The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning. The hostel is located in the Old Town, which is convenient as the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. However, it's situated in a small alley, and there's a stretch of road without streetlights when returning from the main square, which felt a bit unsafe at night. The owner was always helpful in solving various issues, for example, when I wanted to boil a couple of eggs in the morning. There's a water dispenser available in the common area, which is handy. The day before I checked in, guests reported no hot water, initially thinking it was due to late-night usage. The next day, it was still cold. When asked, the owner said a circuit breaker had tripped. Once fixed, the water was very hot, so it's important to report any problems promptly. It was advertised as a 4-bed dorm, but it was actually a 5-bed dorm, which was quite a surprise. The owner claimed it couldn't be changed on the platform, a reason I found hard to accept. Even if the main listing couldn't be altered, they could have added a note in the remarks section. Otherwise, it feels like deception, especially for a 'non-refundable' booking where no money is returned. This was the case for both the female and male dorms. With many guests staying, the cleanliness of the common areas struggled to keep up. Also, I didn't seem to find any lockable personal lockers. The owner, who uses a wheelchair, runs this hostel, which is commendable, and the price is good. However, the issues mentioned above do exist. Luckily, I only stayed for one night as a stopover.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, always welcoming and ready to assist with any questions. The room was spotless, clean, and comfortable throughout my stay. I also appreciated that the hotel allowed me to check in early without any additional charge, as my room was available. That thoughtful gesture made my trip much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend Old Station Hotel Samarkand to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay.

The hotel is conveniently located about one kilometer from Registan, Shah-i-Zinda, the mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, all within walking distance. It's a guesthouse in a small courtyard, clean and tidy, though some facilities are lacking (no toothbrushes, slippers, or an electric kettle). Hot water needs to be heated in the communal kitchen. The owner is very kind, provides a tourist map, and speaks English. When I visited, there was road construction, making it very difficult to get around, but it should be finished in a few days, so future guests will be lucky.

The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When my flight was unexpectedly changed and I had to leave in the middle of the night, they were very understanding and went above and beyond to assist me. I really appreciate their help. Thank you!

We set a triple room, the room is very clean, the decoration is very special, the service is very warm, the breakfast is very rich, you can store your luggage, when you leave the store, you also help us arrange a free delivery to the train station, and send a special gift to the store, and also intimately take a photo with us! In short, the accommodation experience is great! The only fly in the ointment is that there are no slippers and shower caps!

優點:1.位置優越。距離雷吉斯坦廣場步行大約十五分鐘。2.前台小哥服務不錯，沒有電梯，拿行李上上下下，熱情周到。3.三樓有個觀景平台，有沙發桌子，適合休閑遊旅客。缺點:1.房型不標準，大床房空間有大有小。沒房了給我三人間，床的寬度目測0.8米。2.前台沒有pos機，預付擔保金也不能抵扣房費，衹能用現金付款。

Amazing stay at Classic Hotel Samarkand! The room was very clean, comfortable, and all the furniture and facilities felt brand new. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the 24-hour front desk was very convenient, especially for late arrivals or early departures. Very recommended!! Everything was well-maintained and made our stay in Samarkand very comfortable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Samarkand — definitely a place worth staying at!

The location is unbeatable, you will find yourself in the pedestrianised area connecting all the main historical attractions. However, the entrance is obstructed by the outside seating area of the restaurant next door(which has good food). You have to awkwardly make your way through the bbq smoke and diners in the evenings. The rooms are compact but sufficient and the air conditioning is good. However, the blinds barely do anything so it’s too bright in the early morning. Also, there was only cold water and colder water in the shower. There was a steady stream of dying ants making their way into my room each day, which was not ideal.

The hotel's location is excellent, and although the room is small, it has everything you need. It's clear that it has been recently renovated, but the cleaning is poor. We asked for the room to be cleaned, but they didn't even sweep. Breakfast is simple but decent.
