The location was great — walking distance to Ximending, with Watsons, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven just around the corner.
The room was decent and came with basic shower amenities. However, there were noticeable stains on the bed sheets and carpet, and a slight musty smell when we entered.
Out of more than six power outlets, only one worked for charging phones or power banks. We had to take turns charging our devices. When we reported it to the reception, the staff seemed unwilling to help and even suggested that our phones might be the problem. To make matters worse, when I asked to borrow a plug, they said it would cost NTD 200. Even in the reception area, only one outlet worked.
The reception area offered free coffee and snacks, but the coffee options were limited to espresso and americano. The espresso was watered down, and the americano dispenser was almost empty — the two male staff didn’t bother to check or refill it.
When we checked out, the two female staff members seemed unaware of the issue we had reported. They didn’t ask how our stay was — they simply took back our access cards and said, “Everything’s okay.”
