"First of all, I’d like to say my stay at Hotel Tano Guam was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! I visited with my 2-year-old daughter for her birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a small cake and even upgraded our room so she would have plenty of space to run around. We absolutely loved the room we stayed in. The front desk team was incredibly helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the Rooms Division Manager, Jerald Aradanas, for the room upgrade and the thoughtful gifts for my daughter! I also want to mention the night shift front desk staffs, Axel and Gene. They gave us such a warm welcome after our long flight and made the check-in process incredibly smooth. Thank you, Hotel Tano team! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guam. Highly recommended!"

"Went on a vacation with my family, and this hotel was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The service was excellent, and the infinity pool with its blue skies and ocean views was so calming and atmospheric. It was also quite convenient for getting around."

"The location is in Tumon, which is touristy but with lots of shops available for shopping, eating and entertainment. A few minutes drive from the airport makes is super convenient for an overnight stay or longer. "

"The city view was fantastic; it was beautiful and offered a full view of downtown Guam. The breeze was strong, and the air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. However, the TV seemed outdated and had limited channels. Although I only stayed for one night and didn't get to experience everything, I would definitely visit again."

"The location is great, but the shower had no hot water (т ̫ т). I ended up using the hot water from the bathtub shown in the second photo to wash myself (it was a really awkward position, lol). Also, it was really cold returning to the room with the AC blasting after getting out of the pool. It was also inconvenient not having an outlet near the bed! The room itself was spacious and comfortable! The fridge had almond chocolates (Japanese ones), alcohol, and juice. There were also three bottles of water. In the hallway, there's a water cooler and an ice machine. I hope this helps anyone who's still deciding."

"I loved the bathtub! It was super comfortable and an extra bonus I was able to watch TV from the bathtub!The balcony was big and spacious. The noise from the on-site birds i didn't like nor the sounds of the frogs at night. The bright lights at night meant i couldn't open my blinds. Saw wasp nests in balcony area? Swimming pool area was massive! Beautiful sunsets!!Soft and dreamy pillows. The shower is small nor could i use it. Phoned reception no answer. There was a hole in one of the bath towels. Soft sand at the beachfront."

"This was my fourth time in Guam, but I booked last minute, so there weren't many options for a family of four. This was my first stay at this hotel, on a standard floor. First off, if you dislike bugs, you might want to reconsider. The front desk staff are genuinely cheerful and friendly. They were kind and helpful with our inquiries, never making us feel like a bother. I'd probably skip the breakfast next time. While the morning view from the breakfast area has a resort feel (see photo), the food selection was quite limited—less than 10 items, including toast, eggs, rice, miso soup, rolls, and mixed vegetables, with no local dishes. By 9:00 AM, there were no staff members around. For our second morning, we opted to eat at a restaurant outside. This is a hotel with a lot of history in Guam. As is common for hotels of this age in Guam, the plumbing and hot water system show their age – weak drainage and brownish hot water. Given its history and affordable price, I suppose it's to be expected. They provide a full set of amenities, and you can get refills at the front desk. The hotel's charm lies in its proximity to Ipan Beach, Proa, and Kmart. Meskla Dos (for burgers) is also within walking distance, and the classic ABC Store is just a 2-minute walk away. Tony Roma's on the first floor: if each person orders a set, you probably won't be able to finish it unless you're a student. Also, the Osaka-ya restaurant, which used to be run by a famous owner and is about a 5-minute walk away, is no longer the same place as the owner has changed to a foreigner. We had a rental car, so the distance to town wasn't an issue for us. But if you're not renting a car, a trolley pass might be useful. A great feature is that you can directly access the parking lot from the guest room floor, so parking on the same floor is incredibly efficient. This is quite rare, as hotels and parking lots are usually separate. Again, I have no complaints because the staff are kind and the price is affordable."

"The staff were very friendly. I stayed one night in the Island Wing and four nights in the Tower Wing, and the Tower Wing was definitely cleaner. While it's hard to expect the same service quality or cleanliness as a Lotte Hotel in Korea, I felt that all the staff were doing their best. I stayed in a club room, so I experienced the 7 AM breakfast, 2 PM afternoon tea, and 5 PM happy hour. I only went to afternoon tea once; after that, I didn't feel the need to go again. The selection was simple, and while juice was provided, the coffee machine was off, so I couldn't get my caffeine fix in the afternoon, which made it less worthwhile. The desserts offered at afternoon tea were the same ones served at the 5 PM happy hour, so having one or two then was enough to satisfy any dessert or bread cravings during my stay in Guam. Both breakfast and happy hour had a decent variety of menu changes daily, so it never got boring. As it was my nth visit to Guam, and I'd pretty much tried all the unique food options, it was actually more convenient to just eat at the hotel at set times. Oh, and the draft beer at happy hour was pretty good. I can understand why some people might compare Lotte with Tsubaki or Hilton because of the pool. But my routine was to have breakfast, enjoy a good swim in Tumon Beach, and then, when I felt like relaxing, head to the Lotte Hotel pool for another swim before returning to my room. So, the Lotte pool was perfectly satisfactory for me. The Tower Wing club rooms are on floors 14-16 (I was on the 16th floor), so the view was fantastic, and I could even watch Tsubaki's fountain show from my room in the evening. However, due to the angle, the sun sets behind Tsubaki and Nikko, making it unsuitable for watching the sunset from the room. For sunsets, you'd need to go to a sunset viewpoint or a coastal establishment like Tashigrill. This time, I didn't rent a car and bought a 5-day Red Shuttle pass, which I used daily. It was convenient to take the northbound route from the GPO area, which passed Nikko and Tsubaki, and dropped me off right in front of Lotte. Similarly, taking the southbound route from the same stop to GPO or to Don Quijote (via Donki car) was also convenient. Honestly, it's a bit annoying if the hotel lobby entrance and the shuttle stop are far apart, especially when it's hot. But with the stop right in front and no uphill climbs or stairs, it was incredibly convenient and I didn't feel any inconvenience without a rental car. (Though, if you plan to visit the south, Emerald Valley, or waterfalls, you definitely need a rental car!) There were many Korean staff members at Lotte Hotel, and I received plenty of towels and water throughout my stay. It was a convenient and enjoyable family trip."

"The room had plenty of space with spectacular beach views from the 20th floor balcony. Nice water bottles were provided with a refill machine close to the elevators. I slept very well on the first night as the bed was really comfortable. Great facilities downstairs. Plenty of large sunning chairs. Swimming pools with slide for kids and waterfall for adult side. There was also a jacuzzi in an alcove between the pools. Lots of space to relax and enjoy a coffee in the lobby area. This hotel easily passes muster."

"If you're traveling with kids, this is absolutely the best choice – it's truly fantastic! The beach, kids' classes, and a swimming pool are all available. You can easily spend an entire day at the hotel. Across the street, there's a shooting range and restaurants, and about a kilometer's walk away, there's a large supermarket. This hotel isn't heavily promoted back home, but it's genuinely good! Yes, the facilities are a bit old, but it's definitely not a dealbreaker."
