The English name here on Trip says it is Holiday Inn Express, but this was not the signage outside the hotel. It just says Baihang zhixuan hotel. Room is clean and spacious enough. Self-laundry available at the rooftop. Noise is heard in the bedroom when crowds gather outside as the parking and entrance gate are right outside the hotel. The staff messaged me a day before the check in date to offer pick up service (for a fee) from Huangshan north station to the hotel which was convenient for us.

But once you were in the room it was another story. Beds were nice and soft and clean and bathroom was clean and tidy. Breakfast was buffet style and good. The hotel is not too far from the Old Street area. However you still need to call Didi and it costs you little. The last point is the hotel price was very inexpensive. It gives you a very good value for your money. So if you are looking for a good hotel to sleep with budget in mind, this is the one. There are restaurants near the hotel. You can clearly hear people talking outside, day and night, and the tapping of trekking poles is very noticeable. Light sleepers should definitely bring earplugs. Since there's no air conditioning, the heating can make it dry and stuffy in the early morning. The buffet dinner is 160 per person, a separate charge, and it's just average. On the plus side, the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. They upgraded our room and provided complimentary fruit and two bottles of water. There are also down jackets available in the room, which are handy for watching the sunrise in the morning.
