I booked a special offer room, and the design is really well thought out. It's compact but doesn't feel cramped or stuffy. I specifically checked the amenities and facilities, and they're the same as those in the other sea-view rooms, which shows the owner really invested in the place. My favorite part is the balcony – with all the flowers in bloom and the sea view, it's absolutely gorgeous! Just a side note, sitting there with a cup of coffee at night, enjoying the light show on the cross-sea bridge, is incredibly relaxing. The owner is a bit too modest; the actual stay was much better than what the pictures suggested.

Guest UserA good hotel is key to a successful trip! This hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, and across the bridge is an amusement park. The paths are flat, perfect for strollers or 'baby walkers' (though the area right outside the hotel entrance has cobblestones, which can be a bit bumpy for strollers). The room environment is excellent. We are a family of five – four adults and one child – and stayed in the 'Star Blue' room, which was perfectly spacious. It had a 1.8m bed downstairs plus a tatami mat upstairs, and even a single sofa that could be used for sleeping. The space felt generous. There's also a private little courtyard where you can hang kids' clothes to dry (as long as it's not raining). The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, so no more bringing dirty clothes home!

Guest UserI genuinely recommend this hotel; the overall quality far exceeded my expectations. The lobby is grand and spotless, creating a wonderful atmosphere that instantly brightens your mood upon entering. The guest rooms are a good size with a well-organized layout, and the washroom is clean and refreshing with a consistent and ample hot water supply. The front desk staff are patient and enthusiastic, always going the extra mile to help with any requests, providing truly heartwarming service. The hotel's hygiene is rigorously maintained, with every nook and cranny meticulously cleaned. The location offers convenient transportation, making it a stress-free and comfortable choice for your travels. Definitely my top pick!

Liu*yangMy friends and I stayed at the Dalian Qingqiu Hotel during our trip, and the overall experience was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The hotel boasts a new Chinese design style, with elegant and refined layouts that exude a rich classical charm. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character.
The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay.
The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips.
The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended.

Guest UserThe environment was fantastic, with a wonderful atmosphere and a rooftop terrace. The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and spacious – the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The bottled water provided in the room was even from Bama Platinum Spring, a truly exceptional quality. Manager Ningning was incredibly attentive; we booked two rooms, and she specially arranged for us to stay together and even upgraded our room type. The entire experience was excellent and a very comfortable trip. Everyone should stay here! I highly recommend it to everyone. It was because of this wonderful stay that we came back to stay here again.

okoksosoI came to Dalian this time for a football match. I hadn't stayed at this hotel before, but after this visit, it completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is on par with hotels like Orange and Atour, but the price is competitive and the service is just as good, if not better! Secondly, the hygiene is excellent, and the cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. The front desk staff were patient and well-mannered, even reminding me that the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. Although I didn't drink any, it shows their attention to detail and service awareness! My comment about it exceeding expectations isn't just talk; usually, you get what you pay for, but this place offers a service experience that goes beyond its price point.

This Mercure hotel has a fantastic location, right by Youhao Square subway station, and within walking distance to Tianjin Street and Zhongshan Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. The rooms are clean and dry, with ample space. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation and good soundproofing, and the bedding is comfortable. I also appreciated the towel warmer rack. The only downside is that the standard room we chose faced north, making it a bit too dark and somewhat uncomfortable to spend time in.

LingerxiaojiaoziNow that my trip is over, I still want to review my stay. I chose this hotel because it was already in my favorites when I decided to visit Dalian. I picked it primarily for the scenic views, and indeed, the hotel's location and the room's view were quite good, and the staff service was okay. However, there were a few aspects that were rather mediocre.
Firstly, the mattress and pillows. After a five-hour drive, I didn't get that comfortable, refreshing feeling when I lay down. The mattress even felt like it had a springy texture. For someone like us, who just wanted to relax at the hotel and explore a bit, this significantly impacted our travel experience. We stayed for four consecutive days, and every day felt like an endurance test; I even considered switching hotels for the last two days.
Secondly, the shower. The overhead shower didn't work, so my 6'3” partner had to use the handheld showerhead, which was quite low, even for me. More importantly, the water temperature was unstable; for all four days, it kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Since showering isn't exactly the time to call for assistance, I just had to bear with it, dodging the water when it got too hot or too cold.
Thirdly, breakfast and meals. Given the hotel's somewhat secluded location, I suggest they improve their dining options. On our first day, we had planned to enjoy a nice dinner, but there really weren't many choices. Also, for a resort hotel, breakfast ending at 9 AM is far too early. Even budget hotels like Hanting and Atour now serve until 10:30 or 11 AM.
There were also some minor issues, like running out of complimentary water in the room. When we asked for more, the water provided wasn't the same brand as the original. Honestly, how much cost can they save by doing that? But it certainly detracts from the guest experience. I had initially hoped to make this hotel my go-to choice for future Dalian vacations, especially since it has its own small beach. I hope the owner collects guest feedback and focuses on optimizing the actual experience, especially considering the price point. This stay was definitely not as comfortable as the two days we spent in Shanhaiguan.

Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a suite, which was very comfortable. Dalian is lovely and cool this time of year, and we could open the windows in the living area directly, keeping the room cool without needing AC. While the overall facilities in the room are a bit dated, you can tell it was once a four-star standard, and it was clean with no strange smells. It was also quite soundproof. The bathroom deserves a special mention for being very spacious – much better than many other hotels. The hotel's location is excellent, with a supermarket nearby for convenient shopping, and taxis can get you anywhere quickly. The elevators are fast. My only wish is for a wider variety at breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, which is great for catching flights. They offer a shuttle service; just contact the front desk in advance and they'll drop you off. If you prefer to walk, it's only about a ten-minute stroll.
