4-Star Hotels in Paris

This is my second stay at this hotel. I first discovered Hotel Florida Paris through Amex on my previous trip and loved it so much that choosing to stay here again for my second trip to Paris was an easy decision. First stay was in superior room and it was cosy yet comfy. Stayed in deluxe room this time, the difference in space between superior and deluxe room is quite noticeable. The location is great for my preferences, within comfortable walking distance of many attractions. The hotel itself has a cosy, charming, authentic Parisian character that I really appreciate. I tend to avoid large chain hotels, so the boutique feel and attention to detail here make a big difference. The atmosphere feels warm and personal, and the overall experience is consistently enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again on future visits if I can find a deal -actually already planned another trip to Paris but due to busy season it’s a bit pricey, so will be looking for deals-

Exceeded my expectations! I love Paris! Even though the hotel room was really small – I couldn't even fully open a 26-inch suitcase – and I specifically booked a room with a balcony, it didn't matter. These things didn't detract from the beauty of Paris. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. When we bought food from Monoprix in the evenings to bring back to the room, they always helped us heat it up in the microwave. We could also refill our bottles with tap water ourselves. The only minor downside was being woken up by the fire alarm at around 3 AM one night. Everyone in the hotel ran down the stairs. That night was quite a scare...

The room was very well-equipped, with cooking utensils provided, and the dishwasher was a big plus; however, the air conditioning and heating systems kept turning off automatically, and the heater wouldn't turn on. After we reported this, the hotel provided breakfast for us one day because the repairs didn't take place until after check-out! Very nice! 👍🏻

A Stunning Aesthetic Marred by Disappointing Service My recent stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts allowed me to immerse myself in the splendor of the awe-inspiring interior design crafted by Raphel Navot and indulge in the allure of the popular rooftop bar, which undoubtedly left a positive and lasting impression. The interior design of the hotel was a masterpiece in itself, with Raphel Navot's talent evident in every detail. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall guest experience. Additionally, the rooftop bar provided breathtaking views of Paris, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. Regrettably, the overall experience was overshadowed by a combination of disappointments, notably the service at the ground floor cafe. The male employee with a beard exhibited a dismissive and inattentive demeanor during my interactions with him. His lack of attentiveness made me feel overlooked, leaving me hesitant to further explore the cafe's offerings. While I typically do not demand exceptional service, this level of inattentiveness fell short even of my usual expectations. This attitude displayed by this specific employee overshadowed the positive hospitality offered by all other employees at the hotel, leaving a bittersweet impression of the overall service. Furthermore, my stay was marred by a billing issue, resulting in double charging for my fully prepaid reservation. Such an oversight was embarrassing. On a positive note, I must commend the other hotel staff, particularly those at the reception and rooftop bar areas, for their accommodating nature, contributing to a more pleasant overall experience. In conclusion, Hôtel Dame des Arts undoubtedly showcased a dedication to exceptional design and ambiance. However, the combination of one inattentive employee and the billing concerns left me with a mixed impression. I firmly believe that fostering a culture of attentive and respectful service, along with diligent billing practices, is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. By addressing these issues, Hôtel Dame des Arts can elevate its reputation and ensure that every guest is treated with the care and professionalism they rightfully deserve. A seamless harmony of remarkable aesthetics and attentive service will undoubtedly make for an even more remarkable stay at this captivating hotel.

It was a quiet place, a 10-minute walk from Place de la Concorde and with access to two stations. The room was very cute and the view of the Parisian buildings was relaxing. The amenities were also very good, including slippers and bathrobes. The staff were also kind. The shower had hot water in the morning, but not at night, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is very well located, the reception staff are friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. For two consecutive days, there was no soap in the shower dispenser. We informed the front desk and were told it would be checked the next day, but the issue was never resolved during our stay. In addition, the room was not cleaned properly. There were small leaves on the floor when we arrived, and they remained there for all four days, suggesting the floor was never properly cleaned. Another issue was that the shower door seal was broken, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor every time we showered and leaving the bathroom flooded. These are relatively minor maintenance and housekeeping issues, but they are details that guests reasonably expect to be taken care of in a 4-star hotel. Overall, the location and breakfast were great, but the room maintenance and housekeeping need improvement

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris. First, the location. I can walk to the major landmarks like River Seine, Louvre, 'Dorsay museum, Notre Dame, etc. It is located close to St Germaine, so there are many charming streets to roam about and many options for food and supplies. I feel safe wandering around on my own as a solo female traveller. Second, the place is tastefully decorated. I like my room which has windows that overlook the streets as well as the decor. The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices. The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright. Third, the staff. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me. I would like to commend her for her great personality and attitude, but I missed getting her name. The other staff I met are equally friendly and nice (two young ladies, one named Li/Yang; and another gentleman). Even if they don't know something, they will look up the information for me. They will also provide me with recommendations. I also must compliment the driver who picked me up from the airport and drove me to the airport (hotel transfers). He is very polite and considerate and he makes me feel at ease when i was travelling in his car. Even the gentleman who helped me with my luggage wore a big smile on his face. Thank you to everyone I've met during my stay and which made my experience a pleasant one. I learned only on my last day that they have another sister hotel a few steps away. One of the staff recognized me and invited me to take a look inside. Again, the place is tastefully done. If I have a chance to be back in Paris, I will check out both Artus Hotel as well as this hotel. I would also like to take this opportunity to make a request to the guests who are going to stay in the hotel - let's make an effort to treat the room as if it is our own. That way, the hotel will stay in a good condition for a longer time and future guests will get to enjoy the stay as much as I did. Thank you :)

My stay at Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse was a truly enjoyable experience and a great choice for visiting Paris. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in was smooth and efficient, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was modern, clean, and well-designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the city. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the overall quiet atmosphere. One of the highlights of the hotel is its rooftop terrace, which offers stunning panoramic views of Paris—including a view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s the perfect spot to relax in the evening with a drink and take in the city’s beauty. The location is another strong point. Situated in a pleasant and less crowded area, it still offers easy access to public transport, making it simple to reach major attractions around Paris. Overall, I would highly recommend Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Paris. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The team was incredibly welcoming. The room was very comfortable and extremely quiet. The bedding was of excellent quality. The breakfast offered a rich variety of sweet and savory options, along with various teas, chicory coffee, and other choices – it was really complete. I highly recommend this accommodation, which is just a stone's throw from the metro.

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
