Plus, there's a direct shuttle bus to the airport that gets you there in just 1.5 hours. I stayed in the South Wing, and the room was a bit dated, but everything else was fine. There's a Komeda right outside, which is great for a high-value breakfast. On the second floor, there's a Family Mart, so it's super convenient for grabbing anything you need. The service is also very good; they provide complimentary water and buckwheat pillows. I highly recommend this as the top choice for Shinjuku, especially for its unbeatable value for money. Last time, there were Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk to help with check-in, but I didn't see any this time.

This was my third stay, and this hotel truly is a hidden gem among all the hotels in Tokyo. Every morning, I'd wake up and walk to the outer market for breakfast. The hotel service is also excellent. Previously, the bathroom in the same room type was different, so I contacted Trip.com. Trip.com then reached out to the hotel, and a dedicated staff member showed us several room types to understand the situation, and then changed us to a satisfactory room. On each floor, room numbers 20-25 are double rooms. Rooms 20 and 25 have bathrooms like the one shown in picture two, while rooms 21-24 have better bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers. Also, rooms 21-24 have beds that are actually 1.8m, while rooms 20 and 25 have 1.6m beds, even though all are listed as 1.6m – they are actually different! However, room 20 is the furthest from the elevator, so it depends on personal preference. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this price point in Tokyo.

This was my fourth stay here, and I'm consistently impressed! Everything, from check-in to storing my luggage (while I spent three days in Osaka) and then checking back in, was incredibly smooth. I just wish I knew how to become a member because this is the only place I want to stay whenever I'm in Tokyo from now on! The large public bath on the second floor is incredibly relaxing after a long day – I went both in the evenings and mornings, haha! It’s all about comfort! Location-wise, it's perfect! There's a Lawson convenience store right across the street and a 7-Eleven just a short walk to the right, making it super easy to grab drinks and snacks like onigiri and sandwiches. Walk 200 meters to the right and across the street, and you'll hit the Mitsukoshi department store. Keep going, and you'll find Muji and Loft, then even further (near the Narita Airport bus stop) is a huge Sanrio store! So much to explore! Another 500-meter walk to the right will bring you to Tsukiji Tamasushi, which is famous for its delicious and fresh sushi. A bit further, and you're at the Tsukiji Market itself – oh my goodness, just eat your heart out! Montbell is also conveniently close by, perfect for some serious shopping! It’s so much fun! I stayed in a deluxe twin room, which had a tatami-like feel. It was spacious and very comfortable! I'm already planning to book my room for December! To get here from Narita Airport, buy a bus ticket for 1500 JPY per person. Take the bus from platform 6 and get off at Ginza Station. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from there – just head towards the Mitsukoshi building, and you'll find it easily! Super convenient!

The hotel is at great location (right across the road from the Shinagawa train station) but upon check in. They were so disappointing. First I waited in the self check in for 15 mins but were then told i can’t check in for two rooms there. Then I waited 20 mins in the manual check in queue and then all of the sudden. All receptionists left the reception desk. Waited another 15 mins and 2 complains later. The reception ladies came back out. And then there was the breakfast queues. Every morning we had to wait 20 mins to get into breakfast however this was not their fault, there were so many guests and they did try by opening the second floor and directed people to another location. The breakfast options were increditable. The amenities were great but they were all additional costs. The swimming pool was extra £25 per person to use. And when I looked down from my room. It was empty 😅。 The left luggage queue was also another 30 mins. So in total I wasted a day queueing. But the facilities and location was amazing.

Our room was large, spotless, and well-equipped with all the essentials. We also appreciated the lobby refreshments (coffee, tea, and water) while waiting for our airport bus. All the staff are very helpful especially the conceige counter. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Eg Concierge not aware that the jazz club needed to be booked in advance. Not his fault really as he has perhaps never been trained On arrival to the club, we were then literally ushered out to our embarrassment as all other sitting guests observed this as there were three members of staff attempting to use body language as they could not communicate in English nor did they wish to use their phone translate app. Very unlike Japanese people’s calm and kind style. Many areas in cerulean floor requires updating. On reporting the above, we were told that a QR code should have been provided and they forgot.

There is a ventilation feature on the window bay where you can get some fresh air. The bathtub has the bottom massage function which I quite like it. The TV is a bit old and small though. The breakfast we chose is on the top floor where you can enjoy the city view around the hotel. Breakfast options are not too many but definitely enough, the taste is quite good I would say. There are many entertainment options in the hotel, such as public bath and bowling.

The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly. A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

From a housekeeping management perspective, this felt more like a failure in process execution rather than an isolated incident, and it definitely affected my first impression. However, after I raised the issue, the hotel's recovery actions were prompt. In the following days, the room cleaning was significantly more standardized, with noticeable improvements in detail. This indicates that the hotel is capable of good service, but the initial day's execution standards simply weren't met. In contrast, Trip.com's service experience during this incident left a deeper impression. The customer service proactively followed up, communicated efficiently, and handled the situation professionally. They were able to push for problem resolution from a customer experience perspective, demonstrating a mature platform service system. This level of after-sales responsiveness is quite high among current online travel platforms. Overall Rating: The hotel's hardware and positioning are fine, but there's room for improvement in service consistency, especially regarding the first-day delivery standards of housekeeping management. Trip.com's coordination and service performance in this incident, on the other hand, highlighted the professional value of their platform.

The room was very clean and even had a small sofa. There's a supermarket downstairs, though it closes a bit early. A Lawson convenience store is just a five-minute walk away, and the subway station isn't far either, making it very convenient for getting around. The only downside was that the air conditioner was leaking, right at the end of the building. Since there was a language barrier, I just put a plastic bag under it. Overall, it was still very good.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop. The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM. Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Rinkai Line, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, especially to Disney. The room facilities were well-equipped, and the cleanliness was top-notch; there were no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is served on the first floor. We stayed for five nights and went at different times, but on three of those days, we encountered a queue. If you're in a hurry, you might want to factor in some extra time.

Hotel service was impeccable, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, especially loved the toilet and showers which were spacious with good water pressure. There’s also a free lounge that served simple drinks and small snacks which was much appreciated. Location is also great, within walking distance of the both the JR and metro stations. Shimbashi station is well connected to various lines that you’d use to hit the common attractions, also close enough to Ginza. Highly recommended and would definitely return again for my next trip to Tokyo

I arrived at 2:15 PM, before check-in time, and stored my luggage. After a quick stroll around the area, I returned to find my bags already neatly placed in my room. When I needed more water, the front desk delivered it to my room in an instant. The room itself was very quiet and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. For such a central location, the value for money is outstanding. The view from the window is excellent; during the day, the train tracks are busy with trains coming and going, while at night, the city lights are spectacular. I even saw a rainbow on the day I checked in – a lovely start to my stay.

I booked a standard room below the 20th floor and requested a higher floor with a view of the Statue of Liberty. When I checked in, I spoke to the front desk, and they told me that for the price I paid, I'd only get a tiny glimpse of the Statue of Liberty, even on the 18th floor. To get a direct view from a higher floor (20+), I'd have to pay extra. I decided to take a gamble and stick with my original booking, and it turned out great! The money I saved was enough to cover breakfast at the hotel every day, which was a nice bonus. There are three breakfast options: the garden restaurant on the first floor, the café on the second floor, and a sushi set on the 30th floor. The first and second-floor menus are identical, but the first floor is larger. I tried the sushi once on the 30th floor, but it was just okay; the fish slices were quite thin, and I could get better sushi for the same price at other places. There are several shopping malls nearby, all accessible directly from the hotel lobby (on the second floor) via connecting skywalks. You can also directly access the Yurikamome subway line. The terminal station is Shimbashi, which is about a 20-30 minute ride from the hotel. From Shimbashi, it's about a 1km walk to Ginza, or one stop on the Ginza subway line, or a 700 yen taxi ride. The transportation is very convenient. I also participated in a Tokyo Bay cruise afternoon tea activity nearby; it was just a three-stop train ride from the hotel to Hinode Station, and the Symphony cruise ship pier was right outside the station.

If 100 is a perfect score, this hotel has its pros and cons. The convenient location and room size both deserve a 90. The shower water pressure and the service from most of the staff are at least an 80. However, you can clearly hear the subway from the room, and even with the small window handle adjusted up or down, the noise persists. During my two-night stay, one night I couldn't fall asleep until the subway stopped running in the middle of the night. The next morning, I was woken up by the noise around 7 AM. I groggily recorded a video, but my phone's microphone near the bed didn't capture it well. The actual sound is about one to two times louder than what's in the video. The room also didn't provide earplugs, which is quite unbearable – I'm deducting 70 points for this. There were noticeable marks on the room walls and the bathroom floor, so I'm taking off another 50 points. The carpet is old and somewhat damaged, and the room looks dingy. For a room that costs over 1500 per night, this warrants another 60-point deduction. So, this is a hotel with overly distinct pros and cons.

Served on the 4th floor, the breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection. The peaked, herringbone-patterned ceiling, with one side a wooden roof and the other a light-transmitting glass roof equipped with awnings, filled the space with bright, natural light, making for a truly comfortable start to the day.

The room was still spacious, and having two bathrooms was very convenient. The view remained impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did a thorough and clean job. We needed packing tape, and they delivered two large rolls, which was a very thoughtful touch ❤️. The documents we needed printed were also handled very well. We have a small suggestion: could the bathtub be replaced with a deeper model? The current one is too shallow, and taller people can't fully enjoy it.

The hotel room was very clean and a decent size. The windows were amazing – even though there was an elevated highway outside, I couldn't hear any traffic noise, it was really quiet. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the shuttle bus stop for both Haneda and Narita airports. If you head left out of the hotel, there's a great spot on a bridge to photograph the Tokyo Skytree, and to the right, you'll find the famous Ningyo-yaki shop and lots of delicious restaurants. The Suitengu-mae subway station is directly accessible from the hotel's basement (B1), which is incredibly convenient.

It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

Facilities: I'm not sure if the cabinets were renovated, but the edges are incredibly sharp. It really doesn't fit the Japanese emphasis on detail. I actually cut my arm. Ambiance: The lobby is beautiful, and the transportation is very convenient. There are shuttle buses right outside the hotel that go to the city center and the airport. Service: The front desk staff were nice, but when we tried to book a restaurant, they asked a bunch of questions about allergies. Only after all those questions did they call the restaurant, only to tell us there were no tables available. Couldn't they have checked availability first and skipped all the allergy questions? It was a huge waste of time. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the room cleaning wasn't very thorough. Every time we came back, the trash on the floor was still there. In the mornings, they kept ringing the doorbell before we were even awake. The sheets weren't changed when they were dirty, and when a pillow fell on the floor, they just picked it up and put it back on the bed, still covered in dust from the floor. This really doesn't live up to five-star standards.

The facilities are definitely old, but the location is still good. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Japan because I'm used to it, and Roppongi is a pretty nice area to stay in. It's also close to the subway station. However, this time I was very disappointed; the room they gave me smelled terrible. Even after turning on the ventilation and spraying deodorizer, it still stank. The most disgusting part was that the bed sheets were dirty. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't brought disposable sheet covers. I couldn't stand it anymore and asked to change rooms. Their attitude was good, but the hygiene situation is really concerning. I won't be staying here again.

The lower floors are all shopping malls; you can spend a lot of time just wandering around the hotel, from the tower to the main building. It's a great way to pass the time.

Excellent location and perfect sleep quality! After exiting Yaesu Underground Shopping Mall Exit 22, take the first alley, and you'll spot the hotel. The ground floor is where you catch the elevator, and the reception desk for check-in is on the second floor. The second floor also features a public area with complimentary tea and coffee. It's worth noting that both the front desk staff and housekeepers I encountered this time could communicate in Chinese, making their service incredibly friendly and reassuring! Room comfort completely exceeded my expectations! The soundproofing is excellent; I wasn't disturbed by any noise these past few days. The pillow was very supportive and comfortable, and the air conditioning didn't blow directly onto the bed, so I slept wonderfully every night. There are charging ports by the bed, and you can even set your own wake-up call from the phone, which is very convenient. Two bottles of water are replenished daily in the room. The bathroom has excellent water pressure, making showers very pleasant, and the shampoo and shower gel provided by the hotel are also quite good. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my stay and would definitely want to visit again!

Overall, it was excellent, especially the cleanliness, service, and facilities. The only drawback was its distance from both JR (Shinjuku Station) and Tokyo Metro subway stations; for example, it took over 20 minutes to walk to JR Shinjuku Station. However, getting to and from the airport was incredibly convenient, as the shuttle pickup/drop-off point for Shinjuku Washington Hotel was just a 2-minute walk away. The room itself was fantastic, a Family Apartment spanning over 40 square meters, very new, and well-designed with ample space. We could easily set aside our shopping for last-minute packing without cluttering the main living area. The bathroom was well-separated, with a dedicated toilet and shower area. The kitchenette was well-equipped with dishes, bowls, plates, pots, and pans, along with a medium-sized refrigerator and microwave, perfect for cooking our own meals or heating up items from convenience stores. There were coin-operated washing machines on the second floor, though we didn't use them. With two elevators, waiting times were minimal. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, explaining every step during check-in. We were also lucky to get early check-in at 10 AM, which was a huge bonus for anyone arriving in Tokyo early in the morning. If I have the chance to visit Tokyo again, I would definitely stay with Mimaru, perhaps in a different location like Ginza, Ueno, Asakusa, or Ikebukuro.
