"Worth it for its price. The location is super near the Ximending Walking District and other nearby convenience stores (711, Family Mart). It’s also near to the famous places like The Red House, etc. Easy access to MRT. For the room, we booked a standard double room, requested for a windowed room & bathtub since we have an infant so it’s easy for us to take a bath, and our request was granted. They also have housekeeping everyday to replenish tissue and change towels (also beddings if you wanted to have them changed, but they support ecological cleanliness, so ideally, they just change sheets after your entire stay for the new guest/s). For the ambiance, it was ok, too. Simple. The only con that I experienced during our stay was- that the soundproofing isn’t good. You can hear the water drops from another room’s CR and heavy footsteps from above. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Will still recommend it if you’re not too picky and sensitive and wanted to stay on a budget. 👍🏻"

"I had a room with a shower though a shared toilet - not a problem as the toilets were always clean and close to my room. The room felt spacious as it had the sofa area under the platform bed. The bed was comfortable and had lights/power sockets up at the platform. Even though there was no kitchen there was fridge/freezer, microwave and hot/cold water dispenser that can be used. There are tables and chairs in the common area. As advertised it is basement with no windows , did not feel claustrophobic to me. Points to consider: - need to bring own towels or hire one - There are steps that roll out to climb on the platform bed, it was very stable though I would have felt more stable if there was something to hold on to with my right hand - no way to turn off main light while in the platform do either have to climb up in dark or climb up , turn on bed light then climb down to turn off main light then back up again. Location: convenient to get so as direct line from Songshan airport to Xiamen station. 10 min walk to hotel. I used NYU hospital stop for getting around as it was closer. The hotel is just a couple mins walk from peace park which is a lovely place to sit and relax."

"Tango Hotel Taipei ChangAn is honestly super clean. The service is tip-top, and the breakfast selection changes daily (it didn’t feel repetitive at all). I loved the room—spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you’d need. One detail I really appreciated: they even provided a 3-pin power plug/adapter, which is perfect for guests coming from countries that use that type. Highly recommended!"

"First time visiting Beitou, and it was so close to Thermal Valley. The room was comfortable. Even though I saw some ants in the room, the location was excellent and the staff were very polite. I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance."

"In the heart of XMD (exit 6). A basic capsule hotel. Common toilet and shower. For ladies there are 3 toilets and 4 showers so need to time your baths and hygienes. Only towel provided. Water can get yours refilled at the help desk. There is disposable cups too.other amenities like toothbrush shampoo pads etc can be purchased at the desk. Need to return key everytime you head out and collect when you return from 24/7 helpdesk. No eating in room, however there is small communal dining area to have your food. If you have problem with Uber eats / food panda can either go around small shops nearby to eat or during breakfast time can order breakfast delivery/pickup via LINE with their neighbour {black /white}. Yummy toast."

"The location is very convenient with the Simen MRT just a short walk away. It's good if one plans to use the MRT frequently. It's easy to walk around the whole Simending area from the hotel. Did not try any food at the hotel as one is spoilt for choice in terms of food from the Ximending area. The air-conditioner was not working properly from the first day, as it was very warm and couldn't be adjusted. Called for someone to take a look and was told they would come immediately. Waited but no one came. Called again and was told they would come by later. We were going out and they reassured us that their service staff would come by accompanied by another staff. Shortly after the call, the service staff arrived, unaccompanied. It was just as well we had not left. The room is big but the design has not been well thought out. The sink is located outside the bathroom. Its design (low sink) and mirror behind means, when one uses it to wash face etc water is splashed around and the floor gets wet. However, the hotel does not provide any more towels other than those given so one has to move the floor towel(mat) between the bathroom and the sink outside. The lighting system is also not very convenient. We had 2 double beds but there was no way to control the lighting so that if one party wanted to sleep, the other party could read. The TV system (with the box hidden behind the TV itself) frequently had signal issues. It was common to be unable to change the channel or the signage No signal would appear frequently either early in the morning or late at night. We also had a bathroom where the floor just in front of the WC had a slight damage in the form of a black patch which however looked very unsightly. It would have been good if the hotel had done something to make it look better as it left a poor impression. We had requested for a quiet room. Unfortunately, almost every night/morning there were people talking loudly or kids shouting. Overall, if one does not plan to spend time in the bathroom, it would be a good choice just for the location and convenience."
