During the Qingming Festival holiday, my wife and I brought our two kids to Guangzhou. We considered many hotels, as we have high standards, and after several days of searching, we finally settled on this well-established local 5-star hotel, which offers incredible value for money. The hotel's location is superb, with free underground parking, making it perfect for those traveling by car. The service standards are very high; the staff are enthusiastic and patient, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The soundproofing in the room was excellent – it was completely quiet at night. Being on a high floor, the view was also great. Often, older hotels have outdated facilities, but this one's rooms are very well-equipped and maintained, and the cleanliness was exceptional. There was no musty smell at all. A significant bonus was that food delivery orders are brought directly to your room by a robot, which was incredibly convenient, and the kids absolutely loved it! Right across from the hotel is Guangzhou East Railway Station, and the F exit of the subway is just 100 meters to the right from the hotel entrance. Directly opposite the hotel is the large shopping mall, Oriental Baotai. There are also 3-4 Luckin Coffee shops nearby, and a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making dining and getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's buffet breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste was excellent. Our stay was absolutely perfect, and we will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guangzhou. It will be our top choice from now on.

This was my second stay here, and they proactively upgraded me to a suite. The bedroom was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view outside. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it's in the bustling Tianhe area, it was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant environment was also nice, with a trendy, 'influencer-esque' vibe. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to Zhengjia Plaza and Taikoo Hui within 10 minutes. They also have family rooms, so I might consider bringing my kids here for a stay during the summer vacation.

The room was great, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made me feel very secure during my business trip. The hygiene was also top-notch. The gym had a lot of equipment and was practically empty, so I had it all to myself. The swimming pool felt very safe with two lifeguards on duty. The service was also fantastic; Vicky was especially attentive. Hilton truly lives up to its reputation as a classic brand, far superior to many other flashy star-rated hotels. I'll definitely choose them again for my next business trip.

Came to Tianhe Sports Center for Xue Zhiqian's concert and did some sightseeing. Booked a deluxe twin room a few days in advance. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the Sports Center. Although the self-service breakfast was busy, the dining order was well-maintained. The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly. My daughter is already looking forward to staying here again next time! 😊

The service staff are helpful and pleasant. The room is also a good size for a family, and the bed is comfortable to sleep in. Though this room type is only available near the lift area, it is generally quiet. The only issue is one of the rooms has a slightly dusty smell from the aircon, and the shower area had a slightly musky smell. Other than that, the stay was good overall.

The best riverside hotel in Guangzhou, I always stay at Sofitel whenever I'm in the city. The rooms are amazing, primarily decorated in red. I highly recommend choosing a river view room as you can see the Canton Tower, and the night view is spectacular. The breakfast selection is also incredibly diverse, with a full range of Cantonese dim sum available.

My experience at the hotel started off on a bad note right from the moment I arrived. Firstly, my luggage was in the trunk, and I was struggling to get it out by myself. A hotel staff member was standing right next to me, holding someone else's bags, just waiting – he didn't offer to help me at all. While I was still struggling with my luggage, the staff member told me not to close the car trunk. I didn't quite understand him at first, so I closed it as usual. He then actually made a 'tsk' sound in annoyance. Apparently, the reason he was just standing there waiting was because the guests whose luggage he was holding had booked the same car I was getting out of, and he had intended to put their bags straight in. But because I closed the door, he had to open it again, which clearly irritated him. Then, in the lobby, I was focused on filling out some paperwork with my head down and inadvertently walked to the side. The manager politely informed me that I needed to join the queue, which I completely understood. However, he spoke to me while I was concentrating, startling me, which caused the document I was on the verge of finishing to be lost, and I had to start all over again. Finally, the front desk staff had a good attitude. But even though I arrived at nearly 1 PM on a Monday, a weekday, the hotel had no rooms available for check-in. I understand I was an hour earlier than the official check-in time, but I've stayed at so many hotels before – The Ritz-Carlton, Niccolo, Hyatt, Hilton – and I've never encountered a situation on a weekday at this time where there were no rooms available. It completely disrupted my plans; my phone and laptop were both dead, and I had to wait in the lobby, which was very disappointing. While I was sitting on the sofa in the lobby, a man even asked me for food. I was genuinely shocked that someone like that could gain entry to the main lobby. To add to that: On my first night, I discovered that the electric blind in the bathroom for the bathtub was broken and could only be pulled down partway. I was too tired to bother fixing it and just wanted to sleep when suddenly the faucet started dripping… The next morning, when I went to blow-dry my hair in the bathroom, the outlet had no power, so I couldn't use the hairdryer either…

This hotel is really close to my company in Guangzhou, so I've been staying here a lot recently. I really like the unique corridor design, and the breakfast is great – a good variety and quite filling. A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 11th floor on the 28th. She found my ID card holder that I'd lost in the hallway and returned it to me. While it wasn't valuable, it saved me a lot of hassle! It immediately made me feel a real connection to the hotel.

This isn't my first time staying here. This time, I suddenly decided to bring my child along, so I used a package I'd bought previously. The package was quite good value, though the king room felt a bit small for a family. The Kapok Suite I stayed in before was much more suitable, large, and comfortable. It would be great if the packages offered more options. This particular package didn't include a breakfast buffet. I find that Garden Hotel's buffet breakfast has more Western options (perhaps catering to the many foreign guests here), which I'm not used to 🤦‍♂️. I prefer Chinese food, so we usually opt to eat breakfast at nearby places. There are numerous dim sum restaurants within walking distance, like Lei Garden, Guangzhou Restaurant, and Tao Tao Ju – plenty of choices to suit any budget. Hotel service is, as always, impeccable (^-^)o🍴. The service was very attentive and prompt. Traveling with a child, we received a lot of kindness. It’s a great hotel for families with kids in the city center. Even if you don't go out, there’s enough to keep the kids entertained within the hotel. As a long-established hotel, the facade and lobby are grand and exude a luxurious atmosphere from a period of economic prosperity, haha 😄. Some of the room furniture is a bit older, but it’s well-maintained, and the wooden antique furniture still has a certain charm. This package included two buffet dinners at Ling Xuan Pavilion. The restaurant rotates, which is quite interesting. The food itself was just okay, nothing particularly noteworthy. There wasn't much selection for raw sashimi, but the cakes were quite good, so it was acceptable. Mainly, the ambiance and service were good. On a side note, the hotel has many elevators, and they respond quickly. As expected, food delivery isn't allowed up to the rooms; you have to pick it up from the delivery locker downstairs.

This hotel is located in the Tianhe business district, making it an excellent choice for business travelers and ideal for leisure guests too. It's not far from attractions like Zhengjia Plaza and Canton Tower, with a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes. Just around the corner from the hotel is Guangzhou Restaurant, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find a street full of eateries. The only downside is that the hotel entrance is tucked away in an alley, so taxis and cars can't drive right up to the door; you'll need to walk a short distance with your luggage. The breakfast tasted good, though a bit simple. While the selection was limited, it was very delicious. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a stylish and comfortable design, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The hotel also offers a complimentary fitness center and self-service laundry room. Upon check-in, I participated in the hotel's ”Breathe with Earth” activity and each person received a gift! 😄

I chose the veteran Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel because of its bustling commercial surroundings and convenient transportation. It's just a short bus ride to Guangzhou Wanguo Outlets, and other attractions are also easily accessible! I highly recommend trying the food at Da Ge Restaurant when you're in Guangzhou. Coincidentally, I visited on March 8th, and the hotel even warmly presented me with a rose! This is a well-established five-star hotel in a bustling area, offering excellent service, quality, and atmosphere. Its prime location is a major plus, with various bus lines and Metro Line 2 right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Yesterday morning, for instance, it only took 20 minutes and four metro stops from the hotel to Haizhu Square (Exit F) to catch the Guangzhou-Huizhou bus, making the trip to Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou super easy. The hotel's food street also has good quality options; I recommend the intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Noodles. On the first floor, there are several coffee shops, dessert places, and fast food joints that are convenient and affordable. The sky garden and swimming pool on the fourth floor offer a pleasant environment and are definitely worth checking out.

Service: The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded us to the main building, which was fantastic! The staff member with ID 8300 was very enthusiastic and attentive. Plenty of water, towels, and bathrobes were supplied, and requests were handled promptly. The service was the absolute best part! Hygiene: The bedding was clean, hygienic, and comfortable. Towels and bathrobes were clean. Facilities: There are team-building activities near the hotel. The public hot spring area was ordinary, neither good nor bad. The room can accommodate four people, but the hot spring tub in the room couldn't fit four; two adults and one child could barely take turns soaking. Both the hotel's breakfast and dinner were very good, and having a place to hang clothes was a thoughtful touch. Summary: The highlights were the service, dining, hygiene, and pure hot spring water.

Dusit Thani Hot Springs Resort A Thai-style hot spring hotel with a good amount of space. Its more than 100 small villas are built along the hillside, following the terrain. Guests can get around the hotel using golf carts, and staff proactively help with luggage. It has that laid-back Southeast Asian resort vibe. Each small villa has its own hot spring tub in the courtyard, so you can fill it up and soak whenever you want, which is much more pleasant than public hot springs. It's also great for photos. The in-room mini-bar drinks are free, and they even gave a complimentary small bottle of wine. The toiletries are L'Occitane. Aside from other issues, the natural environment and service are excellent. However, the rooms are really showing their age and haven't been well-maintained. The curtains are difficult to draw, and some tiles are broken and haven't been repaired. The washbasin area design isn't very practical and is inconvenient to use. The hairdryer quality is quite poor and not very effective. The public hot spring area experience also wasn't great; there are too few signs, and the dim lighting is quite disappointing. It's easy to trip in the dark, which is quite dangerous. Breakfast is quite varied, with fresh ingredients for made-to-order noodles, wontons, and excellent toppings like beef offal, radish, and preserved vegetables with minced pork. The freshly made rice noodle rolls had a skin that was too thick and not much meat. The preserved egg and lean pork congee had plenty of preserved egg and meat slices, and the seasoning was good.

We took our kids for a spring outing to Shimen National Forest Park and then drove to Bishuiwan Hot Spring Resort for an overnight stay. Overall, it was a great experience. Although it's an older hotel with a decor that shows its age, it's very well maintained, and our room didn't disappoint. The view from the balcony after opening the glass door was also very pleasant, perfect for enjoying tea, relaxing, and contemplating life. I imagine it would be even more stunning in autumn when the trees on the opposite hillside are ablaze with different colored leaves. The hotel's service was incredibly warm; everyone from the front desk to the tea bar and the floor staff was friendly and polite. The hot spring staff were also very enthusiastic and service-oriented, quickly providing anything we needed. I also want to mention the German Beer Plaza; the grilled fish was huge and delicious (even though I usually can't handle too much spice, I still found it very flavorful). I suspect it's a variety of bighead carp from the Liuxi River. It's definitely more suitable for adults, and kids should be careful as it has a lot of bones. In the evening, the staff thoughtfully delivered extra bottled water and even proactively offered a late check-out, as if they were worried we wouldn't have enough time for another hot spring dip the next day. They even gave us a small gift when we left, which made the kids very happy. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip. We'll definitely be back for a second and third visit when the flowers bloom in Shimen and when the autumn leaves turn yellow. Thanks for the hospitality, hope to see you again soon.

This time, the experience at Conghua Zhuosidao Hot Spring Resort Hotel really made me want to recommend it like crazy! Originally, I booked a parent-child room, but as soon as I arrived at the front desk, Xiao Zhu enthusiastically helped us upgrade the room for free! I instantly felt like I had won the prize. The room was 40 square meters larger than before, and outside the balcony was the green mountain view and hot spring view. This wave of operations directly maximized the vacation experience! Room: The upgraded room space is super large! The room design is simple Chinese style, with toy dolls, full floor-to-ceiling windows and landscape balconies. Opposite is the mountain forest. In the morning, you can hear birds singing when you open the window. It feels like living in a natural oxygen bar. Hot Spring: The room is large, with 2 large and 1 small, and unlimited outdoor hot springs. You don’t want to get up. The public hot spring area has 32 pools, rose pools, rafting pools, sauna rooms... I want to try each one! Parents with children don’t have to worry at all. The children’s water park and infinity pool are enough for children to play all day. Xiao Zhu also kindly reminded us that the hot spring area closes at 10 pm, so don't get carried away in the hot springs haha~ Food and Drink: Breakfast can get full marks The buffet breakfast has many varieties, and the freshly cooked shredded pork noodles, sausages, and porridge are all very authentic, and the coffee is freshly ground! Afternoon tea includes: lemon tea, desserts, and Starbucks coffee. There are free fruits in the room at night, and it is super satisfying to eat an apple after the hot springs. Service: Detail control ecstasy In addition to the room upgrade, the hotel service is really considerate to the bones. You can tell what you need and it can basically be met! The open-air parking lot is also equipped with charging piles, which is very friendly to new energy vehicle owners. When checking out, Xiao Zhu also recommended the nearby Liuxi River Forest Park, saying that you can try the villa room type next time you come, and it must be super suitable to bring your parents. In short, from the environment to the service, there is nothing wrong, especially the ”hidden benefits” of Xiao Zhu at the front desk, which directly upgraded this short trip to VIP treatment! Next time, I must bring my family to experience the mountain spring villa. It is said that the private pool in the yard is even more amazing~

Poor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary. 1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos. 2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default. 3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant. 4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus. 5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.

The hotel's location to Beijing pedestrian street is absolutely superb, entrance is at the side street with one lift going up and down, at busy times it can take a little longer. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with freshly made noodles on demand and a wide variety of others. Our second time stay two year in a row whenever we are in GZ. Will definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door.

This time in Guangzhou, I specifically chose the Pullman hotel, and what I was most satisfied with was its location and convenient transportation! 📍 **Excellent Location, Super Convenient for Boarding**: The hotel's location is very easy to find, whether coming from the city center or going to the airport, it's particularly smooth. If you're on a business trip or catching an early flight, this is definitely the top choice! A taxi to the airport gets you there quickly, and the hotel also offers **thoughtful shuttle service**, which is punctual and hassle-free. You don't have to worry about traffic jams causing you to miss your flight, which I really loved! 🚗 **Thoughtful Shuttle Service**: Besides the convenient airport access, the hotel's shuttle service to and from the terminal is very punctual. The driver's skills are excellent, and they proactively help with luggage, which deserves a thumbs-up. 💁 **Warm and Efficient Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in. Seeing I had a lot of luggage, they proactively explained the route to the airport and the shuttle times, very patiently and meticulously, which made me feel very welcome. 🍳 **Good Restaurant Offerings**: The breakfast selection is quite rich. Eating a full meal before heading out makes you feel energized! The restaurant environment is also very clean. 🛏️ **Comfortable and Quiet Environment**: Although the transportation is convenient, the room is very quiet, with good soundproofing, and the bedding is comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. In summary, if you value convenient transportation, especially needing easy access to the airport for boarding, choosing Pullman is the right decision!

This was an absolutely unforgettable and flawless stay! Every single staff member demonstrated top-tier hospitality and incredible warmth, making me feel completely at home from the very beginning. A massive thank you to Icy and Sherry at the Front Desk. They attentively listened to my preferences and swiftly arranged a seamless room change. The upgraded room was not only wonderfully spacious but also featured absolutely breathtaking panoramic views. Staying there was a pure delight! The wellness experience was definitely another major highlight of the trip. I am so grateful to Hannah at the Spa; her genuine and engaging introduction is exactly what convinced me to treat myself to a spa session. I also want to thank Karina for her incredibly detailed walkthrough of the fully equipped gym and steam room, which made me feel completely comfortable enjoying the facilities. Furthermore, my therapist, Abby, was exceptionally professional—her expert techniques provided deep healing and total relaxation during the treatment. The evening at the Bar was equally impeccable! A special shout-out to Lawrence, who went out of his way to secure a fantastic seat and handle my booking perfectly. He paid close attention to my needs and was a brilliant conversationalist, which allowed me to thoroughly enjoy a deeply relaxing and delightful time at the bar. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. It is a rare, ultra-attentive, and truly immersive luxury experience. I will undoubtedly be returning on my next visit to Guangzhou!

This hotel's core advantage is its prime location atop the 530-meter East Tower, with the lobby and rooms starting from the 95th floor, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Canton Tower and Pearl River. It's truly considered the pinnacle of high-rise hotels in Guangzhou. Key Highlights: * **Exceptional Service:** The personal butler proactively adds you on WeChat, special occasions like anniversaries are celebrated with complimentary cakes and turndown service, and they remember guests' dietary preferences – these thoughtful touches are a real highlight. * **Hardware & Design:** Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel boasts exquisite artistic taste. Le Labo toiletries and Dyson hairdryers are standard amenities. * **Diverse Dining:** Features a variety of unique dining spaces, including Hei Jin Yi (Japanese cuisine on the 107th floor), Chi Zui (craft beer bar on the 6th floor), and Guang Yu Xuan (Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine). My top choice for business trips!

Service: Every staff member at the hotel provided excellent service. The doorman at the entrance always helped open the car door, clearly showing professional training. Cleanliness: Everything looked quite clean. However, despite the hotel's breakfast being very rich, I ended up with severe food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea), which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel's food quality. 😡 Environment: The environment was generally good. The lobby and corridors were decorated with many beautiful orchid displays. Some rooms offered views of the Pearl River, and there was a garden downstairs for walks. Facilities: The facilities were mediocre. For a room costing over 1000 yuan, only the bed was comfortable. The toilet wasn't smart, and the overall feel was a bit dated. I increasingly feel that so-called five-star hotels don't always offer better amenities than mid-to-high-end hotels. This price point seems to be purely for brand premium and is not worth recommending.

This package booked through Ctrip was particularly satisfying, thank you Ctrip and thank you Langham Hotel! 🌹 When I checked in yesterday afternoon, I requested to switch from a king-size bed room to a twin room. Since it was the Qingming Festival holiday, there were many guests, and twin rooms were already fully booked. Ady at the front desk was very thoughtful and upgraded me to a suite, which also faced south. I could perfectly see the red Xingguang Bridge and the Guangdong Science Center in the university town – absolutely delightful! The room even had two bathrooms, which was incredibly convenient for two people. The next morning, I used the swimming pool and changing rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to the usual sauna and steam room, there was also a hot spring bath, which was incredibly relaxing. They also thoughtfully provided a swimsuit spinner and disposable bags for wet clothes. The swimming pool itself was spacious and the water was very clean, clearly well-maintained. The bedroom had a Bluetooth speaker, which easily connected to my phone to play music. Even though the hotel opened in 2013, making it 13 years old now, and doesn't have all the flashy features of newly built hotels, the years of meticulous service really shine through, offering just the right amount of thoughtful care. From the hotel, you can walk to the Exhibition Center and take the sightseeing tram to Nanfeng Station, where the Tencent building is located. This is the best spot to watch the sunset. One more stop further is Party Pier (Pa Di), which has many options for drinks and dinner.

Guangzhou's top-tier hotel cluster is probably one of the most concentrated among first-tier cities in China, featuring the likes of the Four Seasons, Rosewood, Park Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, and Jumeirah. In terms of location, they're all pretty much the same, and prices are comparable. I actually find the Ritz, with its non-sky lobby, more convenient. However, the Ritz's service level is leaps and bounds ahead of the others. They seem to have a much more generous staff allocation than those other hotels. Combined with their strict adherence to standards, both warmth and efficiency are guaranteed. Even when returning to the hotel at night, there are dedicated security personnel at the elevator entrance. It often feels like there are more Ritz-uniformed service staff in the lobby than guests, and they consistently proactively approach you to ask if you need anything. The human touch is truly exceptional. Thumbs up!👍

The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

Good review for Jinli Hotel (Guangzhou East Railway Station Branch). It was very busy at night, and there was only one person, so checking in was quite inconvenient. This could be improved. My stay at Jinli Hotel this time exceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, right near Guangzhou East Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away, making travel incredibly convenient. It's also very friendly for self-drivers, with free and ample parking, and smooth entry and exit. The rooms and public areas were very clean, and the facilities were well-maintained, with no strange odors or stains. The bedding and bathroom facilities were quite new, making for a reassuring stay. The only minor regret is that the mattress was a bit firm; those used to softer beds might need some time to adjust. The front desk service was enthusiastic and efficient, and they responded promptly. It offers great value for money, suitable for business trips and transit stays. Highly recommended for those driving or catching a train!
