan, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple are all within walking distance. You can city walk and experience the hutongs or go shopping. Famous restaurants like Dongdan Nanmen Shuanrou, Kaorou Liu, and Bianyifang are all conveniently nearby. As an old five-star hotel, the service is top-notch – attentive but not intrusive, very comfortable and proper. The breakfast has a good variety of freshly made items; the scrambled eggs, beef noodles, and waffles were all delicious. The front desk and concierge staff were all very professional and proactive, quick to respond. They truly deserve praise. The pool design is also very thoughtful, with a small hot spring pool. In the morning, when the sun shines on it, it's absolutely beautiful. The steps and stone materials around the pool blend seamlessly with the environment. The family room was originally a corner room with a portable bed added. The portable bed was a bit short and the mattress was soft. Because the hotel is older, the outlets have been retrofitted. You can also see the effort put into maintenance from the cleanliness and attention to detail. However, the facilities are indeed old; the bathroom door was hard to slide open and close, and the cabinet doors were also worn. It's precisely because of its age that we were able to stay at a hotel with this location and service for this price. Very satisfied.

For our Mid-Autumn Festival staycation with our 7-month-old baby, we chose the jungle-themed family room at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. Before check-in, our butler, Ms. Silvia, contacted us in advance to arrange a bed rail and connecting beds, and also pre-booked afternoon tea for us. The room was full of childlike charm, and our baby was incredibly curious and captivated by everything. The hotel's lawn was also perfect for playing. The room was clean and hygienic, with a great view, directly overlooking the Liangma River. The staff were enthusiastic, interacting warmly with our baby, and even left small mooncakes during turn-down service. The breakfast, delicatessen, and Paulaner Bräuhaus all offered good quality food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay! The only issue was that there's no direct elevator from the underground parking to the lobby, which was inconvenient when handling luggage.

My family and I chose Jen Hotel for a quick getaway during the November holiday. This is one of the most value-for-money hotels I've ever stayed in. This time, I booked a room with executive lounge access, which included breakfast, in-room breakfast delivery, and a two-person dinner at Sanwu Tang in the evening. We had a smooth check-in around 5 PM. The front desk staff asked us which direction we preferred for our room, and we chose one facing the 'Big Trousers' building (CCTV Headquarters). During check-in, the front desk also helped us book a dinner reservation at Sanwu Tang. After dropping off our luggage, we headed straight for dinner. Sanwu Tang is a buffet restaurant specializing in Beijing cuisine, offering a complete selection of local delicacies like 'baodu' (tripe), 'luzhu' (stewed offal), 'chaogan' (stir-fried liver), 'douzhi' (fermented mung bean juice), 'zhajiangmian' (fried sauce noodles), and roast duck. Of course, they also have international dishes like beef, lamb chops, and salmon sashimi. If you're a first-time visitor to Beijing and don't want to wander around the streets, you can try all these dishes in one place. Wang Yajuan, a server at the restaurant, thoughtfully explained the food stations and brought us the exclusive drinks menu for executive lounge guests, which we greatly appreciated. (Regular paying guests also have drinks, but the variety is much smaller than for executive lounge guests). This drink menu included four types of craft beer and Evian sparkling water, which instantly made the value for money skyrocket. Plus, the restaurant was filled with Beijing cultural elements, making for a very comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast on the second day was also in the style of Beijing snacks, which I loved, so I won't go into detail. By the way, the online reviews for Sanwu Tang aren't very high, but I think those low-score reviews are unfair. Because Sanwu Tang's main focus is Beijing flavors, both the style and the food are authentic Beijing local dishes. Objectively speaking, some dishes might not be well-received by non-locals, leading to low scores. But if you like these flavors, trust me, go for it with your eyes closed – you definitely won't be disappointed. I also want to mention the gym; it's the largest I've seen in any hotel I've stayed at, with the widest variety of equipment. No luxury hotel in China can compare. Location: The hotel is in Chaoyang District, and since most of the places I wanted to visit in Beijing this time were nearby, it was quite convenient to get around. Room Facilities: Although the hotel has been around for many years, it's an artistic hotel, and the more time passes, the more character it develops. Just like the artwork on the front desk's background wall says, 'The Rose of Time,' it made me think of Bei Dao's poem: 'When the brush draws the horizon, you are awakened by the gong of the East, and blooming in the echo is the rose of time…' Breakfast: Breakfast is served on the first floor at LIQA, a Turkish restaurant. I'm not sure if it's the same team that handles breakfast and regular meal times, but the main courses, desserts, and drinks for breakfast were all excellent 👍. Parking: To get from the parking lot to the guest rooms, you need to go to the first floor and then transfer to another elevator. There are plenty of parking spaces. Just remember to register your license plate number at the front desk; I paid almost 200 yuan the first day because I forgot. Service: Absolutely fantastic! We received welcome fruits, desserts, a card, and drinks. There was bottled water everywhere, unopened pens, and a whole toiletry bag of amenities. The disposable hotel slippers were exceptionally comfortable, which is a rare and pleasant surprise. Housekeeping was prompt but never intrusive. They even gave my daughter the room card as a souvenir. I heard the swimming pool and gym are excellent, but I didn't get a chance to experience them this time as I was traveling with my child. I'll definitely check them out next time, haha.

The room was clean and tidy with good lighting, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. The staff were friendly and patiently answered all our questions. Even with a large number of guests during the holiday, the service remained consistently excellent and attentive. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Beijing.

However, the hotel entrance was very chaotic, with bellhops busy collecting food deliveries and not opening or closing car doors. If it weren't for the very thoughtful birthday arrangements, I would be dissatisfied with the service. At the bar, it took a long time for the staff to even notice us. The toothpaste and toothbrushes felt a bit cheap, and the layout wasn't a traditional suite; it was no different from a king-size room, with no separate living room and bedroom. It was also very easy to slip between the bathtub and the shower.
