REGISTAN GOLD

I stayed at Registan Gold Hotel and overall had a decent experience. Positive aspects: • The staff allowed me to check in earlier than the official 14:00 time, which was very convenient. • The bed was large and extremely comfortable. • Excellent location – only 5–10 minutes walking from Registan Square and other main attractions. • Staff members speaking Turkish made communication easier. Areas for improvement: • Poor sound isolation in the room, which made it easy to hear outside noises. • Curtains were not sufficient: privacy was compromised as the room could be seen from the side/door area, and the room never became fully dark, even at night. The hotel has a great location and comfortable rooms, but improvements in privacy, soundproofing, and guest information would make the stay much more enjoyable.

The upside: Amazing location, basically 5min walk from the Registan. The staff was quite nice, allowed us to check in early. They also offer laundry service at a super reasonable price. The downside: the room had some ants crawling around the headboard and around the room, not sure it was preventable considering location. The shower drain was clogged, so definitely showering in standing water.

Location is the best. It's very close with registan. And employees are kind.

Quite difficult to find with GPS but it’s a real hidden gem! Typical uzbek old house completely renewed with high quality standards. Great breakfast and literally five minutes walk from top tourist attraction.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk from Registan Square, which made it incredibly convenient to explore the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Samarkand!
