Hotels with Pools in Tamuning

We love staying at Dusit Tani when in Guam. Location is the best, service is friendly and professional and the restaurants in the hotel are upscale with great food and amazing service! The only downside is: the beach facilities. They have old and broken beach chairs which are mostly taken by locals, so even though you pay over 250$ for a hotel night, if you want nice beach chairs with umbrellas, you would have to pay another 60$ for a third part to use the chairs for the day, really not compatible for a 5 star beach resort. It is good to point out that the hotel offers live music every night (except Tuesdays) and that is another reason we love staying there

This hotel was my stopover accommodation after transiting through Guam. It's very close to the airport, about 3 kilometers away, and a 5-minute taxi ride. When departing for the airport in the early morning, you can ask the front desk to call a taxi for you. The room was spacious, but the lighting setup was just okay and not really to my taste.

The room was very spacious! However, the hotel felt quite old, with the balcony floor peeling and rust everywhere. 💦 The thing I disliked the most was the ants on the living room floor... This was very stressful. Shampoo and other amenities were provided, but there were only bath towels and no face towels. The shower pressure was weak and the hot water was sometimes a bit hard to come by. Some of the front desk staff were very friendly, while others were a bit unfriendly. The price was cheap, so I guess it can't be helped.

I like this place and often book for the infinity pool but I was a bit bummed with this recent booking. The weather wasn’t great, not the hotels fault so I didn’t swim but still enjoyed laying in the pool area. I had upgraded my room this time thinking the beds would be better since they all seem outdated and the higher priced room wasn’t any different. Just had a beach view that I liked. My major is issue was upon check in and how very unnecessarily slow the process was. I’ve worked at hotels before, no one should take this long to check in their guests, especially when the entrance doesn’t turn on their AC for their guests. On top of that I had important dinner plans that were delayed bc I couldn’t get ready in a timely manner due to the outlets being broken and broken hair dryer. I had to blow dry my hair over the toilet. I was happy the manager spoke to be next day she seemed very sweet and I am hoping I am somehow compensated in the near future. I was very disappointed that I booked this stay and hope the hotel can redeem itself.

The facilities are old and the hygiene is concerning; the pillows had a strange smell, just as other reviews mentioned. However, my kids absolutely loved the water park and spent a long time there every day. Staying in Block B was very convenient, as the water park was right off the elevator. The staff were also very friendly and installed a safety rail as I requested. The room was spacious, and the view from the 29th floor was fantastic. They even provided a clothes drying rack, which was a thoughtful touch.

Spacious and comfortable! I brought a shower filter because people said to definitely bring one when going to Guam, but unlike what I'd heard about using one a day, the filter barely turned yellowish even after three days. It's very clean! Best of all, there's a swimming pool and the staff are incredibly friendly!

I was worried after reading reviews about the old facilities, but I was completely satisfied. I went to the supermarket to buy cheap meat and cooked it myself. The room was spacious, with two bathrooms, a dining table on the left and right, and a large refrigerator. I was very satisfied with the price. There was a large pool in the yard behind the front desk, and I had a great time playing underwater basketball. The air conditioning was quite loud, so it might be a bit annoying for those with sensitive skin. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

It was convenient to have a Korean staff member at the reception. However, even without a Korean staff member, communication was easy and everyone was friendly. The facilities felt a bit dated, but they were still clean. I booked an ocean view room, but it was only partially visible from the balcony, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the view of the ocean from the pool was so beautiful that it was worth it. The connection was convenient, and since there weren't many people, I had a great time. Breakfast was good, but the dinner buffet was under construction, so I couldn't use it. The gym was great. I recommend it.

I ended up booking the Hilton last minute for a New Year's trip to Guam, mainly because it was one of the few hotels with availability for two or more consecutive nights. To be honest, I'd just spent two nights at The Tsubaki, and stepping into the Hilton, my mood dipped slightly. The price was high, as expected for New Year's. The room condition was just old. The breakfast was pretty basic, nothing special. However, all the staff were friendly, especially the front desk clerk.

Good location, only 26🔪 taxi from the airport, free WIFI is not good, intermittent, thin quilt, no toothbrush, kettle, microwave, hair dryer. Front desk staff, good service attitude. Opposite is the police station. Downstairs is ABC supermarket, very close to DSF duty-free shop. The price is also relatively affordable. When coming to Guam, it is better to rent a car at the airport. The bus in the city is not convenient, and there is no bus at many attractions.
