The room felt a little old and run down, and the television had a grainy screen with the sound for each channel varying greatly. We didnt ask reception to fix it as it was late and we intended to watch only for a while before going to bed. The bed and pillows were fantastic though. Breakfast spread was limited but there were 3 to 4 live cooking stations which made things interesting allowing guests to try their local stuff. Their guest service were responsive to emails and friendly. Lots of small eateries nearby though so an excellent location especially if you enjoy late night snacks.. about 6 mins walk to the metro, which is direct from the airport which is a huge plus. Staff service generally impeccable and lobby staff were quick to ask guest if they required help. Apart from the rather run down room and the grainy tv everything else was good.

Easy to get around When we were leaving for the airport The concierge was kind enough to arrange transport for us at a reasonable rate even without prior booking, the 2 x 6 seaters cars arrived in 5 minutes. Haven't even checked in yet and a butler has already reached out via WeChat to ask about our preferences and needs, which is a great touch. The room is clean and tidy, the mattress is soft and very comfortable, and the bedding feels really nice. The breakfast offers a wide variety and is delicious. I especially want to mention the concierge service. When we took a taxi back to the hotel at night, the doorman helped us check if we'd left anything in the car. He even found a phone that the previous guests had left behind! That's incredibly thoughtful, highly recommend!

For the past few years, whenever I'm in Guangzhou for business, I always stay at this Mercure. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with voice control and smart robots that deliver food and packages. The elevators are quite efficient, so you barely have to wait. There's a 24-hour self-service laundry room. The front desk staff are very friendly and do their best to arrange early check-ins and late check-outs. The breakfast is excellent; this time they even had fresh honeycomb honey, which was a delightful and novel touch. The combination of Chinese and Western dishes is very well done.

A Luxurious Retreat with Standout Amenities My stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was excellent. The hotel truly excels in two key areas: first-class amenities and exceptional service. The pool and spa area is a genuine oasis—beautifully designed and perfectly equipped for relaxation. Equally impressive was the staff, who were consistently helpful, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. For complete transparency, my experience had two minor drawbacks. My room, while comfortable and well-appointed, showed slight signs of wear and would benefit from some maintenance updates. The dining experience was also inconsistent; some dishes were memorable, while others were merely average. That said, these points did little to diminish an otherwise wonderful stay. The overall comfort, serene ambiance, and superb service make the Sofitel Sunrich a hotel I would happily return to and recommend without hesitation.

The room was spacious and clean, and the service was excellent. I requested additional bottled water, and it was delivered within minutes. What impressed me was that the bottles were thoughtfully placed in a Sheraton paper bag and handed to me properly. Such a small yet thoughtful touch left a strong impression on me. The only minor shortcomings were the absence of bidet in the bathroom and breakfast selection that could be improved in terms of taste. Aside from these, everything else was very good, and the overall stay was enjoyable.

I'd heard about the Garden Hotel Guangzhou for a long time; it's supposed to be a very historic hotel. I chose to stay here this time because I wanted to experience the charm of an old-brand hotel in Guangzhou, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel lobby is huge, and the giant Christmas tree was a big photo magnet. There were a lot of people, especially many foreigners, which is characteristic of Guangzhou. The staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests – truly living up to its reputation as a veteran five-star hotel. The revolving restaurant on the 30th floor was also fantastic; you can see the Canton Tower directly from there, and both the view and the food were excellent. The hotel also has a huge backyard garden, perfect for an evening stroll, with beautiful scenery at every turn. The only minor drawback I found was that the facilities are a bit old, the room was relatively small, and the toiletries didn't quite match a five-star standard. I hope they can improve this in the future!

Choosing Muliangzhuang Hotel in Huadu for this vacation was absolutely the right decision – it definitely deserves five stars! The moment I stepped into the hotel, the strong Southeast Asian vibe instantly caught my eye. The lobby was surrounded by lush greenery, with stone paths underfoot and bamboo woven lamps overhead. It felt just like being on an overseas holiday, instantly putting me at ease. During check-in, the staff were warm and professional. They quickly got everything sorted for me and thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and activities. My appreciation for the hotel instantly shot up. My lake view room was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the picturesque lake and mountains outside, like a natural painting. The huge, soft bed ensured I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom design was also very thoughtful, with a separate wet and dry area, and an extra-large bathtub. After a tiring day, a soak in the tub melted all my fatigue away. The hotel's amenities were also very extensive. The outdoor pool was crystal clear and beautifully designed, with sun loungers and parasols nearby. It was incredibly relaxing to sunbathe and swim there. The Muliang Qingquan Hot Spring is also a must-visit, offering several unique hot spring pools. After a soak, my skin felt noticeably better. For families with children, the outdoor kids' play area and indoor kids' club are a paradise. With a wide variety of play facilities, children can have endless fun. The dining experience was also excellent. The buffet breakfast at Sui Shi Fang Western Restaurant offered a rich variety of options, including Chinese hot congee and steamed buns, as well as Western bread and bacon. Everything tasted great, setting me up for an energetic day. The Cantonese cuisine at Yang Chinese Restaurant was truly exceptional. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking brought out wonderful flavors, making every dish unforgettable. There are also many interesting places to visit around the hotel. European Town and Jiulong Lake Scenic Area are just a few minutes' drive away, perfect for sightseeing and photo opportunities. This stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next vacation!

The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities. There are many types of hot spring pools, and also a children's swimming pool, making it very suitable for families with kids. The hot spring area offers snacks and fruits, so you can refuel if you get hungry while soaking. The hot spring area is located by the Liuxi River, surrounded by mountains and water, offering a beautiful environment. After a relaxing soak, you can even go fishing by the river. Kids can also use fishing nets to catch fish, which they find very fun. During the New Year's Day holiday, there were fireworks and many activities suitable for children. The room staff provided excellent service, proactively bringing fruit and cleaning cloths for glasses. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip.

My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

The environment is very good, and it feels quiet in the bustling city. It rained in the afternoon when I went there. Looking at the koi pond is really healing. I am very satisfied with the bathtub. I took a bath three times in two days.

River view rooms are only available with king beds; there are no twin-bed options for river views. Twin rooms, unfortunately, only offer views of the village rooftops. The surroundings were decent, and the water quality seemed clean enough. The kids had a great time. However, room cleanliness was only average. The small rug was visibly grubby; I didn't dare let my child walk on it barefoot. The bath towels were very old and even had holes. While they appeared clean, the holes clearly indicated they'd been in use for a very long time.

The hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Its location is super convenient, just a three-minute walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spotless, the bedding was incredibly soft, and I slept like a dream. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and friendly; she even proactively recommended some wonderful hidden gems nearby. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the taste was deliciously home-style. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. The value for money is absolutely unbeatable!

My stay at the Sino Hotel's Dafo Temple Park Station branch truly showed me that ”quality is in the details.” This hotel's exceptional performance across four key dimensions – facilities, hygiene, service, and environment – completely surpassed my expectations for a hotel in its price range. **Comprehensive and Thoughtful Facilities** The hotel's facilities are both complete and considerate. The smart control system in the room allowed me to easily adjust lighting, air conditioning, and curtains. The ergonomic desk meant I could work for extended periods without fatigue, and the high-speed Wi-Fi covered every corner, ensuring seamless video calls. What surprised me most was the bathroom, equipped with a smart toilet and a wet/dry separation design, with excellent, stable shower water pressure. The hotel also features a self-service laundry room and a gym, which are extremely convenient for business travelers on longer stays. These facilities are not just comprehensive; they also demonstrate the designer's deep understanding of modern travel needs. **Exceptional and Impeccable Hygiene** Hygiene standards are a crucial measure of hotel quality, and the Sino Hotel is a model in this regard. Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the fresh, odor-free air, indicating a well-maintained ventilation system. The bedding was pristine white, and I could feel the crispness of freshly laundered sheets. The bathroom tiles were completely free of mold, the mirror sparkled, and even the air conditioning vents were spotless. Hygiene in the public areas was equally strict; the lobby floor was shining, and notices about regular disinfection of elevator buttons provided peace of mind. This extreme dedication to cleanliness reflects the hotel's professional management. **Attentive and Heartwarming Service** From check-in to check-out, the service team's professionalism and warmth were consistent. The front desk staff not only efficiently handled check-in but also proactively introduced the hotel's features and local information. The housekeeping staff noticed the placement of my books during cleaning and returned them to their original position after tidying. When I inquired about the opening hours of Dafo Temple, the concierge not only provided the information but also thoughtfully printed out a sightseeing route map. Even more impressively, the hotel staff consistently remembered guests' names and preferences, turning a simple stay into a warm and personalized experience. **Excellent Environment, Perfect Blend of Lively and Tranquil** The hotel's location is a perfect combination – just a 3-minute walk to the subway station, offering convenient transportation. It's also adjacent to the serene and solemn Dafo Temple, allowing guests to hear morning bells and enjoy the sunset views of the ancient temple. The hotel features soundproofing, ensuring quiet even in rooms facing the main road. The interior design blends modern simplicity with Zen elements, from the water feature in the lobby to the landscape paintings in the guest rooms, creating a tranquil and elegant atmosphere that allows guests to find peace amidst the urban bustle. The Sino Hotel's Dafo Temple branch proves with its tangible quality that an excellent hotel doesn't need to be extravagant or ostentatious; it excels by perfecting every detail. It has become my top choice for business trips to Guangzhou and is highly recommended to all travelers who value quality accommodation.

This was my first stay at a Four Seasons hotel, and I was impressed from the moment I arrived. We got there quite early, and the front desk associate checking us in noticed we had a child and thoughtfully asked if a king-sized bed would be sufficient. She then kindly arranged for all the children's amenities. Later, when we went downstairs to explore, a staff member on the ground floor warmly reminded us not to catch a cold and to wear an extra layer. They also gave us detailed directions to Huacheng Square and Canton Tower. The next morning, due to the Guangzhou Marathon, the coffee shop we'd planned to visit at Huacheng Square was completely packed, with a queue of over 50 orders. It was already nearly 11 AM, close to check-out time, so we headed back to the hotel. On the 70th floor, we met Meggie, a front desk associate, and asked if room service was still available for breakfast. With her quick and friendly smile, Meggie perfectly resolved our problem. Our family of three happily enjoyed breakfast in our room, and the food was excellent! We had a pleasant check-out, and coincidentally, we met Meggie again. We told her how much we loved it here! It truly felt like a home away from home! (We've already rebooked a room for next Saturday and will be staying here again next week! 💕)

We chose a Shangri-La river view room for New Year's Eve. The night view of the river was absolutely stunning and captivating. The hotel's environment exuded elegance and tranquility everywhere, completely shielding us from the outside world's hustle and bustle, making us feel incredibly comfortable the moment we stepped in. The breakfast spread was lavish, with an impressive array of both Chinese and Western options, and everything was delicious. Enjoying a delightful breakfast with the river view outside the window made the first day of the new year exceptionally pleasant and fulfilling.

Hotel is definitely nice, beautiful view, amazing staff (requested over 8 pillows for my family still provided them. However it’s important for them to also have improvements especially when the upgrade isn’t expensive. For example their hair dryers are really old school and slow to dry hair (also heavy to hold), changing it won’t cost much. Then also definitely add in a toilet bidet. Location wise is amazing if you are doing business and require going to the canton convention centre other then that don’t book the hotel, when there’s jam u gonna require about 1 hour to reach every tourist areas

I stayed at this hotel for a marathon. This time, I arrived a day early and booked hotels near both the pickup point and the starting line. I really love the decor style here; it's a perfect blend of modern and classic. The bathroom has a three-part separation, and the toilet is smart. Located in a bustling and lively area, the room quality for this price is truly excellent value for money! On the 19th, I stayed at a certain *Stin hotel near the Canton Fair, and it felt like it was all show and no substance – the exterior was fine, but the interior was underwhelming! There's no harm without comparison. The service attitude at the President Hotel is top-notch. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk gave me a souvenir. Later, I left something behind at the hotel, and the front desk staff communicated with me immediately, and I quickly received a shipping notification for the item. I'm very grateful! The staff member was very sweet, and the room was very comfortable. All the drinks in the mini-fridge were free, unlike at that *Stin hotel!!!

We drove from Beijing to Hainan and stayed at the W Hotel Xi'an when passing through. Our mood went through a rollercoaster of emotions. Upon check-in, the hotel's 'nightclub' vibe immediately dampened our spirits. However, once we entered our room, the expansive lake view and excellent scenery instantly lifted our mood. All in all, it left a deep impression. Coincidentally, I got a spot in the Guangzhou Marathon, and with so many good hotels in Guangzhou, I specifically booked the W Hotel Guangzhou to check it out. And it certainly didn't disappoint! First, the location is excellent, close to cultural landmarks like the Guangdong Provincial Museum, Guangzhou Library, and Huacheng Square. It's also quite close to both the start/finish line and the bib collection point for the marathon. Secondly, the hotel's design is full of futuristic technology and visual impact. Of course, the lobby still has that 'nightclub' atmosphere, with lighting, music, and decor creating a vibrant, youthful ambiance. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities, and the bedding is luxurious. Furthermore, the dining was also exceptional. We had the buffet dinner on the night we checked in, and the variety was extensive, and the quality was superb. Finally, the service was impeccable. Clinton at the front desk had a smiling demeanor, was highly efficient, and made the check-in process quick. He also helped us with a room upgrade, packed breakfast for us to take to the marathon, and even extended our check-out time because we were late returning from the race. He was truly a thoughtful and heartwarming staff member. In summary, this stay was perfect, leaving us with a unique and unforgettable experience. We will definitely stay again. Thanks again to Clinton at the front desk, you worked hard!

Stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton Guangzhou and had a great experience. The view from the 41st floor was incredible, especially at night when the city lights up. Service was consistently fast and attentive which made check in and any requests smooth and easy. The rooms were large, clean, and well laid out. Plenty of space to relax after exploring Guangzhou and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options which made it easy to find something enjoyable each morning. This hotel is an excellent choice for a red-eye flight. It's conveniently located right at the subway exit for Terminal 1, making the subway the most straightforward way to get here. Every time I've stayed, I've booked a single room. While it's not large, it's perfectly adequate, featuring a single bed and a narrow desk. After checking in, you can just freshen up and go to sleep, getting a good night's rest for the next day's journey. The soundproofing seems to be decent, or perhaps it's because all the neighboring rooms are singles, so there's less chatter and noise. The staff's attitude was also good. Even late at night when I was heading out for my flight, they were still very helpful.

The room was spotless; I even wiped the floor with a tissue and barely picked up any dust. The shower had an overhead rainfall nozzle, so no worries about cleanliness. They provided two pairs of disposable slippers. There's a 24-hour airport shuttle, making it super convenient to get to and from the subway station. Both the driver and the front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone!
