I normally do not write reviews, but unfortunately, my stay here was very disappointing.
I chose to stay at this hotel because a super typhoon was approaching Guam, and I was hoping to avoid unnecessary stress and have a safe, comfortable place to stay. However, from the first day, the experience was frustrating. I was initially placed in a room where the air conditioning was not working. After notifying the front desk, a technician was sent, but the issue could not be fixed, so I had to be relocated to another room.
Because of the storm conditions, dining options were very limited, so we had no choice but to eat at the hotel. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and quite expensive.
The most disappointing part was that my room was never cleaned. I was told several times that the hotel was short-staffed, but that should not become the guest’s problem, especially when paying full price for the room. In fact, the rate was even higher due to what the hotel referred to as “typhoon rates.”
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The service did not match the premium price being charged, and I did not feel that local guests were treated with the same level of hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this standard. Based on this experience, this will be my first and last time staying here.
