Guest UserHarbin's Hidden Gem: A Retro Hotel in Laodaowai | Qian Tong Hotel is Super Photogenic!
This hotel is housed in a beautiful old Republic-era red brick building, featuring vintage French-inspired public areas. With its floral walls, contrasting dining tables, and classic black-and-white checkered floors, every corner feels like it has its own built-in filter, perfect for stunning retro photos.
The courtyard is quiet and elegant, offering an open-air space to relax and unwind. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, instantly soothing away travel fatigue.
Both hygiene and service are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive. Plus, it's right next to the Laodaowai snack street, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. If you're planning a trip to Harbin, you absolutely have to stay here!

PHANG ENG HUEIThe overall experience at Deluxe Hotel was elegant and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the bedding soft and clean, and the service professional and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. The dining options were varied and delicious, and the environment was quiet and convenient, suitable for both business and leisure. The only downsides were the high price and the need to book some facilities in advance. Overall, I recommend it; it's worth experiencing.

The hotel's decor style is very new and different from the older Holiday Inn Express, perhaps they've updated their product line. The front desk lady quietly upgraded our room type, and the room was very characteristic of Northeast China, haha. It's spacious and very clean, with not a single water stain on the faucets or showerhead, which made my OCD very happy. It's a shame we had to switch hotels later to go elsewhere, otherwise, I would have definitely stayed here longer. Breakfast was also very rich. Thumbs up!

Holiday Inn Express is a fantastic choice, just a two-minute walk to Central Street, putting you right in the heart of all the popular attractions and saving you from long taxi rides. It's also conveniently located near Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin Station, and only a ten-minute drive if you're self-driving. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Plus, they offer free freshly ground coffee, which is delicious! The breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and they even have afternoon tea with delicious, not-too-sweet cakes when you check in. In the evenings, there's milk and cookies available. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Guest UserConveniently located with excellent service, this hotel is my top choice for travel. It's right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral, and you can easily walk to Central Street. Daokou Market is only about 100 meters away. You can also take bus 83 from just outside the hotel for two stops to reach the famous Harbin网红 Railway Bridge. The best part is the amazing service; the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The concierge on the first floor even proactively offered to help us with our luggage. Harbin is wonderful, and I'll definitely be back!

Guest UserThe hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!

Guest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
