GGuest UserWe were given a free upgrade to an unbeatable family room with a panoramic sea view, and the view truly lives up to the 'unbeatable' description! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the Jinshitan coastline directly. You can lie in bed and watch the sky and sea merge into one, and at sunrise, the entire ocean turns golden – it's incredibly therapeutic. Honestly, though, the room itself was a bit compact, especially after setting up the kids' bed and luggage, leaving limited moving space. However, it was well-designed, and the family-friendly amenities were complete (kids' toiletries and small slippers were all provided). Right outside the hotel is a long stretch of beach, actually seven of them, with fine, soft sand and clean water. The kids dug in the sand, played in the waves, and collected seashells, refusing to leave until dark. The best part is how convenient it is – you just go downstairs and you're at the sea. Transportation is also easy, with a tram and electric carts available, which is fantastic for families with kids. Overall impression: Although the room was small, the view and convenience were absolutely worth the price. It's perfect for families seeking a sea view and a relaxing trip with children. If you're particular about room size, you might need to adjust your expectations, but for this sea and beach, I think it's well worth it. Our stay was a fantastic experience overall; the kids had a blast, and the adults relaxed. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a family trip to Jinshitan, Dalian!

GGuest UserIt was really pleasant to soak in the hot spring and enjoy an iced coffee in the room on a rainy day, especially with Dalian's comfortable weather. Facilities: The room facilities had a charming, retro feel from an earlier era. While a bit old, they were fairly well-maintained. Hot Spring Ticket for Two (Single Entry): The hot spring itself was quite good, though the massage services closed a bit early. Service: Brynn provided attentive and warm service, which definitely enhanced our entire trip. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the scrambled eggs with shrimp from room service were surprisingly good.

Located in the heart of Donggang, it's right downstairs from Venice Water City, and within walking distance to the seaside boardwalk and subway station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning, unobstructed ocean views; you can wake up and admire the endless blue sea from your bed. At night, you can even watch the musical fountain show downstairs. The rooms are spacious and spotless, featuring smart bathroom facilities, laundry equipment, and soft, skin-friendly bedding. Some room types even include a kitchen, which is very practical for family extended stays. The staff provides attentive and meticulous service, handling things efficiently. For those driving, free parking is available. This hotel is perfect for both family vacations and business travelers.

GGuest UserTraveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children. On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved. The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

DDawn__99This hotel fully lives up to its excellent reputation; my overall stay was incredibly comfortable and pleasant! I really have to commend the staff here. The front desk receptionists were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and they handled my check-in with such patience and meticulousness. I felt a sense of genuine hospitality the moment I walked in. I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and when I approached the duty manager, they resolved it swiftly and efficiently without any hesitation or delays. They truly thought from a guest's perspective to find a solution, and the problem was handled perfectly in no time, clearing up any previous worries and making me feel completely at ease. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, not far from both Donggang and Zhongshan Square, making it very convenient to get to various attractions and shopping areas. The in-house facilities are also excellent; the swimming pool in the gym was meticulously clean, and my child had a blast playing in the water. Whether it's the service, the location, or the recreational facilities, I couldn't find a single fault. This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip.

DDaixiloulouThe room was fantastic and spacious, with a great view from the high floor. The hotel service was exceptional, and the breakfast was one of the most plentiful I've ever had at a hotel. The intern was very friendly and provided excellent service. My family was also very satisfied. We'll definitely stay at Crowne Plaza Xinghai again on our next trip.

BBenxiangqiandedashaguaxiansenThe bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was excellent. The only drawback was that the shower leaked, with water pooling all over the bathroom floor. Given that it's a coastal location already prone to humidity, a wet bathroom floor immediately detracts from the hotel's quality. While the facilities and service were both very good, this one detail was a significant oversight. Another minor issue was the scarcity of tissues in the box – something you rarely encounter in a 5-diamond or 5-star hotel. However, these minor flaws didn't overshadow an otherwise excellent stay. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, ample parking for those driving, and it's located right next to Wanda Plaza with a Bi You Te supermarket.

YYemzyThe experience at this hotel was good my daughter was so happy with the Balala fairy room she enjoyed herself so much, and many thanks to **** for checking up on us as we left the hotel, we loved the atmosphere the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the F&B manager went out of his way to make sure that we sat comfortably and we were served exceptionally well, whenever we come back to Dalian for our next vacation this hotel will be definitely be one of our choice among the many hotels that we will book 😀 I enjoyed my stay, and the reception stuff was very warm and friendly, the bed was absolutely comfortable considering the we traveled for well over 16 hours from our city. I definitely had a relaxed night. My husband rested well, and he was at ease.

NNickRZI enjoyed staying in this hotel. 5 stars but reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious and the view outside looked out towards the sea and harbour. They made the beds every morning. I did not eat the breakfast as downstairs and surrounding area had plenty of cheaper options due to being next to many shopping malls. The metro stop is not so far but a little more inconvenient to get to the main train station by walking. Line 2 takes you to the airport in less than 40 minutes for 4RMB. As the metro is nearby you can get to many local tourist places quickly and cheaply. Highly recommend if you want to spend a little more but have close access to get around.
