We stayed in Superior Room (2 Beds) (Room 1222), 3-4 May 2025 as I and my friend attended the phase 3 of Canton Fair. The check-in was efficient, front desk speaks good English. I was impressed by the efficiency of the check-in process, the warm welcome from the front desk staff. The lobby was clean. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable. They have provided bottled water, tea and coffee. The toilet is clean, toiletries were provided. The towels and bathrobes were clean. They have free shuttle bus to/from Canton Fair. During our stay, they provided a cocktail event for all the Canton Fair guests, with raffle prizes. The hotel's location was also ideal for my needs, just next to Guangzhou East Railway Station. Will check-in in this hotel again.

Good spread and high quality food for breakfast, clean room with no cigarette smell, comfortable bed and lovely furnishings on the room. Our room came with lounge access which also provides a nice view of the vicinity and simple but sufficient spread for tea. Our free airport transfer was upgraded by the hotel and that gave us a comfortable ride to the airport.

Traveling to Guangdong for a business trip with my colleagues, we checked in on the only sunny day amidst several days of heavy rain. The front desk staff thoughtfully arranged a stadium-view room with a great view and even gave us a bag of fruit. The pleasant weather, comfortable room, and friendly service left us with an absolutely wonderful impression of Guangzhou. Our first stay at Mercure was fantastic.

Had a comfortable stay and took some great photos! The gym and pool on the 7th floor were fantastic and free to use – definitely made this trip worthwhile ✨. Every detail at this hotel offers a sense of healing. Without a luxurious backdrop, the hotel uses its thoughtful details to be a light on your journey. No perfunctory service, no compromises, just a little sun on your travels ☀️. Had a wonderful time at Sofitel, and Mia at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful during my check-out.

I chose to stay at the Sheraton Guangzhou again. My flight arrived late at night, and I checked in well past midnight. I contacted the hotel in advance to reserve a room, and they gave me the high-floor room I prefer! Although Guangzhou has been quite hot these past few days, the air conditioning in the hotel was too cold. I had to call housekeeping again at night to ask for an extra blanket, and they brought it very quickly! I really have to commend the customer service staff; whether it was day or night, they were able to quickly resolve any requests and were always incredibly enthusiastic and polite! The hotel room was spacious and bright, the shower had great water pressure, and the toiletries were good too! The executive lounge only has a two-hour happy hour for dinner; otherwise, it only offers soft drinks. The dinner at the executive lounge was quite good, with delicious dishes and desserts! For breakfast, I chose the buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor. Since it was Chinese New Year and there were many guests, the breakfast area was very crowded, and everyone had to queue for a table. Luckily, the food selection was rich and of good quality. I highly recommend the wonton noodles; they taste fantastic! There's a wide variety of teas for breakfast, including red date and goji berry tea, red date and ginger tea, Hong Kong-style milk tea, floral tea, black tea, green tea, etc., all of which are good. Plus, you can take coffee and tea to go from the breakfast restaurant, which is a real bonus! The hotel's location is excellent, right near Tee Mall and Grandview Mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient! And since it's in the city center, getting anywhere is easy! Check-in and check-out at the front desk were both quick and efficient! I'll definitely stay here again!

Noting the traffic is quite bad so taking a Didi everywhere. Overall nice hotel for a family with kids but just the location is out of the way for us.

The check-in process was smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The room itself was spacious, well-furnished, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay – including fast Wi-Fi, a cozy bed, and a clean, modern bathroom. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and the room always felt fresh and tidy. The hotel’s location was also perfect – close everything yet quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, including vegetarian and healthy choices. Overall, my stay at Baiyun hotel exceeded expectations. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel and the location are outstanding. Just a remark about the buffet at night and the breakfast, the food is too local for this kind of hotel rate. for that night price (1200+ RMB), I would appreciate a more ”fresh” night buffet” and a more balanced ” asian / foreigner breakfast”. coffee is good, juice is processed, asian food is like an average buffet, foreigner side has just basic bread. If you're looking to stay in this very nice hotel, just eat outside. Hot spring is also very nice, many choice of pools.

Poor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary. 1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos. 2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default. 3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant. 4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus. 5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.

They have a self-service laundry room, gym, and swimming pool, all fully equipped. The staff's attitude was impeccable; they proactively helped with luggage, everyone we met greeted us, and they were always ready to assist with any request. I'm absolutely smitten with the Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Hotel after my layover there! First off, I have to rave about the service! My entire experience was fantastic, from check-in to check-out, everything was so smooth and hassle-free. The front desk staff and the shuttle drivers were all incredibly thoughtful, genuinely attentive, not just going through the motions. The hotel's welcome ambassador even contacted me before I arrived to get my flight details, ensuring I could check in immediately upon arrival instead of waiting for room cleaning – a huge thumbs-up for that! The location is just perfect, right next to the airport. The shuttle gets you to the terminal in just a few minutes, which is a lifesaver for transit passengers like me. No need to rush or worry about missing my flight. The room also exceeded my expectations; it was so clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. What I was most looking forward to with this room type was the bathtub facing the Canton Tower. I checked in at 9 PM on the day, and the front desk offered a bubble bath, which I declined. Now, I'm glad I did, as the bathtub wasn't clean and had hair in it. The welcome fruit was three oranges (?). Waiting for a table at breakfast is understandable, but my repeated requests for a window seat were ignored. At first, they said they'd move us once a window table was ready, but after several tables turned over, no one ever came back to tell us we could switch.

When I called again, someone who spoke English picked up but hung up shortly after. Because of this, I booked a Didi to the hotel, which cost around 40 RMB including the airport parking fee. When I arrived, the first thing I did was arrange the free shuttle for my departure the next morning. The room itself is clean, and the location is convenient. However, I noticed a wet area near the toilet, which could be improved.

Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|1.52km from downtown
The location is definitely its biggest advantage; you can walk to Guangzhou East Station, which is incredibly convenient for catching trains. No need for taxis or detours, making it particularly friendly for transit travelers. The basic room amenities are sufficient, but the hygiene was only so-so, with dust in some corners indicating a lack of detailed cleaning. The facilities overall are a bit dated, with some aging furniture and bathroom fixtures, leading to an average experience. The bedding was reasonably comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. Service was standard, nothing special. This hotel is best suited for travelers who prioritize convenience above all else and don't have high expectations for accommodation quality. The value for money is just average.

Arrived around 11 pm from Renmin station using a Didi, there is a parking lot for the driver to let you off. The staff didn't speak English but she was accommodating and used a translator to ask me about the hotel transfer. There is one an hour and it is a small mini van, it was quick and seamless would stay again.

Pazhou International Exhibition Center Area Guangzhou|9.33km from downtown
This is my fourth time staying here, and this time I brought my family. They wanted to visit Guangzhou, experience a 'reverse' ***** New Year, and soak in the Lingnan region's festive atmosphere. Our main goal was Chimelong, but hotels near Chimelong are incredibly expensive per night. Plus, I didn't want to put them in a place with a bad environment. Since I'd already stayed here three times and consider myself a regular, and the price for a night here was still cheaper than any hotel near Chimelong, I chose to stay here again. My family was very satisfied and loved the room's decor and the living environment. The best part is the magnificent Pearl River view, and it's super convenient to get around by subway. What's more, the staff's character and service are consistently excellent. Chatting with them in Cantonese feels very welcoming, and the breakfast offers everything you could want. It's truly a cool and fantastic accommodation experience! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance. Finally, I wish the hotel continued prosperity, thriving business, and a blossoming future! 👏👍🤝🌹
