4-Star Hotels in Dalian

Traveling with family, including seniors and kids, we chose this seaside guesthouse in Dalian and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. They even proactively tracked our flight from Ningbo due to typhoon concerns, and after check-in, they gave us great recommendations for popular attractions and restaurants across different price points – super thoughtful! The location is fantastic; the beach is just a 30-meter walk away, and Xinghai Square is right across the bridge. Our room was quiet and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was also very good.

I'd stayed at an Atour 3.5 in Qingdao before, so when I saw this new Atour 4.0 opening in Dalian in 2025, and it was close to Dongguan Street, I booked it well in advance, thinking Atour's service is always great for a trip. I had high expectations, but the actual stay was a bit disappointing. 1. I booked a room without breakfast. Last year, during the off-peak season in September at the Qingdao branch, they directly offered complimentary daily breakfast for two throughout my stay, which was a great experience. This hotel only offered one day of complimentary breakfast for two. I tried the coffee machine in the public area downstairs both morning and evening, but for three consecutive days, there was no milk, so I couldn't make coffee properly. The self-service beverage experience was poor. 2. The room hardware was brand new, and basic cleanliness was acceptable. However, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the maintenance of public facilities and service details. The cleaning staff came daily during my stay and did clear the trash, but they only re-made the bed simply, and visible hair on the bed wasn't cleaned. 3. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear noise from next door. On the last night of my stay, the TV inexplicably turned on by itself in the middle of the night for some unknown reason, severely impacting my sleep experience.

The itinerary perfectly balanced attractions both near and far, came with a list of affordable and authentic local eateries, and even included thoughtful reminders about the weather and parking spots. Xiao Jia was incredibly kind and considerate, with an all-encompassing plan. The service was meticulous and professional, and they even offered luggage storage after check-out.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown.

My first hotel experience during my Dalian trip exceeded expectations! ✨ The hotel boasts an excellent location right by Xinghai Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. I was pleasantly surprised upon check-in when the front desk upgraded my room. My room faced the ocean directly, offering a clear view of the Xinghai Bay Cross-Sea Bridge. The sea view was expansive during the day, and at night, the bridge lights created an amazing ambiance. The room facilities were relatively new, clean, and tidy. The hotel staff provided exceptionally good service; they were warm, polite, and responsive. Food deliveries could even be brought directly to the room by a robot, saving me the hassle of going downstairs to pick them up – a real time-saver and stress-free experience!

I came to Dalian this time for a football match. I hadn't stayed at this hotel before, but after this visit, it completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is on par with hotels like Orange and Atour, but the price is competitive and the service is just as good, if not better! Secondly, the hygiene is excellent, and the cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. The front desk staff were patient and well-mannered, even reminding me that the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. Although I didn't drink any, it shows their attention to detail and service awareness! My comment about it exceeding expectations isn't just talk; usually, you get what you pay for, but this place offers a service experience that goes beyond its price point.

Guest Rooms Late-night congee service: Very thoughtful. Bamboo Study Bar: Comfortable environment. Service: The service was excellent and proactive. Both the robots and staff were great. Cleanliness: Overall, it was good, especially for a hotel near the train station. The transportation is very convenient, with connections everywhere. If you're looking for a more upscale environment, you might try other areas in Donggang district. Breakfast: One of the best.

Passing through Dalian on a business trip, I stayed at this Atour Hotel. The exterior and lobby design of this Atour have a nice vibe, and it feels quite upscale. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Zhongshan Square and just a few minutes' walk from popular restaurants, making it very convenient to stroll back after dinner. The room was clean and the environment was quiet.

The room was clean and bright, equipped with comprehensive smart facilities. The lighting and air conditioning could be controlled with a single touch, which is a godsend for lazy people. The cleanliness was meticulous, and the service was warm and attentive. Plus, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and it offers great value for money. I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, which is great for catching flights. They offer a shuttle service; just contact the front desk in advance and they'll drop you off. If you prefer to walk, it's only about a ten-minute stroll.
