5-Star Hotels in Paris

Besides excellent people and service, we should mention amazing breakfast, beautiful interiors, absolutely stunning bed linen and mattresses, nicely perfumed cosmetic sets and many more. First, the good: the aesthetic of the hotel is exceptional, especially the lobby and the bar. You receive a personalised welcome including a history of the hotel. The rooms are super quiet and dark at night and you'll for sure get a good sleep. The bad: the rooms are very small and the one we got (Rose) was a disappointment compared to the photos. The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee which you get in even the most low budget hotels, and when the front desk was called to ask about this, we were offered tea brought to the room, but then charged 20 euros (we got this removed from the bill of course, but this should not have happened to begin with). The service was very slow during our stay, both the check-in but also the breakfast. It felt like it was understaffed, even though at breakfast it was only around half full at the time. In general, the service level attempts to be more personal to justify its 5 star rating, but clearly more staff are needed to pull this off properly. The spa was too cold to enjoy. I would not stay again, but would consider visiting the bar to enjoy the unique atmosphere.

First of all, the location is particularly good. In the very safe area of the sixth district, it is also called ”the rich district” by the locals. It is very convenient to go out by subway Line 10 and Line 12. Opposite the road is the department store of Le Peng, which is very old in France. Department store, the LV and GUCCI inside do not need to queue very few people, but the goods are relatively complete. The important thing is that the hotel has a Chinese waiter, but I still have to say that it is insufficient. The breakfast fee was confused and my fee was charged. After I found it, I checked it with them and refunded the fee. The staff may have mistakenly made it. it is good. I should choose here next time.

I booked the most expensive room type, but the hotel gave the attic room. The bedside location was facing the bathroom door. How to communicate did not admit that the room type did not match. This made my impression of the Frenchman discounted. Trip.com Customer service is very powerful, has been helping me to fight for the rights and interests that I should have. The location of this hotel is really good. In the sixth district, it is safe and quiet. It is recommended that friends who come here book the basic room type. Opposite the hotel is a Macaron bakery in Paris. This may be relatively biased, so I didn't see the queue. We stayed here for a few days and had breakfast every day.

Located in a quiet area away from the tourist crowds in 1st district. Plenty of dining and shopping places in Marais and Bastille within walkable distance for locals that you can get an authentic experience. You can get a uber to most places at very affordable prices. The subway 3 minute walk away also has a ticket counter that you can manually purchase all types of transport tickets, load up money without struggling with faulty vending machines. Best rooftop restaurant to enjoy the view of Effie tower, note dame and monmatre every breakfast. Jesus at the front desk is top notch for helping us with taxi and luggage every time. River facing room has good views and great amenities. Love the little surprise gifts at every turndown service. As someone who has been to Paris many times. I much prefer this 3 year old new hotel to many other 5 star hotels in haussman buildings with old infrastructure and small rooms. Will stay again!

Our room is tastefully furnished with high-quality fittings, creating a comfortable and elegant space to wake up in and relax after a day out. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful layout and attention to detail, which made the stay feel both practical and refined. The level of service exceeded our expectations for Paris, while remaining consistent with the high standards we associate with the Ascott group. Staff were professional, welcoming, and always willing to assist. The hotel is very conveniently located, within a short walk of shopping, the metro station, cafés, restaurants, and major sights, making it easy to explore the city. Despite its central location, the surroundings felt safe and pleasant, even in the evenings. Overall, the stay was smooth and enjoyable, with a good balance of comfort, service, and location. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

It is a pleasant property with helpful and courteous staff, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the stay was less comfortable than expected. The mattresses are of poor quality and caused a sinking feeling in the bed, making sleep uncomfortable. Street traffic can also be clearly heard and even felt in the rooms due to constant rumbling. In addition, although the television is advertised as a smart TV, it does not allow connection to a phone or laptop. The spa treatment itself was rather average. On the positive side, the pool and steam room area is very nice and especially pleasant during winter. The fitness area, however, feels dull and poorly equipped, with basic, low quality treadmill. Overall, the property has potential, but several aspects fall short of what one would expect at this level and noticeably affected comfort.

The location is very convenient for tourists; you can easily find Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food just downstairs. The only downsides are its proximity to a main road and the fact that the glass doors don't provide much soundproofing, making it a bit noisy.

It was the perfect way to start each day. The service throughout my stay was warm, attentive, and professional. From check-in to check-out, the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made the experience all the more memorable. Overall, Hôtel Elysia is a wonderful choice for those looking for elegance, comfort, and top-tier service in Paris. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to others seeking a refined and relaxing stay in the City of Light.
