GGuest UserI can’t stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

GGuest UserAmazing start to our Shanxi visit - despite freezing subzero weather, our hearts are warmed by our most welcoming and beautiful Ms Zhang, who single-handedly took on and resolved all our issues, always with a smile and utmost efficiency and diligence; from picking us up at the train station, making us warm fresh longjing tea and fresh fruits every night breakfast preparation, recommending a driver (Ms Guo) to maximise our time in Datong, recommending the best local restaurants (Fengling Restaurant is our favourite), assisting us with our laundry, taking us to the bank to exchange money. There’s nothing she cannot do! Most importantly she is so attentive to my elderly parents, especially my mum who has mobility issue- Ms Zhang drove us to and from the city and we are very thankful for her very warm hospitality. She went out of her way to make our stay so comfortable and on the last night, took us on a drive around the ancient city to absorb the night scenery. My mum thinks this is one of the best hotel she has stayed in. Comfortable bedding and beautifully designed and well-fitted out with Smart technologies. Most highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable environment. The landlady was friendly and provided excellent, attentive, and meticulous service, truly living up to the description of a butler. She helped with free laundry, drying, and airing. She even helped reheat packed food when we returned late at night. She provided umbrellas for guests when it rained, and best of all, she offered bicycles so we could cycle around the ancient town. She also offered free plums from her own garden, which were sweet and sour and delicious. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Datong. Thank you again to the landlady for taking such good care of me these past few days.

GGuest UserThe location is superb, right within the ancient city. For those driving, parking is available at the Nine Dragon Wall parking lot, just a 100-meter walk away. Despite being in a tourist area, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Guandi Temple is also conveniently located nearby. The service was excellent, and breakfast was quite good too. Both the owner and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the May Day holiday prices were significantly higher than usual, the convenience made it completely worthwhile. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis hotel is well worth staying in, with a great location near the train station and a large shopping mall, making it convenient for dining. Hanting Hotel chain facilities and hygiene are excellent, and the breakfast is also good. It's worth staying here when visiting Datong.

GGuest UserIf you have an early flight, this is the best location to stay. Free shuttle bus takes only 10 mins to reach Beijing Capital Airport. Several restaurants are within walking distance if you don't wish to eat in the hotel.

GGuest UserThe facilities are said to be smart, but the TV and air conditioning cannot be controlled manually. I had to do everything manually. When I arrived, I realized that I had made a mistake in the reservation. The front desk quickly arranged a king-size room for me. Although there was a small fee, it was very reasonable. The main reason was that I asked for a quieter room, and they did arrange a side room for me. However, the problem was that it was almost 10 o'clock in the evening, and the garbage truck downstairs was loading garbage, which was very noisy. I usually travel casually, and I treat these little things as small episodes in life. Oh, by the way, I stayed for two nights, but the room was not cleaned on the second day, and the purified water was not replenished. It was too late and I was tired from playing, so I just laughed it off.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is perfect. It is the right place to stay when visiting the Hanging Temple and Jin Temple. The room and bed are large, especially suitable for bringing children. It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.

The boss & family are super friendly, nice & provided impeccable service. Giving us thoughtful excursion ideas & recommendations which saved us a lot of time & efforts. We highly recommend this hotel without a doubt & would definitely return again in the future.
