Spa Hotels in Nanjing

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

The hotel is impeccably clean, and the room is spacious. The only downside is that the room temperature is centralized, and it became quite warm during our stay (with outside temperatures ranging from 18-22°C, while the room temperature was 22-25°C). However, the hotel staff swiftly rectified the issue by providing us with an air cooler and offering complimentary breakfast. Additionally, they gifted us fruits upon check-out. The service was truly superb. One thing to note is that the hotel is located far from the city, about a 45-minute car ride from the main tourist attractions.

We spent our weekend in Nanjing for a musical show at Nanjing Poly Theatre and Tianshiju Executive Apartment is a perfect location for us as it's right next to the theatre. The apartments are actually occupying the top floors of the International Youth Convention Hotel where the guests can share the hotel facilities. We were staying in the 2-bedroom apartment with big rooms and living areas, which is well-furnished, well-maintained and the air inside the room is fresh with no bad smell. More important, the front desk staffs are all very friendly and helpful especially Miss Anna Hu who is super patient and efficient. Also, surprising us is the free afternoon tea from 3pm to 7pm daily in the dining area which is not big but quiet. Thus, it would be perfect for those who would like to sit down for a quiet drink and snacks with friends. We had an enjoyable stay in Tianshiju and would definitiely visit again in our next Nanjing trip!!

The hotel proactively upgraded us to a room with a better view, provided advance notice about self-driving considerations, and offered recommendations for local attractions. They even asked if we were traveling with elderly family members or children. The WeChat team, surprisingly, has 16 members from various departments, ensuring quick responses. All staff members we encountered at the hotel were friendly and enthusiastic, greeting us proactively, which made us feel right at home. When other guests accidentally rang our doorbell at night, the staff promptly checked the surveillance footage and explained the situation. While it wasn't the hotel's fault, their attitude towards resolving the issue was very proactive and sincere. The room design had many thoughtful details. The balcony had a privacy screen, allowing us to enjoy the view while soaking in the private hot spring and keeping insects out. The sink area was well-designed to prevent splashing, and the toilet had a separate small sink, which was convenient (a minor suggestion: the faucet in the toilet was a bit too far from the basin, making it easy to hit the basin while washing hands). The overall hotel design was also impressive. The lobby resembled the inside of an eggshell, and the staircase leading to the rooftop garden was artistic. You could slowly appreciate various details in the hallways and the exterior, discovering something new each time. Breakfast was particularly praiseworthy, with a wide variety of options. The freshly cooked noodles were delicious, and the fruit selection was extensive and very fresh. The Mingyue restaurant offered a great view, and the sunset in the evening was beautiful. Turning left from the hotel and going straight up the road, you can reach Ichishiki Garden for a cup of coffee at sunset. The hotel provided free tickets to Yangshan Beicai and Nature Land. At Yangshan Beicai, after climbing the mountain to see the tablet head and body, you can take an elevator down (free for hotel guests). Following the small path, you can visit the Pioneer Bookstore and the Coca-Cola Brand Hall. If you have children, you can also stop by BaoBao Land, and Nature Land is also great for kids. The hotel shuttle can take you to the underground palace, and then you can take a scenic shuttle to other attractions. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and couldn't experience the cable car and mini-train. The hotel's location is quite secluded, making it suitable for self-drivers. Finally, a few suggestions regarding service details. The floor strip at the entrance was loose. We reported it for repair, and they said it was fixed, but it clearly wasn't completely (see the last picture). The front desk's information was not comprehensive enough. When they gave us the tickets for Yangshan Beicai Park, they didn't mention that the elevator inside the park was free. We almost bought tickets if a park attendant hadn't informed us. Also, they said Suyun Thirteen Gardens closed at 4:30 PM, but it's actually open at night. When checking out before 12 PM, there was only one staff member at the front desk, and they were assisting another guest with check-in. Another staff member was standing nearby but didn't offer to help. When it was my turn and I mentioned checking out, he said he would handle it and led me to another counter. Although the wait wasn't long, it was clear that someone could have assisted me earlier, but they didn't proactively ask. And finally, they asked me to complete the review before 2 PM that day... I was still driving back to Shanghai at that time, and it was the first time I encountered a time limit for a review! While it wasn't a pleasant experience, the overall service was indeed good, so I won't deduct any stars.

I specifically booked this hotel in advance for Nicholas Tse's concert, and they truly exceeded my expectations! A week before check-in, the staff proactively contacted me to confirm my itinerary, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. On the day of arrival, not only did check-in go smoothly, but I was also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite. What truly touched me was finding Nicholas Tse's merchandise meticulously arranged in the room – I'm genuinely grateful for their attentiveness! The room itself deserves high praise: it was exceptionally spacious, with perfect lighting, and wonderfully quiet and comfortable. The surrounding amenities were also incredibly convenient, with IFC and Hualian Xintiandi just a stone's throw away, offering everything one could need for dining and shopping. Best of all, the Olympic Sports Center, where the concert was held, was only a relaxing 15-minute walk away. Overall, this stay was absolutely perfect and added so many wonderful memories to my concert trip.

😃😃❤️👍STRONGLY RECOMMENDED !!! Opening the doors to the balcony, the marvelous scenery leaps into my sights. The golf court has rows of trees on both sides and a little path in front of it,leading the way to the woods. Looking up,the Zijin Mountain⛰️catches my eyes. The mists like marshmallows surrounding the peaks which are in the shade of bluish black, making the views more mysterious and sacred. The drizzling rain🌧️ outside also adds a clean and refreshing atmosphere, which chases all the tiredness away, and lets me forget all the worries. Tis just like a paradise, away from the hustle and SOOOO AWESOME to be here~~🥰🥰🥰with besties💗

I finally found the only hot spring guesthouse in Nanjing that offers traditional Balinese massage!! It's amazing! It's versatile, with a beautiful and charming environment that's both sophisticated and down-to-earth! I saw the hot springs on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), but I never expected the massage to be the most unforgettable experience! When the candles were lit and the music started, time seemed to stand still, and the world shrunk to just this one space, instantly relaxing my nerves. The Balinese traditional massage technique lasted half an hour, focusing on my shoulders, neck, and head. You can also choose a foot reflexology massage – it was so relaxing I felt sleepy! After several hot and tiring days of sightseeing in Nanjing, choosing to stay at Xiaoyuan on my last day, soaking in the hot springs and getting a massage, was the perfect way to end my trip – totally worth it! Also, I even saw a wood-fired stove!!! It was beautifully decorated. Next time, I'll invite my friends over to play mahjong and cook a big pot of local dishes [wow][wow][wow]~ By the way, the owner's tomato pasta was also delicious. See you next time!

The hotel offered excellent service and facilities. The front desk staff, in particular, were incredibly friendly. However, as it's integrated with the Wild Animal World, reviewing the hotel alone isn't objective; the entire complex needs to be considered. After all, without the Wild Animal World, who would travel all the way to such a remote location to stay here? Considering the entire complex, it's quite mediocre. The main issue is the Wild Animal World, which is quite disappointing. Firstly, there are too few animal species. And for almost every animal – sika deer, hippos, elephants, kangaroos, rabbits, birds, etc. – carrots are sold at the entrance. It's 30 yuan for one portion, 50 for two, and each portion only contains 10 small pieces, not even enough to make up one whole carrot. If you don't feed them, you can only observe from behind a fence; you can enter the enclosure only if you pay for food. I spent 120 yuan just feeding animals along the way. Visitors aren't allowed to feed the animals with their own carrots, and I saw that the ones they brought looked fresher than what we bought. Secondly, there are too few amusement rides. There are only four: a Ferris wheel, a pirate ship, a carousel, and small rotating airplanes. The equipment is so small, similar to what you'd find in a shopping mall. It doesn't feel like an amusement park at all. Moreover, except for the Ferris wheel, the other three rides operate at fixed times. Each session lasts only two or three minutes, and if you want to ride again, you have to wait for the next scheduled opening. Thirdly, the complimentary hotel's 'Lion Star Children's Playground' included in the package can only be entered once, but no one informed us of this. On the first day, while waiting for our room card, we went down and played for about forty minutes. Once we got the room card, we dropped our luggage in the room and headed to the Wild Animal World. The next day, when we tried to re-enter, we were turned away, told we could only enter once. Even on a Monday, when there were hardly any children inside, we weren't allowed in. If we wanted to enter, we'd have to pay over 80 yuan for a ticket. With this scale, who would be foolish enough to pay over 80 yuan for a ticket? Fourthly, the concept of a 'Night Animal Exploration' is good. But participating in it reveals how chaotic the organization is. There are too many people. They split into two groups, each with at least 100 adults and children. Armed with flashlights, the educational staff used microphones and loud speakers, walking non-stop. Doesn't all the noise, the microphone sounds, and the flashlight beams truly disturb the animals? We just kept walking and walking, with almost no time to stop and observe. What's the point? It would be better to have smaller, boutique tours, maybe 10-15 people per group, even if it costs more, to allow for a quieter experience where children can truly observe, learn, and explore. Fifthly, they advertised a complimentary whole roasted lamb. The catch is that you have to spend money at their restaurant. For my eight-year-old child and me, the best value was a 199 yuan set meal. For 199 yuan, we received a very small portion of roasted lamb. If you don't dine at the hotel restaurant, the whole roasted lamb is not complimentary. Sixthly, there are very few dining and cultural creative stores within the park. Far fewer than at Hongshan Zoo. The overall experience at this Wild Animal World doesn't feel like it belongs in a provincial capital like Nanjing; it's more like a county town. Many county towns even have more amusement facilities than this. Of course, there are irreplaceable advantages. There are five adorable giant pandas. We went at 9:30 AM, when it wasn't crowded, and watched them for a full hour. Purely for the panda viewing experience, it's even better than the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. If your child loves animals and wants to see them, I recommend Hongshan Zoo; it's more conveniently located and offers a better experience. If you're an out-of-town friend looking for a leisure vacation, since you're already traveling, I suggest going to Zhengzhou's Yinji Animal World. It's a world of difference. If you want to see many animals.

For such a large hotel, the arrival plaza doesn't even have temporary parking spots. A security guard was rudely shouting at and shooing away cars dropping off guests, which really lowers the standard of a Hilton. As you can see in the picture, it's full of electric scooters. You can't even temporarily stop to pick someone up, whether it's a ride-sharing service or a friend coming to get you. Waiting is such a hassle, you can't even get out of the car. The experience is really poor. I suggest opening up the parking area.

From the hotel lobby to the guest rooms, every corner is full of a strong holiday a**osphere, which makes people feel happy. Here, you can enjoy various facilities such as hot springs, SPA, gym, etc., and feel the relaxation and comfort of body and mind. Especially the hot springs, the water is clear and the temperature is suitable. Soaking in it seems to wash away all fatigue and troubles. The service of the hotel is also very thoughtful, and the staff is warm and friendly, providing us with thoughtful service. Here, we can not only enjoy a comfortable accommodation experience, but also taste a variety of delicacies to meet the needs of taste buds. In general, Ziqing Lake Hot Spring Resort Hotel is a perfect resort, whether it is a family trip, a couple's date or a gathering of friends, it can meet your needs. If you are looking for a good place to relax and enjoy life, you might as well come here and have a look!
