The Batam Arrival Card is the entry declaration that all foreign visitors must complete before passing through immigration when arriving in Batam. Foreign travellers going to Batam need to finish the Electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD) online. It records your personal details, passport information, travel purpose, and accommodation in Indonesia.

Note: For now, the unified “All Indonesia” digital system is being trialled in Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya. It brings immigration, customs, and health details together into a single form. Go to the Indonesian Customs e-CD website (https://ecd.beacukai.go.id) and select “Next” to start. You can switch the language to English if needed.
Enter your full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and gender. Provide travel information, including your flight or ferry details, arrival date, port of entry, and accommodation details in Batam.
Indicate any items you are bringing that are restricted or require declaration.
Review all information carefully and submit. Print or save the confirmation page/QR code. Just present this at immigration and customs on arrival.

Some of Batam’s main ferry terminals are now equipped with automated border control gates (autogates) to speed up immigration for eligible travellers. Singaporean visitors holding e-passports can use these gates to move through immigration quickly, reducing wait times during peak hours.
