The hotel is located in a prime area of Makati, right in the central business district and within walking distance of major malls, restaurants, and offices, which made it extremely convenient for work travel and client meetings. Check-in was efficient and professional, and the staff throughout the stay were consistently polite and attentive. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials for business travelers, including a comfortable work desk and reliable housekeeping. The bed was especially comfortable, which helped after long working days. Wi-Fi is generally stable and suitable for work, though in some areas it can feel slightly inconsistent during peak hours. The hotel also offers strong business facilities, including meeting rooms and easy access to transport services like Grab, which made commuting around Makati and to the airport very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the dining options within the hotel are solid for both quick meals and more formal business dinners. The lobby and common areas have a calm, professional atmosphere that suits corporate travel well. Overall, Fairmont Makati is a strong choice for business stays in Manila due to its location, service quality, and comfort, even if pricing is on the higher side compared to other nearby options. I had an exceptional stay at Ascott Makati. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Makati with direct access to Glorietta Mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring the city incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well-maintained. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, which made it feel like a home away from home. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything stayed spotless throughout my stay. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the efficient service at breakfast, everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The amenities are top-notch, with a relaxing pool, well-equipped gym, and great dining options. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, all fresh and delicious. Overall, Ascott Makati delivers the perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and convenience. Whether for business or leisure, I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Manila.

I stayed in Horizon Club for 4 nights. The club lounge offered excellent services and food variety. Love the staircase link between 2 floors. The hotel location is excellent. However, the hotel overall are bit dated. . Need renovation. The cleanliness of the carpet in the room need to be improved. Overall, the service, food and staff are excellent, above and beyond Shanghai-la reputation . Again, need major renovation to keep up the competition around Makati area.

It's okay, the condotel is clean and the location is good. The only downside is that only four people are allowed in the pool at a time, and only the person registered on the key card can supervise the pool area.
