Staying at the Jianguo Hotel in Guangzhou this time was a great experience. It's an established five-star hotel that truly lives up to its reputation. Both the facilities and services are excellent, and it's clear they've recently renovated. The front desk and concierge staff were all very attentive. They even provided complimentary fruit and coffee vouchers in the room, which was a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The location is also incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk from Guangzhou East Railway Station, and Metro Line 3 is right downstairs. There are so many places to explore around Guangzhou. Plus, the hotel offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!

This is an older hotel, but the service is excellent. The bellhop was incredibly helpful, carrying our luggage to the room and assisting with the transfer to our new room. They even helped load our bags into the car when we checked out – a big thank you to them! Despite a busy breakfast with many people, the food was replenished quite promptly. The location is also fantastic, close to the subway station and convenient for taxis. We even got to enjoy a wonderful lion dance performance right outside the hotel on Chinese New Year's Day!

I really don't understand why this place only has a 4.4 rating. We stayed in room 3009, which the front desk upgraded for us. The room was spacious, quiet, clean, tidy, and had large windows letting in plenty of sunshine. The adjacent room, 3010, was a bit smaller. The elevator was fast and quiet, much better than the one at another duplex apartment in Zhengjia Plaza. When we arrived, two handsome young men immediately came to help us with our luggage and brought it to our room. By the way, even a five-star hotel like the Garden Hotel doesn't offer this kind of service; we always have to carry our own luggage there, without even a chance to tip. The breakfast was small, exquisite, and delicious – perfectly adequate. The view from outside the restaurant was lovely; enjoying breakfast while looking at the scenery outside the window in the morning put us in a great mood. The restaurant staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, thumbs up! This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip, and we've stayed at places like the Jin Mao in Shanghai, the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, and the Howard Johnson in Sanya.

The Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe offers an excellent overall experience, balancing all aspects perfectly to meet five-star hotel standards. From check-in to check-out, the service was attentive and thoughtful, rooms were kept spotless, and facilities were well-maintained. Its convenient location is a particular highlight, making it ideal for both business trips and city exploration. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality accommodation. A special shout-out to Vicky, the account manager, who went above and beyond by pre-reserving two adjoining rooms for me, which was incredibly helpful for looking after my children. Her professionalism and dedication deserve a perfect 100% rating!

This was my first stay at a Marriott, and the front desk staff proactively upgraded us to a higher floor with a fantastic view. What impressed me most was the thoughtfulness of the housekeeper, Wang Chunfang, who helped us recover our child's retainer. My child accidentally left it in the room, wrapped in tissue, and most housekeepers might have easily thrown it out with the trash, so finding it was truly remarkable. Furthermore, Marriott's management and procedures are incredibly professional. They contacted me promptly after finding the retainer, but I was busy and missed the call. When I called back that evening, the person who answered had already changed shifts, but they immediately understood the entire situation by checking the system and made all the necessary arrangements. Overall, our stay at Zhengjia Marriott was extremely pleasant, and I'll definitely choose Marriott again if I have the chance!

Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and tasted great, easily comparable to a five-star hotel. This Chinese New Year, instead of joining the bustling crowds, I chose to stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich for a peaceful, introspective getaway. I brought my family along to celebrate the New Year here. Outside, there might have been fireworks, but inside, it was just the quiet comfort of books and warm tea. In this non-stop world, sometimes being able to simply zone out for a bit, or slowly enjoy a cup of tea without rushing, is truly something to celebrate. The New Year doesn't have to be about hectic travel and exhaustion; it can be about finding peace within yourself, and in a warm space, hearing your inner 'Happy New Year.' This Spring Festival, staying at the Sofitel felt like stepping into a warm, open, and inviting hotel. The New Year activities in the lobby were a big hit with guests, and the free couplet writing was a really creative touch. Mia at the front desk was also incredibly, incredibly enthusiastic with her service.

I chose to stay at the Sheraton Guangzhou again. My flight arrived late at night, and I checked in well past midnight. I contacted the hotel in advance to reserve a room, and they gave me the high-floor room I prefer! Although Guangzhou has been quite hot these past few days, the air conditioning in the hotel was too cold. I had to call housekeeping again at night to ask for an extra blanket, and they brought it very quickly! I really have to commend the customer service staff; whether it was day or night, they were able to quickly resolve any requests and were always incredibly enthusiastic and polite! The hotel room was spacious and bright, the shower had great water pressure, and the toiletries were good too! The executive lounge only has a two-hour happy hour for dinner; otherwise, it only offers soft drinks. The dinner at the executive lounge was quite good, with delicious dishes and desserts! For breakfast, I chose the buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor. Since it was Chinese New Year and there were many guests, the breakfast area was very crowded, and everyone had to queue for a table. Luckily, the food selection was rich and of good quality. I highly recommend the wonton noodles; they taste fantastic! There's a wide variety of teas for breakfast, including red date and goji berry tea, red date and ginger tea, Hong Kong-style milk tea, floral tea, black tea, green tea, etc., all of which are good. Plus, you can take coffee and tea to go from the breakfast restaurant, which is a real bonus! The hotel's location is excellent, right near Tee Mall and Grandview Mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient! And since it's in the city center, getting anywhere is easy! Check-in and check-out at the front desk were both quick and efficient! I'll definitely stay here again!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is right by Keyun Road, and getting to Pazhou is just a bridge away. There's plenty of parking, which is super convenient, and it's free for guests. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, 'welcome home' feeling. The lobby has a great design, and the fragrance is delightful. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and since it was Valentine's Day, they even gave us a small gift. The room view was excellent, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness details were impeccable. Breakfast offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, and the freshly cooked noodles were delicious. I especially want to praise the service; every staff member smiled, greeted guests proactively, and responded to requests incredibly fast. This is definitely a five-star hotel. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is my top choice. I will definitely stay here again!

I have to say, Garden Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as Guangzhou's veteran 'Platinum Five-Star' hotel. My stay this time far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could feel the accumulated sense of luxury. The iconic 'Golden Waterfall' and the spiral staircase are visually stunning, both classic and grand, perfectly representing the essence of Guangzhou. What surprised me most was that the front desk upgraded me by several levels for free, straight to the Canton Suite! I was truly overwhelmed with luck the moment I opened the door. The space was incredibly spacious, and the details were full of Lingnan cultural charm, making for a truly comfortable stay. The back garden is definitely a treasure, a quiet oasis in the bustling city center. With its cascading waterfall, pavilions, and koi pond, taking a stroll and enjoying a coffee in the garden was incredibly relaxing. And the breakfast experience deserves special praise. I tried all three restaurants, and the food was excellent at every one, setting me up perfectly for an energetic day.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Taojin subway station entrance. During Chinese New Year, the lobby was beautifully decorated with festive flair, and the doormen were attentive and welcoming. The hotel facilities are good, the bedding is comfortable, and there's a wide variety of restaurants nearby, with the Friendship Store right next door. The White Swan Hotel is one of Guangdong's oldest five-star hotels and has a real sense of history. Choosing White Swan when you're in Guangzhou is a great option.

This hotel is located in a historic architectural complex in Guangzhou, boasting a unique overall design. The inner courtyard garden and pool offer both beautiful views and excellent privacy. It truly embodies an old-school, understated luxury. I highly recommend checking out the junior suite, which features a 'Qingming Shanghe Tu' (Along the River During the Qingming Festival) artwork made with traditional Guangdong gold lacquer wood carving. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and there are convenient dining and drinking options on the first floor, so you don't even need to leave the building. We stayed during Chinese New Year, and the hotel activities made it a lively and convenient experience. The staff's professionalism reflects the high standards of an established star-rated hotel. I particularly commend Emily for her clear and professional answers when I inquired about breakfast during check-in.

The whole experience with the whole hotel is good ... except for transport... even morning run transport from hotel to terminal was good but from terminal to hotel ... I would say to him the driver ... go home dont work in the service industry . If i was the manager or the owner of the place. I would immediately ask him to leave . Other then that breakfast was ok ... late night snack why not leave it to the vending machine

Everything about our stay, from the food to the accommodation and transportation, was fantastic. We stayed in a luxurious garden view room, and it truly felt like living in a forest – the privacy was excellent. Our package included unlimited hot spring access, which I highly recommend. For a two-day, one-night stay, you can easily enjoy it twice, which is more than enough. A pleasant surprise was the free snacks available in the lounge on the second floor of the hot spring area! The resort also offers a shuttle service; just book it in advance, and you can conveniently get to any spot. The hotel service was impeccable; everyone was incredibly nice. I suggest opting for a package that includes breakfast. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western dishes – we ate until we were absolutely stuffed. The picture is of the small park opposite the hotel, which is great for a leisurely stroll and a walk after your meal.

We brought our child from Panyu to Bishuiwan Hot Spring Resort for a two-day, one-night stay, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We checked in smoothly at 12 PM, rested a bit after lunch, and then enjoyed the hot springs. The water quality was great, the environment was clean, and our little one had an absolute blast. In the evening, to manage our weight, the adults skipped dinner, but we ordered a delicious plate of stir-fried beef noodles for our child at the German Beer Plaza. The next day, the hotel's breakfast buffet was rich and varied, with a wide selection and great taste. Our child was incredibly happy with the food. In the morning, we enjoyed another relaxing and pleasant hot spring session. The whole experience was comfortable and unhurried, with great attention to detail. For instance, there were service staff near every hot spring pool offering tea and water, and if you wanted to take photos, waterproof phone pouches were provided at various spots. With the beautiful weather today, we even went for a short hike with our child. Mountains, water, sunshine – it was truly delightful! The entire trip, including subway travel from Guangzhou Panyu to Conghua Bus Station, round-trip taxis from Conghua Bus Station to the hot spring resort, and all food, accommodation, and activities, cost around 1500 yuan. It was excellent value for money. The service was thoughtful, the facilities were well-equipped, and the atmosphere for family travel was perfect – relaxing and rejuvenating. It was a very satisfying short getaway, highly recommended for families with children!

My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

As for the facilities, everything worked perfectly, from the air conditioning and TV to the bathroom fixtures. The mattress was just the right firmness, and we slept soundly until morning. Choosing to stay at the Four Seasons Guangzhou on Chinese New Year's Eve was absolutely the right decision! 🎉 The front desk is on the 70th floor. A lovely front desk attendant, upon learning we were visiting Guangzhou with our child specifically for New Year's, enthusiastically upgraded us to a Guangzhou Tower view room! Our room was on the 87th floor, and the moment we opened the door, we were truly amazed—the Canton Tower seemed almost within reach outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, and the entire dazzling night view of Zhujiang New Town was laid out before us. It was incredibly impressive. The room layout was excellent, and the space was very generous. Our child had a blast playing hide-and-seek. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were of high quality. Breakfast was, as always, up to Four Seasons standards—truly excellent. While the variety wasn't exceptionally vast, the quality was outstanding! On the morning of the first day of the New Year, the hotel even arranged dragon and lion dances on every floor, wishing every guest good fortune. In the lobby, there was also a master calligrapher writing Spring Festival couplets and 'Fu' characters, which our child thoroughly enjoyed participating in. Check-out was also very smooth, handled by a very enthusiastic staff member. Thumbs up!

This is my second stay at Rosewood this year, and I've noticed a significant improvement in service both times. It feels like Rosewood has invested a lot in staff training. Service used to be a weak point, but now it's really stepped up. From the moment the car pulled up and they helped with luggage, to the detailed communication during check-in, the executive lounge dinner, and the breakfast service and food quality, plus the cheerful pool staff – it truly feels like Rosewood's service has gotten much better. This time, I particularly want to commend the excellent room cleanliness. My child wore non-slip socks in the room for three days without changing them because it was so clean, which made us feel much more at ease... though the tea bags in the room were a bit disappointing!

For this Guangzhou vacation, my child has always loved Shangri-La, so we didn't hesitate to stay here again. Overall, our experience was very satisfying. We stayed in the Horizon Club for four consecutive nights. The housekeeping staff were incredibly diligent, keeping the room spotlessly clean and tidy every day, which made our stay very comfortable. They definitely deserve high praise for that. The only minor drawback that affected our overall experience was a small incident at breakfast on our departure day: Since we had an 7-8 hour high-speed train ride that day, we hadn't had time to prepare snacks the night before, and my child had only eaten a little before going for a walk. After I finished my breakfast, I remembered that the check-in slip on the first day mentioned a takeaway service. So, I asked a staff member about how to pack food. They told me I could place the bread on the table first. I picked a plate of bread, but when I went back to another staff member to ask for a takeaway bag, I was told that packing was not allowed. The situation was quite awkward at the time. I didn't argue further, but just asked what to do with the plate of bread. In the end, the staff member simply took away the bread I had selected. We stayed for four consecutive nights, with breakfast and dinner included, and didn't even dine at the hotel for several of the dinners. Honestly, we weren't concerned about the cost of a few pieces of bread. However, the inconsistent information and being directly refused and having the food taken away in front of us truly dampened our mood. What could have been a thoughtful service that enhanced our stay ended up bringing our perfect accommodation experience down to just barely passing.

The Langham Guangzhou is a large and stylish hotel with excellent service, and it's my go-to choice whenever I visit Guangzhou. I'd highlight a few great points: the bathrooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean; the breakfast spread is incredibly rich (though the queue for freshly made rice noodle rolls can be quite long); Pazhou is conveniently located, not far from areas like Tianhe and Zhujiang New Town, with taxi rides costing less than 20 RMB; and the Ming Court Chinese restaurant serves delicious food. For my trip to Guangzhou, I chose two hotels, each with its own advantages. The Ritz's location is absolutely superb! Staying in a tower-view room, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Canton Tower and the Pearl River at night. The lobby staff at the Ritz are incredibly professional, treating guests with warmth and enthusiasm. The room, though showing its age a bit, is clearly very well-maintained. It was clean and tidy. During my stay, I developed a bit of a cough, and when I called the front desk to ask for more drinking water, they promptly delivered an entire case. I'm very grateful for that! The hotel's breakfast restaurant also has a bit of an old-fashioned charm. Since it was Chinese New Year, there were a lot of guests, but everything was very orderly. While the breakfast offerings weren't particularly refined, they were perfectly adequate. The hotel is also conveniently located right next to the Guangdong Provincial Museum and Guangzhou Library, making it a highly recommended place to stay.

The front desk answers calls quickly and provides excellent service. The room isn't huge but it's comfortable, and both the bed and pillows are cozy.
