The room was great and the service was good, but the facilities need to be better managed.

I found out the Eiffel Tower turns white at midnight while watching it sparkle from my bed. The hotel is a bit far from the metro, but it's okay. The front desk staff were very friendly and even chatted with me, asking about my impressions of Paris 🤣

This hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it. Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee. The Tower View Room on the high floor was absolutely amazing! Although the room was small, it was fully equipped, especially the motion-sensor night light and the two charging ports (USB, Type-C) which were super convenient. But the absolute best part was definitely the unbeatable Eiffel Tower view from the window! 👍

The environment is great. We booked an Eiffel Tower view room, and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our window. The transportation is convenient; the metro is connected to the mall behind the hotel. However, it seems like guests from Asia are always assigned to lower floors, while European and American guests get higher floors.
