This hotel is absolutely amazing, probably the best value for money in the world! I usually don't like taking photos, but I couldn't stop snapping pictures at Wu Palace – every shot was perfect. I can't stop thinking about it; it's a must-stay in Suzhou, truly fantastic!
The breakfast selection was extensive, though the service was just average. I really liked the buckwheat pillow. The heated pool had a great temperature, and the changing rooms were equipped with a steam room, sauna, and even a washing machine. The observation deck was a bit of a letdown, perhaps my expectations were too high, but it's easily accessible with your room key. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. One minor inconvenience is that the hotel starts from the 45th floor, so you always have to take one elevator up to the 45th floor and then switch to another. A big plus is its convenient location right next to a subway station. The first four floors house a shopping mall, which isn't overly crowded and has some dining options.

My stay at the Furong Garden, Building 8, at Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel was fantastic overall.
As hotels with ”Xiyuan” (meaning 'guesthouse' or 'reception hall') in their name often are, the environment truly lived up to its reputation. The garden landscape is beautiful; it felt like I was living right in a park, and morning and evening strolls were incredibly pleasant. Building 8 is relatively new, with elegant and sophisticated decor. The room was spacious and bright, the hygiene details were well taken care of, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep.
The service also deserves praise. After booking, the staff were all very warm and professional, and any requests were generally met promptly. The breakfast selection was rich, and the local Yangzhou specialties at Quyuan were very authentic and definitely worth trying.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Slender West Lake. It offers both the tranquility of a garden hotel and the convenience of easy access.
If you're visiting Yangzhou for travel or a family vacation, Building 8 comes highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou.
The room was great! Even though it had an older decor, everything was so well-maintained it looked brand new, with hardly any signs of age. The view from the window was especially beautiful. For those booking a Club level room, you can skip the queue at the main lobby and check-in directly at the Club Lounge, which is absolutely worth visiting for its exclusive stunning views. As for Jiangnan灶 (Jiangnan Za), it certainly lives up to its reputation. However, if you're staying at the hotel and want to dine there, you *must* book a day in advance! Book a day in advance! Otherwise, you'll end up waiting in line until you're completely exhausted!

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.
The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service!
We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.

Room was very spacious, well-kept and the location was great - 5 minutes walk to the train station and surrounded by shopping malls. The staff were attentive to our needs to and quick in meeting our requests. The only downside is that didi cars cannot be driven directly to the hotel lobby entrance and can only pick us up at the office building entrance (same building as Ascott but facing another direction). Other than that, this is a great and convenient place to stay when travelling in Wuxi!

I brought my family here for a birthday celebration. The hotel arranged a birthday setup and gave us a small cake, which was delicious!
**Appearance:** The cruise ship design is quite unique, and right across from it is the Gate of the Orient. It's lovely to take a stroll on the boardwalk in the evening.
**Interior:** The hotel is a bit older, so some rooms might have a slight odor, but the staff promptly addressed it, which was decent. The sanitation facilities were clean.
**Service:** The staff, including those in the breakfast restaurant, Zhenlu Yi Hotpot, and the doormen, were all incredibly warm and polite. (The coffee bar staff, however, were a bit lacking.)
**Breakfast:** It's a mix of Chinese and Western options. While the variety isn't huge, everything tasted great, especially the Suzhou-style Aozao noodles! They were so good I had two bowls! There wasn't much fruit though.
**Toiletries:** They use BORGESE products, with an orange scent, which was very pleasant.

Just a few minutes' walk from Pingjiang Road and the Humble Administrator's Garden, this hotel offers a quiet retreat right in the heart of Suzhou. There are supermarkets and eateries nearby, and delivery services can reach the hotel. The hotel itself boasts a beautiful Jiangnan-style garden with a water feature, and the pavilions and rockeries look absolutely stunning when lit up at night – perfect for photos!
The 'Tianyi Tower' room type I stayed in this time was excellent. The central garden with its water features is incredibly beautiful; during the day, koi fish swim gracefully, and at night, the stone lanterns reflect on the water. Every photo you take here captures that classic Chinese aesthetic, echoing the Ming Dynasty Northern Half Garden's charm, with every step revealing a new picturesque view.
The guest rooms feature a new Chinese elegant style. The twin room was spacious, and the magnolia embroidery on the headboard added a lovely touch of Suzhou charm. The bathroom was very well-designed with fluted glass and a circular mirror, and the wet/dry separation was excellent. They even provide Bvlgari White Tea toiletries! The cool, sophisticated white tea scent was absolutely captivating; after showering, the entire room had a subtle tea fragrance, truly showing attention to detail. My only minor gripe was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but otherwise, everything was perfect.
The breakfast was authentic and culturally rich. This is definitely a garden-experience hotel you must stay at when visiting Suzhou.

Booked an executive room, got upgraded to a deluxe suite, both the space and the view were satisfying.
Had afternoon tea at the executive lounge once; the desserts were pretty good, overlooking Haizhou District from the 41st floor.
Also tried the buffet dinner once; it was generally average, nothing particularly outstanding.
The room itself didn't feel old, and the facilities were well-maintained. Overall, a positive review.
Will consider staying here again next time I visit Lianyungang.

Shangri-La Yangzhou embodies the elegance of Jiangnan, offering a high-end and comfortable experience. The environment is refined and grand, the rooms are quiet and cozy, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The service is attentive and meticulous, and the cuisine at Shang Palace is surprisingly delicious. It was a relaxed and delightful stay, a truly comfortable and fulfilling experience ✨

GGuest UserDesigned by the internationally renowned SL+A HOTELS, this hotel boasts 160 comfortable and elegant rooms and suites that seamlessly blend the charm of Suzhou with modern minimalist aesthetics. From classic moon gates to traditional Suzhou black and white architectural designs, it skillfully incorporates classical Suzhou elements. The Artyzen Habitat Suzhou integrates the unique local cultural essence of Suzhou into contemporary aesthetics. The Artyzen Habitat experience is outstanding, with an elegant and clean environment, attentive and thoughtful service, and complete and comfortable facilities. It's also conveniently located for getting around. My overall stay was perfect, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Suzhou.
KKelaladaidahonghuaStayed for 2 nights with my child.
Facilities: For a family-friendly hotel, I was actually a bit disappointed. The water park I was really looking forward to before arriving was closed. There was only one 1.4m swimming pool, and the water temperature was a bit low. Out of all the all-inclusive activities, we only tried rock climbing a few times; the rest were just okay. I felt there weren't as many things for kids to do as I had hoped.
Hygienics: Shoes were scattered all over the entrance of the mini-club, and the library at the entrance was unattended. It felt a bit dirty and messy.
Environment: The location is very remote. There's nothing fun or good to eat nearby, so we were stuck staying at the hotel.
Service: Only the service was good. Our butler was always prompt in answering questions and requests. The 'coffee brother' who played games with the kids at the U Bar in the evening was also great. However, after the children's performance on the first night, there were some adult-oriented shows. All the parents present felt it was very inappropriate for a family-friendly hotel.

GGuest UserChoosing to stay at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel for my trip to Suzhou was an excellent decision. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Gusu District, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. It's incredibly close to major attractions and popular streets, making it super convenient to get around, whether by taxi or on foot. What truly impressed me was Cherry, my dedicated butler. Her service was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Even before I arrived, she thoughtfully planned my sightseeing routes and recommended local delicacies and must-visit spots. Throughout my stay, she was proactive and helpful in every way. The room itself was spotless, with high-quality furnishings and easy-to-use smart devices. I loved being able to relax in the room and enjoy the beautiful courtyard view; comfort levels were absolutely maximized. Breakfast was a delight with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of options catering to both northern and southern tastes, making every morning meal a pleasure. The hotel's garden scenery is stunning, and leisurely strolls through the courtyard were wonderfully relaxing. Overall, the hotel boasts excellent facilities, an elegant environment, and with Cherry's incredibly thoughtful and attentive service, my entire stay was comfortable and smooth. It's truly a superb choice for accommodation in Suzhou.
GGuest UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! If you're coming to Suzhou, staying in a garden-style setting is a must. This hotel is a conversion of a 300-year-old house. While the building is old, all the facilities are incredibly modern, including a gym, pool, and even Dyson hair dryers. It's just a bridge away from Pingjiang Road, so you can enjoy the bustling lights on one side while having your own tranquil oasis on the other (the courtyard rooms are behind the wall you see in the video). The hotel breakfast is excellent, a semi-buffet of Chinese and Western small plates, complemented by your choice of a Chinese or Western main course. The breakfast noodles are especially delicious, served with fresh water chestnuts and shrimp. I particularly want to commend the hotel's service; it was truly warm and welcoming.
The hotel is a convenient 20-minute walk (or 5-minute bike ride) to Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lion Grove Garden. Ou Garden is a 10-minute walk. Wangshi Garden is a bit further, about a 15-minute bike ride. I'd recommend getting a joint ticket for the first three gardens, which is valid for three days. There are also some fantastic restaurants nearby, and both Pingjiangfu and Jinhaihua are within walking distance. If your budget allows, definitely go for the Songmaoju Suite – it's a private house with its own courtyard, so you won't have to worry about footsteps from above or noise from the shared courtyard. They also have smaller standard rooms to suit various budgets. A small heads-up: one wall of the courtyard rooms faces Pingjiang Road, so it can be a bit noisy during the day, but don't worry, it's very quiet at night.
Just a minor suggestion: the super-large bathroom with a bathtub, double sinks, and three separate areas is fantastic, but there's only one hook. I'd suggest adding a few more. Also, the wardrobe could use some pant hangers.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience.
The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.
However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
GGuest UserI came to Nanjing for Liu Yuning's concert, and the Regalia Hotel I chose this time truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is about 3 kilometers from the venue, so a taxi ride was very quick. After the show, I could get back to my room quickly to rest, avoiding a lot of traffic headaches. The location is absolutely perfect for concert-goers. What touched me even more was the hotel's service, especially Ada at the front desk. She was so warm and attentive, making me feel incredibly welcomed from check-in to check-out. It added a lot of warmth to my solo fan-chasing trip. Although the room wasn't huge, it was decorated very cozily and was impeccably clean. The bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after days of rushing around and the excitement of the concert.
The only 'minor regret' was Nanjing's weather these past two days – the temperature fluctuated quite a bit, which was a bit unexpected. However, the hotel itself was always warm and comfortable. If I come to Nanjing again for a show or to visit, Regalia will definitely be my first choice!
LlucyzhengrongThe hotel stay experience is great! Must give praise~
• Comfortable environment: The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the lighting and sound insulation are very good, the stay is super safe, and the lake view room is upgraded.
• Intimate service: The housekeeper Miss Yu Ting is enthusiastic and professional, the check-in is super fast, and she also takes the initiative to introduce the surrounding food and facilities, and responds to every request!
• Complete facilities: air conditioning, hot water are super powerful, Wi-Fi speed is fast, and there is free parking, which is very friendly to self-driving parties~
• High cost performance: reasonable price, rich breakfast, yun er will stay here next time~

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is superb, just a 10-minute walk from the museum and Humble Administrator's Garden. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Both the front desk and breakfast staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic, and kindly helped explain the room layout. The unique therapy programs, like sound healing with singing bowls and robotic therapy, are quite distinctive and left me feeling refreshed and revitalized both mentally and physically.
