I've stayed at the Jianguo Hotel multiple times. Its location near Guangzhou East Railway Station, with access to Metro Lines 1 and 3, gives it a huge advantage in terms of transportation. Although it's an older five-star hotel, they really make an effort to maintain it. The morning tea on the fourth floor is a highlight; it's not pre-made food and always tastes incredibly fresh, which is why I always choose to dine there. The concierge, front desk, and housekeeping staff are all very polite and always eager to help. There's even a small flower shop in the lobby, perfect for picking up a little gift when meeting old friends.

My business trip this time led me to choose the HNA Westin, and it far exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff's warm smiles made me feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a rich selection of both Western and Chinese options; the freshly brewed coffee and noodles were absolutely delicious. The hotel's location is also impeccable. A special thanks for preparing children's amenities and the bedtime milk. Without a doubt, this is one of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in.

Lots of eatery nearby, ranging from hotpot’s to bubble tea, shopping malls and etc. Even late at night at wee hours there are still shops operating and you definitely won’t go hungry. Easy to get around When we were leaving for the airport The concierge was kind enough to arrange transport for us at a reasonable rate even without prior booking, the 2 x 6 seaters cars arrived in 5 minutes. Total 2 of them. Talk about efficiency..

First time staying at Hilton GZ Tianhe & I booked the executive room for ease of check-in & out. We had an amazing time at the hotel, thanks to the great hospitality extended by the hotel staff, with special shout out to Ms 曾好。 She was incredibly friendly and she gave us great suggestions on where to dine in GZ (where locals go to, instead of the usual tourist dining spots). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As it was our silver wedding anniversary, the hotel also provided a nice gesture by getting the room decorated with a small cake upon our check in. Much appreciated. All in all, Hilton GZ Tianhe's top floor executive lounge & ground floor bar was enjoyable, the mattress is of excellent sleep quality, the gym was clean and functional and the breakfast served offered a variety of local and continental spread. No qualms recommending this hotel to others!

This hotel is located in Guangzhou's bustling Tianhe CBD, right next to Tianhe Sports Center, making its location excellent. Compared to luxury hotels like the Four Seasons across from the Canton Tower, it offers incredible value for money. The rooms have a French decor style, and the high ceilings give a great sense of spaciousness. Everything in the room was clean and tidy, but what I remember most fondly is the bedding – it was so comfortable and soft against the skin. Guangzhou has had beautiful sunny weather recently, and waking up this morning to open the curtains and let the warm sunlight flood into the room was incredibly uplifting. After getting ready, I headed to the hotel lobby on the 4th floor for breakfast. The selection was vast, ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted delicious. A special shout-out goes to the incredibly kind and professional front desk staff. Their sweet smiles and professional demeanor left a deep impression on me from check-in to check-out, truly making guests feel at home. I stayed here for two nights this week, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Guangzhou.

The room facilities feel a bit above average for a typical five-star hotel, nothing particularly outstanding, but the service is genuinely excellent. They even provided emotional value. The bathtub is quite spacious, and the night view is also good, offering a partial view of the Canton Tower. Thumbs up! However, it's not a smart toilet, and honestly, people who stay in luxury hotels probably aren't used to flushing toilets manually. I hope they can install smart toilets. To be fair, the emotional value really comes from the night view – being able to see the Canton Tower makes up for everything else. Even though there's some obstruction, the emotional value is still maximized, largely compensating for any shortcomings. The service that really impressed me was from Mia and Tina; I was very satisfied when I went downstairs to extend my stay, and their smiles were very sweet. Recommendation Index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐️, five stars, because there were pleasant surprises amidst the imperfections!

It’s my 2nd time in this hotel. It’s location is superb. Downstairs is ShipaiQiao exit D metro station, walking distance to Grandview Mall, Tianhe Mall, Parc Central. Taikoo Hui is next to it while OneLink plaza is just opposite. A good accommodation especially if you like to shop and explore TianHe malls. We stayed for 2 nights as a family with two young children. The hotel was super convenient because it has a direct access from the lobby to the mall without going outside. The mall has wonderful selections on food and we got to try different food during our stay. We had a great view from the hotel room. Check in was quick. Staff was okay not perfect, I am sure they can do better. Check-in at the hotel was quite slow; I'm not sure why the room wasn't ready. We dropped off our luggage and went out for the afternoon, and still had a bit of a wait when we returned. I want to give a special shout-out to Shanshan from the lobby. On the day we checked in, there was a massive downpour, and all the umbrellas were already borrowed. Shanshan quickly noticed that some guests checking out had four umbrellas, and she went upstairs to retrieve them for us. The cocktails at Stiehler Bar on the second floor are great, especially their collaborative menu with Hope & Sesame. However, the special menu is limited, so I recommend coming early if you want to try it. Bar seats need to be reserved in advance, but other tables are first-come, first-served. The revolving restaurant on the 30th floor was just okay – good for the rotating ambiance, though. For breakfast, I originally planned to go to the first-floor restaurant, but the long queue quickly made me change my mind. So we went to Taoyuan on the third floor instead. Taoyuan offers a set menu service, it's quiet, and the window views are lovely.

Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel has always been my top choice for accommodation, consistently leaving a good impression in all aspects. However, I have to air some grievances this time. Firstly, the hotel is replacing its elevators. Previously, there were three elevators serving the 25th floor where I stayed, but now there's only one, which is extremely inconvenient. The front desk staff mentioned that elevator #9 also goes to the 25th floor, but it's not a guest elevator and is very slow. Secondly, the in-room facilities are quite old and seem to have been poorly maintained. The electric kettle lid doesn't seal properly, leaving a gap. In the bathroom, it's very difficult to switch between the overhead shower and the lower faucet. Once I finally got the overhead shower to work, there was no hot water, so I ended up having to wash up in the sink. All these issues were frustrating and helpless.

My stay at the China Hotel, Guangzhou this time was absolutely delightful! The king-size room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities that were well-maintained, providing a perfect resting space after a tiring journey. The included double breakfast offered a rich variety and high quality, making for a great start to the day at the Cafe Restaurant. I especially want to commend Kaylee at the front desk! Her service was exemplary. From check-in, she was incredibly efficient, professional, and full of enthusiasm. She patiently answered all my questions about the hotel facilities and surrounding area, maintaining a consistently kind and friendly demeanor. She made me feel instantly at home upon my arrival. The room was spacious and bright, with a good separation of wet and dry areas, and very clean. There's a restaurant, which was really convenient since I arrived at night and could just eat there. The late-night supper was excellent too – the fried rice noodles were delicious, not too salty or greasy, and the accompanying chicken soup was also great. I'll definitely stay here again for my next layover. The airport shuttle was super convenient, and the driver even helped with my luggage.

The lobby and physical rooms are notably much older than what the photos suggest, creating a significant gap between expectation and reality. The hotel features different wings, ranging from new to quite old, and during my conversations, I noticed that this concern wasn't adequately addressed by the front desk staff. If you're seeking a more modern interior, I highly recommend requesting a room in the new wing to ensure a more pleasant stay. However, what truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the manager, Leon. His attentiveness and dedication to addressing our concerns transformed our experience, turning an initial disappointment into a truly positive one. Leon's genuine commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable and makes a remarkable difference in the overall impression of this hotel. His outstanding hospitality not only resolved our issues but also left us with fond memories of our stay, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Choosing Muliangzhuang Hotel in Huadu for this vacation was absolutely the right decision – it definitely deserves five stars! The moment I stepped into the hotel, the strong Southeast Asian vibe instantly caught my eye. The lobby was surrounded by lush greenery, with stone paths underfoot and bamboo woven lamps overhead. It felt just like being on an overseas holiday, instantly putting me at ease. During check-in, the staff were warm and professional. They quickly got everything sorted for me and thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and activities. My appreciation for the hotel instantly shot up. My lake view room was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the picturesque lake and mountains outside, like a natural painting. The huge, soft bed ensured I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom design was also very thoughtful, with a separate wet and dry area, and an extra-large bathtub. After a tiring day, a soak in the tub melted all my fatigue away. The hotel's amenities were also very extensive. The outdoor pool was crystal clear and beautifully designed, with sun loungers and parasols nearby. It was incredibly relaxing to sunbathe and swim there. The Muliang Qingquan Hot Spring is also a must-visit, offering several unique hot spring pools. After a soak, my skin felt noticeably better. For families with children, the outdoor kids' play area and indoor kids' club are a paradise. With a wide variety of play facilities, children can have endless fun. The dining experience was also excellent. The buffet breakfast at Sui Shi Fang Western Restaurant offered a rich variety of options, including Chinese hot congee and steamed buns, as well as Western bread and bacon. Everything tasted great, setting me up for an energetic day. The Cantonese cuisine at Yang Chinese Restaurant was truly exceptional. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking brought out wonderful flavors, making every dish unforgettable. There are also many interesting places to visit around the hotel. European Town and Jiulong Lake Scenic Area are just a few minutes' drive away, perfect for sightseeing and photo opportunities. This stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next vacation!

My therapeutic trip to Bishuiwan completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel is nestled in a tranquil valley in Conghua, surrounded by lush greenery, and the fresh air instantly washes away the fatigue of city life. The hot spring area is the biggest highlight, with dozens of different themed pools hidden within the gardens – red wine pools, traditional Chinese medicine pools, floral fragrant pools… I tried them all. Watching the starry sky while soaking in the steamy water, I felt my mind and body gently soothed. The Quan Yue room I stayed in was spacious, bright, and clean, with a private hot tub in the courtyard. The bathroom fixtures were also very refined. What deserves the most praise is the service-mindedness of all the staff. From the front desk to the hot spring area and the restaurant, every employee had a genuine smile and actively offered help, making me feel warmly at home. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, not only featuring exquisite Cantonese dim sum but also freshly prepared local wonton noodles, which tasted very authentic. Overall, this place perfectly blends natural tranquility with personalized service, making it a perfectly worthwhile holiday. I've already planned my next visit and sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

River view rooms are only available with king beds; there are no twin-bed options for river views. Twin rooms, unfortunately, only offer views of the village rooftops. The surroundings were decent, and the water quality seemed clean enough. The kids had a great time. However, room cleanliness was only average. The small rug was visibly grubby; I didn't dare let my child walk on it barefoot. The bath towels were very old and even had holes. While they appeared clean, the holes clearly indicated they'd been in use for a very long time.

The Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou offers a truly unique experience, one I've never encountered at any other hotel – the experience of being treated like a thief! Around 2:30 PM on December 5th, I arrived at the hotel lobby. The front desk staff told me my room wasn't ready and asked me to wait. I mentioned my phone was out of battery and I was about to go out with friends. So, front desk staff A offered to charge my phone at the front desk. I left my phone there and went to the restroom. When I returned, my phone was plugged in, and I had to stand in the position shown in picture 1. Fearing I might bother other guests, I only stood there for a short while before moving away to wander around the lobby. When it was time for me to leave, I returned to the front desk. At this point, another guest was standing directly in front of the desk, so I had to stand to the side to call a taxi on my phone (position in picture 2). That's when employee B, who was standing in the lobby, came over and asked if I needed help. Before I could even answer, he accused me of standing there to peek at other guests' privacy. Wow, wow, even if I tried to pick a fight, I couldn't come up with such an insulting method! It was truly novel, and I, the blogger, was momentarily speechless. All I could say was that I didn't want to stand there either; if my room were ready, I wouldn't need to stand there charging my phone. The employee then retreated without a word, no apology, not even a simple ”okay.” I had to ask other staff what position they had assigned this person to. I don't recall any hotel having a position dedicated to supervising guests to see if they're peeking at computers. Even if I weren't a hotel guest, just standing there to use a power strip, is such behavior serious enough to warrant an accusation of peeking at others' privacy? Do I need to explain again that from my angle, I couldn't even see the computer screen? And going back to the beginning, it wasn't my idea to plug my phone in at the front desk, was it? I've already written their excuses for them here: ”It was busy that day, the room wasn't ready, the employee was just doing their job, we apologize for the bad experience~” I only have one question: which of these reasons leads to accusing a guest of peeking at customer privacy on a work computer?? Under normal circumstances, a guest really shouldn't stand in that spot, but first and foremost, the hotel employee told me to charge my phone there, which is why I was standing there. Secondly, if that person had just come over and said I was blocking the way, I wouldn't have been so angry. Why jump straight to such a bizarre accusation? Forget about respecting hotel guests, did they even show me the respect a normal citizen deserves? All I can say is run! With this money, where else wouldn't be better? At this price point, are there really any hotels with significantly worse facilities? I didn't feel a shred of welcome; I only felt like my booking displeased them, infringing on other guests' privacy or adding to their burden. For those who enjoy causing themselves trouble, I highly recommend this hotel! 👍🏻

Our comfortable stay at Shangri-La began with a smooth check-in handled by Ms. Joice Yang. As it was the Mid-Autumn Festival, we received mooncakes upon arrival. Our river-view room offered a stunning vista, and we even caught a glimpse of fireworks over the Hong Kong-Macau border from our window at night. The changing rooms were spotless, and I loved the swimwear dryer, which made drying my swimsuit super quick. They also had a sauna (dry and wet), a warm-water jacuzzi, and provided rubber slippers, towels, bathrobes, hairdryers, combs, and cotton swabs. There's an indoor pool on the 4th floor and an outdoor pool on the 1st floor. The outdoor pool is divided into several sections with different depths, and you can move between them without getting out of the water. The shallow end even has an inflatable slide and occasional bubbles, which the kids absolutely loved. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back!!!

They usually wait a few extra minutes until around 10 AM before clearing the breakfast, so even if you eat slowly, you won't feel rushed. They're always ready to clear empty plates, truly top-notch service. The quality of both breakfast and dinner is extensive, and the oysters deserve a special shout-out! The New Zealand oysters are super fresh, just like what I had when I was actually in New Zealand. The only minor issue with the hotel was that the air conditioning wasn't particularly powerful; otherwise, everything else was perfect!

This was my first time in Guangzhou and my third Ritz-Carlton experience. Compared to the aging Portman Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai and the East-meets-West style of the Sanya Ritz, the Guangzhou Ritz offers a understated yet refined luxury. From the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance from the airport until checking in at the club lounge, we experienced professional and perfectly balanced service. Every staff member we encountered had a warm and friendly smile on their face. This trip to Guangzhou was primarily a vacation with my fiancée, and I planned a proposal, which was a complete success. Of course, the proposal's success was largely due to the support and assistance from General Manager Louis Fang. I also want to thank Manager Zhang from the club for helping me with some minor issues, as well as the perfect night view outside our window and the meticulous and professional service from all the club staff. Coming to Guangzhou with my bestie to explore the food and sights, staying at the President Hotel Taikoo Hui branch just doubled our fun! It's super convenient for shopping, hitting up trendy spots, and you can easily drop off your bags back at the hotel, no matter how much you buy. The room was spacious and well-laid out; it didn't feel cramped at all for two people. The mirror was huge and even had a ring light, perfect for taking great photos. The bedding was soft and comfy, and we had a blast chatting and binge-watching shows in bed at night. On the day we checked into the W Hotel, it was the day before the National Games started, so Guangzhou was packed, and the W was fully booked. At 3 PM, some rooms weren't even ready! Since I booked an executive room, I still had to wait, but the front desk was incredibly helpful! A big shoutout to Eleven, Duke, and Rebecca! They let us leave our luggage at the front desk and go relax on the executive floor. The last three photos show the view from the 26th-floor executive lounge! We had some drinks, chatted, and our room was ready half an hour later! Our luggage was delivered right to our room! We had a wonderful stay in Guangzhou! The cocktails at the W Hotel are beautiful! This hotel is an excellent choice for a red-eye flight. It's conveniently located right at the subway exit for Terminal 1, making the subway the most straightforward way to get here. Every time I've stayed, I've booked a single room. While it's not large, it's perfectly adequate, featuring a single bed and a narrow desk. After checking in, you can just freshen up and go to sleep, getting a good night's rest for the next day's journey. The soundproofing seems to be decent, or perhaps it's because all the neighboring rooms are singles, so there's less chatter and noise. The staff's attitude was also good.
