The overall stay exceeded our expectations! The environment was quiet and elegant, and the garden-style hot spring area was meticulously maintained. The hot spring water was natural and genuine, warm and soothing. After a soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all the fatigue from my journey vanished. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the private hot spring tub offered great privacy, which my child absolutely loved. The staff were warm, polite, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. The facilities were comprehensive. This place is perfect for both family trips and relaxing getaways. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

I always stayed at this hotel for my business trips. This time, I brought my child and didn't hesitate to choose it again. It's a serviced apartment, and the room is huge. It comes with a washing machine and all the kitchen utensils you could need. The living room is super spacious, making it very convenient for working or doing homework, and my child loved it. Downstairs, there's also a billiard room, swimming pool, gym, and a kids' play area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they're enthusiastic and patient and always resolve any issues promptly. Highly recommended – I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

The hotel's exterior is magnificent, like a castle. I booked a sea view room, and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. Even though it's by the sea, the room was surprisingly dry; my swimsuit dried completely within a day. I was a bit anxious after reading reviews about long queues for breakfast, but when I got there, I found that before 8 AM, there's usually no queue. Plus, staff members directly seat you and place a reserved sign, which is a nice touch. In some hotels, even if there's no queue when it's busy, not finding a seat and having to wander around with your plate is even more awkward. Now for the good parts, there are two downsides I hope the hotel can improve. First, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is really expensive, and there's a service charge, but the taste and service were truly underwhelming. I had originally planned to just eat at the hotel every day, but after one meal, I realized it didn't even meet expectations for taste or value for money – it failed on all three counts. Secondly, for a hotel at this price point, charging for a can of Coke and a bottle of juice in the mini-fridge seems unnecessary. Many five-star hotels even offer a full selection of expensive drinks for free, along with complimentary fruit and snacks, but here they charge extra, which comes across as a bit petty.

First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in Donggang, next to Venice. You can walk to several popular spots nearby, feed seagulls, and it's very convenient to call a taxi. The concierge staff at the entrance were all fantastic, helping with car doors, closing them, and handling luggage. The front desk staff who checked me in also gave a detailed heads-up about the hot water usage. They even sent a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture, but unfortunately, I came back too late that night and couldn't eat it. Room service for deliveries was also available. Now, for the cons: It's definitely not a traditional five-star hotel as there's no pool or bathtub. And honestly, the water heater really needs an upgrade. When four people took turns showering in the evening, we had to wait at least an hour or more between each person.

In the evenings, there's live music indoors and a band outdoors. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere from the balcony, and it's vibrant but not noisy. The in-room amenities are quite thoughtful. The tissue brand offers great value for money – soft and dust-free. The air freshener has a pleasant, non-irritating scent, showing careful consideration in procurement. Overall, there are no significant downsides, except for the foot pedal on the bathroom trash can, which is a bit stiff. Upgrading to a better model would be ideal, but it didn't really impact our stay. Additionally, the front desk staff, both men and women, were very diligent and responsible, especially Chow Pak Ho. Since we arrived early in the morning, he promptly arranged our check-in and upgraded our room as soon as a vacant one became available. We are very grateful. Our child had a wonderful time and gained a lot. We plan to come back next summer with friends and their family. We hope the standards are maintained and even improved upon!

When I asked about nearby attractions, breakfast times, and various other questions, she answered each one patiently and thoroughly, even proactively offering helpful travel tips. Her perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism really helped melt away the fatigue of travel. With both excellent facilities and warm, attentive service, this will be my top choice for future trips. I highly recommend it to all travelers!

An established five-star hotel with an excellent and convenient location. Parking is available both above ground and underground; the underground can be a bit chaotic but still accessible. The lobby is on the eighth floor, smells wonderful, and feels bright and distinctive. Changing elevators is a minor inconvenience. The rooms are a bit dated and not very large, especially the bathroom where you have to shower in the tub – understandable given how difficult renovations can be. The windows don't open for ventilation, which isn't ideal. The swimming pool is decent, a 20-meter pool, so it's good for a workout. Breakfast is nice with a decent variety and many made-to-order options. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. If you don't have extremely high expectations for the bathroom, rooms, and facilities, it's still a good option, as it's one of Dalian's oldest five-star hotels and still retains its charm. I'd recommend staying here.
