Booked the Jianguo Hotel with friends for the Guangzhou Marathon, and I highly recommend it for runners. The hotel service was quite good, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. Although the facilities are a bit old, overall it's still a good place to stay. The location is excellent; it's just 100 meters to Guangzhou East Railway Station Metro, and one stop gets you to Sports Center, plus a 10-minute walk. If I had known, I wouldn't have checked my bag, which would have allowed me to sleep an extra hour or so. Here's a suggestion: For the Guangzhou Marathon day, it would be great if the dim sum buffet could be extended until 3 PM or even later. After finishing the race, stretching, picking up items, and waiting for friends takes a while, and it gets a bit late. After a tiring run, if the hotel still offered Cantonese dim sum, we could shower, head downstairs to eat with friends, and then go back up to rest. Otherwise, we have to go through the hassle of showering, going out to eat, and then coming back to the hotel. Plus, having food available at the hotel at that time would likely increase the chances of guests booking consecutive nights, especially those not leaving that day.

The hotel experience was great! It's conveniently located very close to the subway station. The staff were warm and professional. Although the decor feels a bit dated, it didn't detract from the comfort of the room at all; I had a wonderful night's sleep. Special thanks to Manager Michael for the room upgrade and attentive service. I look forward to staying again!

Our stay at Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe was absolutely outstanding. Everything was at the highest level from start to finish. The hotel kindly complimentary provided breakfast for our child, which was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. The overall attitude and service from the staff were exceptional — genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. Special thanks to Tania at the reception — she was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Domenic was simply fantastic: he welcomed us, assisted us with everything we needed, and made us feel truly taken care of. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. All staff members were polite and welcoming. The food was excellent — honestly the best among all the hotels we have stayed at in Guangzhou. The location is also very good, convenient for both business and city access. In our opinion, this is the number one hotel in Guangzhou. Highly recommended. A true 5-star experience.

We stayed here for a total of four nights. The first stay was for one night before traveling to Shenzhen, and we returned for the remaining nights afterward. During our first arrival at around 5:00 PM, unfortunately the room was not ready, which was a bit disappointing. However, on our second check-in after returning from Shenzhen, the experience was much better. The rooms were well prepared, and we were assigned rooms next to each other on the same floor, which we really appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to have more staff at the reception desk, as it seemed understaffed at times. Improving this aspect would make the service even better.

A Luxurious Retreat with Standout Amenities My stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was excellent. The hotel truly excels in two key areas: first-class amenities and exceptional service. The pool and spa area is a genuine oasis—beautifully designed and perfectly equipped for relaxation. Equally impressive was the staff, who were consistently helpful, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. For complete transparency, my experience had two minor drawbacks. My room, while comfortable and well-appointed, showed slight signs of wear and would benefit from some maintenance updates. The dining experience was also inconsistent; some dishes were memorable, while others were merely average. That said, these points did little to diminish an otherwise wonderful stay. The overall comfort, serene ambiance, and superb service make the Sofitel Sunrich a hotel I would happily return to and recommend without hesitation.

Chance upon this place browsing through Trip.com and noticed the good reviews. No regrets as it’s a gem of a place - fantastically central location at Tianhe District with 2 subway lines, plentiful good food & wide ranging amenities etc. I chose the room with a balcony with a washing machine and it is very helpful to be able to do washing as needed. Room facilities are almost complete except for an iron. The cleaning lady is so polite, proactive and helpful and speaks volumes of their service level. Highly recommended value for money place to stay at a very convenient location!

I heard before that Sheraton Grand Guangzhou Hotel was one of Sheraton's flagship properties in China, so I decided to check in for a night in an executive room. Overall, it was indeed quite good, especially in terms of dining, location, and service. It's definitely a hotel I'd consider returning to. [Thumbs up][Slightly observing] Service: There was someone dedicated to opening car doors at the hotel entrance. When I told the lobby staff we had booked an executive room and wanted to check in at the lounge, an intern, I assume, initially didn't understand and suggested we check in at the front desk. However, a lobby manager quickly came over and resolved the issue. Checking in at the lounge took a bit longer than expected because the staff there were also interns [crying with laughter]. The service at both the lounge and the restaurants was excellent; used plates were cleared very quickly, even when it was busy, which is commendable! [Thumbs up][Big laugh] Dining: The happy hour at this lounge seems quite famous, and it proved to be true. Dishes were promptly replenished, with 10 hot dishes, 4-5 of which were main courses (meats), and all were pretty good. There was a wide variety of desserts and a rich selection of drinks and alcoholic beverages. This happy hour is definitely among the best in Marriott's 'big cafeterias.' [Golden potato][Squinting eyes]. Breakfast also had a good variety, including specialty dishes like congee and Hong Kong-style milk tea, all of which were well-prepared. [Slightly observing][Big laugh] Room: The bedroom part has been renovated with a minimalist and attractive design. The bathroom, however, felt relatively older, creating a strong stylistic dissonance with the bedroom. The view was decent and quite expansive. The suites here seem to be the highlight. [Facepalm] Location: Super prime location. Downstairs are Tiyuxi and Tiyu Center subway stations, making it convenient to go anywhere, and taxis are easy to find. Next to it are TeeMall and Parc Central, so you don't have to worry about food or shopping. It's suitable for people with all sorts of travel needs. [Cute and adorable]

Definitely not a 5* hotel. Called multiple times from room 1620, doesn’t work, wanted someone to collect baggage, so had to carry it myself. Which is fine, just not a 5* hotel standard. Rooms were very clean and everything else worked great. Front desk were helpful.

For the past three Christmases, my family and I have enjoyed a hotel vacation at Garden Hotel, and this year was no exception. We used a pre-purchased room voucher, and this year's special included dinner at the Summit Revolving Restaurant – once one of the city's most popular buffets, a must-visit when staying here. What truly stood out this time was the exceptional service from the staff. Their professionalism was top-notch, from the front desk to the guest services center and the buffet restaurant. Everyone was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, ensuring my twins had a fantastic weekend. Regarding the room, we were upgraded to an executive room, our first time staying in one here. The biggest difference from a standard suite was the significantly larger space, especially the bathroom. The view from the window directly overlooked Friendship Shopping Mall, and the evening lights truly gave it a 'city that never sleeps' vibe. Of course, there was one minor disappointment: their famous waterfall began renovations on December 7th and won't reopen until January 1st, 2026. We missed the chance to take photos at this popular spot, haha.

The small pillows and plush toys were quite unique. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping auntie on our floor was warm and provided excellent service; the cleaning was superb! Drinking water was plentiful. There are many convenient dining options nearby. Although it's in a bustling urban area, the room was very quiet. The rooftop pool offers nice views.

This was my first stay at Zhongjiu, and the service was excellent. Check-in was handled by Katrina, a super gentle and sweet young lady. Knowing I was going to dine at the Four Seasons Hall, she kindly arranged a room on a higher floor near the elevator, making it just a short walk to the restaurant. All the staff, from reception to room service and baggage handling, were incredibly friendly and proactively helpful. However, the room was unfortunately super hot. They mentioned that many guests feel cold, so they're currently only running the fresh air system. Even with the window open and the fan on, it was still extremely hot. Although it's winter, the outdoor temperature in Guangzhou is still 25°C+, so a hotel with such good insulation really should have the air conditioning on!

The room was spacious and bright, with a good separation of wet and dry areas, and very clean. There's a restaurant, which was really convenient since I arrived at night and could just eat there. The late-night supper was excellent too – the fried rice noodles were delicious, not too salty or greasy, and the accompanying chicken soup was also great. I'll definitely stay here again for my next layover. The airport shuttle was super convenient, and the driver even helped with my luggage.

The most hassle-free accommodation choice near Guangzhou Airport! It's super convenient for transfers to and from Terminal 3. The hotel is very close to T3, and it only takes about ten minutes to get there from the hotel using the free shuttle bus. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the soundproofing is superb, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep so you can start your onward journey in top condition.

**Service:** The staff were very warm and welcoming. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and all services were very attentive. They even helped deliver takeout food to our room, and arranged for a shuttle to take us directly to our room upon arrival. **Environment:** The hotel is sprawling, with a beautiful garden estate ambiance. Guest rooms are spread across individual villas and standalone buildings. Getting around is convenient; you can call for a shuttle from your room phone to any point on the property, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll. **Facilities:** The hotel is well-equipped with a gym, two swimming pools, a hot spring, and a children's playground – perfect for a weekend getaway where you can make full use of all the amenities. The rooms are spacious, though some of the in-room facilities felt a bit dated, they were still clean. **Hygiene:** The cleanliness was decent. While you could spot some signs of wear and tear, it wasn't dirty. Being a hotel nestled in a forested area, it's not uncommon to occasionally see small critters like spiders or snails, but keeping the screen windows closed largely resolves any concerns. **Overall:** This hotel is highly recommended for a weekend getaway, a family vacation, a romantic escape for couples, or even a solo retreat to simply switch off and relax.

Bijushuiwan has many hot spring pools, and quite a few of them are unique. My favorites were the ginger pool and the muscle-relaxing pool; the herbal scent was quite strong. There were also plenty of stone slab beds, so no need to worry about finding a spot. Plus, they have a fish spa! 🤗 The hotel is right next to the Liuxi River, and a stroll along the riverbank is very pleasant. For breakfast, they even had handmade pulled noodles with generous chunks of beef brisket! 😀 They also offered rice noodle rolls; I tried the pork and egg one with added green onions and vegetables – it was delicious. Many dim sum items commonly found at morning tea were also available. What I appreciated most was their selection of floral teas; there were so many varieties, and the lavender one was especially flavorful. It would be great if they could set up a few tables outside in the open air, as it gets quite crowded and it can be hard to find a spot for breakfast, and most tables are large round ones where you have to share.

The hotel and the location are outstanding. Just a remark about the buffet at night and the breakfast, the food is too local for this kind of hotel rate. for that night price (1200+ RMB), I would appreciate a more ”fresh” night buffet” and a more balanced ” asian / foreigner breakfast”. coffee is good, juice is processed, asian food is like an average buffet, foreigner side has just basic bread. If you're looking to stay in this very nice hotel, just eat outside. Hot spring is also very nice, many choice of pools.

It was quite late when I checked in, but the front desk thoughtfully upgraded me to a king room with a private pool, allowing me to enjoy the hot spring whenever I wished. The ambiance was as excellent as always. After a full day of working overtime, a soak in the hot spring completely relaxed me. It would have been the icing on the cake if food delivery could be brought directly to the room.

This hotel feels like a second home to me; I've become a regular guest. What truly wins me over is the exceptional service, which always makes me feel genuinely cared for, and its incredibly convenient location. One of the most comforting features is the fresh air circulation system in every room. I'm quite sensitive to smells and dislike the stuffy feeling of prolonged air conditioning. This system perfectly solves my problem. Once activated, the air in the room remains consistently fresh and clear, making breathing feel wonderfully smooth and comfortable. The hot water system also deserves high praise; the water comes out quickly and steadily, and it operates very quietly. The showerhead delivers just the right amount of pressure – a generous curtain of water without being too forceful, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. Additionally, I really appreciate their design that separates the vanity from the shower and toilet areas. This not only improves efficiency but also adds a sense of spaciousness. The mattresses and pillows here are truly the highlight. The mattress firmness is perfectly calibrated, offering ideal support that makes falling asleep incredibly easy. And those latex pillows? I loved them so much that I ended up buying a set for my own home. Given their comfort and reasonable price, I even helped a few friends purchase them as well. Service is absolutely impeccable – truly 'responsive and accommodating.' The staff always replies promptly and handles my requests efficiently. Perhaps because they know I've visited many times, they often proactively offer room upgrades and thoughtfully provide complimentary breakfast for children accompanying me. The hotel's public facilities are also continuously improving. The public laundry area now has two more sets of LG washing machines than last year, which are not only effective but also offer excellent drying results. The gym has added a new multi-station training machine, providing more diverse workout options and enhanced functionality. Finally, the guest room cleaning is meticulously detailed and thorough. Whether it's the towels or the cups, you can see they've undergone careful cleaning and strict disinfection. The floors are always spotless. This attention to detail makes every stay feel incredibly reassuring and pleasant.

Describing my stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou as perfect is no exaggeration. The day before check-in, Della from the Executive Lounge contacted me to confirm my arrival time and arranged an early check-in for me. On top of that, she upgraded my room so I could enjoy the stunning views of Canton Tower from my window, which truly elevated my entire experience. Later that evening, when I booked a table at the lobby bar, Della once again secured the best spot for me, directly facing the Canton Tower, making my drinks experience absolutely perfect. Finally, I'm incredibly grateful for Della's service during my stay. She deserves a special mention and a huge thank you!

I booked a standard twin room for a two-night, three-day stay. Upon arrival at the hotel in the morning, I was warmly greeted by a young man at the main entrance who helped me with my luggage to the check-in area in the lobby. While I was waiting, a lovely lady named Beryl from the hotel approached me to inquire about my needs. After learning that I was in Guangzhou for sightseeing and food, she proactively upgraded me to a river view room and provided a temporary room key card (as the room wasn't ready yet), along with a luggage storage card. She noticed it had been over thirty years since my last visit and enthusiastically recommended attractions and restaurants. For lunch, I followed her suggestion and went to Bingsheng across from Taikoo Hui, and the food was indeed fresh and delicious. Near evening, while I was enjoying a Pearl River cruise, I received a call from a gentleman at the hotel who further upgraded me to a deluxe river view suite. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and chocolates for both days. Honestly, among all the hotels I've stayed at in various places, their service this time was exceptionally thorough, warm, and left me completely satisfied in every aspect. The hotel's amenities were also very pleasing; the in-room facilities were new, well-arranged, and grand. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit Guangzhou.

My recent stay was very disappointing, largely due to discriminatory treatment by the hotel. At breakfast, the restaurant's front desk informed me that for safety reasons, guests were not allowed to wear room slippers into the dining area. I respected this rule and immediately went back upstairs to change after being told. However, as I was leaving the restaurant, I saw two women at the restaurant's front desk taking off the yellow plastic slippers provided by the restaurant and putting on their room slippers. Furthermore, there was a large bag of new, packaged yellow plastic slippers clearly visible at the front desk. I subsequently raised this issue with the hotel, and a male manager explained that these two women had been staying at the hotel for several days and came down late for breakfast, which was why they were provided with yellow slippers. This explanation and handling of the situation clearly demonstrates differential treatment. 1. **Discriminatory Treatment**: Should all guests, whether staying for a long or short period, not follow the same rules? Is it acceptable to apply a double standard based solely on the length of stay? 2. **Lack of Respect for Guests**: Upon check-in, I was neither informed in advance that 'room slippers are not allowed in the restaurant' nor were there any written notices. I actively cooperated with the rule, yet the hotel failed to enforce it fairly, which I find disrespectful to guests. 3. **Manager's Attitude**: When I inquired about the situation, the manager's phone response lacked politeness, further negatively impacting my stay. On a positive note, the service attitude of the young lady at the front desk was excellent! She was very polite, and the hotel offers direct views of the Canton Tower.

The President Hotel Guangzhou boasts an excellent location, right outside Gangding Station Exit C on Metro Line 3. After walking through the President Digital Plaza, turn left, and you'll find the hotel lobby. The lobby's decor has a retro feel, reminiscent of the Republic of China era. To access rooms, you need to swipe your card in the elevator. There's a small bar area by the elevators with complimentary bottled water for guests. The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with an 'XiaoDu' voice assistant, allowing you to control curtains, air conditioning, and lights – very smart. Thanks to the cleaning button, the staff tidied the room immaculately every day. The mini-fridge was stocked with soy milk and Tea π, perfect for taking out while exploring. It's also conveniently located for a walk to TaiKoo Hui and a meal at Bingsheng Taste. Plus, food deliveries are brought directly to your room by a robot, which is very convenient.
