AAnonymous UserThe city view room has an incomparable view. Sitting by the window, you can have a panoramic view of Syntagma Square and the Cathedral, and you can have an unobstructed view of the excitement of the Day of the Dead. Although it is an old building, the interior is well maintained. The breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor is okay, and the coffee bar on the first floor can also provide simple meals. The only drawback was that I stayed in a corner room, and the top floor restaurant was upstairs. There was a sound of chairs being dragged around at around 7 o'clock in the morning.

GGuest UserAs you enter the lobby strong smell of artificial perfume surrounds you which made me nauseous. We were upgraded to kingbed room. Shower head was broken. Shallow sink was designed for looks only. It splushes water The large structural column by the window takes up the whole one corner of the room. The room is small enough not accommodate lounge chair. Espresso maker is also broken as to the pod doesn’t stay and fall through. If you are carefully pressing it down slowly it will stay where it get skewered. This hotel is not a bad hotel. Great location. Staff is as nice as many restaurants and hotels in town. I will not stay here again because there are plenty of better hotels and rentals to stay in Mexico City.

DdanycPros: Free bar, the restaurant staff is very professional and friendly Cons: The room is very very small! It is so small that you can't walk after opening the suitcase. The door is also very small. The cleaner put the slippers under the bed. The cleaner put the items in different drawers and cabinets, but there was no notice, which led to looking for things everywhere. One day after renewing, I was notified by phone that I had to pack my luggage and change rooms. Since I was in another state, I asked the reason over the phone whether the room type was different. The reply was the same room type because other people stayed in my room number. I couldn't understand it. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I took the initiative to ask the front desk again. The front desk explained that the room type was different, saying that we were now staying in a ”deluxe room” and I renewed the ”ordinary room”. Because I didn't move, I had to pay the difference. Is there a smaller room than this? Don't you have to crawl in and out? Moreover, the booking interface of Ctrip always has only two room types: single bed and double bed, and never has the words luxury or ordinary. Downtown hotels with similar hardware are much cheaper. Or hotels with much higher grade at the same price. Although the restaurant's value-added services are good, it's not worth it considering the price difference. The next hotels were also pitfalls. Ctrip's overseas hotel ratings have problems.

FFraserThis is my 4th time at the hotel and by far the worst. The room was far lower quality than my last 3 stays. Would probably not stay again based on this. The price for what I got was extremely disappointing when usually it’s fantastic

HHussain Ismail from LondonReally nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio. The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis! The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul! Thanks Hotel Marquis Reforma! See you soon.

BBraden TseExceptional experience ! Ultimate Ritz Carlton experience, would highly recommend if you travel to Mexico City! Definitely get one of the best view in Mexico City from your room , it truly exceed my expectation of a Ritz Carlton hotel. Extremely good service and always address you by your name. We encounter some problems within the room in the beginning, however the front office manager solve it very quickly which is excellent. We have stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and will definitely come back if we visit Mexico City again. Became a fan of Ritz Carlton now

DDoug WThis is a modern designed hotel where the decor is in good condition and common areas and rooms are clean. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows and there is a large walk in shower, which I like. There is even a small fridge in the room which is whisper quiet. As the Hilton Garden is connected to a Doubletree (the share the same driveway) the hotel is full service, including room service, which was prompt and the food hot and wine from the Doubletree’s collection. There are numerous restaurant options just down the hill. Of course, you will then need to walk back up the hill at altitude! There is a large and pleasant breakfast area on the lower level and snacks can be purchased in the lobby. The only negative during my stay was a TV which was virtually unwatchable. After about ten minutes that picture became pixilated and the sound intermittent. It did not appear to be the feed, but my particular monitor. The front desk said they did send a technician to repair it, but I never saw any improvement. So, I could only watch by turning it off, waiting a few minutes and turning back on. That would buy me another few minutes of viewing time. Anyway, although the guide said there was CNN in English, there was not. Only Fox (which I could not watch for more than a minute anyway 😊) or the BBC, which repeats itself hourly it seems. Aside from the TV, which I suspect is a one off, I will return.

AAnonymous UserIt is indeed antique🌹It is a building built in 1907 after all, so I took a lot of photos inside the hotel. The room is nice. Although it is a bit old, the hygiene is good. I especially like that there are windows on both sides. The morning sun comes in and it is very comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor is good. It has a good environment and a wide variety of food. It is not expensive and could be used as a brunch restaurant. However, there is no USB socket in the room, which is not as convenient as a new hotel. In addition, the hotel is divided into several areas. The rooms on Londres Road are the best, and the ones facing Liverpool are darker.

AAnonymous UserI finished paying in advance with the app, but I said I couldn't confirm it, so I asked him to pay again, so he even confirmed the reservation number stored on his mobile phone and the contents of the payment, but he said he didn't know. After a long time, I didn't apologize for confirming that it was a trip.com app, but the room was also broken. It was replaced again soon. The room was clean and the facilities were good, but the condition was not good, so I put the temperature of the air conditioner up and fell asleep, but someone forced into the room in the middle of the night. The intruders were staff and they said they came to check because the room temperature was strange. But I know that the customer is in the room, but I was very embarrassed and scared because I broke in without any call or knock. The staff were friendly but there was no consideration for the guests at all. Hotel that I don't want to go again twice. It was less service than a 30,000 won room in Southeast Asia.

KkimberlytongThe location of the hotel is good, there are many restaurants around. Because it has been a few years, some facilities in the room can see the traces of time. The service is quite satisfactory, the service at the checkin at the front desk and the outdoor restaurant on the second floor is not bad (pictures 2 and 3 are outdoor restaurants, I ate at the hotel when I arrived late, the food is not exquisite but tastes good). The concierge is more ordinary, with strange eyes and arrogant attitude. What is more excessive is the waiter in the buffet breakfast room. The room rate includes breakfast, but the guest still needs to sign a bill. We gave a tip of 50peso, but unexpectedly, the waiter added a 1 in front of 50 without authorization, and it became 150. It can be seen from the photo that the 1 in front of 50 is quite abrupt, and the writing and color are different from 50. (It’s also our own fault. We only wrote the tip, and didn’t write the total amount to save trouble, because we didn’t intend to give a tip. The waiter just took the coffee pot and asked if he wanted coffee. Apart from that, he didn’t provide anything else. Serve). After staying in the tipping culture for so many years, this is the first time I have encountered such a thing.
