Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|1.16km from downtown
This hotel is super convenient for catching the high-speed train to Shenzhen the next day, as it's right next to Guangzhou East Railway Station. You can walk there in 3-5 minutes from the station exit, and it's right by Metro Lines 1 and 3, making intercity travel to Shenzhen and Hong Kong incredibly easy. Plus, it's next to Oriental Plaza shopping mall, so dining and shopping are all taken care of in one spot. It's definitely a top choice for business travelers.
It's an established five-star hotel with a grand and elegant lobby featuring a waterscape. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk staff were very attentive, handling luggage assistance and storage seamlessly. The room was spacious with good natural light, a soft mattress, and excellent soundproofing thanks to double-glazed windows, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep even in the bustling city. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub.
The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a Cantonese dim sum buffet restaurant, a gym, and an outdoor pool. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the value for money is among the best for five-star hotels in the East Station area. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is a bit older, and some parts of the decor show their age, but it doesn't affect the overall stay.
Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|0.69km from downtown
Had an amazing stay at The Westin Guangzhou. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. A special thank you to Connor! He was very kind and helpful. Special thanks and appreciation to the guys in the lobby, Mike, Alex, and Simon for making the experience even more memorable with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
They were always willing to answer questions, help order taxis and Didi rides, assist with interpretation, find the correct addresses for locations, and even help with ordering food. Their support truly made navigating Guangzhou so much easier and stress-free.
The rooms were immaculate, lots of space for our luggage’s. Beautifully designed room!
House keeping was always available to clean the rooms, restock the towels and every necessary supplies.
The hotel lobby was elegant and welcoming, and the breakfast selection each morning was outstanding with so many fresh options. The restaurant on the 40th floor was absolutely incredible!
The views, atmosphere, and food were all top tier.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and truly made my trip to Guangzhou unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10
Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.86km from downtown
Oakwood Premier is extremely convenient - just one metro station ride on Line 1 from Guangzhou East rail station, and <10 mins walk from Exit A.
The check in, restaurant and housekeeping staff members are courteous and responsive to our needs - extra towels, restaurant bookings etc. It is a welcoming change from other hotel chains in other countries which we experienced lately.
The room is clean and spacious. There is however too many furniture (probably due to accommodating long term guests who need plenty of storage). Less furniture would be ideal with more walking space and effective opening of doors, eg bedroom door, if open, will block access to the wardrobe door.
The breakfast buffet spread is sufficient - Chinese and western dishes. The dining room is huge, bright and spacious with large windows. The F&B knowledge could be improved though eg having available the appropriate condiments with the buffet items (calamari rings, delicious but no dips to go with), fresh waffle with no maple syrup (just 4 different fruit jams and 1 peanut butter options), crispy bacon (but not cripsy in reality), Chinese dim sum (with no chili oil/sauce, vinegar etc) at lukewarm temperature (the steaming switch was deliberately kept at OFF though I switched it to ON several times.)
We will be back though. The value is in the location, clean and spacious room. Not the food.
Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|1.07km from downtown
We visited Guangzhou at the very end of our two-week trip. We decided to really splurge and booked this hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't see in the hotel's terms that an astonishing 800 RMB was charged per day. This information shocked us at the front desk, especially considering how tired we were from our train journey. Thankfully, the young lady was accommodating and checked us in without a deposit. But the surprises didn't stop there. For such a room price, we expected more perks beyond just breakfast, a gym, and a pool.
Regrettably, the hotel tries to squeeze even more money out of you in every other aspect. In hotels with fewer stars, laundry is always free, and they'll even dry your clothes and deliver them to your room. Not here.
I wouldn't call these significant drawbacks, but it still left a bad taste, as you don't want to deal with anything extra at the end of a trip. A huge thank you to the cleaning lady on the ninth floor for her wonderful mood every day and incredible care. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and stylish, and the room is superb. We also really enjoyed the pool and gym.
Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.53km from downtown
A truly wonderful trip!!
The hotel is conveniently located right below Zhengjia Plaza, which is a fantastic and lively downtown area in Guangzhou. It's incredibly easy to go shopping at the mall or head to Liuyun Community for drinks and food. The subway is right outside, and you can even get your Hong Kong and Macau visa endorsements done nearby.
As an established five-star hotel, it boasts comprehensive facilities, making for a very comfortable and relaxed stay. While not overly lavish, the staff training is exceptional; they are attentive without being intrusive, demonstrating excellent service awareness.
The Cantonese restaurant serves delicious and authentic cuisine.
This time, my window overlooked the facade of a commercial building, offering a beautiful nightly light display that was stunning to look at but didn't disturb my sleep at all.
Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|0.63km from downtown
Initially stayed 1 night added extra night, very centrally located lots of restaurants near by. It shares a communal lift with another hotel, down stairs coffee station and drinks.
Rooms are well kept and layout vary, liked the first room, laundry area was in the bath room to save space but worked well.
Communal self service laundry facilities. Located in the office blocks, lots of taxi waiting outside, independent coffee kiosk at the ground floor entrance. Restaurant across the street open to 2 am serving chaosan cuisine, Dim sum places around the corner.
Staff are nice, all foreigners will need their passports scanned or have a photo taken by their phones, apparently it will be loaded to the local police app. I was concerned why my personal details were stored on their phones as they didn’t immediately scan on the app just took a photo.
Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.94km from downtown
My recent stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was absolutely perfect, so I feel compelled to write a detailed review.
First, the room: it was spacious, with a chic French-inspired design that was very appealing. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive city view – the CBD skyline by day and the city lights by night – which was a huge plus. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, with quality evident in every detail.
However, what elevated this stay from 'good' to 'unforgettable' was Elaine at the Executive Lounge. As a frequent guest, I've experienced countless standardized smiles and services, but she was different. She remembered my surname, my preferred seat, and even quietly noted my favorite tea. She didn't engage in forced small talk but always appeared exactly when needed: a glass of warm water, a friendly greeting, a quiet arrangement. She made me feel truly 'seen.' This level of discernment and professionalism is precisely what a top-tier hotel should offer.
The Happy Hour offerings were consistently excellent, with refined hot dishes and a wide selection of beverages. In short, the facilities are top-notch, and the service is truly warm, especially Elaine, who made me feel a sense of comfort as if returning home. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, this will definitely be my first choice.
Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.69km from downtown
Tianmei Hotel has a great location, with a subway station right downstairs which is super convenient. This was my first stay and I got a free room upgrade, as the one I originally booked was quite small. The front desk service was excellent, and the facilities were well-equipped.
Tianhe Stadium/TaiKoo Hui Guangzhou|0.62km from downtown
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. The subway station exit is right outside, and TeeMall and Parc Central are next door.
Regarding the room assigned by the front desk – for me, it was a corner room. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk I didn't want a corner room, and they insisted it wasn't. Later, I discovered it was indeed a corner room.
My main dissatisfaction is with the room's cleanliness. Upon entering, I found false eyelashes on the desk and the glass mirror. This is completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, which should ensure everything is spotless, not even a speck of dust. I also noticed the white sheer curtain had some minor stains.
Basic amenities like razors and mouthwash shouldn't require guests to actively ask housekeeping for them. The cleaning lady even told me, 'We only provide them if a guest requests them.' Seriously? This is a 5-star hotel. Regardless of whether a guest needs them or not, these daily essentials should be readily available in the bathroom.
The air conditioning in the room was also quite cold.
**The hotel also provides local phone numbers for international guests to place orders conveniently.** My only minor complaint is having to go downstairs to pick up food. The hotel should really consider using robots to deliver food directly to guests' rooms.
Dongpu Economic Development Zone Guangzhou|5.57km from downtown
I was extremely satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.
East Huanshi Road Area Guangzhou|3.97km from downtown
Mediocre, that's how I'd describe my stay this time, especially after staying here so many times before. I requested a room away from the corner, but they gave me the very last corner room. I also asked for a room with a nice view, and what did I get? A view of an excavator! On top of that, there was a huge crack on the floor. I understand that during holidays, breakfast can be busy and people have to queue, which is fine. Everyone was queuing. But why did a foreigner get to skip the line just by saying they had friends inside? And why were Chinese guests, even when there were empty tables, seated in the most remote corner? Maybe the breakfast quality declined because of the crowd, but in the end, all I had was some pickles with congee, just to get it over with.
Zhujiang New Town and Wuyang New Town Commercial Area Guangzhou|2.16km from downtown
This hotel is located in the Tianhe business district, making it an excellent choice for business travelers and ideal for leisure guests too. It's not far from attractions like Zhengjia Plaza and Canton Tower, with a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes. Just around the corner from the hotel is Guangzhou Restaurant, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find a street full of eateries. The only downside is that the hotel entrance is tucked away in an alley, so taxis and cars can't drive right up to the door; you'll need to walk a short distance with your luggage.
The breakfast tasted good, though a bit simple. While the selection was limited, it was very delicious. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a stylish and comfortable design, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The hotel also offers a complimentary fitness center and self-service laundry room.
Upon check-in, I participated in the hotel's ”Breathe with Earth” activity and each person received a gift! 😄
East Huanshi Road Area Guangzhou|3.97km from downtown
The hotel's location is fantastic – just two subway stops from Guangzhou Station, and right outside the subway exit. Public transportation is also very convenient. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and even upgraded our room. It was clean, hygienic, and had good soundproofing. There's a direct connection to a shopping mall, and plenty of great food options nearby. I'll definitely choose Baiyun Hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou.
Guangzhou Railway Station and Yuexiu Park Area Guangzhou|6.67km from downtown
Since early 2025, whenever I'm in Guangzhou for business, I've always stayed at China Hotel (except during the Canton Fair when rooms are fully booked). Each stay is usually 2-3 days, and sometimes I'm there twice a month due to frequent trips. The hotel's location is excellent and the service is good, which is why I keep choosing it. However, I had such a bad experience on this recent trip that I felt compelled to write a review, hoping the hotel takes it seriously and improves its cleaning standards.
I checked in on June 2nd and requested a clean and quiet room at the front desk. The female front desk agent assigned me room 1638. I asked if an upgrade was possible but was denied, told that room 1638 had already been processed. Assuming there might not be other rooms available for an upgrade, I didn't press the issue. That evening, I returned to the hotel very late after a long day. After showering and getting into bed, I noticed the sheets felt a bit damp and had a strange odor. Initially, I thought it was coming from the carpet, but then I sniffed the pillows and realized they were the source of the smell – a mixture of sweat and mildew. All four pillows had this unpleasant odor. I felt completely uncomfortable and only managed to fall asleep around 3 AM (given how late and tired I was, I didn't want the hassle of changing rooms, though I strongly suspected the housekeeping staff hadn't changed the bedding).
On June 3rd, I left a note requesting that all bedding be changed. Later that day, the housekeeping staff left a note saying the bedding had been replaced and the previous items had been sent for drying. As a star-rated hotel that often hosts international guests, I hope China Hotel thoroughly investigates its housekeeping hygiene to avoid damaging its reputation.
Near The New Baiyun International Airport Guangzhou|25.68km from downtown
The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They offer a free airport shuttle, which is very convenient for getting around. The hotel also packed a breakfast for me with eggs, fresh milk, an apple, and bread – very considerate!
Huadu Business District Guangzhou|37.12km from downtown
The standalone villa was absolutely therapeutic! It was quiet and comfortable all night, completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast buffet was abundant and fresh, and I ate to my heart's content. Soaking in the hot springs completely relaxed me; the environment was serene, and the service was attentive. There's a shuttle bus to pick you up and drop you off at your room. I just didn't want to leave once I was there. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely come back next time!
Conghua Business District Guangzhou|74.13km from downtown
An amazing hot spring resort experience with our little one, perfect down to every detail!
We stayed at Bishuiwan Hot Spring Resort with our 1 year and 8-month-old baby, and the overall experience was fantastic! The Paris family room was cozy and our baby absolutely loved it. I especially want to commend the hotel's thoughtfulness – upon check-in, they gave us an Artemisia argyi health hammer, and specially prepared small toys and a children's gift for our baby 🎁. Our little one adored them and couldn't put them down, which was a truly delightful and thoughtful surprise!
The room was clean, there were many hot spring pools with excellent water quality, and the staff were always proactive in helping out when they saw us with a child. The Lixiangyuan restaurant also accommodated us by preparing a low-salt, no-garlic meal for the baby, which was very considerate. Plus, the portions were huge – this was the only restaurant where we ate till we were stuffed 🍴, literally burping.
It was a warm and relaxing family vacation, and I've already told my family we definitely need to come back to Bishuiwan! I hope this level of care and effort gets recognized 💕
Conghua Business District Guangzhou|72.57km from downtown
My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard:
1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all;
2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again.
3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment.
I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort.
P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free
Conghua Business District Guangzhou|65.77km from downtown
The room is spacious and clean, and the balcony offers a great view of the river! However, the staff at check-in were quite unfriendly. The parking attendant's attitude was also just so-so. The hotel facilities are good, but the service attitude made me uncomfortable! On the bright side, the cleaning staff were always smiling, offered good service, and even helped press the elevator buttons. It really depends on who you encounter.
Zengcheng Business District Guangzhou|66.22km from downtown
I happened to visit during International Women's Day. On March 7th, I even received a carnation from the hotel staff for Girls' Day. However, there didn't seem to be any activities on Women's Day itself, which was a bit disappointing. We usually prefer to book rooms in the main building here because it's been renovated and the room facilities are newer.
This time, when we went to the pet feeding area, it felt like they weren't ready for guests; maybe the timing was off. There were no staff members, and we didn't know what to feed the animals with. We could only look and then leave, which diminished the fun.
However, the customer service here is still good. Although sometimes the response time was quite slow, there was always a follow-up.
Guangzhou East Railway Station/Wushan Guangzhou|2.23km from downtown
I arrived quite late, hoping for a quiet place to rest, and the front desk staff thoughtfully upgraded me to a suite. Upon entering the room, I found it to be cozy and elegant, with a soft and comfortable bed. The room service was also very prompt. The bathroom facilities were complete, with plenty of hot water, and a hot shower instantly washed away the fatigue of the journey. Moreover, the room had excellent soundproofing, completely blocking out any external noise.
Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Haizhu Square Guangzhou|6.17km from downtown
The location is truly excellent. Beijing Road is right outside, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the Guangxiao Temple, which looks beautiful when lit up at night. The subway station is also very close, making it convenient to get to places like Canton Tower. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for one or two people. It was quite clean; the sheets and duvet cover looked freshly changed, and there was no odor in the bathroom, which was reassuring. All the necessary amenities were there: the air conditioning worked great, and the shower had strong water pressure, making for a comfortable shower. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and they provided two pillows, one soft and one firm, which was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff had a good attitude, check-in was quick, and they patiently answered questions about directions. Downstairs, there are all sorts of food options, from dim sum and desserts to beef offal, so you'll never go hungry at night. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Guangzhou.
East Huanshi Road Area Guangzhou|3.42km from downtown
The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door.

This was an absolutely unforgettable and flawless stay! Every single staff member demonstrated top-tier hospitality and incredible warmth, making me feel completely at home from the very beginning.
A massive thank you to Icy and Sherry at the Front Desk. They attentively listened to my preferences and swiftly arranged a seamless room change. The upgraded room was not only wonderfully spacious but also featured absolutely breathtaking panoramic views. Staying there was a pure delight!
The wellness experience was definitely another major highlight of the trip. I am so grateful to Hannah at the Spa; her genuine and engaging introduction is exactly what convinced me to treat myself to a spa session. I also want to thank Karina for her incredibly detailed walkthrough of the fully equipped gym and steam room, which made me feel completely comfortable enjoying the facilities. Furthermore, my therapist, Abby, was exceptionally professional—her expert techniques provided deep healing and total relaxation during the treatment.
The evening at the Bar was equally impeccable! A special shout-out to Lawrence, who went out of his way to secure a fantastic seat and handle my booking perfectly. He paid close attention to my needs and was a brilliant conversationalist, which allowed me to thoroughly enjoy a deeply relaxing and delightful time at the bar.
I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. It is a rare, ultra-attentive, and truly immersive luxury experience. I will undoubtedly be returning on my next visit to Guangzhou!

From the doorman's smiling greeting upon arrival to the meticulous service details that perfectly hit every comfortable note, this stay was exceptional. The intelligent control system in the room effortlessly managed all the amenities, and the bedding felt like sleeping on clouds. The custom-made toiletries in the bathroom were a delightful surprise. The afternoon tea desserts had rich layers of flavor, and even returning to the hotel late at night, this business trip accommodation experience completely exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a five-star benchmark in my book.
Pazhou International Exhibition Center Area Guangzhou|5.77km from downtown
Traveling with my mother, we chose this established five-star hotel, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The front desk manager, Michelle, was incredibly thoughtful. After understanding our situation, she proactively arranged a high-floor room for us, away from the noise, which ensured a very peaceful stay. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a pleasant fragrance, creating a wonderful ambiance. The hotel, despite its age, doesn't feel old; every detail of cleanliness is meticulously maintained, and all staff members are service-oriented. The morning dim sum at Ming Court was excellent, especially the buffalo milk tarts. The prime location also added a lot to our trip. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we will definitely return on our next visit.

Facilities: The hotel is indeed a bit older, but the rooms are exceptionally well-maintained and very comfortable to stay in.
Cleanliness: Spotless. The cleanliness standards of a luxury hotel speak for themselves.
Environment: Excellent location near Zhujiang New Town, with the Canton Tower directly across the river. The room offers fantastic views of the tower, perfect for photos.
Service: Very attentive and patient. Every time I called customer service, my requests were met. While food deliveries couldn't be brought directly to the room, other delivery needs were generally accommodated. The hotel staff were also very friendly, always greeting me with a smile and a welcome, making me feel right at home. For my birthday, they even pre-decorated the room simply and provided a delicious small cake.

The hotel room was spotless and the comforter was so soft and comfortable. The service was also excellent; they offer laundry and drying services. I only remembered I needed to do laundry late at night, and a staff member came up to my room to collect the dirty clothes. By the time I woke up in the morning, my clean and dry clothes were already hanging on my doorknob. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

This time, I brought my kids back to China for the summer holiday, and our first stop was the W Hotel Guangzhou! It was indeed fantastic 😎👍 We arrived around 11 PM for check-in, and the front desk staff, Clinton, was exceptionally nice, thoughtfully offering complimentary breakfast and a welcome gift. The hotel's breakfast was outstanding, with a rich and comprehensive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, completely satisfying us! The kids absolutely loved the rooftop pool. Whether it was the greeters, concierge, front desk, or housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly friendly! The service was so attentive, giving us a comforting sense of coming home during our return. 👍 Meeting up with a couple of friends in the lobby was great; the overall ambiance was both peaceful and comfortable! The room was meticulously clean, and they even provided turndown service with delicious snacks, which the kids adored! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Getting a taxi was so easy! And parcels were delivered directly to our room! All in all, this experience was absolutely excellent 👌! It's perfect for family and parent-child trips! Our four-day, three-night stay in Guangzhou was very pleasant, making us love the city's hospitality even more~ Next time I return to Guangzhou, this will definitely be my top choice!! I'll also recommend it to other friends! Thank you to every friendly staff member~
The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

Here’s a clearer and more structured version of your review:

I tried calling the hotel to book the free shuttle, but the first staff member who answered couldn’t speak English. When I called again, someone who spoke English picked up but hung up shortly after.
Because of this, I booked a Didi to the hotel, which cost around 40 RMB including the airport parking fee.
When I arrived, the first thing I did was arrange the free shuttle for my departure the next morning.
The room itself is clean, and the location is convenient. However, I noticed a wet area near the toilet, which could be improved.

Booked this room for a friend. It's really close to Guangzhou East Railway Station, within walking distance. My friend said they had a good stay, and it was very quiet. The front desk lady was very kind and pretty.

The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom window was transparent and had a curtain that could be closed. The hotel also had an airport pick-up service, which was good. It was a little far from the subway station, about 2 kilometers away.

This is our third year booking this hotel apartment. We book the same room type every year because it's spacious enough for our three large suitcases. This time, however, we were inexplicably assigned a super small suite. When we spoke to the hotel, we were told all suites of that type were the same, even though Ctrip listed the room size as 58 square meters. They claimed they 'sell them interchangeably'. We asked for the room type we always stay in, but were told it was unavailable. However, after complaining to Ctrip, the hotel miraculously found an available room for us.
I've attached the floor plan for our level, which includes room sizes. According to this plan, the first room we got was only 50 square meters, and even the slightly larger one we switched to was just over 54 square meters – nowhere near the 58 square meters the hotel advertises on Ctrip. This hotel is engaging in false advertising.
Furthermore, we stayed on a non-smoking floor, but many guests on that floor were smoking. The smoke even seeped into our room through the air conditioning system, yet the hotel's smoke alarms didn't react at all. Every morning, when the cleaning staff opened other room doors to tidy up, the entire floor was filled with a strong smell of smoke. Is your hotel's non-smoking floor just for show?
Over the years, the hotel apartment's facilities have visibly aged, and many areas are poorly maintained. Housekeeping is also subpar, with many neglected spots, especially in the bathrooms.
All in all, we were very disappointed with this hotel apartment after this stay. Its service quality has significantly declined. If there are no improvements, we likely won't choose this place again in the future.
