The location and hotel facilities are first-rate in Mexico City, after all, this city is at this level, some old but still very comfortable. Mexico also needs to give tips. I did n’t know how to give a lot of baggage to the baggage. It ’s a loss ... but others are very good. The breakfast is average and the restaurant is not too big, but I still dine in the hotel because of concerns about hygiene. I bought Mexican yogurt at a nearby convenience store, and my day was less than a thousand miles after drinking for half an hour, it was so cool

The location is safe, the rooms are large and the balconies are very nice. I will stay here next time. Although the hotel has been in operation for a long time, the facilities are OK. The room on the road is very noisy and it is recommended to choose the opposite room.

Mexico City
Went to Mexico City for a weekend getaway for my husbands birthday with friends. Check in process was long and convoluted. no lifetime Titainium status recognition what so ever, no upgrade offered, not a lot of explanation of hotel services. Room that we were initially given had a leaky toilet, that was leaking blue water all over the floor. I requested a room change. I was ignored and said someone would be up there ti fix it. Upon doing what the maintenance man had to do, he called the front desk and they relayed to me that the bathroom wouldn't be fully useable for 2-4 hours! The front desk then said they could change my room if I wanted! After wasting 45 minutes of my time we changed rooms. The next room obviously had an issue with the air conditioner. At that point I went downstairs to find a manager. After talking to two people I finally got to speak to one. They then upgraded me to a suite which was a nice and spacious room. The executive lounge apparently has a two drink limit on beer and wine? Canapés that were offered in the evening were disgusting! Fried onion rings out of a frozen pouch, a couple of salads, and few petit fours! Not uptown JW standards. Plus the person working in the lounge was not friendly, or welcoming that evening. Breakfast in the executive lounge was however wonderful! Lots of choices or different hot and cold items, with coffee's and juices avaiable! Plus the attendant was very kind, helpful, and friendly! The jacuzzi at the pool was out of service to our dismay, and there were numerous rusty nails sticking up out of the desk in which people could step on if they weren't watching or being careful! Sadly, our stay had pretty much been ruined by lack of service and the inconvenience we'd experienced. Our party checked out early and went to the St Regis where I've stayed before, and I knew we'd have a lot better experience! I've stayed at many JW's around the world, and I'd have to say based on service, and food alone this was the worst! I've had better Service at a Courtyard!

What a great hotel, with a great team and a great location! Everyone made us feel cared for. A very special thank you to ”Mago” Maria Jose Arellano, Juan Pablo, Natalia, Santiago, Laura, Uriel, Valeria, Mariana, and Brando. Our room was spacious and had an amazing view. Our breakfasts at Balta were very good. The food and drinks at Cityzen were delicious and creative (and the view one of a kind). Having access to Club Millesime worked out well and the club team was so gracious and helpful. We will definitely be returning!!

I arrived on Friday at 1 and both bars were closed in the hotel getting ready for ticketed events that evening. Lots of people were irritated they couldn’t get a drink in the hotel when they arrived. So, I could not get a drink in the hotel until evening, if I had a ticket to one of their events. Their drag show and other party didn’t interest me. So, I had a drink in my room and hit the town. The Living Room bar (reason I picked W) was closed all weekend for private stuff. So, I never even saw it. The location is great and so we walked to many bars. If I go back, I wouldn’t spend the money to be at the W, when I barely made use of the place. Service and room service were good.

Located on the Reforma Avenue, the hotel is less than 1 km from the Museum of Anthropology and the Angel Independence Column. It is conveniently located about 8 minutes on foot from Metro Line 1. The breakfast at the hotel tastes good and has local features, but the variety is small. The buffet breakfast has two options, the regular version and the local special edition. Unfortunately, even the second one is not very rich. I tried the dinner at the hotel and it tasted very good. The price is slightly more expensive than the average restaurant. The red velvet cake sold in the hotel's bakery tastes good and is inexpensive and worth recommending. The hotel's swimming pool is relatively small, the gym is not very big, and there are few people in the evening.

We are loyal Bonvoy members and look to stay at their properties when we travel so it came down to the JW, Ritz, or St. Regis. Our initial stay here was last December and we loved it and have experienced the same this trip. The butler service is prompt and outstanding. The staff here all go above and beyond to know your names and they take care of any requests (including bringing a surprise small birthday cake to my wife for her birthday). We stayed in a suite last time and just had the rack room this time and the rack room is outstanding - roomy, great features, and views. While it is impossible to cite everyone at the hotel for their service, this time through, I'd especially like to acknowledge Aldo (one of the butlers), Victor (at the front), and Martin (at the Diana) for their tremendous commitment to customer service to me and my family. We will be back. Gracias a todos!More

This Hotel is one of the most upscale in Mexico City, the bar and restaurant are on the 38th floor where you can see the entire city from above, the service is first class, the restaurant has contemporary Mexican cuisine. The finishes in the rooms are luxurious, rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The hotel may be one of the most expensive in Mexico City, but 100% recommendable, it is located in a fairly safe area and there are multiple restaurant options very close.

Pro: - high-level brand hotel - location right at the angel of independence statue, close to la Roma in the south, American embassy to the west - feels safe to stay here - breakfast buffet (320MXN, not included in my price) - friendly and warm staff, from the receptionists to the servers at the restaurant, to the cleaning staff Con: - although high-brand hotel, rooms and hotel itself are a little little bit old fashioned. If you consider the price, and all the Pro's though, I felt, it was worth the money, if you are okay not staying at the most stylish and new place. Nothing felt run down, it looked like they do keep their hotel in shape. - although the area is prominent, if you like to be surrounded by an endless choice of bars and clubs and restaurants, or if you are a young couple traveling maybe, consider other locations in la Roma or elsewhere, as you might consider this area a little bit boring. However, walking to the restaurants and bars will only take 10 minutes, so not too far. To get here: take a licensed and pre-paid taxi from the airport, so you can't get cheated on the way. Uber apparently also works fine. Price will be around 220-300MXN. I would come back any time, as I enjoyed my stay here.

Omelet for breakfast was great! Try it! The rooms are also new and the overall comfort of the bedding is very high! Especially the little brother at the front desk, people are really nice! Because of the exhibition, I came to Mexico. I went to Mexico City to investigate the market and visit customers. Before I came here, I heard that Mexico is very chaotic. It is undeniable that there may be such a presence, but there are also places in Mexico City that make me feel shocked. There are direct flights from Shanghai to Mexico, but they are more expensive, so it is generally Shanghai to Los Angeles and then Mexico City. Last month, I rushed to get a US visa, which was relatively smooth. I got the visa on Monday and received it at noon on Thursday. I also consulted some seniors before the interview, and they were once refused. Synthesize some suggestions and opinions from both sides, and make their own understanding. There has been no time, next time to open a small US Raiders article. It's true, this time it took me more than 20 hours to arrive in Mexico City (including the transfer time in Los Angeles). More than 11 hours from Shanghai to the United States was a bit of a torment. We arrived at Mexico City Airport at 5 am and 6 am, and we took a taxi for a long time. Uber could not be used normally, and it was still a bit cold in the morning and night. After going to the hotel to store our luggage, we started the plan to visit the market. After a day of violent walking, we went to major supermarkets. It happens to be the weekend in Mexico City. The temperature is suitable. On the main roads in the city, traffic is controlled. People are running, cycling, and dancing square dances. With such good sunlight, cool and comfortable temperatures, it is very sporty And energetic atmosphere, this makes us feel very shocked, very breath of life. At the same time, we felt very shocking. It is the historical trace and artistic flavor of this century-old hotel we chose (Hotel Geneve Ciudad de Mexico). The decoration of the entire hotel is full of a sense of time, like a museum, indulging in it. Recommend everyone to try. However, the beauty is always instantaneous, because many supermarkets such as home depot, home office, office max, costco, soriana are in a relatively far place. Walking out of the city to walk, remote and chaotic, but it is in sharp contrast to the prosperity of the city. By the way, one thing is reminded: For some time on the way, we found Mobike painstakingly, and then biked to Costco, because Mobike's available range is very small and costco is out of range. When I parked and locked my car, I felt okay. A fine of 181.21 was charged for the dispatch fee, although I don't know how to calculate it, the price is a bit incredible. Later, we dragged it back to the usable area again, but refunded the fee, but it was on the Mobike account. There was no way to withdraw cash. After returning to China, we contacted the customer service to let them return to my card. One episode, I hope everyone will learn from it.

It was s very pleasant stay. They were asking us all the time if we might need anything else respecting our space. Not to pushing. The only think that happened was that l was afraid to go wandering in the city waering my gold neck chain so l took it off and l left it in the bedside chest for our whole stay. And in our way out to check out l totally forgot about it and l left it behind and when l sent them a email asking for it they told me they didnt find it :-( . Is not for the monetary value of the chain. It is more a sentimental value. It has being in 3 generations.. :-(. But for the most part of our stay it was very pleasant stay.

Advantages: Convenient transportation, quiet in the middle of trouble, there are several restaurants downstairs, it is more convenient to eat, the surrounding landmarks walk about 10-15 minutes. Disadvantages: The door head is relatively small, it is difficult to find if you don't pay attention, and the room network is particularly poor at night!

I used to book a room for the company. Later I stayed at Ctrip for 2 nights. I booked a room at Ctrip with breakfast, but when I went to breakfast, I was told that I could only eat bread and fruits, which included a row of vegetables, meat, fried eggs, etc. You ca n’t eat high-end dishes. You go directly to the hotel to classify thiamine. There are countless business trips. For the first time, I ’m going to ask Ctrip what ’s going on!

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport shuttle. The shuttle is at Gate 4 of Terminal 1. No reservation is required. Just look for the waiter there. The shuttle returns to the airport every half an hour. Before entering the hotel, sterilize the luggage and take the temperature. All staff wear masks and some wear face masks, which makes people feel at ease. I have a small suite with a dining room and a living room. Two balconies add points. I don’t need to turn on the air conditioner on this day. It is very comfortable to open the window with natural wind. There is no breakfast during the epidemic, so you can order takeaway. High cost performance, recommended.

Loved this hotel! Got a great deal for 3 nights and couldnt believe how nice it was on arrival.Beautiful lobby and right off Zocala Square so extremely central location. Was able to walk everywhere and catch buses outside of the city. The room was beautiful and modern. The window was blocked out so it was very dark but that was good in the mornings.Being located where it was I was surprised at how quiet it was, which was a massive plus.Due to covid breakfast was served in the form of a delicious packed lunch in the form of sandwiches and a yoghurt. You have to call down after 8am and they bring it to you immediately.Staff were friendly and felt very safe..Bathroom was lovely, massive shower head and good size. The sun terrace upstairs is beautiful to hang out in,with a coffee machine available at all times,The only minus would be that there was no fridge in the room.Apart from that A plus.Would definitely stay with MX again

We have been staying here for 20 years. Great hotel, with just the basic needs. This stay at check in we were asked by Enngueta not to smoke in our room, we promised we wouldn't. One night as we were asleep a man banged our door and said ”open the door” we said you have the wrong room and he insisted ”let me in” he did not identify himself, we were frightened and went down to the front desk to report this incident. He said we were smoking in our room. WE PROMISED WE WOULD NOT SMOKE IN OUR ROOM, AND DID NOT!!!!! Multiple times we wittinessed occupants smoking in their rooms with their doors open and in the hall. We think it was not nice to accuse us. Very disappointed how we were treated after all these years! Not nice! Also the cab driver the hotel called to take us to the airport left us 6 terminals away from Delta and sped off before we knew it, you should know your cabs a little better, We almost missed our flight!!!!!! What a mess.

Not luxurious or particularly charming, but safe, clean and comfortable. The location is exceptional, very close to many attractions and within walking distance of the Zocalo. The free breakfast was very good, but note that the dining room is quite small. There is a lineup most of the time, and you will likely have to share a table with other guests. The staff was very helpful and nice. Because this hotel is in a central location, it's not very quiet. Rooms facing the street can be particulalry noisy during parades. Overall, a good choice if you are on a budget.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights (August 20-25, 2022) Our stay was excellent. From the time we checked in and checked out, the process was great. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating! It was plus for me as it seems that everyone speaks English. Breakfast was included during our stay! Food was excellent. Pretty much a brunch for us, as breakfast is served from 7 am till noon: a full service. There was always something different from the day before. They even cooked food as requested. The servers were on top of what we needed or asked! A free drink was also included during our stay: The Rosa Mezcal was sooo good! Our room was very clean, and spacious enough for two people. The room is cleaned everyday! Always good to come back to a clean room after a long day out. Although we have to wait for a few minutes for the shower to get a hot water, we loved it. After a long day out, the showers was excellent once the hot water is on. We were given a room at the back, no windows, but we didn't care for it anyways. No street noise for once. Excellent location, close to everything! All walkable. There are restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy close by. They also arranged our tour , and our ride to the airport. I can't emphasized enough how exceptional service they provide for their customers. We will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you guys! Omelet for breakfast was great! Try it! The rooms are also new and the overall comfort of the bedding is very high! Especially the little brother at the front desk, people are really nice! We arrived at the hotel around 8:30 in the morning. The younger brother at the front desk was very tired to see us and helped us to apply for a special early check-in! Very good hotel!

We had a great time here: the location was great and easy to see things from, everything was super clean and the beds were very comfy too. It wasn’t a super social hostel when we stayed, and there aren’t many facilities for meeting people but for the price it was great value and we would definitely stay here again. The reception staff were helpful, nice and all spoke English too. Rubí was standout and gave us great service: she spoke perfect English and was patient and happy to listen whenever we had questions. Thank-you for the stay!

This is the second time I've been in this hotel, and 100% convinced there will be a third one time!!!. This hotel has everything you need to experience a wonderful stay at CDMX. Clean and confortable rooms, Breakfast & Buffet included. The hotel has it all. Good Location Fast internet, spaceful halls. The front desk service personell are very friendly (Believe me, at least the ones I've met). The rooms are comfortable but you won't find very big rooms. There is no need for that.

The security and sanitation are very good, the suites are large, and the cleaning staff and the front desk are pretty good. Not far from Zona Rosa and the Independence Monument, especially 2 minutes from the monument. Breakfast is also OK, three packages to choose, just next door to the hotel, recommend banana toast. There is only one drawback, the central air conditioning sound is a bit big.

Summary of stay: 6 nights. Single bed room. Conversational Spanish speaker and non-Spanish speaking travel partner. Positives: Location is in a tourist-friendly area with bars and restaurants and a lively crowd of locals. Walking distance to Reforma 222 (shopping mall) Walking distance to street food vendors (tacos, flautas, sopes, juices, etc.) Convenience store nearby. Friendly staff (non-English speaking). Apartment-style room with mini-kitchen: coffeemaker, toaster, blender, pots and pans are all provided in the room without request. Water pressure was great and temperature control was precise. Comfy set of pillows, comfy bed. Noise complaints from other room down the hall was handled swiftly. Outside noise was at a minimum. Negatives: We stayed for 6 days and the sheets were never changed. Room service did not turn our hotel room each day (we got home from a long venture and realized that they had cleaned every room except ours before stopping for the day) When requesting new towels after our room hadn't been serviced we were told to contact the front desk (I asked the cleaner directly. She had spare towels visibly available on her cart). There were coffee drops and toilet residue when we arrived. The toilet residue lasted through their cleaning of the room... obviously meticulous attention to detail is not an offering at Suites Giorgio, but you get what you pay for and this was honestly a decent hotel for the great deal we got on our stay. WARNING: If you do not speak any Spanish, this may be an issue for you. Luckily I am conversational, but my partner who is not could not communicate with the staff whatsoever. No one spoke English. Overall, if you don't mind a lower standard of cleanliness during your stay, Suites Giorgio is an affordable option with decent rooms and nice staff.

We were working in Mexico City and as always stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The staff is very supportive no matter what silly thing we need. This time it was shredding extra paperwork - note there is a shredder in the business center. The food in the main restaurant is tasty. I particularly liked the short rib tacos, but be warned, they are juicy so be prepared to make a mess. The rooms are large, the closets ample, the how water in the shower is relaxing. Overall a great property.

Cons Wifi never worked. Called reception many times and they told me that wifi was always like that. Building and rooms and in bad shape. Very worn out. They pretend to be a high standard hotel but they are not such thing. Maybe 50 years ago when it was new. Funny smell in the room, maybe from the old carpet. No ventilation. No possibility to open the window. Walls very thin and very noisy. You can even hear people talking in the other rooms. We had problems with the lock of the door. Furniture very old and worn out. No potable water from the sink. Overpriced for what you get. Pros Staff in reception was very helpful and kind. Most of all, Alexandra. They were able to keep our luggage for four days as we were coming back there. Location is great and there is a market nearby when you can eat good food for a very cheap price.
