4-Star Hotels in Samarkand

I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the shower was huge, and I was especially impressed by the enormous bed (you could fit in it on a Thursday). The grounds are well-maintained, and the hallways are decorated with decorative elements. The breakfasts are good, with plenty of choice and everything is delicious. The hotel is located close to the airport, and the sights are 3-5 km away. A taxi takes a maximum of 10 minutes. They're not expensive, and they'll take you there for 10,000-15,000 soums. Overall, check into this hotel and you won't regret it.

The hotel is in the city center, the transportation is very convenient, the room is very clean

The hotel is relatively close to the station, about a 20-minute walk, and they offer a shuttle service. It's a rather upscale hotel. It's also not far from nearby attractions, which are quite enjoyable and won't get boring even after multiple visits.

We had to extend our stay and decided to stay at the same hotel for practical reasons. The room is clean and convenient, they provide water bottles and Ahmed tea which is the best. The only thing missing is a bidet in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. The location is central, a few minute walk from everything you need to see in Samarkand. And a 15-minute drive from the train station. The man working at the reception on the last night was not as pleasant as the first two as he stopped us on our way to the room for the taxes we had to pay because we extended our stay. He could’ve done it differently and asked us while we checked out or simply told us to come pay when we have a chance to do so, which is usually what is done in other hotels. But instead I had to go back and forth several times to try and pay him by cardbecause he could not figure out how to make the card terminal work. I was so tired and just wanted to use the bathroom and go to sleep and he would ask me to wait an hour for his manager to come, and then lecture me about how things are done in hotels worldwide, as if I did not know, having stayed in hundreds of hotels myself… anyway, I figured he was just new and a bit awkward but there was no need for the condescending tone or to imply that we were going to leave without paying the taxes…

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. All my expectations were fully met. The staff were polite and attentive; you feel their welcoming attitude towards guests from the very first moment. The room was clean and cozy, with everything you need. I especially want to highlight the very convenient location of the hotel, making it easy to get to the city's main attractions. A big plus is the sauna and swimming pool. After walking around the city, it was especially nice to relax in the hotel's spa area in the evening. This added even more comfort to my vacation. Overall, it's a very pleasant and charming hotel. I only have good impressions. I highly recommend it.

It's called Medina Hotel, so you might think it's inside Medina, but it's actually on the roadside. The hotel is a one-kilometer walk from Registan Square. There are restaurants and beverage shops downstairs, so it is generally convenient. The room facilities are average. The repair service was forgotten and we had to contact them several times. The network is pretty fast. The breakfast was very good and rich, and it was served on the balcony on the 5th floor, so you don't have to eat lunch after having breakfast.

We really liked the hotel. It’s new, clean, with nice rooms and a good breakfast. Conveniently close to the airport; it’s better to take a taxi to the main attractions, but everything is within about 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and genuinely try to help the guests.

The website's header image was awful; the strange color scheme almost ruined my booking! Actually, it's a very charming and thoughtfully designed hotel with lots of small decorative details. It's very clean and tidy, and the little courtyard outside the restaurant is adorable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that it's not very close to the various attractions, but taxis are cheap in Uzbekistan, so this is negligible. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel, which is very convenient. You must try the fried chicken at ”Chicken Express” across the street!

Everything was great. The only inconvenience was with taxis due to poor navigation around the property – not all drivers could get directly to the entrance. More directional signs are needed. The beer restaurant was good.

The staff were friendly, but it was a very small motel in the neighborhood, and the facilities were very aging. The location was convenient to go to tourist spots by taxi. The scenic view and breakfast from the terrace on the top floor were good.
