Guest UserFive-star experience! Highly flexible front desk and perfect location! The service quality here is absolutely top-notch. I had a special reason that required an early check-in, and the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible in handling my request, making my arrival stress-free. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Moreover, the location is superb and extremely convenient for shopping and exploring. I cannot praise the front desk team enough for their professional and warm attitude. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit!

AichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's right next to a subway station, literally just a wall away on the upper floor. It's also only a one-minute walk to the pedestrian street entrance. I was worried about crowded elevators, but that wasn't an issue at all. The staff were also quite friendly. The only downsides were the very limited breakfast selection and the poor soundproofing in the rooms. There was someone stomping around upstairs – not sure which country they were from! Overall, my stay was pretty perfect.

YichenGraceBefore my trip, I was overwhelmed trying to pick a hotel in Myeongdong. I then changed my strategy and opted for Dongdaemun, which is just two subway stops away from Myeongdong, and it turned out to be a very wise choice. The hotel lobby is on the 14th floor, a large spacious hall. Check-in is done via self-service machines, but there are also staff members available. Initially, my friend and I had separate rooms, but a Chinese-speaking staff member kindly helped us switch to adjoining rooms. They were truly friendly. There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven right next door. The room wasn't large but it was very clean, and we had no problem opening two small suitcases. Breakfast was good, and you can even see N Seoul Tower from the upper floors. The subway, airport bus, restaurants, and shopping malls are all nearby. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

DongfangerwenAlthough I didn't see many reviews for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, it was relatively cheaper during the Dragon Boat Festival compared to other hotels around Myeongdong, and the double rooms were larger than those near other commercial areas. It's a Japanese-style hotel, popular with many Japanese guests. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, and staff are available to assist if needed – the service attitude is excellent. The bathroom has a bathtub and toiletries, so you only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room also provides bath salts and eye masks. The soundproofing is very good. Right outside the hotel, there's a small CU convenience store, a Starbucks, and a food street, so dining out was very convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae Department Store, Myeongdong, or the subway station. There's also an Olive Young on the way to the subway station. The best part is that the Incheon Airport limousine bus stops right on the street outside the hotel, making travel to and from the airport incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again – highly recommended! Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people!

lilsheepThe hotel is located in between Myeongdong and Dongdaemun, about 20 to 30 mins walk to each. Closest subway or metro station is Euljiro-3ga. Airport limo 6015 has a stop nearby Kukdo Hotel which is around a 10 min walk away.
The rooms are large and well furnished. It's more like a service apartment than an actual hotel. Lots of hotel guests from HK, USA and Japan.
We got the family room with 2 rooms and a toilet. Each bedroom had a queen bed, good for 4 adults. Room also came with washer/dryer, convenient for long stays.
Breakfast buffet was crowded each morning. Felt more like cookhouse than a hotel.
Food options around the hotel are limited, but there is a 24hr Emart24 and GS25 right in the building so it's very convenient .

The hotel surroundings are nice, and the front desk staff speak basic English. On the first day, I found a midge on the curtains, but otherwise, the cleanliness was acceptable, and there was no drain smell from the bathroom. Disposable slippers were provided, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Everything in the minibar, except for water, was chargeable.
I booked a hotel in Gangnam because I was attending a concert at KSPO Dome.
Pros: After the concert, it was usually easy to find a seat on the Express Line 9, and I could quickly reach Bongeunsa Station. There aren't many restaurants on the way back to the hotel, but there are several convenience stores.
Cons: The walk from Bongeunsa Station to the hotel is really, really far, and you have to climb a gentle slope before descending! Cheongdam Station is about half the distance, but coming from Olympic Park, you'd need to transfer from Line 5 to Line 7, and Line 5 is usually much more crowded after events.
Additionally, I had extended my stay through Trip.com before check-in, but the front desk initially thought I had only booked one night. After some communication, they found the extension order and processed it. However, on the second night, my room card stopped working and needed to be re-authorized. I hope the platform and the hotel can improve this issue.

Penguin Graph Lost in TokyoThe room is really nice and comfortable. We really had a good time when stay.
Check-in and Check-out is really smooth and comfortable.
There has many convenience stores around, however, the restaurant around is quite limited and close early.
We love to stay again if we have a chance.

Heather BrowneThis hotel was perfectly located for exploring Seoul. On my first evening, even though I arrived a few hours later than planned, I was still able to enjoy an evening walk at Changgyeonggung Palace, followed by dinner at Gwangjang Market, a stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, and a walk back to the hotel via the charming street of cafés and bars beside the walls of Jongmyo Shrine. Public transportation was very convenient, with several bus stops within a block or two of the hotel, and there were multiple convenience stores and restaurants nearby as well. Despite being so centrally located, the area did not feel crowded, noisy, or especially touristy. It is also close to SNUH, which may be a plus for some travelers. My favorite part of the stay was the view of Changgyeonggung Palace from my room.
The room was comfortable and perfectly adequate, though not especially fancy. My main complaints were that the bedside plug was awkwardly hidden behind the mattress, and that the toilet did not have a bidet, which was particularly inconvenient given that toilet paper cannot be flushed.

EddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
