We stayed in Superior Room (2 Beds) (Room 1222), 3-4 May 2025 as I and my friend attended the phase 3 of Canton Fair. The check-in was efficient, front desk speaks good English. I was impressed by the efficiency of the check-in process, the warm welcome from the front desk staff. The lobby was clean. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable. They have provided bottled water, tea and coffee. The toilet is clean, toiletries were provided. The towels and bathrobes were clean. They have free shuttle bus to/from Canton Fair. During our stay, they provided a cocktail event for all the Canton Fair guests, with raffle prizes. The hotel's location was also ideal for my needs, just next to Guangzhou East Railway Station. Will check-in in this hotel again.

Initially stayed 1 night added extra night, very centrally located lots of restaurants near by. It shares a communal lift with another hotel, down stairs coffee station and drinks. Rooms are well kept and layout vary, liked the first room, laundry area was in the bath room to save space but worked well. Communal self service laundry facilities. Located in the office blocks, lots of taxi waiting outside, independent coffee kiosk at the ground floor entrance. Restaurant across the street open to 2 am serving chaosan cuisine, Dim sum places around the corner. Staff are nice, all foreigners will need their passports scanned or have a photo taken by their phones, apparently it will be loaded to the local police app. I was concerned why my personal details were stored on their phones as they didn’t immediately scan on the app just took a photo.

Our weekend stay truly exceeded expectations, I have to give Sofitel a perfect score! The hotel boasts a French-inspired New Chinese style throughout, and the lobby's design is exceptional. There's a comfortable sofa area for relaxation and a lobby bar on the first floor where you can grab coffee. From the moment you walk in, you feel at ease. The front desk service was warm and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Manager MIA at the front desk even took the initiative to recommend nearby attractions and restaurants, which was incredibly thoughtful. Zhengjia Plaza is also very popular lately and conveniently located very close to Sofitel, so we took the kids there to play. All the staff members were very friendly, and their attention to detail made us feel right at home.

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. The subway station exit is right outside, and TeeMall and Parc Central are next door. Regarding the room assigned by the front desk – for me, it was a corner room. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk I didn't want a corner room, and they insisted it wasn't. Later, I discovered it was indeed a corner room. My main dissatisfaction is with the room's cleanliness. Upon entering, I found false eyelashes on the desk and the glass mirror. This is completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, which should ensure everything is spotless, not even a speck of dust. I also noticed the white sheer curtain had some minor stains. Basic amenities like razors and mouthwash shouldn't require guests to actively ask housekeeping for them. The cleaning lady even told me, 'We only provide them if a guest requests them.' Seriously? This is a 5-star hotel. Regardless of whether a guest needs them or not, these daily essentials should be readily available in the bathroom. The air conditioning in the room was also quite cold. **The hotel also provides local phone numbers for international guests to place orders conveniently.** My only minor complaint is having to go downstairs to pick up food. The hotel should really consider using robots to deliver food directly to guests' rooms.

I was extremely satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

The standalone villa was absolutely therapeutic! It was quiet and comfortable all night, completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast buffet was abundant and fresh, and I ate to my heart's content. Soaking in the hot springs completely relaxed me; the environment was serene, and the service was attentive. There's a shuttle bus to pick you up and drop you off at your room. I just didn't want to leave once I was there. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely come back next time!

We were forced to leave the hotel across the street late at night because our room couldn't keep out swarms of flying ants. Around 10 PM, we quickly rebooked at Bishuiwan and were still impressed after checking in. We could park our car right in front of our room. The hotel front desk noticed we were in a bad mood and that it was late, so they proactively asked if we'd like breakfast delivered to our room on the second and third days. They also immediately arranged for the in-room hot spring tub to be filled. By the time we settled into our room, it was almost 11 PM. After speaking with the front desk, they quickly sent up pre-boiled mugwort satchels for our bath. After soaking, we enjoyed a drink. The hotel not only provided an ice bucket and glasses but also thoughtfully prepared two pitchers of fragrant lemon water to help us sober up. All the staff showed a strong service ethic, proactively anticipating our needs and enhancing our stay. The public areas are lovely. You can step directly from the villa area into various hot spring pools, and it takes about an hour to enjoy them all. When we were tired, we could order room service from the hotel. After eating, we could continue soaking or relaxing with drinks in the room, or go to the main building for some karaoke. It's a great choice for a weekend getaway. Most importantly, the villa was spotless. The hotel promptly enhanced its pest control services, so there were no flying ants, mosquitoes, weeds, or fallen leaves in the room. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

Our stay in the triple room at the Guangzhou Biquan Air Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! 👍 The room was spacious and bright, with elegant and cozy decor. The three beds were soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The room was also equipped with complete and practical facilities, all spotlessly clean. The hotel's hot spring was definitely a highlight, offering a rich variety of pools with perfect water temperatures. Soaking in the hot springs felt like all my fatigue just melted away. The surrounding scenery was beautiful too; it was incredibly relaxing to enjoy the views while soaking. The hotel's service also deserves high praise. The staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was checking in or resolving other issues, they were very efficient. I will definitely choose this place again next time!

I happened to visit during International Women's Day. On March 7th, I even received a carnation from the hotel staff for Girls' Day. However, there didn't seem to be any activities on Women's Day itself, which was a bit disappointing. We usually prefer to book rooms in the main building here because it's been renovated and the room facilities are newer. This time, when we went to the pet feeding area, it felt like they weren't ready for guests; maybe the timing was off. There were no staff members, and we didn't know what to feed the animals with. We could only look and then leave, which diminished the fun. However, the customer service here is still good. Although sometimes the response time was quite slow, there was always a follow-up.

The room was spacious, bright, and clean. We are an elderly couple traveling. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access. There's a great little shop just a two or three-minute walk from the hotel where you can enjoy delicious Cantonese Cheung fun. We chose a room without breakfast this time because we wanted to try different local snacks. It was a very pleasant stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended — will definitely be back! Loved staying here! The location is amazing — right along a lively food street and super close to major attractions like Dafo Temple, making sightseeing and eating so convenient. The staff were absolutely wonderful: super friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful — they even went out of their way to assist me with an issue regarding my online purchase! ❤️ The hotel feels cozy and charming — small like a lovely boutique hotel, but so well-equipped. Our room even had a smart “Xiaoyi” voice assistant which was really fun and convenient! Bonus perks: free supper provided daily plus self-service laundry facilities — such practical touches that made the stay so comfortable. Everything about this stay was great. We will definitely come again — highly recommend to everyone!

The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door.

This was an absolutely unforgettable and flawless stay! Every single staff member demonstrated top-tier hospitality and incredible warmth, making me feel completely at home from the very beginning. A massive thank you to Icy and Sherry at the Front Desk. They attentively listened to my preferences and swiftly arranged a seamless room change. The upgraded room was not only wonderfully spacious but also featured absolutely breathtaking panoramic views. Staying there was a pure delight! The wellness experience was definitely another major highlight of the trip. I am so grateful to Hannah at the Spa; her genuine and engaging introduction is exactly what convinced me to treat myself to a spa session. I also want to thank Karina for her incredibly detailed walkthrough of the fully equipped gym and steam room, which made me feel completely comfortable enjoying the facilities. Furthermore, my therapist, Abby, was exceptionally professional—her expert techniques provided deep healing and total relaxation during the treatment. The evening at the Bar was equally impeccable! A special shout-out to Lawrence, who went out of his way to secure a fantastic seat and handle my booking perfectly. He paid close attention to my needs and was a brilliant conversationalist, which allowed me to thoroughly enjoy a deeply relaxing and delightful time at the bar. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. It is a rare, ultra-attentive, and truly immersive luxury experience. I will undoubtedly be returning on my next visit to Guangzhou!

Shangri-La is a well-established hotel, and we've made it a tradition to stay here once a year. For the past three years, Beryl has consistently hosted us at the Shangri-La. Even with the high volume of people from the convention, the hotel's service quality remains consistently excellent. Staff members like Beryl, Lucy, and Mia provide fantastic service – they are warm, hospitable, and truly make you feel at home. Overall, my stay at Shangri-La during this Guangzhou trip was very enjoyable. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard next year!

I booked this hotel for 2 reasons, close to my football game, and its cyberpunk feel. However, none of those impressed me more than how they just got things ”right” - the friendliest, most helpful (and good-looking) staff I've seen in a hotel for years, the ambience (especially the small), and the food - Ming Court isn't overated at all: the food is top-notch (on the pricer side, of course) with their prime selection of teas, and even their complimentary Chinese pastry is like some of the best on the market (I munched down all 4 in minutes). Better yet, it's quiet but convenient, as it's like 5 minutes walk away from a shopping center with loads of choices of food that fits every budget. Now, of course there are a few things that could've been better, for example the elevators line up too far from one another, so be ready to sprint (or walk very fast) to the doors a few steps too far while worrying about them closing on you. Then there's the small bathtub - if you're over 6 feet then it's not gonna be too comfortable. Bottom line: a smaller yet more thoughtful hotel that will make you smile.

I frequently stay at hotels around Zhujiang New Town, but this was my first time at this particular hotel. I mainly chose it for the 'five meals a day' offering. Since it was my first stay, when I checked in at the front desk on the first floor, a female manager, Ms. Zhang (I don't remember if her full name was Zhang Xingxing), heard about it and helped us upgrade our room type. We had a view of the Canton Tower and the Opera House. She also has an excellent memory for faces, always greeting us proactively when we returned from going out. Overall, my experience was as follows: 1. Contrary to some online reviews, the doormen and staff were not inactive or unenthusiastic; they proactively opened car doors, helped with luggage, and provided directions. 2. The front desk helped us arrange birthday decorations in the room, which my child loved. 3. The meals were indeed a highlight. The five meals a day offered a rotating menu with almost no repeats. The freshly cooked items at lunch and dinner on the first day were different from those on the second day. 4. Room service was also prompt, contrary to some online comments about it being slow; they always provided what we needed in a timely manner. 5. The Food restaurant on the first floor, perhaps due to the number of guests, didn't provide the best service. Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and we arrived at 10:05 AM, but almost all the food we liked was already packed up. In contrast, the Executive Lounge did a much better job; even when guests arrived right as they were closing, they proactively offered meals. 6. Regarding room hardware, due to its age, the room layout did feel a bit cramped, and I personally thought the partitioning was illogical. However, the decor style was still up-to-date. I'd like to express my gratitude to Jessica Sam (Manager Wang) from the Executive Lounge. Upon learning that we were waiting for a high-speed train and it was dinner time, she proactively reported to her supervisor to coordinate and provided us with complimentary dinner service at the Executive Lounge. Thumbs up! 👍 Also, thanks to the hotel for the lion-shaped cake. It's definitely worth staying here again!

The room facilities were online, but there was a slight musty smell. The bathroom faucet had rust that hadn't been cleaned. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic; after asking for feedback, they granted a late check-out, which was great. The turndown service training needs improvement. While I was in the room, the cleaning staff loudly asked about 'turndown service' from the doorway and, despite being told to come back later, never did. The pool changing room and the pool are not on the same floor, which is very inconvenient. The swimsuit spinner in the changing room was the most dilapidated and basic I've ever seen... and it didn't even work.
