Staff at the desk speaks English, didn’t have any problems with communication. One thing to be aware of: since the hotel is very close to the airport, sounds of the airport can be heard in the late evening and night, so those who are noise sensitive, proceed booking with caution. Their breakfast is decent as well, with a lot to choose from Chinese to Western cuisine. Wasn’t crowded on a weekday at around 9:00AM. The room has all amenities: toothbrush, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap. Definitely a place I’d recommend to stay at if you have a layover in Chengdu.

Although I didn’t have time to visit the spa, it looked inviting, and I’d love to try it on my next visit. Another standout feature was the complimentary smartphone provided in the room, which came with internet access and was incredibly helpful for navigating the city. Overall, Dorsett Chengdu exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers exceptional value for money, combining luxurious comfort with top-notch service and an unbeatable location. Five minutes walk to Jiuzhaigou gate. Good breakfast. Staffs cannot speak English but they used translator equipment which I have never seen at any hotel before, that’s quite brilliant! It showed their adaptation in communication with foreigners.

Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast alot of options n delicious. I dine in for dinner as well and the food is delicious. You can order dishes pair with rice or even hotpot. Front desk is helpful. There is a hot spring as well if u are interested. The location is abit deserted but they have free shuttle service to main place like entrance of jiu zai gou. Easy to order didi as well. Also we check out very early around 5:45am and thy manage to prepare a car to send us to take the bus back to huanglong railway station. Thanks for the great service.

Travelling to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu now is such a breeze, with the high speed rail that goes direct to Huanglong Jiuzhai. A direct bus then connects and takes us straight to the scenic area. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel. Grand Rezen enjoys a fantastic location, being close to all the restaurants which are near to entrance of scenic area/ entrance of national park. About a 20min walk to the park, the hotel helps to arrange transport into the park in the mornings, if needed. Very clean and new-looking, and rooms come with heated beds, perfect for the current cold winter climate. Buffet breakfast serves a decent selection. Hotel staff are very helpful, and our 管家小韩 made sure to check in on us everyday, to see how our day went and to ensure we get any help that we might need. All in all a very comfortable stay, will definitely recommend.

We had requested for non - smoking room but we realized that there is an ashtray in the room with stale cigarette smell. I think this hotel do not segregate non - smoking and smoking room, so do note when booking if you are really sensitive to the smell. Nothing to complain about the location! Super convenient. Location wise is a good hotel as opposite hotel there’s very nice hotpot - 冯校长火锅.. and walking distance have chagee and heytea as well.. overall a nice spot but this is first time staying at 5 star hotel and no one offer to help you carry luggage and have to carry ourself to the room.

The rooms are large, tidy and clean. Staff are courteous, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fantastic, service standards overall are high. Location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to 天府广场 and 人民公园, and the 熊猫基地 is only a 30 minutes ride away.

We were there in Chengdu and faced some sudden changes in our itinerary when arriving,the staffs was extremely helpful and friendly in assisting us for all the problems and queries. I had my mother and brother birthdays on the day we checked in, the staff did a lot of surprises with decorations and cards, really appreciate the help from the morning sets of service crew. I may not get their names but i remember the gentleman with spectacles, along with two ladies with great smiles. 100% would recommend our friends or families to choose this hotel whenever they visit chengdu!!!

This hotel was far beyond what we expected. We stayed here for 2 nights in the room with the floor heater on the 3rd floor where we could get the breathtaking view of Siguaningshan right from our room. The hotel room was very nice, cozy, comfy and very clean. In the room, they provided everything you might need esp. the Oxygen generator. The staffs were very helpful, service minded and nice. They tried to help us to manage the transfer, to order some food with the handy translator. That was great. This hotel was not in the downtown but the hotel provided the transfer for us with the very polite driver. And this hotel had so many picturesque and scenic photo spots for us taking lots of photos. And we enjoyed it so much. And for food, they had Western and Chinese food and they had bar as well. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone. You will totally love this place for 100%.

Had a wonderful stay at Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort! It is one of the most beautiful hotels that I’ve stayed. Room is nice and big. On a side note, I would like to convey my appreciation for the hospitality Mr Andy (Restaurant Manager) showed to my family. My family and I were having dinner at one of the restaurants outside of the hotel and it was a really bad experience - long wait for food (which they over promised), poor service and mediocre food. Hence, my dad went back to the hotel for another light meal+drinks and met Mr Andy and was casually chatting with him about the experience we had. Upon hearing his experience, Mr Andy was apologetic and wanted to make up for the poor experience - he didn’t have to be because it was not within the hotel’s purview. The next morning, he made a note to his team and ensured that my family had sufficient light bites to be taken to Jiuzhaigou. His hospitality is beyond amazing. Thank you Hilton and Andy for the great and memorable experience at your hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous villa style hotel with great service provided by Eve and her colleagues. Eve was responsive and checked in with us to ensure that we had all we needed for a stay. The housekeeping team was also prompt with our requests. Buggy can take a while to arrive during breakfast peak hours. You could tell that the room heater had been turned on hours pre-arrival to welcome its guests warmly. Room had a beautiful mountain view and the toilets were huge. Though we had some issues with opening and closing the sliding door at the toilet it, wasnt too big an issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting jiuzhaigou!

I understand that. I read the comments that Howard Johnson is a bit old, and there will be old guest rooms. I stayed here for a layover overnight, but access to things made it a challenge. The complex is still too new. There’s a few hotels there. I also feel it was poorly lit. Taxi access was a challenge. I fell in the dark area outside. The gift shop was nice down the street. Food delivery required going down the street by the shuttle, so bringing bags was not easy. I tried three times for a Didi. The landscape is nice, but I have no idea why that airport area is not better developed or why it is so dark around there.
