Booked this hotel only for two nights 6-8 Jan. My past experience during my earlier travels in some cases was bad in the sense the hotel description and photographs were not factual. I reached the Angkor land Urban Botuque on 6 Jan afternoon to check in. First look at the Hotel building told me I have made the right choice. The most happening place in Siem Reap the Pub Street was about a km away. The hotel surrounding were very clean with a wide road in front and a big parking space in front. As soon as I entered the huge lobby with teak wood interiors I was greeted by the the hotel staff team. Check in took just a couple of minutes. Meanwhile the Manager of the hotel Mr. Eng Sona came and met me too which was a nice feeling. He said he is giving me a very good room on the fourth floor and if I did not mind he would shift me to a still better room the very next day which was then occupied. The room was very big and very comfortable. Had all the amenities. The next day the Manager showed me the other room on the third floor. I agreed to shift. This room too was large, the bathroom had a bath tub and in addition a separate glass bath enclosure too. It had a balcony too overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was excellent. Breakfast menu was also very good. The hotel arranged my tours too. Tuk Tuk and the motorcycle buggy called the Remork was always available just outside the hotel.. After this most wonderful experience in the first two days I extended my stay further for the remaining days too from 8- 11 Jan 24. The Manager Mr.Sona met me regularly to enquire if I was comfortable and whether I needed anything. His team of young boys and girls too were very responsive and greeted the guests everytime. I did not find any flaw or anything to complain about during my entire stay. I had the the most memorable experience in Angkor Land Urban Boutique thanks to Mr. Sona the Manager and his team.

I visited herein December 2019 and stayed for 11 nights in one of the poolside villas. I have to say, the room was amazing, the pool area was fantastic and I had the most wonderful time. After traipsing around Angkor Wat all day, it was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful and serene setting for a decent rest. I've recommended this resort to nearly all my friends since my return and I can't wait to go back there one day. Across the road from the resort there is a shop and two cafes, so you don't even have to go far for a cup of coffee or some local cuisine. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I loved it.

Apologies in advance for the long review but hopefully it will contextualise the review title! Booked to stay for three nights, hotel reached out in advance to arrange airport transfer (no charge) and my transfer was there ready and waiting when I landed with water and a cold towel. Arrived at the hotel and received a lovely welcome drink and nibbles. Staff were extremely warm and friendly, taking lots of time to explain everything about the hotel. The room was clean and of a very good standard, I’d deliberately opted for a room that wasn’t pool facing as I suspected it would be quieter facing away from the road. Reality is I don’t know for sure if there was any real difference but the room was very quiet and comfortable. Can’t say I missed the pool view. Room had very good Wi-Fi so was able to work one morning. Air con super effective. Netflix on the tv. Great rain shower with lots of pressure. I had a sun-rise tour booked so the hotel arranged a takeaway breakfast of my choice for me. Again ready at the time they said it would be (4am as per my request). The spa in the hotel (read massages and treatment) was brilliant. Can’t again rate it more highly and would definitely recommend. For us foreigners it’s incredibly affordable compared to back home. Complimentary lunch organised by the hotel was also superb. Hotel is within walking distance (5 mins) to the more touristy food streets and markets. Area felt extremely safe. Return airport transfer (again free) exactly on time as agreed. Honestly you can’t take clear communication and hotel organisation for granted. Thank you to all the team at the hotel for an amazing stay. You were all fantastic and I wish you all every success!

The room cleaners should have a more service mindset. The facilities are old, but the room key is also trustworthy difficulty. I was in the room, but someone mistakenly checked the room key and came in. My wife was startled and protested to the hotel front desk. It was the first time this happened, so she asked for a room change, saying she was afraid, but she didn't listen. Even working on the toilet bowl and water guide. I'm too angry to say that I forgot to leave a tip on the first day and came out. I left the tip the next day, so I cleaned the bathroom. A hotel I will never go to again. I've been running out of money.

Stayed in the Angkor wing Deluxe King room for six nites. Check-in was poolside (excellent), Room is nice but light switches took a while to figure out, Bathroom is nice but towel hooks can be better placed. We had to ask for room slippers and cotton wool/buds. Breakfast was good, and was the food in the Kroya restaurant. Service staff all very friendly and accommodating. My two dissatisfactions were mozzies (even in the restaurant and rooms, even though my balcony door was never opened), and the village volleyball courts (3 courts in total I believe) where locals play early/late and they are loud. Oh, on rainy nights, the crickets and frogs are very very loud (hotel room doors seem to let thru all the outside noise). Also took me to get used to the buddha pic right above the bed (it stares down on you as u sleep).

Nice hotel with Cambodian flair. The staff was great and truly gave 5 star service with friendly smiles. Everyone was such a pleasure. The lobby staff was knowledgeable and helped arrange several outings. The hotel can arrange private cars and guides. They also have a relationship with several trustworthy tuktuk drivers that adhere to fair set prices for trips into downtown and the wats. This helped the one and only downside of the hotel being a little far from downtown areas. Otherwise the location was perfect for relaxing between sights. The breakfast buffet was decent with a good variety, and the lunch and dinner menu was better than many restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole experience was worthy of a 5 star level

We had a very late check in and they were very accommodating. Knew who we were and just led us to our rooms to relax and unwind. Our rooms were modern and clean. Beds were comfy and loved having the patio next to the pool. Owner/staff were great. As cliché as it sounds, we started as strangers and left as family. This is our preferred place in Siem Reap to stay. It's along the main road however hidden. Conveniently located to Sok San Rd/Pub St and anything else that you'll need. Looking forward to our return.

There are also large suites on the second floor and the third floor that should be larger and more rooms, suitable for a multi-person family. The spacious living room is bright and furnished with Cambodian-inspired furniture, simple and comfortable. Through the glass wall of the landing hall, you can see the elegant environment of the green courtyard outside. The bedroom is also very warm, especially through the glass door of the bedroom, you can sit and chat under the green plants in the backyard. I think it will be a cozy atmosphere in the morning and evening after getting up before going to bed. The kitchen and dining room are very pleasant, with a full set of kitchen utensils and tableware and a large refrigerator, and all kinds of utensils in the room are very exquisite. Very good hotel! It is worth recommending. The hotel facilities, public area environment, and service attitude cannot be said enough. The effect is the same as in the photos. Precautions: 1. Ctrip says there is a free airport pick-up, but with the opening of the new airport, this service is no longer provided. If you ask the hotel to call a taxi, it costs 35 knives. There is a bus from the airport to the city, and then you have to walk about 1 km. The price is $8 per person. If you take a taxi at the airport, you can bargain down to $25. 2. Ctrip said that it provides free 15-minute massage, but after asking, I learned that a 1-hour massage can be discounted at 20%. It seems that there is no direct free massage service. 3. The hotel swimming pool closes at 6 p.m. 4. There may be geckos in the room, but this happens in almost all hotels in Siem Reap. Remember to close the doors and windows in time. If you find a gecko, you can ask the service staff to catch it. 5. The hotel will provide free welcome drinks and refreshments, as well as free snacks every day.
