Since 26 July 2023, China has resumed the 15-day visa free facility for Singaporeans travelling to China on ordinary passports for business, tourism, family visit, and transit purposes.

Be prepared to present essential documents such as a valid passport, accurately filled-out application form, recent passport-sized photos, travel itinerary, and, in some cases, proof of accommodation and financial means to cover your stay.

To ensure the safety of travelers and the local population, China has implemented certain COVID-19 testing requirements for entry into the country. Starting from 29 April 2023, significant changes have been made to the COVID-19 testing protocol for entry into China. The once-mandatory nucleic acid tests (PCR) have taken a back seat, and travelers now have the alternative of opting for a home rapid antigen test (RAT) prior to their journey.

Airlines are no longer obligated to conduct COVID-19 test checks before passengers board their flights bound for China. Moreover, upon arrival in China, travelers won't encounter mandatory testing requirements at the airport.

While mandatory tests are no longer in effect, spot checks may be conducted by border authorities. Travelers must ensure they possess their health declaration code, which they obtain after duly completing the health declaration form. Be ready for the possibility of spot checks conducted by vigilant border authorities.

Great location - subway is 5 min walk. We liked service very much: everyone in the hotel is friendly and ready to help. Cleaning service is also very good. We stayed in a family deluxe room where there were enough space for 4 of us, big bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows. One minus about our room is the lack of storage space for clothes and different personal things. Great breakfasts - wide variety of food and drinks, fruits, sweets, vegetables, fried eggs, yogurt and so on. We thank the hotel staff for hospitality and nice service!

Have lived here many times.Spotless, comfortable and easy accessible place. The hotel was a five star experience, but I've never been in an hotel that provided more than a roll of toilet paper. The pool offered the right amount of zen after a long day at the theme parks. Amazing receptionist Rose and housekeeper Wang very quick to response. Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Thank you guys, will definitely be back.

Amazing stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel as one of the best I have ever stayed in. We were upgraded for our honeymoon and provided with a wonderful welcome decoration. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, service is impeccable. Room service 24h with great choices and quality. Important to highlight that all staff at reception speak English (I read some reviews where other were complaining about the missing English-speaking staff), so for sure the hotel has done a great step ahead in this sense to welcome more international guests. I would love to be back one day!

We love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well

As a photographer, location and views are everything - and JEN Hotel delivers on both. Waking up to breathtaking scenery is a treat, but what truly elevates the experience is the exceptional hospitality. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, making every interaction seamless and pleasant. The food? On another level - every meal feels like an experience in itself. And for those who prioritize fitness, the gym is not just there for show; it’s fully functional and well equipped. A golden hotel in every sense - so good, you won’t even need to consider alternatives.

i seldom leave reviews, and i just had to do this because of a housekeeping lady. her surname should be Yang if i'm not wrong. i had a high fever running on my last night there, and due to the cold weather, i had to seek help from the front desk staff to have medication delivered to my room. at one point, they had assigned a housekeeping lady (not certain if that's her designation but.. well..) she went the extra mile to help relief my fever when medication didn't seem to work. she even checked in on me, and prepared honey etc, and even offered to call an ambulance in chase things got worse. all these, just to make sure i got better. kudos to the team, and yeap, this little extra warmth meant alot to me. i wouldn't have imagined if i would have made my returning trip should the lady just do her regular job to just pass me medication.

Hotel had read our pre-arrival request and gave us connecting king and twin room. Perfect for a family of four and with a good view too. Super comfortable beds, staff could not do enough to help and free minibar was an added perk!

I like this hotel very-very much. The room is spacious and comfortable. It's very-very clean, I like the design that the sink is outside the toilet/bathroom where you can wash and brush your teeh separately and the other roommate can bathe inside the bathroom so faster to get ready for strolling. The staff are friendly and helpful. It offers a good buffet breakfast at CNY 98,breakfast time is 6-10am. A lot of guests stay in this hotel. It's 6 minutes walking distance from Chongwenmen station Exit D. Once come out of the station you have to cross on the other side of the road. Walk over to the traffic lights and cross. Just look oppositely from the station & you can see very big building of Beijing XinQiao Hotel. They provide coffee/tea/slippers, shampoos, toothbrush, comb. It's only 1 station away to Qianmen station (Forbidden City). Around the hotel area , just walk & you can find bakery, restaurant and grocery shops.

That was our second stay in the hotel, so I'll just add some updates about our experience here. It's mostly positive again. The room we stayed this time was on the last floor so the view on the skyscrapers of financial district was amazing 🤩 do not hesitate to add personal presences while booking the room, cause hotel managers really pay attention at them. The room was nice and clean again, the only thing that dissatisfied me was the air conditioning. It wasn't working on a heating mode, so we were a bit cold. And if you have long hair like me you'll definitely face some inconvenience of using very very weak hairdryer. The rest is good for reasonable price.

The location of this hotel is great. Walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street and metro station.the room that I booked was at B1 level, which is the basement floor. The conceige staff who helped us to check in was offering us upper floor but with additional charges hence we didnt accept his offer. We didn't get to sleep well due to the noise from level 1 hence I raised to the staff. They helped to upgrade and change our room to level 3 and the room was much better. Happy with the service and stay.

This used to be Penta Hotel, now rebranded as new world tongpai. Located just behind New World Shopping Centre. If you are using the subway, please use Exit C or Exit H. Can also enter into M Cube Shopping Mall on LG floor and exit from Tim Coffee/Tours Bakery (ground floor) if u r using metro. The hotel entrance is just accross the road. Hotel lobby is modern. Room wise is ok and quite nice. Bathroom is slightly dated, and there's some mould between tiles gap. Otherwise, everything else in the room works fine. Their buffet breakfast is good for a 4 star hotel. Overall, if u want a hotel near the subway and surrounded by malls, this hotel is a good choice

pros: Very nice hotel located close to downtown beijing, only a few subway stations away from most major attractions and surrounded by a bunch of local places to eat. The room was very well laid out and clean, it had a very nice view and came with a good amount of amenities and storage for clothes luggage etc. The breakfast in the morning was above average and had a large selection and seating space. GALAXY SOHO mall is within view after walking a block and there are a lot of stores and upscale places to eat and shop in that area. The hotel wifi is one of the better that i’ve used and is reliable for work and recreational use. cons: The hotel is located almost directly in the middle of the two nearest subway stations with close to a mile walk to each so this commute is not for the faint hearted you will be doing a lot of walking. The rooms get very hot during the day and will be almost unbearable to stay in if you accidentally leave the curtains open and let it heat up. AC is not provided until closer to summer so keep this in mind unless you’re staying after May.

The room was clean and the location was convenient, which we appreciated. I love this hotel, it’s beautiful with big rooms and a great breakfast. It’s is so pretty and the grounds are gorgeous. It would be a definite 5 stars if they fix one thing. They tell you when you check in that there can be a mosquito issue because it is in the park and there is a lot of vegetation. So, they give you this little mosquito repellant thing, which is nice but the best thing would be to not have mosquitos. In the room, we started looking and there are occasional squished mosquitos on the walls and ceilings and we killed 2 mosquitos while we were there. I don’t think we got bit by them though so it’s not as ifs an infestation. It really is just an occasional mosquito. But, the doors are often open even though the building is cool. The windows are constantly open too. When we come back to our room, the windows are ajar and while cleaning, they keep the room doors open to the hallway where the windows are open. Just closing the windows and doors and relying on the air conditioning would probably solve the problem and this would be a fantastic, amazing hotel. If the hotel responds to this with a mosquito plan, then I would absolutely stay there again and recommend everybody else do too. This is definitely a 5 star hotel with a solvable problem.

Located at the foot of Beijing's imperial city, the Waldorf Astoria Courtyard Hotel perfectly blends traditional Beijing charm with luxurious services, creating a quiet and peaceful place for guests hidden in the bustling city. The courtyard surrounded by blue bricks and gray tiles, carved beams and painted buildings complement the contemporary art furnishings. In the morning, you can hear the sound of wind chimes on the eaves, and when you return home at night, the stone path has quietly lit up the warm yellow courtyard lights. The housekeeping team has engraved ”guests first” into the details: Ella took us in and taught us how to use the room card. From serving seasonal cakes and fruits, welcome gifts, to birthday cakes and champagne in the afternoon, Judy also prepared coffee for us, and Xiao Xiong personally brewed coffee for us. Will enthusiastically took the initiative to help us take photos and take luggage for our couple. From adjusting the fragrance of the room according to the weather to secretly recommending the best time to shoot in the corner tower for photography enthusiasts - this oriental hospitality that seems to be able to predict needs has made countless travelers sigh in their comments that ”the service is like a spring breeze, without a trace but appropriate everywhere.” When the morning light of the Forbidden City passes through the courtyard, staying here has already surpassed the accommodation experience and has become a local cultural therapy that awakens the five senses.
