The hotel's overall environment is decent, and the staff's service attitude is very good. The follow-up specialist's service was also excellent [rose emoji]. The location is extremely convenient, with a shopping mall right across the street, making it easy to get around and shop. The hotel offers complimentary coffee, although the taste is a bit bland. The only minor drawback is that the room facilities are a bit old and the decor style feels dated, giving it an old-fashioned hotel vibe. It might be more suitable for older travelers. I hope the hotel can renovate and upgrade the room hardware in the future for an even better stay experience. The follow-up specialist's service was very good.

We booked this hotel specifically for the 40th-floor kids' club, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. We came to Guangzhou with our child, and after seeing many reviews praising the Westin's indoor kids' club on the 40th floor, we decided to stay here. Unfortunately, the kids' club was quite disappointing – there was a strong, pungent smell inside. I'm not sure if it's been recently renovated, but even as an adult, I felt a bit dizzy after a few minutes, let alone letting my child play in there. On top of that, it only opens at 12 PM daily, and there wasn't a single staff member in sight, which honestly made me a bit uneasy. However, putting the kids' club aside, the rest of the hotel was excellent. Our stay on the executive floor was very satisfying, with attentive service. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The location is also very convenient, close to shopping and dining. While the heated pool isn't huge, the water temperature was comfortable and perfectly adequate for children to splash around in. Overall, if you're booking this hotel solely for the kids' club, like we did, you might want to reconsider. I hope the hotel addresses the indoor air quality issue, as health and safety are paramount when traveling with children. However, if you're here for a business trip or prioritize the executive benefits, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

I've stayed here many times, and I'm so happy they upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite again this time. It was a very comfortable stay, and they even provided welcome fruits. Both the room and the living room have floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a pretty good view. The location is also very central; you can walk to Zhengjia Plaza. This time I tried the breakfast; the restaurant is beautiful, but the food selection is a bit limited. I pretty much always stay here when I come to Guangzhou.

The hotel was as good as expected. After checking in, we had about an hour of free time, so we went to the hotel lobby lounge for a coffee. Both the ambiance and the drinks were great. The breakfast selection was also rich. The room was large and quiet, and the shower pressure was strong enough. A special mention goes to the incredibly helpful and friendly staff at the front desk and the housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's decor is really nice, and having a self-service laundry room and free parking is super convenient and great value for money! The room was clean, very close to the subway station so transportation was a breeze, and there are even food options right outside near the commercial street. The soundproofing in the room was good too, so I slept peacefully. The only minor downside was that there was no bar soap provided for washing my face 🙃

Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were pleasant and easy to communicate with. The room was spacious with large windows offering expansive views. The mattress was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a great night's rest after a day of exploring. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water was stable, and the cleaning was meticulous, leaving it spotless and odor-free. Amenities are comprehensive; the heated pool and gym were both fully operational. Staying at this garden hotel, I unexpectedly encountered a 'hanging spring' in the hotel museum – a fascinating connection to the Maritime Silk Road from last year to this year! I'm really impressed with this garden hotel. Learning about its history in the museum, admiring the gilded murals and caisson ceilings, and strolling through the back garden to feed the koi, it's clear there's a lot of thought behind the design. Every evening, passing by the restaurant with live music, I made a mental note to come back for a drink next time. This stay at the garden hotel was a wonderful surprise. The front desk staff, Vicky, saw I was with my 14-year-old son and proactively upgraded our room, making us feel incredibly welcome. We also booked a guided tour of the hotel museum. Our guide, Mandy, had a lovely voice and was incredibly thoughtful and gentle. Due to the hot weather, and considering there were seniors and children in our group, Mandy expertly condensed the tour into an hour-long, impactful highlights reel. This left us with a deeper appreciation for the garden hotel and even the hospitality industry as a whole! She even thoughtfully designed 'blind box' gifts at the end, which felt like a personal blessing. It's rare to stay at a hotel and come away with such a sense of culture and emotional connection – truly a lot of heart put into it! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Guangzhou. Loved it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprise Suite Upgrade! Absolutely Perfect Experience! My stay at China Hotel Guangzhou this time was such a pleasant surprise! I originally booked a standard room, but to my delight, our customer manager Sandy thoughtfully upgraded us to a suite for free 🏠! Decided to take a spontaneous trip during the May Day holiday and looked into nearby resorts. Mulian Zhuang came highly recommended for its overall value for money, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived on the afternoon of the 30th, which helped us avoid the peak rush. From the parking attendant to the front desk staff and the shuttle bus driver, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The front desk kindly upgraded our room to one by the lake, which was incredibly comfortable and offered a more peaceful environment. The first day was a bit chilly, but lying on the balcony deckchair, listening to the birds and the sound of the water, was incredibly relaxing. It really helped us achieve our vacation goals, haha! The hotel itself is designed like a garden, with rooms scattered across the hillside, connected by small paths. This layout ensures minimal disturbance between guests. Taking a leisurely stroll around is lovely, and if you don't feel like walking, you can always 'call' for the park shuttle, which is very convenient. If you're looking for peace and quiet, soaking in the hot springs or swimming here are excellent choices. I was so engrossed in the scenery that I barely took any photos!

This is by far the most delightful and impressive resort hotel I've stayed at in the past two years! The room was clean, spacious, and the view was fantastic. Of course, there are always areas for improvement, but the service attitude here is absolutely incredible! So good, in fact, that I can overlook any minor imperfections. First, there's the complimentary butler service arranged before check-in. They sent details about the hotel, nearby transportation, and travel tips a day in advance, which was incredibly professional and thoughtful. The butler was also very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. A huge shoutout and ten likes to Luke for all his help over these two days! 👍🏻✖️10. The hotel restaurant staff were also very attentive and proactive. When they realized it was our birthday, they even asked if we wanted the band to sing 'Happy Birthday,' and a waiter came over to wish us a happy birthday personally – we really felt their sincerity. Second, the complimentary travel photography service included with the room rate was excellent. The photography studio is called 'Shiguang Travel Photography,' and the photographer was very cooperative, professional, and patiently guided us, offering valuable suggestions and emotional support. The photos turned out amazing with a high success rate! The makeup artist was also skilled and professional, providing excellent service. Five stars to them! Even though the tennis court is outsourced, the person in charge of the venue also provided exceptional service. So many pleasant surprises! This is the first time I've been this satisfied with a hotel, and I'll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone for their thoughtfulness! ❤️

The room was clean and tidy. What pleased me most was the hairdryer – they've upgraded it to a new model, and the power and temperature are just right. The temperature adjustment cools down quickly, which I really appreciated! We had dinner directly at the hotel's Chinese restaurant (Cantonese cuisine), and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The hot springs were very relaxing. Even though it's summer, the evenings here are cooler than in the city, making it perfect for a soak. We went after dinner, alternating between soaking and relaxing, and had plenty of time. My only minor gripe was with breakfast; the variety of dishes didn't seem as extensive as before. I think they could make some adjustments there. Also, I was quite unhappy that there was no one managing the queue at the noodle soup station. I was queuing properly, but then people without any queuing etiquette just crowded together, making it chaotic and easy for people to cut in line. Guests trying to maintain order themselves can easily lead to arguments. I really hope they can assign staff specifically for guidance during peak times, rather than having one person do multiple jobs, as the staff preparing food inside can't possibly manage this. The same applies to the hot spring lounge. Last night, I even saw someone using the cookie tongs to pick up fruit, and when I wanted fruit, all the tongs were gone. The lack of order was frustrating. While there were enough items for everyone, some inconsiderate guests can really ruin the experience. I believe the hotel has a responsibility to monitor and improve such situations.

The hotel and the location are outstanding. Just a remark about the buffet at night and the breakfast, the food is too local for this kind of hotel rate. for that night price (1200+ RMB), I would appreciate a more ”fresh” night buffet” and a more balanced ” asian / foreigner breakfast”. coffee is good, juice is processed, asian food is like an average buffet, foreigner side has just basic bread. If you're looking to stay in this very nice hotel, just eat outside. Hot spring is also very nice, many choice of pools.

The room was excellent, with a good amount of space. The front desk upgraded us to a high-floor smart room, which was spotlessly clean. The disposable amenities were a bit basic but covered the essentials, and the toiletries for washing and showering were of good quality. The service was also great; perhaps because of the high temperatures during the day, the hotel even provided herbal tea to every guest, which was very much appreciated! Although this hotel is rated 4-star, I felt it was better than some 5-star hotels in Guangzhou. The breakfast and lunch offerings were both very good, and there's even morning tea available on the top floor. We didn't even need to go out for food during this trip to Guangzhou, as we could enjoy authentic local cuisine right in the hotel. The hotel is wow! They have free transportation from terminals. If you arrived at terminal 2, after passing passport control, go to the second floor to departure hall and find exit 46. The bus from the hotel will pick you up right there, outside the exit. Reception guys are very helpful, they helped with your luggage and anything you need. The room itself is very spacious. The floor in the room is so soft, like a cloud! The bed is very comfortable, pillows just amazing! The bath robe is so soft, double layered, I loved it. All you need you have in a room. Only one thing can be improved, could be nice if there would be face wash and face lotion at least. Overall, very pleasant stopover experience. Would book again for longer stopover to discover hotel’s spa and restaurant.

An experience that exceeded our expectations! As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a doorman greeted us, opened the car door, took our luggage, and escorted us all the way to the hotel elevator. When we checked in, the front desk lady was very kind. We originally booked a river view room, which doesn't have a view of Canton Tower, but she told us that since we were staying for three nights, she upgraded us to a tower view room. We were so pleasantly surprised! The next day was my child's birthday, and she said they would send a cake to our room. She also thoughtfully asked about our travel plans, mentioning that we could contact them anytime for any needs and that they could even provide travel tips. The staff's service attitude was truly heartwarming and considerate! 💖 Although the hotel has been open for over a decade, it's very well-maintained. The overall style is understated luxury, without excessive or gaudy decorations; it's simple and clean. I was particularly impressed by the dark green room doors with their smooth, rich finish and excellent texture. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest room offer expansive views, overlooking the entire Canton Tower. The marble bathroom and soft, skin-friendly bedding – you can tell from many small details that the materials used are exquisite and carefully selected. For the birthday, we booked the Prime Steakhouse on the 100th floor. The table was sprinkled with rose petals, and there was even a 'Happy Birthday' letter sign, making it feel very ceremonial. The restaurant also gave us a red velvet cake, and when we left, they gave us shell-shaped cakes. Back in our room, there was yet another red velvet cake from the hotel! Haha, they are truly thoughtful... A big thank you again to the hotel for their thoughtful and meticulous service, which gave us an unforgettable birthday trip! 💐

It's been a while since I've been back in Guangzhou, and it just so happened to be our anniversary, so we decided to try out a luxury hotel. To be honest, I debated between the Rosewood, Four Seasons, and Mandarin Oriental for quite some time, but after careful consideration, I chose the Rosewood. First off, the Rosewood is located in Guangzhou's tallest building, the CTF Finance Centre, and its guest room floors are generally higher than those of the Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental. While the Four Seasons' room views are widely considered the best, for me, who prioritizes room layout and design, this wasn't as critical. Personally, I subjectively feel that although the Four Seasons' floor-to-ceiling windows and bathroom views are excellent, the interior decor and layout are primarily simple. As an aside, the Four Seasons' public area design concept is quite striking (last picture), and their gift shop products are also quite suitable for souvenirs. Getting back to the Rosewood, its room design emphasizes Lingnan culture, which is evident in every aspect of the room. Our 89-square-meter junior suite, despite its size, felt anything but empty thanks to the layout of traditional cultural ornaments and distinctive furniture (for example, the entryway immediately showcased thoughtful design). This avoided any feeling of being alone in a large space, which is what I personally value most. Even more importantly, the Rosewood's service was impeccable. After I mentioned our anniversary, they thoughtfully prepared a small cake and turndown service in the evening. Coming back after our date, soaking in the tub while eating chocolate completely washed away the afternoon's fatigue. For this, I give the Rosewood full marks.

As someone who rarely leaves reviews, Shangri-La truly deserves a special commendation from me! It's one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. First and foremost, the service was excellent. Not only did they meet reasonable guest requests – for instance, for my birthday they provided a thoughtful and delicious cake – but I also felt genuinely respected by their service-oriented approach. Special shout-out to Lucy, Beryl, and Chloe from Guest Relations! They upgraded me to a river view room this time, and the scenery outside the window was expansive. Stepping into the room immediately felt so refreshing. One major reason I chose Shangri-La was their swimming pool. The indoor pool was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The outdoor pool looked stunning, though unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to experience it this time. How many hotels can boast two pools? The gym was also great, and there's a tennis court that I didn't get to see. From an exercise perspective, I think Shangri-La is truly excellent!

My stay was very pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The room was large, clean, and well-maintained, with good natural light and a beautiful view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was effective, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Both the Executive Lounge and the fourth floor have terraces, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. I must commend the exceptional service from Zoey and Billie at the Executive Lounge; they were attentive throughout my stay, responded quickly to any requests, and paid great attention to every detail.

Returning to Guangzhou after many years, and once again, it's the Ritz-Carlton. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room hygiene was impeccable, and the facilities were very well-maintained. It was a pleasant surprise that, even after so many years, the staff still remembered me – unexpectedly heartwarming. Everything was comfortable; it's an established hotel that always delivers a truly pleasant experience.

The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

Arrived around 11 pm from Renmin station using a Didi, there is a parking lot for the driver to let you off. The staff didn't speak English but she was accommodating and used a translator to ask me about the hotel transfer. There is one an hour and it is a small mini van, it was quick and seamless would stay again.

It's true what they say: no comparison, no harm. My family always used to book Hilton for me, but this time they told me to try something new, so I only booked one core hotel, and it turned out to be a Wyndham. Hilton's quality is consistently good; the Hilton in this area even has more spacious rooms than others, and the service is quite good. However, Wyndham's quality really varies. The Wyndham I stayed at in Qingyuan, Lianzhu, was excellent, but the one in Panyu felt pretty average. Next time, I'll stick with Hilton. It offers great value for money, and while it might not be a high-star hotel, the quality is definitely up to a certain standard, and the breakfast is also quite standard.
