This hotel's location is right in the heart of Beijing. It's a 5-minute walk to the Line 1 and Line 2 subway entrances, directly across the street, making it super convenient to get to famous attractions like Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square. The hotel lobby has a very luxurious feel. The bedding in the rooms is clean and high-quality, and the electric curtains add a nice touch. What I really loved was the toilet with all its functions. I expected dining at a five-star hotel like this to be quite expensive, but I was genuinely surprised by the affordable prices. Three or four waitstaff rotated to serve dishes and pour tea, and the Peking duck was many times better than some other famous duck restaurants. Both the hotel facilities and the quality of the staff reflect the high and professional management standards of this hotel. If you're coming to Beijing, you must stay at Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong!

I've traveled many times, but this was by far the best experience! The hotel staff were warm and professional, the facilities were comprehensive, and it was exceptionally clean. The location is superb; just a short walk from the front entrance to Tiananmen Square, and out the back to Dongjiaomin Lane. There's also a beautiful ginkgo tree in the central courtyard. It's truly a peaceful oasis in a bustling area. They upgraded me to a suite and even gave me a small gift. Most importantly, I urgently needed to use a computer for work, and the front desk personally escorted me to the business center, which was a lifesaver. I'm very grateful! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing! Thanks again for the hotel's warm hospitality!

Staying at the Legendale Hotel with my children was an exceptionally pleasant experience. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The hotel's European-style decor is grand and appealing, the environment is quiet and clean, and the room hygiene is impeccable. The beds were soft and comfortable. The front desk and service staff were all gentle and thoughtful, paying attention to small details. Overall, it felt luxurious yet welcoming. This stay was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.

My overall stay exceeded expectations; I was very satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and many shops nearby, making it easy to get around and dine. The common areas are clean, quiet, and have a comfortable atmosphere. The room was meticulously cleaned, and facilities like the bathroom and lighting were well-maintained. The bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were gentle and friendly, handling check-in and check-out efficiently. They patiently answered questions, providing thoughtful service. The room's soundproofing was effective, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise. This hotel is suitable for both leisure and business travel, offering good value for money. I'll prioritize this hotel next time I visit the area, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone.

Upon checking in, Miss Zoe at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic. When I asked about upgrading my room type, she immediately and proactively helped me check and change it, quickly finding me a room with a better view. She was patient and polite throughout our conversation, very efficient, and took the initiative to explain the hotel facilities. Her attention to detail showed thoughtful service, and she was serious and responsible in addressing guest needs. She's an excellent front desk staff member! 👍

Let's start with the positives: Firstly, the location is excellent. Right outside the entrance is Chongwenmen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all the major attractions. This is definitely the hotel's biggest selling point. Secondly, the staff are very service-oriented. Their customer care, from booking to check-out, was impressive, and the front desk was quick to help guests resolve issues during my stay. Now for the areas that need improvement: As it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite basic and dated. The lighting is also on the dim side, especially in the elevators. The rooms show signs of age, with some water stains and black mold visible in the bathroom, and dust accumulation in the corners of the wardrobe door tracks. During this stay, the first room (B213) had a strong odor from the bathroom drain, so with the help of the front desk, I moved to a different room (B559). However, the air conditioning in the second room was not very effective; even at its lowest setting, the room temperature stayed around 27 degrees Celsius, making it feel a bit stuffy in the mornings or at midday. Overall, considering the price, Xinqiao Hotel offers acceptable value for money in the city center. My suggestions for the hotel are: 1. Replace the lighting with brighter white lights to make the place feel less dated. 2. Increase the frequency of maintenance for drainage pipes and the central air conditioning system. 3. Improve the cleanliness of room corners, particularly in the bathrooms.

During my middle school entrance exam, I needed a quiet place to rest during the day. The hotel specifically assigned us to the 12th floor, which was very quiet. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff on our floor, Tang Yan and Liu Yongqiang, were incredibly friendly and responsible. Knowing I was an exam taker, they made sure my room was ready in advance so I could rest peacefully. The view from the window was also quite nice.

The room was tiny, I mean, really tiny. There was no space for luggage; if you put it on the floor, you couldn't walk. I originally booked a windowless room, and they said they upgraded me to one with a window, but it faced a wall about 50 centimeters away. So, open or closed, it was dark, and if you opened it, all you heard was the buzzing of the AC unit outside, so it was better to keep it shut. The breakfast was good, and the location was decent. I don't understand why hotel ratings are always so high nowadays. It's because after you book, the front desk chases you for a 5-star review. This practice really needs to be addressed.

I put my parents in a separate room at this hotel and they were upgraded when we checked in, which was very kind of the staff. Their room had a more classic feel compared to ours, but it was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. They appreciated the free mini bar (sodas and water) and the convenient location. Service was consistently good. Breakfast wasn’t anything special and could be better, but it was sufficient. Their AC turned off once in the middle of the night but they fixed it. Overall my parents were happy with the stay and the hotel treated us well.

This is my second time staying at Peace Hotel, first time was in 2017. This time we stayed at the newer West Wing. We initially had only planned to stay one night but decided to extend our stay and stayed 5 nights this visit. The hotel gave us a voucher for complimentary art workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and so did my nieces. Location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance to few subway stations and just one block away from downtown commercial shopping. Staff are friendly, great breakfast selection, rooms are, clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff are very polite and friendly, they are constantly maintaining the cleanliness and tidyness of the space. We did not get a chance to use the pool, as the day goes by it gets pretty busy with kids, swimming cap is mandatory and can be purchased from the gym trainers. The laundry room was convenient (3 washer, 3 dryer), detergent supplied, but the dryer takes a long time to fully dry so we ended up airing our clothes in our suite. If I return to Beijing again in the future, I will definitely book this hotel again.

Location is excellent - near to most of the popular attractions and right next to the famous 四季民福. Service was not as great however - some staffs looked like they wish they were somewhere else. Only one staff (a lady with specs) was helpful and tried her best to assist us. Checked out early in the morning and the staff was sleeping at the reception. Washing machine was constantly occupied so plan your laundry wisely. Breakfast was amazing though - good variety and tasted good. Be early otherwise all the indoor seats might be taken up.

Breakfast: I really liked the breakfast; everything was to my taste. Service: The service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. We received fruit upon check-in and a lovely gift upon check-out: two eye masks and a nut gift box, which was a very nice touch. Room: The room was decent, and the accompanying Pu'er tea was fantastic. We stayed on the second floor, but I'd love to try a first-floor courtyard room next time. Afternoon Tea: The bayberry and lychee drink was especially delicious, as was the plum tea. It was also a great spot for photos. Exploring the courtyard was a pleasant experience. Transportation: Qianmen Street and Dashilar are right nearby, offering plenty of convenient food options. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, and getting around by bike is very easy.

The apex of Beijing, where the true heart of luxury beats! — A perfect stay at Kerry Hotel Beijing from July 25th-26th If Beijing is a flowing feast, then the Guomao CBD is its most dazzling stage, and Kerry Hotel Beijing sits right in the center of it. During this stay, I truly experienced what it means to “be amidst the bustle, yet privately enjoy luxury.” Arriving on the afternoon of the 25th, from the moment I stepped into the lobby, that grand sense of tranquility isolated me from the noise outside the window. The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. The lounge's food, whether afternoon tea or evening happy hour, offered such a vast variety that it was hard to choose. The breakfast at 'Jia Pin Restaurant' on the morning of the 26th absolutely won me over—there were 7 ways to prepare eggs alone, plus fresh grapefruit. These kinds of details are truly a huge plus! Although I know this hotel is a representative of the 'old money' opened in 1999, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! This is definitely the most 'aristocratic' hotel I've stayed at in Beijing, second to none! ♥️

Every summer weekend, I spend a couple of days at the Commune by the Great Wall, embracing nature – it's incredibly relaxing. A special thanks to Olivier Wang. Because I stayed there a few times last summer, Ms. Wang knew I love swimming and specifically arranged a room right next to the pool. It was so convenient to just step out and be at the swimming pool. This year, the hotel has added a lot of snacks, fruits, and even smoothies in the front desk lounge area. They've also added plenty of towels for guests to use at the outdoor pool area. The restaurant still offers live cooking stations, and the food is as delicious as ever.

We had such a fantastic time bringing our child to the Le Du Port Marriott this trip! My child was participating in a robotics competition, and after adding the hotel's butler, Skyller, on WeChat, they pre-checked us in so my child could rest during lunchtime. We learned it was also my child's birthday that day, and they even prepared balloons and a small cake, which made my child incredibly happy. Any requests were promptly addressed. A huge thumbs up to Skyller! 👍 The room was spacious and clean, and the children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared; the small slippers and toothbrush made my child feel really involved. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and there was even a dedicated children's serving area, making mealtime enjoyable for my little one and stress-free for us. The pool temperature was just right for splashing around and enjoying the hot springs with the kids, plus there's a children's play area. It was a truly special birthday, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this to families looking for a 'one-stop' destination for kids around Beijing.

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

The location is super convenient, near Dengshikou subway station, making it easy to access food, drinks, and entertainment. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they've made efforts to renovate in small areas, such as the bedside and desk, adding outlets and power strips, which was very helpful for my work and meetings. I do think the showerhead should be replaced with a larger one and the water pressure improved. The breakfast seemed diverse, but not many items were particularly tasty. The hot dishes were average, and the juice wasn't natural, definitely not up to five-star standards. Firstly, the hotel's environment and facilities are excellent. However, for a hotel of this caliber, I can only give it a bad review. The service is extremely poor and lacks professional hotel management knowledge. During check-in, the front desk staff missed many details that should have been communicated, and their business handling skills and techniques need improvement. Next, I'd like to specifically mention Mark from the concierge department, whose attitude was extremely hostile, arrogant, and disrespectful. I promised you a bad review, and you'll certainly get it! I have no idea how hotel management trains their staff. After Mark learned I was a Black Diamond member, he repeatedly incited his colleagues to harass me by phone, asking me to 'go easy on them,' which brings me to the second person. The second person I'd like to name is Zhao Jing, Assistant Director of Housekeeping. I genuinely **cannot** understand how someone like this can become a mid-level manager at a hotel like InterContinental. After Mark's colleagues repeatedly harassed me by phone, I intended to give them a break. I mentioned that I had booked two rooms, and my other guest was about to arrive at the hotel to check in. I asked them to provide good service. Zhao Jing, I ask you, why in the world did you **harass** my guest when the issue was between us!? My guest reported that from check-in to riding the elevator to their room door, a staff member (Zhao Jing) kept pestering them to speak well of me and 'go easy on them'? She relentlessly badgered them the entire way. Any issues between us can be resolved directly. I had clearly stated that it was my guest. Do you, as someone who works in a hotel, not understand the meaning of the word 'guest'? I ask you! Why did you go and harass my guest?! Is this the InterContinental hotel's way of service? Who would dare bring important guests to this hotel with service like this? Furthermore, Zhao Jing repeatedly harassed me from the afternoon of check-in, to the evening, and until the next morning, despite me having clearly told her at least six or seven times, 'I do not want to receive any more texts or calls from you.' Buddy, I came to the hotel to rest. Otherwise, I could just go argue with people on a bridge all day, couldn't I? Before checking out, I had the opportunity to communicate in person with General Manager Mr. Mao. I hope Mr. Mao handles this properly, and I would like to thank him for arranging a car for my departure. On a positive note, I can commend the chef at the hotel's Chinese restaurant on the third floor; their cooking is quite skillful.
