The newly renovated room type has excellent hardware. We took our child to the high-speed rail for a study tour, and it's super convenient, only a 2-3 minute walk from the East Station. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer a wide variety of dishes, and the taste is decent. Anmi Peng, the lady at the front desk, was enthusiastic and professional; she even helped us switch to a king-size room with a better view.

Our whole family had a wonderful time visiting Guangzhou, and we're so glad we chose the Westin Guangzhou Hotel 🏨 It's within walking distance of Guangzhou East Railway Station, and there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful. It was my first time receiving a handwritten note, and it truly touched my heart and made me feel so warm. Facilities: The room was very spacious, and all the amenities were great 👍 The breakfast selection and quality were both excellent.

Oakwood Premier is extremely convenient - just one metro station ride on Line 1 from Guangzhou East rail station, and <10 mins walk from Exit A. The check in, restaurant and housekeeping staff members are courteous and responsive to our needs - extra towels, restaurant bookings etc. It is a welcoming change from other hotel chains in other countries which we experienced lately. The room is clean and spacious. There is however too many furniture (probably due to accommodating long term guests who need plenty of storage). Less furniture would be ideal with more walking space and effective opening of doors, eg bedroom door, if open, will block access to the wardrobe door. The breakfast buffet spread is sufficient - Chinese and western dishes. The dining room is huge, bright and spacious with large windows. The F&B knowledge could be improved though eg having available the appropriate condiments with the buffet items (calamari rings, delicious but no dips to go with), fresh waffle with no maple syrup (just 4 different fruit jams and 1 peanut butter options), crispy bacon (but not cripsy in reality), Chinese dim sum (with no chili oil/sauce, vinegar etc) at lukewarm temperature (the steaming switch was deliberately kept at OFF though I switched it to ON several times.) We will be back though. The value is in the location, clean and spacious room. Not the food.

Service: The staff service is excellent, especially our butler Yulia this stay. She was very thoughtful, anticipated our needs, and even helped us get a free room upgrade. The concierge on the first floor proactively helped with our luggage upon arrival. Check-in on the 5th-floor lobby was quick and smooth; Marriott's service awareness is quite good. The pool's hydro-massage was excellent for relieving a day's travel fatigue. The location is unbeatable, right next to Zhengjia Plaza, a perfect spot for kids and all your dining needs.

I highly recommend the Mercure Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Centre! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful; they proactively upgraded our room for free and even extended our check-out time. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, providing excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the same category. Our room had a fantastic floor-to-ceiling window with a direct view of the Tianhe Sports Center. The hotel's location is superb, making transportation very convenient. Overall, my stay was extremely satisfying, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

I first stayed at Sofitel last July during my initial visit to Guangzhou. A year later, I'm back again, and let me cut to the chase: its value for money in Guangzhou is virtually unmatched. Stepping into Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich again after a year, the overall vibe is distinctly different from Mandarin Oriental, Ritz-Carlton, or Park Hyatt. As you enter the lobby, French vintage carvings blend seamlessly with Lingnan rosewood furnishings, and you'll spot gilded vine patterns everywhere. Paired with Sofitel's signature rose fragrance, it perfectly merges French light luxury elegance with local Lingnan heritage. The decor is soft yet grand, understated but inherently sophisticated. Upon learning it was my return visit after a year, they thoughtfully upgraded me to a high-floor city view room for free. I really have to commend the staff member, Dion. Even though Sofitel isn't a top-tier luxury hotel with 'personal butlers,' Dion acted just like one throughout my stay – always responsive, accommodating, efficient, and incredibly friendly. They treated me with such respect, making me feel incredibly comfortable 🥰. Entering the room, I was met with a strong sense of old-money aesthetics from an era of economic boom. The room also offered a beautiful view of Canton Tower, which I loved. I'm a big fan of Sofitel's fragrance (be it Guiyang, Changzhou, Haikou, Foshan, etc.); they all hit just the right note for me, maintaining regional distinctiveness within a similar scent profile. The hotel's standard Lanvin toiletries further highlight the meticulous service and premium amenities, which at this price point, make it an incredibly high-value stay. Now, after discussing the brilliant advantages, let me mention two minor drawbacks. Firstly, the speaker isn't smart enough and lacks Bluetooth connectivity. Secondly, due to the recent frequent rain in Guangzhou, the outdoor view wasn't particularly good, but that's a seasonal issue. These minor flaws didn't detract from my overall stay experience; they weren't critical issues. All in all, returning to Sofitel Sunrich after a year, both the hotel's unique blend of Chinese and French design and the concierge's attentive service remained exceptionally high standard. It definitely surpasses other five-star hotels at a similar price point and even rivals luxury hotels in some aspects. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Guangzhou 🥰.

Huge thanks to Miss Fang at the front desk for upgrading us from a standard king room to an executive king room! We got a high floor on the 29th, which was much larger and quieter. The room itself was spacious, and all the facilities looked well-maintained, showing no signs of age, everything was excellent. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this is the first time I've been captivated by a lobby's blue inverted-triangle chandelier – it immediately caught my eye the moment I walked in. It's so different from the crystal chandeliers you see in many high-end hotels, truly unique. The lobby's aroma was also very pleasant. The room had excellent soundproofing and a grand design. The high-thread-count bedding felt like sleeping on clouds, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable – a lifesaver for someone like me with back problems. The hotel also has a pool and a gym, but I was pressed for time this trip and couldn't experience them. What left the deepest impression on me was the freshly cooked noodle station at breakfast; the chef enthusiastically recommended the day's specials. This kind of thoughtful service, treating guests like family, is true luxury. The hotel's parking spaces are also ample, so even new drivers won't have any issues. I'll definitely choose the Eastin Hotel again for my next business trip to Guangzhou.

I specifically chose to stay at the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou this time and experienced the full package: guest room, executive lounge, CAN guided tour, and breakfast at the Revolving Restaurant. It truly gave me a taste of what the pinnacle of hotel service in Guangzhou is like. The entire stay was comfortable and reassuring, with no unpleasant surprises, and every aspect exceeded my expectations with its generosity and thoughtfulness. Upon checking in, I had booked a basic room. I paid 20 RMB at the 'Seafood Market' (referring to a loyalty program sign-up) to get a Lingkehui Gold Card. After calling staff beforehand to link my information, I was informed I could get a free upgrade to a Kapok Suite and also receive a welcome fruit platter. It was straightforward and generous, immediately dispelling any concerns I had about formulaic service from an old-established hotel. The upgraded room was spacious, featuring a warm and elegant Lingnan-style wooden design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all toiletries were well-stocked. On the first night, I discovered the air conditioner was leaking. After calling service, a staff member arrived within five minutes, promptly fixed the issue, and maintained a polite attitude throughout. Afterwards, the floor supervisor even called to apologize and offered a souvenir. Their immediate response to issues, without shirking responsibility or delaying, and their impressive efficiency were remarkable. The executive lounge on the 4th floor was a major highlight of this trip. During afternoon tea, pastries were continuously replenished, with a limitless supply of various savory and sweet treats. It was quiet and not crowded, perfect for a break and a chat. In the evening, happy hour offered samosas, cold cuts, creamy pasta, and small portions of hot dishes. Although it got a bit noisy during peak hours, staff were always diligent in clearing tables promptly, showing great efficiency and professionalism. The waitresses could even mix 'Cuba Libre' and 'Gin and Tonic,' and I could ask them to prepare drinks. The hotel's exclusive CAN guided tour was a unique experience. The guide led us through the gold foil murals in the lobby, the central courtyard waterfall, and the art collection, meticulously explaining the hotel's forty-plus-year history and the clever touches of Lingnan design. From the golden dragons on the ceiling to the red bridge in the courtyard, every detail had a story. The guide was patient and thorough throughout the explanation, actively stopping for guests to take photos and recommending lesser-known spots within the hotel. The tour was unhurried, and any questions were answered in detail, allowing for a deep understanding of this garden hotel hidden in the city center. The next morning, I went to the Revolving Restaurant on the 30th floor for a buffet breakfast. The 360-degree slowly rotating view offered panoramic cityscapes, with the Canton Tower visible in the distance. The food balanced Cantonese flavors with international cuisine; the freshly steamed shrimp dumplings and Jidi porridge were authentic and delicious, while Western omelets, cold cuts, fresh fruit, and baked goods were all well-stocked. Staff constantly cleared empty plates and proactively refilled drinks, and there was no long wait for window seats, creating a relaxed and pleasant dining atmosphere. From the front desk and room maintenance to executive lounge service, the CAN tour guide, and restaurant staff, everyone I encountered maintained a consistently gentle and polite demeanor. Two things impressed me the most: first, their zero-delay approach to problem-solving, responding swiftly to requests and resolving issues properly; and second, the genuine and generous room upgrade, given without upselling or conditions, purely offering tangible benefits to guests. As a platinum five-star hotel with many years of deep roots in Guangzhou, the Garden Hotel doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks. It earns its reputation through tangible details, efficient service, and generous hospitality. Whether for a short getaway or an extended stay in the city, it provides a stable and comfortable experience. This thoughtfulness and meticulousness truly make it a benchmark for hotel service in Guangzhou. I will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

This veteran five-star hotel has newly renovated rooms that are clean and hygienic, with comfortable twin beds. The service is friendly, from the front desk staff to the security guards and cleaning aunties, everyone greets you warmly. The location is excellent, with a side entrance directly connecting to Yuexiu Park Station on Metro Line 2. Yuexiu Park itself is right across from the hotel. We booked a 2-night package on Ctrip for 1000 RMB, which was incredible value for money. The front desk even extended all executive benefits to my Lingnan Gold Card membership. (Just a quick complaint here: a certain loyalty program member card offered no benefits when booking through Ctrip.) For food, I highly recommend the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel; many local regulars frequent it, and their intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Wonton Noodles are incredibly fresh and delicious. The only downside is that I missed out on the 138 RMB group purchase fish hotpot; they said it requires advance booking and is only available for dinner, so I'll have to save that for my next visit.

What I loved most about my stay at the Dusit Thani Hot Springs Resort Conghua was its garden landscape and overall ambiance. Even though it's summer and everything around Guangzhou is scorching, I still felt a refreshing breeze when taking the buggy through the hotel's shaded pathways back to my room. The tree cover is excellent, and the journey itself was incredibly relaxing. I stayed in the Premier Villa, which is perched high up, offering a comfortable view overlooking the gardens and mountains below. My favorite part was soaking in the private hot spring in the courtyard. Dipping in the hot spring while a mountain breeze blew, the combination of warmth and cool air was incredibly delightful. One practical detail about the Premier Villa: in addition to the main entrance, the shower room corridor and the glass door of the shower room also connect back to the main living area. It's best to check that all these doors can be opened upon check-in, especially before using the hot spring. This way, if the main door accidentally closes, you can still access the room from the other two entrances. The butler, Mia, also provided exceptional service this time. She understood my needs in advance of my arrival, and the room was already stocked with drinks and fruit, plus a complimentary bottle of plum wine. Her service was thoughtful and professional throughout, making this hot spring villa trip even more relaxing. Overall, Dusit Thani is perfect for a quiet hot spring soak, enjoying the breeze, and just unwinding. It's a very comfortable hot spring getaway near Guangzhou.

The hotel and the location are outstanding. Just a remark about the buffet at night and the breakfast, the food is too local for this kind of hotel rate. for that night price (1200+ RMB), I would appreciate a more ”fresh” night buffet” and a more balanced ” asian / foreigner breakfast”. coffee is good, juice is processed, asian food is like an average buffet, foreigner side has just basic bread. The environment is clean and tidy, and the higher floors offer great light and views. The subway entrance is right downstairs, and there are many shopping malls opposite, like Grandview Mall and Parc Central. The butler service was excellent; any issues with laundry or the room were promptly addressed. I had a very pleasant trip.

The room was excellent, with a good amount of space. The front desk upgraded us to a high-floor smart room, which was spotlessly clean. The disposable amenities were a bit basic but covered the essentials, and the toiletries for washing and showering were of good quality. The service was also great; perhaps because of the high temperatures during the day, the hotel even provided herbal tea to every guest, which was very much appreciated! Although this hotel is rated 4-star, I felt it was better than some 5-star hotels in Guangzhou. The breakfast and lunch offerings were both very good, and there's even morning tea available on the top floor. We didn't even need to go out for food during this trip to Guangzhou, as we could enjoy authentic local cuisine right in the hotel. It offered incredible value for money and was a really fantastic experience.

The hotel is wow! They have free transportation from terminals. If you arrived at terminal 2, after passing passport control, go to the second floor to departure hall and find exit 46. The bus from the hotel will pick you up right there, outside the exit. Reception guys are very helpful, they helped with your luggage and anything you need. The room itself is very spacious. The floor in the room is so soft, like a cloud! The bed is very comfortable, pillows just amazing! The bath robe is so soft, double layered, I loved it. All you need you have in a room. Only one thing can be improved, could be nice if there would be face wash and face lotion at least. Overall, very pleasant stopover experience. Would book again for longer stopover to discover hotel’s spa and restaurant.

We chose the Guangzhou Four Seasons for our anniversary. It's been a while since we last visited, and it's even more beautiful after the renovation. They called beforehand to ask about our check-in needs, and the room was a wonderful surprise! They said it was just a simple setup, but they also gave us chocolates and red wine. A huge thank you to Claire, Emily, and Zoey for their thoughtful, attentive, and thorough service. We'll definitely be back! This is, in my opinion, the number one hotel in Guangzhou. The environment, service, ambiance, and overall check-in experience were absolutely perfect! And the breakfast was delicious too, with a rich variety of options and so many mini cakes. The only downside was the foggy weather; next time we'll come back on a clear day to get a full view of the Canton Tower.

For my trip to Guangzhou, I chose the Rosewood Guangzhou and stayed 530 meters high in the clouds, overlooking the Pearl River and Canton Tower. The view was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was quiet and healing. What truly impressed me wasn't just the stunning high-altitude scenery, but the incredibly meticulous service. I must specifically thank my butler, Winston. From our initial contact before check-in, he consistently and promptly resolved any issues I had. He patiently recommended restaurants, explained all the hotel facilities, noticed my needs, and proactively offered assistance. His sincerity and dedication were truly evident. The accompanying pool and breakfast quality were consistently good. It was a very comfortable and pleasant trip. The next time I visit Guangzhou, I'll definitely choose Rosewood Guangzhou again, and I highly recommend everyone experience Winston's butler service.

I got a free room upgrade to a spacious room with a great river view. They provided plenty of mineral water, and every night before bed, they delivered a bookmark and a bottle of mineral water, which was a nice touch. The swimming pool water was clean, and my child had a lot of fun. For breakfast, there weren't many cake options, but the yogurt was excellent, and the cold brew oatmeal was delicious. My original booking included a 20% discount on hotel consumption, but the front desk told me I could get a 25% discount during check-in. However! When we had the 588 buffet dinner on the first floor that night, the front desk even had me sign to confirm the discounted price, and they confirmed the consumption with me at check-out. But when they returned my deposit, they didn't apply any discount at all, making me pay the full price!

This was my first stay at the Langham Guangzhou, and it's a great value-for-money five-star hotel. The surroundings are beautiful, though its location is a bit far from the city center, and there aren't many dining or shopping options nearby. However, I found the hotel's own restaurants to be excellent. The buffet at The Open Kitchen, Ming Court Chinese Restaurant, and the Italian restaurant were all very high quality and reasonably priced. I'm a fan of the service at the Langham Hong Kong, which is why I booked this hotel. I hope to come back with my family next time, driving up from Hong Kong. Thank you to the hotel and all the restaurant staff for your warm hospitality.

The Trip.com customer service was incredibly patient and helped me coordinate a stay at the Ritz-Carlton near Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou. The hotel's location is excellent, offering close-up views of the Canton Tower, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel breakfast is also very rich and highly recommended.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The bedding is quite soft, and there are two types of pillows to choose from. The room's soundproofing is good, and the cleaning staff are all very friendly. The mini-fridge in the room has free soft drinks, and on the day we checked in, we received complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel's location in the city center is very lively. There's a restaurant (Donghu) on the 5th floor below the hotel where you can have breakfast, and a small food court nearby. These are all the pros. As for the cons, since the hotel is in the busiest part of the city center, getting a taxi often means getting stuck in traffic for a long time. Also, because there's no proper entrance, getting in and out can be a bit tricky, so guests with elderly people or children should be careful.

The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

This was by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during the May Day holiday in Guangzhou and Shenzhen! At first, navigating there felt a bit 'remote,' but once inside, it was a pleasant surprise. The shuttle driver in the morning was also excellent; he proactively helped open doors and carry luggage. The front desk lady was very pretty and kind. I'll definitely be back if I need to stay near the airport again! (The room in the picture looks a bit small, but it's actually quite spacious.)

Arrived around 11 pm from Renmin station using a Didi, there is a parking lot for the driver to let you off. The staff didn't speak English but she was accommodating and used a translator to ask me about the hotel transfer. There is one an hour and it is a small mini van, it was quick and seamless would stay again.

This hotel was perfect for attending Chen Chusheng's concert. It's just one subway stop from University Town, so getting back to the hotel quickly after the show was a breeze. A big shout-out to Guangzhou's excellent management; the order was fantastic! The hotel's location deserves full marks – it's right by subway exit A, super close! 😁 The higher floor offered great views, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had delicious bread and waffles 🧇, tasty freshly made rice noodles, and plenty of fruit. We enjoyed the views while we ate. Both the floor staff and the ground floor attendants were very friendly. If you have time, you can also walk along the greenway on the island. The only downside is the price, around 500 a night, but overall, it was a good experience.
