Sala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!

An absolutely wonderful hotel! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, spotless, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety.
But what truly stands out is the exceptional service. Whether at the front desk or in the restaurant, the staff greeted us by name with genuine smiles. A special thank you to Try Sokneng at the front desk and the other lovely ladies whose names I didn't catch—we received incredible care and help from our first day until our departure on the fifth day.
Coming back to the hotel and being greeted with cold towels and icy drinks made us instantly forget the 39°C heat. I’m so grateful for the high-quality management and the ever-smiling staffs.
Blessings to Siem Reap, and blessings to Cambodia!

Siem Reap is my favorite place and feels like my second home. I’ve stayed at many hotels here, but this hotel truly deserves an excellent rating.
From the warm welcome to the room, breakfast, and Tuk Tuk service, everything was beyond my expectations. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. They even offered me a more luxurious room, which really showed how much they care about their guests.
Thank you to the whole team for your amazing hospitality and service. You made me feel truly welcomed and valued. I’ll definitely come back again! ❤️

There were almost no insects by the pool.
I was surprised.
Very clean.
Even after checking out, you can still use the pool or shower.
It was really helpful for me to be able to use it.
All the employees are friendly and have refreshing smiles. The owner
I'm from France, so there were a lot of French users.
The fried rice for breakfast was also delicious.

Masha from RussiaOne of the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Tasty breakfasts, great service, big rooms. Also very nice design of room and hotel’s territory as well. If I come back to Siemreap again I will definitely chose this hotel. Also the staff helped me to book all activities.

We were welcomed with complimentary juice and snacks upon arriving at the hotel. They had a scent reminiscent of Cambodia and were delicious. The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel offered a variety of tours, which could be booked at the front desk by the day before, making it very convenient.
We joined two tours arranged by the hotel, and both were fantastic. The price was also reasonable. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the services and the cost.

The room felt airy and generously sized, soft lighting, and a fresh, clean scent that made it immediately inviting. The staff were warm and attentive, greeting guests with genuine smiles and making early check-in possible as soon as rooms were available. The location was hard to beat, right in the middle of a lively area packed with restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and banks just steps away. We only had a difficulities to connect with the hotel Wi-Fi during our stay.

I chose this hotel as it’s near the Angkor temples but that was not so important after knowing even if you stay at this hotel, you need a ride to reach to the temples. But the staff welcoming me on my first night was so kind enough to share anything about what ordinary tourists want, which is really appreciated. The room was spacious for myself and got so relaxed in the room. One thing that I may share to you is that due to the thinness of the wall, I heard almost what was spoken in my next room and some were very uncomfortable as you can imagine. Except for that, I am quite satisfied with the hotel and would love to come again. Oh I tried their breakfast and it was great in terms of taste, quantity and restaurant’s atmosphere.

Recently stayed at the Anjali hotel. Chose the hotel due to the nice pictures advertised. Overall, our stay was very average considering it isn't that cheap of a hotel. The hotel is quite dark, and our pool access room was smaller than anticipated. They don't provide slippers or toothbrush unless you request it. The mosquitos were also a problem (we left covered in bites). The swimming pool is also very cold, even in the Cambodian heat.
Otherwise, the staff are friendly and attentive. They offer a free shuttle to the night market in the evenings (I guess because location isn't perfect). They also packed a breakfast-to-go for us before we went on our sunrise tours.
