Travel to Shanghai

Shanghai is a coastal megacity where East meets West. As China's global financial hub, it blends colonial-era architecture along the Bund with the sci-fi skyline of Lujiazui. Traditional lilong alleys wind behind trendy cafés, while art deco landmarks sit beside sleek skyscrapers. From street food bites to Michelin-starred dining, Shanghai is bold, stylish, and always on the move.

This branch is Ji hotel Shanghai The Bund Jinling East Road. This is our second time staying here. We just came back on March 26, 2025. Because it is convenient and very close to the train station, we chose this place. It is very close to Yuyuan Garden, less than 200 meters away. You can walk to The Bund and walk all the way to Nanjing Road. It is very long. There are restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. It is very convenient. 🎀🤍🫧💫 #Shanghai hotel #Shanghai accommodation #jihotelshanghai #Shanghai2025 #Travel China #shanghai

Hello, today I will review Lounge No.39 at Shanghai Pudong Airport PVG, Terminal 1.

🚽 There are several seating areas in the lounge, with clean bathrooms and showers inside.

🍜 You can choose from a food line prepared by the lounge or order food at the counter. There are about 5 menus, such as Xiao Long Bao.

🍷 There are many drinks to choose from, including soft drinks 🍺 or liquor or wine.

There is a screen inside the lounge showing the flights of people using the lounge, so you can see the status of each flight more easily. It is very convenient.

#TravelChina Take a trip to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town or "Venice of Shanghai" because there are small canals running through the city. The houses along the canals still maintain ancient Chinese architecture. There are more than 30 arched stone bridges connecting the road to the canals for us to walk around and enjoy.

Here, you can take a wooden boat to see the atmosphere and take beautiful pictures at every corner. Don't miss the local food and various fried foods sold on the roadside. They taste good and are not expensive. They are perfect for foodies. Zhujiajiao is a city suitable for walking, taking pictures, and experiencing the ancient Chinese way of life. It is suitable for a half-day trip.

🚇 Travel: From downtown Shanghai, you can take subway line 17 to Zhujiajiao Station, which is very convenient. Then walk a little bit more and you will reach the old city.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, accessible from Shanghai via subway line 17, has many wonderful teahouses and cafes.

I visited Nanxiangge, a teahouse that had a strong presence near the bridge. The interior has a wonderful retro Chinese-style interior and there are various types of seats.

This time I was guided to a seat along the river.
Drinking tea while looking at the view outside feels elegant. The weather is good in April, and the gentle breeze makes time pass slowly.
I would definitely like to come and drink tea again. Next time I come, I would like to sit in a different seat.

There’s something magical about springtime in Shanghai — the air turns warmer, the skies brighter, and the streets come alive with color. One of the most enchanting spots to soak it all in is none other than 武康路 (Wu Kang Lu), a tree-lined boulevard steeped in history, charm, and effortless style.

I spent a lazy spring afternoon wandering down this iconic street, where the tulips 🌷 were in full bloom, each one like a little celebration of the season. Their pastel petals swayed gently under the shade of old French plane trees, casting dappled shadows over the pavement. It felt like walking through a living postcard.

What made the experience even more special was the moment I spotted a lovely flower stand tucked by the roadside. The blooms were fresh and vibrant — I picked out a bouquet of soft pinks and creams 💐 that seemed to mirror the soft, romantic mood of the day. Carrying it in hand just added to the dreamy aesthetic of the whole experience.

Wu Kang Lu isn’t just beautiful — it’s alive. Cafés with chic outdoor seating spilled onto the sidewalks, the aroma of fresh brews and baked treats wafting through the air ☕️. Locals and tourists alike lounged with their coffee, chatting quietly or simply soaking in the sun. Everything about the place felt slow, relaxed, and effortlessly elegant.

Whether you’re here for the blooms, the boutiques, or just the vibes — Wu Kang Lu in spring is an absolute must. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t just look good in photos, but feels even better in real life. A quiet escape in the middle of a bustling city, where spring truly comes to life.

— where petals fall, coffee warms, and streets bloom softly —

Wandering through Yuyuan Road in spring feels like walking inside a vintage postcard.
The golden sun peeks through tall plane trees ☀️, landing gently on old brick walls and sleepy cafés. A breeze carries the scent of fresh bread and Little Bear Café’s signature espresso 🐻☕— warm, toasty, and kind of like a hug.

I drift past Urumqi Middle Road, where balconies bloom with baby’s breath and hydrangeas 🌿. Every corner feels like it belongs in a soft pastel film.
Then I reach Anfu Road, my heart’s comfort lane. Locals bask under sunlight, sipping oat lattes and flipping through art books.
Inside 13 de Marzo — everything glows: linen shirts, dusty rose palettes, lemon candles — a shop that speaks in whispers.

Near Yuanwulu (Wuyuan Rd + friends), the world slows down.
Here, the pavement is laced with flower shadows, and every café feels like home. A matcha basque, a vase of daisies, a quiet page turned — moments like poetry.
Tagi awaits nearby, a shop of “everything I love but never needed until now” — wood, stone, scents, and soul.

And then… Wukang Road. Oh, she’s a dream.
Bougainvillea tumbles down balconies like ribbons, couples twirl for film cameras, and the breeze tucks cherry petals into your coat pockets.
It’s the kind of street where even silence feels romantic ✨.

Spring in Shanghai isn’t loud — it’s soft, slow, and breathtaking.
A cup of coffee. A bloom on your sleeve. A street that remembers your steps. #springitinerary

Review of Ahgase Handicraft, a very popular taro mochi milk tea shop with a very long queue.
It is recommended to order in advance on WeChat and then pick it up. Otherwise, you will have to wait at least 1 hour. The menu you should order is the very delicious taro mochi milk tea. The taro goes well with the mochi. It has a slightly salty taste, not too sweet. It is so delicious that it comes out of your mouth and is very fattening. But it is totally worth it. There are many branches in major cities in China. We came to Shanghai. There are many branches.

🕰️ Opening hours: 10:00-22:00
💰Price: taro mochi milk tea 29 yuan

There’s something magical about spring in Shanghai 🌸. The city awakens with a soft vibrancy—bougainvillea blooms spill over balconies, streets hum with life 🚶♀️, and the air feels just a bit more poetic ✨. Nestled right in the heart of it all is a hotel that seems to mirror this mood perfectly: The Yangtze Boutique Shanghai 🏨.

Stepping up to the building feels like entering a romantic film set 🎬. The hotel’s grand Art Deco façade rises with timeless elegance, adorned with cascading red flowers 🌺 and—unexpectedly delightful—pink flamingo plushies 🦩 perched on balcony railings, adding a playful splash of whimsy. It’s these quirky little touches that make you stop and smile 😊.

The Yangtze isn’t just about good looks—it’s a portal to Shanghai’s golden era, with interiors that echo the 1930s while still offering modern comfort 🛋️. I stayed during late spring, when the light filters in gently through the tall windows and the city outside seems to glow 🌞.

Downstairs, the Japanese restaurant tucked within the hotel surprises with its refined menu 🍣: think buttery sashimi, foie gras, sizzling yakitori, and hearty nabe—comforting and warm against the breezy weather outside 🌬️.

After soaking in the nostalgic vibes, I took a slow springtime stroll over to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (南京路步行街) 🛍️. It’s just minutes away, and walking there felt like stepping through Shanghai’s beating heart. Street performers, flower carts, and the golden glow of heritage buildings made it feel like a scene from a dreamy travel journal ✨.

What I loved most was simply standing on the little balcony of my room 🌆, watching the soft city buzz below, red petals swaying in the breeze, flamingos standing guard, and feeling entirely transported. The Yangtze Boutique doesn’t just offer a place to sleep—it offers a moment of poetic stillness amidst the city’s rhythm.

If you’re planning a spring trip to Shanghai and want somewhere with heart, history, and a hint of charm, this is the place ❤️. You’ll come for the elegance, but stay for the flamingos 🦩. #springitinerary

Spring in Shanghai is like a dream woven with soft breezes and blooming flowers. Along the Huangpu River, cherry blossoms dance with the fresh green leaves of plane trees, painting the city in pastel hues. And there, piercing the sky, stands the **Oriental Pearl Tower**—its glittering spheres like diamonds strung on a thread of light, watching over countless love stories.

🌸 Spring Blooms Beneath the Tower
At **Lujiazui Green Park**, early cherry blossoms and tulips bloom in delicate pinks and reds, their fragility contrasting with the tower’s bold steel silhouette. As the sun sets, golden light bathes the Pearl Tower, and couples stroll hand in hand along the Bund, sealing this moment in memory.

### 🌃 **A Night of Neon and Whispers**
When night falls, the Oriental Pearl Tower ignites the sky with its dazzling light show. The **glass-bottomed observation deck** at 267 meters becomes the ultimate test—and reward—for lovers. Standing above the sparkling city, with all of Shanghai stretched beneath your feet, even the spring wind carries traces of sweet promises.

### 🍃 **A Silent Dialogue Across the River**
From the historic **Bund**, the Pearl Tower peers through the spring mist, its reflection shimmering on the Huangpu River. Ferries glide by, weaving ripples into the water, as if time itself slows down. Here, old Shanghai’s charm and the city’s futuristic skyline merge into poetry.

**"In the arc of falling cherry petals, I see the Oriental Pearl Tower smile."**
This spring, come to Shanghai—let the Pearl Tower be the witness to your romance.

Spring in Shanghai feels like a breath of fresh air 🌱. The days are crisp but gentle, and the city blooms with energy and color at every turn. It’s the perfect season for wandering, and I spent mine soaking up the vibrant streets and cozy moments.

I started the day with a quiet stroll, surrounded by delicate flowers and soft sunlight 🌞. The peaceful vibe made me feel like I was in my own little world. As I walked toward Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (南京路步行街), the energy picked up—street performers strumming guitars, locals sipping bubble tea, and petals fluttering in the breeze 🌷🎶. It’s a magical blend of old and new, where every step feels like an invitation to explore.

When night fell, I couldn’t resist another walk through the city 🌙. The buildings along Nanjing Road looked even more stunning under the neon lights 💡. The mix of historic and modern architecture was so cool—it felt like a whole different world, where the past and present dance together under the Shanghai sky.

After taking it all in, I warmed up with a bowl of Yunnan-style Cross-the-Bridge Rice Noodles 🍜. The rich, comforting broth and tender noodles were the perfect way to end the night—like a little hug from the inside.

Spring in Shanghai isn’t just a season, it’s a feeling. From vibrant city streets to cozy culinary moments, this city has a way of making everything feel like an adventure. It’s the perfect place to slow down, take it all in, and make memories that’ll last 🌸🌆. #springitinerary
