The room exceeded my expectations! It offered expansive views and excellent natural light, with the scenery outside the window completely unobstructed ✨. The guest room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the overall decor was cozy yet upscale. It truly maximized the stay experience and offered great value for money, making it the best choice for business trips.

The Westin Guangzhou is in an excellent location, right by a subway station, making it super convenient to get to East Station and TaiKoo Hui. The rooms, while a bit older, are well-maintained, and the classic ”Heavenly Bed” is incredibly relaxing. Breakfast is especially abundant, with freshly made rice noodle rolls, congee, and noodles that are all very authentic. Although the facilities lean a bit more towards a business style, it offers great value for money as a base in the core Tianhe area.

This was my second stay here, and they proactively upgraded me to a suite. The bedroom was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view outside. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it's in the bustling Tianhe area, it was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant environment was also nice, with a trendy, 'influencer-esque' vibe. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to Zhengjia Plaza and Taikoo Hui within 10 minutes. They also have family rooms, so I might consider bringing my kids here for a stay during the summer vacation.

Their attitude was excellent; they were very accommodating when I requested items and were well-prepared. They also helped me deliver my luggage and flowers.

The hotel was fully booked due to a concert, so the front desk kindly upgraded me to an executive suite, which I really appreciated! 🙏 **Amenities:** Fantastic! The in-room Jacuzzi and dryer were incredibly practical. **Cleanliness:** Five-star standard. Having two bathrooms in the suite was very convenient. **Environment:** Located on the 21st floor, it was very quiet. **Service:** Excellent! I left an earring in the room when I checked out, and they found it and brought it to my door. Breakfast was extensive, but during peak holiday times, it gets very crowded with queues, so it's best to go during off-peak hours.

Traveling to Guangdong for a business trip with my colleagues, we checked in on the only sunny day amidst several days of heavy rain. The front desk staff thoughtfully arranged a stadium-view room with a great view and even gave us a bag of fruit. The pleasant weather, comfortable room, and friendly service left us with an absolutely wonderful impression of Guangzhou. Our first stay at Mercure was fantastic.

The front desk service was excellent, especially the check-in receptionist Doris Alyssa. Also, Mason, a male manager in the lobby, was particularly enthusiastic. They gave me a free room upgrade to a very quiet room with a curved floor-to-ceiling window, offering a great view of the Canton Tower at night. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!

Stayed in comfort queen with a city view room. First time at Timmy, but normally stay in other hotel in same building. Hotel in very good location and convenient. Staff were great. Good aircon. Good price. Room was clean, but a bit tired. Also be aware of the bathroom/shower/toilet design if in this room. Shower and toilet in same room and separated by curtain which is ok, the water goes over to the toilet a little. However you enter the room by the shower, so if you wanted to go to the toilet after a shower, your feet get wet. It's just a bad design. I think larger rooms have less problem. The sink is outside which is fine, but right near the bed. Our room looked out to the main street - the windows are not soundproofed so was a bit loud at night. No fridge.

Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.62km from downtown
My experience at the hotel started off on a bad note right from the moment I arrived. Firstly, my luggage was in the trunk, and I was struggling to get it out by myself. A hotel staff member was standing right next to me, holding someone else's bags, just waiting – he didn't offer to help me at all. While I was still struggling with my luggage, the staff member told me not to close the car trunk. I didn't quite understand him at first, so I closed it as usual. He then actually made a 'tsk' sound in annoyance. Apparently, the reason he was just standing there waiting was because the guests whose luggage he was holding had booked the same car I was getting out of, and he had intended to put their bags straight in. But because I closed the door, he had to open it again, which clearly irritated him. Then, in the lobby, I was focused on filling out some paperwork with my head down and inadvertently walked to the side. The manager politely informed me that I needed to join the queue, which I completely understood. However, he spoke to me while I was concentrating, startling me, which caused the document I was on the verge of finishing to be lost, and I had to start all over again. Finally, the front desk staff had a good attitude. But even though I arrived at nearly 1 PM on a Monday, a weekday, the hotel had no rooms available for check-in. I understand I was an hour earlier than the official check-in time, but I've stayed at so many hotels before – The Ritz-Carlton, Niccolo, Hyatt, Hilton – and I've never encountered a situation on a weekday at this time where there were no rooms available. It completely disrupted my plans; my phone and laptop were both dead, and I had to wait in the lobby, which was very disappointing. While I was sitting on the sofa in the lobby, a man even asked me for food. I was genuinely shocked that someone like that could gain entry to the main lobby. To add to that: On my first night, I discovered that the electric blind in the bathroom for the bathtub was broken and could only be pulled down partway. I was too tired to bother fixing it and just wanted to sleep when suddenly the faucet started dripping… The next morning, when I went to blow-dry my hair in the bathroom, the outlet had no power, so I couldn't use the hairdryer either…

This hotel is really close to my company in Guangzhou, so I've been staying here a lot recently. I really like the unique corridor design, and the breakfast is great – a good variety and quite filling. A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 11th floor on the 28th. She found my ID card holder that I'd lost in the hallway and returned it to me. While it wasn't valuable, it saved me a lot of hassle! It immediately made me feel a real connection to the hotel.

This hotel is located in the Tianhe business district, making it an excellent choice for business travelers and ideal for leisure guests too. It's not far from attractions like Zhengjia Plaza and Canton Tower, with a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes. Just around the corner from the hotel is Guangzhou Restaurant, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find a street full of eateries. The only downside is that the hotel entrance is tucked away in an alley, so taxis and cars can't drive right up to the door; you'll need to walk a short distance with your luggage. The breakfast tasted good, though a bit simple. While the selection was limited, it was very delicious. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a stylish and comfortable design, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The hotel also offers a complimentary fitness center and self-service laundry room. Upon check-in, I participated in the hotel's ”Breathe with Earth” activity and each person received a gift! 😄

I chose the veteran Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel because of its bustling commercial surroundings and convenient transportation. It's just a short bus ride to Guangzhou Wanguo Outlets, and other attractions are also easily accessible! I highly recommend trying the food at Da Ge Restaurant when you're in Guangzhou. Coincidentally, I visited on March 8th, and the hotel even warmly presented me with a rose! This is a well-established five-star hotel in a bustling area, offering excellent service, quality, and atmosphere. Its prime location is a major plus, with various bus lines and Metro Line 2 right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Yesterday morning, for instance, it only took 20 minutes and four metro stops from the hotel to Haizhu Square (Exit F) to catch the Guangzhou-Huizhou bus, making the trip to Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou super easy. The hotel's food street also has good quality options; I recommend the intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Noodles. On the first floor, there are several coffee shops, dessert places, and fast food joints that are convenient and affordable. The sky garden and swimming pool on the fourth floor offer a pleasant environment and are definitely worth checking out.

It's a good classic hotel that has all basic set up. We like the separated bathroom from toilet as it helps us speed up self cleaning etc after a long day. The midnight meal provided is a plus for a quick recharged. Customer service at front counter is so kind assisting me at making food delivery as my mobile App somehow doesn't work to make order. Service: The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded us to the main building, which was fantastic! The staff member with ID 8300 was very enthusiastic and attentive. Plenty of water, towels, and bathrobes were supplied, and requests were handled promptly. The service was the absolute best part! Hygiene: The bedding was clean, hygienic, and comfortable. Towels and bathrobes were clean. Facilities: There are team-building activities near the hotel. The public hot spring area was ordinary, neither good nor bad. The room can accommodate four people, but the hot spring tub in the room couldn't fit four; two adults and one child could barely take turns soaking. Both the hotel's breakfast and dinner were very good, and having a place to hang clothes was a thoughtful touch. Summary: The highlights were the service, dining, hygiene, and pure hot spring water.

Dusit Thani Hot Springs Resort A Thai-style hot spring hotel with a good amount of space. Its more than 100 small villas are built along the hillside, following the terrain. Guests can get around the hotel using golf carts, and staff proactively help with luggage. It has that laid-back Southeast Asian resort vibe. Each small villa has its own hot spring tub in the courtyard, so you can fill it up and soak whenever you want, which is much more pleasant than public hot springs. It's also great for photos. The in-room mini-bar drinks are free, and they even gave a complimentary small bottle of wine. The toiletries are L'Occitane. Aside from other issues, the natural environment and service are excellent. However, the rooms are really showing their age and haven't been well-maintained. The curtains are difficult to draw, and some tiles are broken and haven't been repaired. The washbasin area design isn't very practical and is inconvenient to use. The hairdryer quality is quite poor and not very effective. The public hot spring area experience also wasn't great; there are too few signs, and the dim lighting is quite disappointing. It's easy to trip in the dark, which is quite dangerous. Breakfast is quite varied, with fresh ingredients for made-to-order noodles, wontons, and excellent toppings like beef offal, radish, and preserved vegetables with minced pork. The freshly made rice noodle rolls had a skin that was too thick and not much meat. The preserved egg and lean pork congee had plenty of preserved egg and meat slices, and the seasoning was good.

Visited Bishuiwan Hot Spring Resort in Conghua with my family during the May Day holiday, and it was a perfect and incredibly relaxing family getaway! The resort is nestled by the mountains and a river, surrounded by lush greenery, offering fresh, tranquil air away from the city's hustle and bustle. The vacation vibe here is just fantastic. The hot spring park boasts numerous pools of various types. The natural radon hot spring water is wonderfully smooth, and the pools are tucked away amidst the trees, providing excellent privacy. It was incredibly enjoyable for the elderly to relax and rejuvenate. There's also a dedicated kids' water play area with full facilities; the shallow water section is safe and thoughtful, keeping the children thoroughly entertained, so we didn't have to constantly watch over them. The guest rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, with comfortable bedding and excellent amenities. The dining options were diverse, and the dishes were light and palatable, perfect for both seniors and children. The staff were warm, attentive, and very polite, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. Adults can unwind and relax, kids can play to their heart's content, and the elderly can enjoy a leisurely, health-focused experience. It truly meets all the needs for a family trip in one place. It's definitely on our family's permanent travel list, and I highly recommend it for families with children or multi-generational trips.

My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

Poor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary. 1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos. 2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default. 3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant. 4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus. 5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.

The room was amazing. I recommend this place in guangzhou. The services were clean. The air-conditioner was grey overnight. It was a very comfy bed. The bathtub was such a bonus. They have free washing machine and dryer facilities. There was a mini gym as well. The staff were really helpful throughout and very accessible. Five stars and I highly recommend.

The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door.

I'm absolutely smitten with the Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Hotel after my layover there! First off, I have to rave about the service! My entire experience was fantastic, from check-in to check-out, everything was so smooth and hassle-free. The front desk staff and the shuttle drivers were all incredibly thoughtful, genuinely attentive, not just going through the motions. The hotel's welcome ambassador even contacted me before I arrived to get my flight details, ensuring I could check in immediately upon arrival instead of waiting for room cleaning – a huge thumbs-up for that! The location is just perfect, right next to the airport. The shuttle gets you to the terminal in just a few minutes, which is a lifesaver for transit passengers like me. No need to rush or worry about missing my flight. The room also exceeded my expectations; it was so clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. I could really relax and recover from the fatigue of travel. Next time I have a layover in Guangzhou, I'm definitely staying here again!

This was an absolutely unforgettable and flawless stay! Every single staff member demonstrated top-tier hospitality and incredible warmth, making me feel completely at home from the very beginning. A massive thank you to Icy and Sherry at the Front Desk. They attentively listened to my preferences and swiftly arranged a seamless room change. The upgraded room was not only wonderfully spacious but also featured absolutely breathtaking panoramic views. Staying there was a pure delight! The wellness experience was definitely another major highlight of the trip. I am so grateful to Hannah at the Spa; her genuine and engaging introduction is exactly what convinced me to treat myself to a spa session. I also want to thank Karina for her incredibly detailed walkthrough of the fully equipped gym and steam room, which made me feel completely comfortable enjoying the facilities. Furthermore, my therapist, Abby, was exceptionally professional—her expert techniques provided deep healing and total relaxation during the treatment. The evening at the Bar was equally impeccable! A special shout-out to Lawrence, who went out of his way to secure a fantastic seat and handle my booking perfectly. He paid close attention to my needs and was a brilliant conversationalist, which allowed me to thoroughly enjoy a deeply relaxing and delightful time at the bar. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. It is a rare, ultra-attentive, and truly immersive luxury experience. I will undoubtedly be returning on my next visit to Guangzhou!

This hotel's core advantage is its prime location atop the 530-meter East Tower, with the lobby and rooms starting from the 95th floor, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Canton Tower and Pearl River. It's truly considered the pinnacle of high-rise hotels in Guangzhou. Key Highlights: * **Exceptional Service:** The personal butler proactively adds you on WeChat, special occasions like anniversaries are celebrated with complimentary cakes and turndown service, and they remember guests' dietary preferences – these thoughtful touches are a real highlight. * **Hardware & Design:** Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel boasts exquisite artistic taste. Le Labo toiletries and Dyson hairdryers are standard amenities. * **Diverse Dining:** Features a variety of unique dining spaces, including Hei Jin Yi (Japanese cuisine on the 107th floor), Chi Zui (craft beer bar on the 6th floor), and Guang Yu Xuan (Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine). My top choice for business trips!

Staying at the Shangri-La Guangzhou was fantastic! The location is superb, very close to the Pazhou Exhibition Center, and within walking distance to the tram. The river view from my room was absolutely stunning. The room itself was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Cantonese dim sum was authentic. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk and housekeeping were very responsive. The pool and garden areas are perfect for relaxation. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!

This package booked through Ctrip was particularly satisfying, thank you Ctrip and thank you Langham Hotel! 🌹 When I checked in yesterday afternoon, I requested to switch from a king-size bed room to a twin room. Since it was the Qingming Festival holiday, there were many guests, and twin rooms were already fully booked. Ady at the front desk was very thoughtful and upgraded me to a suite, which also faced south. I could perfectly see the red Xingguang Bridge and the Guangdong Science Center in the university town – absolutely delightful! The room even had two bathrooms, which was incredibly convenient for two people. The next morning, I used the swimming pool and changing rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to the usual sauna and steam room, there was also a hot spring bath, which was incredibly relaxing. They also thoughtfully provided a swimsuit spinner and disposable bags for wet clothes. The swimming pool itself was spacious and the water was very clean, clearly well-maintained. The bedroom had a Bluetooth speaker, which easily connected to my phone to play music. Even though the hotel opened in 2013, making it 13 years old now, and doesn't have all the flashy features of newly built hotels, the years of meticulous service really shine through, offering just the right amount of thoughtful care. From the hotel, you can walk to the Exhibition Center and take the sightseeing tram to Nanfeng Station, where the Tencent building is located. This is the best spot to watch the sunset. One more stop further is Party Pier (Pa Di), which has many options for drinks and dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton boasts an excellent location, directly across the river from Canton Tower. The Executive Lounge, in particular, offers a delightful combination of delicious food and stunning views – it's truly relaxing 😌. We checked in at the lounge, and Duty Manager Mu Yan was incredibly professional and thorough, warmly introducing us to the hotel and nearby attractions. The hotel breakfast is incredibly generous with a massive selection area; it's almost overwhelming trying to take it all in! There are many freshly prepared dishes, and the pastries from the bakery section are exceptionally good.

Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|1.42km from downtown
The location of this hotel is absolutely impeccable—just a nice walking distance to Tianhe's major malls, which made exploring the area very convenient. However, a few in-room issues dampened the experience. The kettle was quite odd: no matter how many batches of water I boiled and replaced, a layer of dust always floated on the surface. That really put me off using it. The toilet (perhaps not all) auto-flushed while I was still seated, instead of waiting until I stood up like normal intelligent toilets. A technician might want to look into that. Amenities could use some improvement too. For example, the cotton bud fell apart before I even used it—the cotton was already detaching from the stick. Overall, great spot if you're out all day, the hotel staffs are extremely friendly and could help you deliver your orders to your doorstep using a cute robot.

The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|1.52km from downtown
The location is definitely its biggest advantage; you can walk to Guangzhou East Station, which is incredibly convenient for catching trains. No need for taxis or detours, making it particularly friendly for transit travelers. The basic room amenities are sufficient, but the hygiene was only so-so, with dust in some corners indicating a lack of detailed cleaning. The facilities overall are a bit dated, with some aging furniture and bathroom fixtures, leading to an average experience. The bedding was reasonably comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. Service was standard, nothing special. This hotel is best suited for travelers who prioritize convenience above all else and don't have high expectations for accommodation quality. The value for money is just average.

The one-bedroom apartment was very comfortable with a great view, offering a distant glimpse of the Canton Tower. The environment around Bio-Island is lovely, with birds singing and flowers blooming. It's a shame that all the convenience stores downstairs were closed during Chinese New Year, which made buying necessities a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was what you'd expect from an apartment hotel – perfectly decent. The staff were all very warm and attentive. It's super close to the metro station, making getting around a breeze. It was really considerate that they didn't double their prices during Chinese New Year. I'm actually thinking of coming back to stay for a few months in the winter!
