GGuest UserI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

TTravel_ManThe front desk service is very good, enthusiastic, and helps with travel transportation. The room is new, the apartment facilities are good and quiet, and the community is very new. I mainly went to the mangrove forest to play, and went to the nearby Binhai International Wetland Park to play in the sea, play on the mudflats, and take pictures. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the homestay. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi from the homestay to Silver Beach. There is a canteen in the community, which is in a leisure activity center. You can go there for a walk. There is a pool.

LLawcchThis homestay hotel is an excellent choice for me and other travellers who like to explore Weizhou island. Mr Lin is the owner who ensures the guests feel welcomed and comfortable staying. He is a kind and generous guy who takes effort and time to send me to the scenic areas because he cares for his guest's safety as I don't really know the places and traffic conditions in the island. The location of this homestay is about 1.5 km away from the island passenger jetty and hawker stalls. He also provides scenic areas of island exploration tips. He even waited for me to pick up from and drop off at the passenger jetty when I arrived and departed the island. The hygiene or cleanliness of the room and toilet is top level. I highly recommend to all travellers to stay at this homestay which offers the best value for money.

EEdmund GerardIt’s a perfect spot for visiting Beihai. You get amazing value for money. Quality room and a lot of space too , as well as a great location close to shops and railway station. Beach isn’t close but it’s easy to reach with DiDi. No issues with getting around town either. Great power shower, good a/c , bed is comfy, and the soundproofing works!
A negative is SMOKING! Even though it’s covered in no smoking signs it still happens. Rooms can fill with smell of next door smoking or some ignoramus walking along the corridor puffing away. It’s an issue for most hotels due to the high number of smokers in China, but if they enforced fines consistently then maybe it would stop more doing it. Having said that , I still use City Comfort because the POSITIVES massively outweigh that single negative.
No frills. Just delivers on quality at a value price with good staff.

AAnonymous UserThe landlord and his wife service are very good, the pier is free to pick up and drop off, and the car rental and travel consultation in the store can be very good.
The surrounding environment and infrastructure conditions of the homestay are general, the toilets are not ventilated, and the floor area cannot be dry.
The overall feeling of Weizhou Island is not very good, disorderly and chaotic, and unified management needs to be strengthened. Electric car parking charges, parking lots and scenic entrances are a few kilometers away, and you have to spend extra money to take a sightseeing car. The consumption on the island is very high.

GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights and the dishes cooked by the chef were so delicious. We went to the seafood market to buy seafood and had it processed at the B&B. We ate at the B&B for three days. He took us to buy seafood with favorable prices and good quality. We all praised the taste. Before leaving, he also packed two servings of salt and pepper mantis shrimps. The processing fees were also clearly marked. The beautiful lady at the front desk was very friendly, answered all my questions, and was also very familiar with the island's projects and transportation. Except for the small bathroom in the room, everything else is fine. There is also free pick-up and drop-off service to the pier.

Hygiene: Very clean
Environment: There is a banana tree at the door, and there is no obstruction. The location is very good and not far from the beach.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Beihai to live in this homestay really exceeded expectations! The location is particularly good, just near Yintan, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes, it is super convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning and take a walk in the evening. You don't need to toss a taxi. It is the scenery when you go out. It is too worry-free.
The room was clean, the lighting was very good, the layout was warm and comfortable, the bedding was soft, the living was very safe, and there was no smell at all. The facilities are very complete, air conditioning, hot water, WiFi are very powerful, and daily needs can be met.
The landlord is very warm and caring, and responds quickly to questions. He will also recommend local delicious shops and play guides. It is really not pitted. The overall price is very high, the environment is quiet and not noisy, and it is very relaxing to live.
